Chapter 112: Genetic Superiority.
"Vessa can you hear me? Are you ok over there?" Thomas's voice came through her local comms now as trying to hear anything inside the tube was getting more difficult thanks to the nerve agents the bugs had filled her tube with.
What was worse was that Vessa had noticed that whatever they had pumped into the tube with her seemed to be eating into her suit slowly.
It wasn't rapidly dissolving the thing like plastic dipped in Xeno blood or anything like that thankfully.
But she had noticed a distinct scoring to the outer layer beginning to occur which indicated that whatever mixture of chemicals and nerve agents they were currently using was starting to work towards compromising the integrity of her suit.
This meant that other than the clock of how long their oxygen supply would last, they now had the countdown of how long their suits would hold up against this chemical barrage.
"Yeah I hear you, my love, how's your suit holding up?" she replied turning to look at him and seeing nothing through the green haze that filled her tube.
The gas in her tube was so thick now that it was like trying to look through some of the Heavenly Scale's sweet pea soup.
The thought of that restaurant in her pride's home city made her stomach growl.
It was a little male-owned restaurant not far from the tower that her pride lived in.
It was very popular with all the local prides due to it not only being both owned and staffed exclusively by males but also having some of the best food in the city.
Bitsy Ravenscale, the owner of the Heavenly Scale had said in an interview with a local reporter from Pride Life Today News, that he had always felt a compulsion to feed people the very best food, just like he had always down for his late pride.
Bitsy had lost his pride during the war after they were killed in active duty on the surface of Raptoria and the government had paid him a stipend like they did for all war widowers.
But Bisty still felt that drive to feed a pride he no longer had, so he took that drive and turned it into something positive for himself and his community.
His restaurant which was named after his pride's pet name for him, was staffed solely by males and more than that they were males who like Bitsy had lost their prides in the war and were war widowers.
This fact alone had drawn prides to the place.
The instinctual female drive to comfort these poor males had caused the local prides to flock to the place in droves, so much so that to have a sit-in meal you had to book six months in advance.
Thankfully for Vessa's pride, they had been friends with Bitsy and his pride before the war, so they got preferential treatment and priority booking.
But while prides came first out of pity and a wish to comfort the poor prideless males, they came back because the food was absolutely divine.
Infact a little delivery male on his little hover scooter with a large hot box strapped to the back was a near-constant feature at the Surface Stalker barracks and the Guard Pride barracks.
Vessa closed her eyes inside of her tube and she felt her mouth water at the thought of Bitsy's fresh Rock Crab sticks and spicy dipping sauce.
Or even better his flame-grilled Skipper Lizard steaks with a side of sweet mashed tubers.
Her stomach growled again and she chuckled to herself.
"What's so funny my love?" Thomas's voice asked and she realised the comms channel was still open.
"Oh I was just thinking about a little local restaurant back in my home city, It is run by a war widower called Bitsy Ravenscale and employs only war widower males, which in itself is odd but the food is absolutely amazing, it made me hungry and I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that I'm feeling hungry while locked in a tube filled with Great Tree only knows what that's eating slowly into my suit," she said.
She heard Thomas chuckle now as well.
"Yeah I get that, I was kinda thinking along the lines of something similar just to take my mind off this shit," he said softly.
"What were you thinking about?" Vessa asked curiously.
"Well there's a little Xeno-run burger van that comes around to the Hunter training grounds every day at midday without fail, they bring down fresh food from queen Aine's farm hive, so there's fresh chips, fresh bread that's milled and baked right there in the hive, even fresh meat from the animals raised and culled there, even some more exotic things that the Hunters bring in from their hunts that are sanctioned by our conservationists every so often too," Thomas said.
"What's a burger van?" Vessa asked in confusion and Thomas laughed.
"It's a phrase our Grand Patriarch taught us, he was there on the grounds one day when the little Xeno van comes trundling up the road from the hive and pulls up at the gates to be let in and its filled with all sorts of fresh food for the Hunters, he takes one look at it and says, 'Fuck me sideways, now we have Xeno burger vans roaming around all over the place, now I know this place is home,' ever since the name stuck, the Xenos even stencilled it on the side of the van, but to answer your question, back where my species come from they were quite common where our Grand Patriarch grew up, he said that you never needed a watch if you were near an industrial estate, because if the burger van was there it was dinner time, they are little mobile kitchens built into either a trailer or large van, so they can cook food for people to order right there on site," Thomas said with a chuckle.
Vessa chuckled at this and then she had an idea and a smile crossed her scaly lips.
"What a wonderful idea, I bet Bitsy would love that and I can see it now, an army of little male-staffed Bitsy vans spreading out through the city, heading for the industrial and business sectors, ready to provide hungry maleless prides with a little taste of a homemade male cooked meal," Vessa said making Thomas chuckle.
"You're welcome to it just make sure you treat me to a Bitsy burger when our pride gets here and busts us out of this fucking place and the war is over, I could really go for some of that home-cooked meal feel, male prepared ration packs really doesn't have the same ring to it does it?" Thomas said making Vessa full on laugh out loud now.
This caused some of the science bugs who had been monitoring them inside their tubes to look at her with what she figured was probably confusion.
She tried her best to glare at them despite barely being able to see them through the gas, then there was the fact her helmet hid her face, but she glared all the same.
"You are so on my male, when we get out of this place I'm going to drag our entire pride right to Bitsy's for a tail-slapping meal," she said.
"That's the spirit," Thomas said.
"I just hope we make it through this to do that and I cannot wait to introduce you to all of our pride's extended family...oh dear," Vessa said cutting herself off as she realised that she would have to inform Jex's parent pride what had happened to their daughter.
To his credit, Thomas seemed to instantly pick up on what had her worried now.
"Don't worry my little love, when the moment comes to tell Jex's pride that their daughter is a hero and that she now stands in the Golden Garden basking in the golden sunlight of the eternal sun, dancing among the green fields and standing under the vast open sky while protected by the branches of the Great Tree while she waits for her pride to join her, I will be standing right there alongside you ready to tell them how much their daughter means to me and what an incredible young woman she was," he said.
Vessa felt tears starting to well up in her eyes and she couldn't help but smile as she nodded to herself.
"Thank you, Thomas, you have no idea what hearing you say those words means to me and I know they will mean the world to my pride sisters as well," she said.
"Don't you worry my little love, as a member of the pride who Star Hunted a member of the Clan she is entitled to a full Clan honoured funeral and even entitled to be buried on the Clan's home world in the grounds reserved for our fallen heroes but I know that Jex would want to be buried or cremated back home but that doesn't change the point that I will make damn sure that the Clan recognises her sacrifice when the time comes to say that final goodbye to my beloved wife and your beloved pride sister, I will be stood there side by side with all of you as the Clan delivers her home in the honour that she deserves," Thomas said.
His words touched her heart in ways that Vessa never believed possible and it made it all the more profound that she could hear the truth ringing in every single one of them as he said them.
"Thank you, my love, I know that will mean the world to her, though she'd probably be both embarrassed by it while also loving all the attention, she was a really odd little tail chaser was our Jex," Vessa said with a chuckle.
"Tail chaser?" Thomas asked with a soft laugh.
"Yeah it's a friendly name we often give young Raptorians especially children as they have a habit of chasing the feathers on their own tails a lot and sometimes Jex felt like she was doing the same, she always had so much energy that it just seemed like she was chasing her own tail feathers," Vessa said with a laugh.
"And here was me thinking it was a reference to her chasing males," Thomas said making Vessa laugh again.
"Well I suppose you are not wrong, though last time I checked you don't have a tail or feathers," Vessa shot back.
"True enough, though I doubt I'd look all that good in feathers if I'm honest, certainly not as good as you girls look anyway," Thomas said and Vessa smiled to herself.
Here they were facing death and he was still paying her compliments and trying to make her feel better, it was as if she could feel Jex leaning over her shoulder to whisper 'I told you so,' in her ear.
"Never know until you try," Vessa said and she seriously hoped that they would get the opportunity to do just that.
However, as she looked at the damage that the outer skin of her suit was taking she was beginning to think it might not be possible.

"Contacts, one hundred meters ahead, count many," Cemmil said over the comms.
"Looks like that's where the pings of our missing pride sister and male are coming from, we should get in there and..." Tezz began before the deep voice of Ziva cut into the comms.
"Patience little one, I understand your desire to retrieve your loved ones, but we must do this correctly or we risk their lives by our brash actions," the large Yautja Huntress said.
Before Tezz could reply the commander's voice came through.
"Ziva is right, this needs to be slow and precise, the bugs undoubtedly know we are in the tunnels by now, but I don't think they know where we are exactly, so our best bet is a stealth approach, find out what the situation is and then set up for an assault," she said.
Tezz growled but then sighed and nodded, she knew the commander and Ziva were right but that still didn't help the fury and injustice she and her whole pride felt at knowing that their beloved ones were just up ahead.
"Seekers, Hunters and War Angels on me, we're going dark and quiet, Alpha pride and the Knights of Beledonia hold here, dig in and hold this position until we are ready, if it goes south move in fast and hard," the commander said.
"Roger that commander, we will form a line right here that none shall pass," the leader of the Knights of Beledonia said placing a large armoured hand on the shoulder of Tezz's mech and she looked through her cockpit at the massive Beledon Seeker Knight.
She nodded inside the cockpit and then turned to the others.
"Dig in Alpha pride, no one gets past us, not even a fucking scale tick," she said lifting the massive gun that her suit had.
"Engaging static defence mode, deploying dynamic armour system," Rax said as her suit hunkered down and the armour plates shifted to turn the suit into a static turret defence system, if anything moved in front of her now, it was getting shredded.

Misty moved silently in the centre of the tunnel with her fellow Seekers flanking her while Thomas's Hunter team followed behind them protecting their rear so the Seekers could focus on what they did best.
Above them, on the roof of the tunnel, she could see the Xenos of the War Angels scuttling along the ceiling of the tunnel.
Even without their cloaking systems being fully engaged the Xenos were almost impossible to see, despite their armour being blood red with flecks of gold.
Nothing was as adapted to fighting in the shadows as well as the Xenomorphs were and these War Angels of Queen Ink's hive were a true credit to that hive.
When Queen Ink had promised the Clan that her sons and daughters would fight for the Clan in payment of the debt of the Clan standing for them, she had truly meant it.
That was not to say that the queen and her Seeker king were happy to put their sons and daughters forward without stepping up themselves.
Queen Ink was aboard one of the mighty Dreadnaughts directing her hive from there while her King was in charge of a Seeker team on the ground fighting in a different arena.
Misty thought about his sons and daughters fighting alongside their king and charging into battle at his side and it made her smile.
A true warrior King slithering into battle fearlessly alongside his hive as well as his brothers and sister Seekers.
It was a legacy that was going to truly endure on the Clan homeworld as well as others that the Clan touched and it made Misty smile, she hoped that she too could make such an impact on the Clan and its allies.
She hoped that this mission that the Grand Patriarch himself had handed to her would be the first step towards cementing that, that she too could be an example for others to follow just like these legends.
Moving down the tunnel towards the sight of the pings that the trackers were picking up and pretty soon they saw exactly what had been setting them off.
The bugs had set up a defence point that seemed to be guarding a blast door of some kind though it kinda reminded her of one from a Xeno hive, a mixture of resin and hardened metal meshed together.
In front of the door were a series of hardened cover points that had teams of drones hidden behind them while stood in the centre of the tunnel were their heavy bio suits and even from here she could see that they were armed to the teeth.
This was definitely the place, this was a last stand if she'd ever seen one which to her meant that what was behind that door was incredibly important to their war effort in this region.
"Hold up, looks like they got this place locked down and sealed up, we're gonna need a plan to get past them," Misty said.
"We could try hacking the door, see if we can get it to open behind them," Hista who was a member of the War Angel team holding onto the ceiling above them.
"That's going to tip them off to our presence though," Ziva said.
"Not necessarily, if they do not see a reason why the door opened they may just assume it was either a malfunction or someone inside wishing to leave," Misty said thoughtfully.
"Do you believe you can bypass the locking matrix Hista?" Misty asked looking up.
"I believe so, I will have to get direct access to it but that should be no problem," the large Xeno said.
"Ok, that's the door handled but we need to also do something about those defences, while I have no doubt that our troops will be able to punch through them we need to make things easier for them, any ideas?" Misty said.
"The main problem will be those mech suits, if we can get close enough we should be able to plant charges on the suits which when the shit hits the fan we can detonate to cripple them, which should allow the Knights and Alpha Pride to steamroll right through those machine gun posts," Ziva said and Misty nodded in agreement.
"Agreed, I'll leave that in your hands Ziva, you and your Hunters set charges on the suits and if you have any of those shrapnel mines on you set a few near the strong points," Misty said.
"Roger that commander you can count on us, they will never even know we were there until their heads are hanging on our walls," she said.
"Ok now we have a working plan so let's get to it, you all know your jobs so maximum stealth from here on, if it goes loud hit the bio suits first as in close they are going to be the biggest problem, alright let's go," Misty said and the group began to move forwards down the tunnel.
Every single movement the group made was both painfully slow and dutifully calculated.
They could not allow the insects to get wind of the fact that they were among them until it was too late for them to stop what was going to happen.
The way Misty saw it was that the defenders holding this door were only one-third of the overall problem they faced here, there were also the facts that there were bound to be defenders on the other side of the door as well as their captive people to worry about.
The Seekers main job would be to secure the captives first before the insects had any kind of chance to execute them or harm them in any way.
This was going to require maximum speed and focus which was what Seekers specialised in.
When those doors slid open all of the Seekers would storm the room at maximum speed, as undoubtedly any defenders would be looking at the door opening seemingly on its own, the same as the defenders on the outside.
It was also at this point that she hoped the Hunters would detonate their charges which would hopefully cripple the bio suits allowing the Knights and Alpha Pride to push forwards and steamroll right over the outer defenders.
It was her distinct hope that this complete chaos would distract the internal defenders long enough for the Hunters to get stuck into them along with the War Angels, then this would allow the Seekers to pluck both Thomas and Vessa from their grasp before they even knew what the hell was hitting them.
As she took a step one of the massive bio suits turned to face her and Misty froze in place like she had been rooted to the ground.
She could feel her heart beating so hard and fast in her chest that she felt sure the bugs would hear it tapping against the metal of her armoured suit.
As she looked at the massive bio-mechanical suit she couldn't help but think of a Super Major from an ant colony.
The super majors were essentially the elite solder caste of the ant world.
Easily two or three times larger sometimes more than any regular soldier and up to ten times the size of a worker drone.
Their sole job and indeed purpose was to defend the hive and the queen by any means necessary.
You rarely saw them among the rank-and-file soldier ants unless the soldiers encountered a larger problem than they alone would be able to handle, say an enemy hive trying to muscle in on their foraging grounds.
It was then that these behemoths would be deployed to ensure that their hive's territory remained intact and that none would be stupid enough to pick a fight with their colony.
However what Misty found truly fascinating in this scenario was that rather than actually make a caste that fulfilled the role of the super major, these insects had instead delegated the task to a bio-mechanical suit.
Now there was a certain logic at play here that Misty could see.
For example, it was a lot easier for them to both produce and augment a bio-suit rather than a standard being, it also meant that essentially they could recycle their pilot caste as ground warriors when they were not piloting their spaceships.
She also figured that it would be cheaper in the long run when it came to things like making repairs or augmenting the capabilities of the suit, it was always going to be a lot easier to swap out parts on what was essentially a vehicle than a person, despite the obvious augmentations that the standard soldiers seemed to have.
The super major suit slowly turned back to the direction it was originally facing and Misty took a moment to truly appreciate the level of bio-mechanical engineering that must have gone into creating such a thing.
Not only was this thing a fully contained environment but one that seemed to directly interface with the nervous system of the pilot.
She wondered if when the pilot was strapped into this thing did it actually feel like it was part of its own body rather than a machine it was driving.
She also wondered if there was a way for the Seekers to use this to their advantage in the long run.
There were a good many Seekers who could interfere with the operation of an enemy's nervous system through powerful high frequency and energy pulses.
Depending on the type of shielding the suit had outside of the obvious ballistic and energy shielding it could theoretically be possible for a Seeker to disrupt the pilot within the suit without ever even touching them.
She would have to remember to report this thought to both the science hive and the Grand Patriarch after this was all over, but for now, she had to focus on the job at hand.
Misty watched the Hunters slowly and silently moving between the super major suits like shadows in the darkness.
Each one of them was a master of being totally silent and undetected when they needed to be.
This was a result of the Grand Matriarch's training, as for all her passion and fire the Grand Matriarch was still the best Huntress in the Clan.
Misty could see the Grand Matriarch's words in every step and movement the Hunters made, it was something she remembered well and fondly as every Seeker was required to undergo training with her before passing out to become a full Seeker of Truth.
The only way you got your Seeker badge was if you could successfully sneak past a squad of Hunters who were guarding an area without using your Dream Warrior abilities or speed.
It was both a thrilling and daunting challenge and a good few Seekers were forced to repeat the training and exercise due to being caught by the Hunters.
The Grand Patriarch would never scold those who were caught however, he would instead praise the Hunter that caught them and reward their vigilance before taking the caught Seeker prospective to one side for some intensive training.
It was his way of showing that Clan Mason was a whole, that they were all part of the same thing both Hunters and Seekers alike.
The Grand Matriarch was the same way and would always make a point to both reward and congratulate any Seeker who made it past her Hunters completely undetected.
Now as she watched the Hunter team gracefully dancing with the large super major suits Misty could see why the training was so intensive.
Each of the Hunters moved with a grace and a precision that could only come from constant repetitive training that built a form of muscle memory so deep that it was more instinctual than thought out.
As she watched Ziva moving right in the shadow of one of the suits, mimicking its every step without ever touching it as she shadowed and prepared her charge Misty felt herself smile.
This was what Clan Mason was all about, all those incredible differences and abilities mashed together to forge something new and far far stronger than its original parts, a perfect unity.
Once all of the Hunters had planted their charges successfully they all detached from their shadowed suit and moved to join the Seekers near the door.
Misty and her Seekers were spread out into a line like sprinters awaiting the starting pistol to fire and signal the commencement of their race.
Above them, Hiska and his War Angels were gathered at the seam between the blast door and the ceiling of the tunnel.
All of them watched patiently as Hiska slowly and deliberately picked his way down the outer frame of the door before locating the activator and access panels.
It seemed that he planned to attempt to bypass the bio circuitry that powered the locking mechanism but if that failed he was going to use a direct power method to force the motors and locks to activate without it.
So while he hooked into the access panel another of his team crawled to the spot he had indicated and began using what appeared to be some of their blood which had been put into some kind of special spray bottle.
The second Xeno used this bottle to simply melt the metal that shielded the motors and locking mechanisms and once they had access they began hooking wires and probes from what looked like a portable powercell into it.
Misty had to hand it to these Xenos, they really were a clever bunch, to say the least, and despite Ink's hive being bread for battle rather than the sciences their natural problem-solving skills shone.
Hiska worked on the access panel using some kind of decryption system to look for a way to bypass it, now Misty did wonder whether this would work on the bug tech as a lot of it was biological but then she remembered, so was the Xenos.
Xeno tech had a serious amount of biological know-how built into it, so if any species in the entire universe could figure out how to bypass a lock that used pheromones and markers as its indicators to grant a person access, it was them.
This confidence was very swiftly rewarded as there was a sharp beeping for the door and it slowly began to rise into the ceiling, taking Hiska along with it as he rode the large metal blockade upwards back to his comrades.
Some of the super major suits turned to glance at the opening door though whether it was in confusion or expectance was anyone's guess at this point.
Misty and the Seekers began to charge their energies, she could feel it welling up in her like trying to hold both lightning and the blast from a nuclear bomb within your own body.
Every single one of both her muscles and nerves crackled and arced with it as she condensed it down ready to expel it in less than the blink of an eye.
As soon as the door was high enough the Seekers fired off their energies as one.
No sooner had they begun their run than Misty saw the world slow to an absolute crawl, everything was moving so slow that she saw the blast wave of the explosive charges moving into the room behind them and washing over both the Hunters and the War Angels as they burst into the room after them albeit in what looked like slow motion.
It instantly became clear to Misty that this place was some kind of laboratory, as all the specimens and autopsy tables around the place kinda gave it away, as did the monitoring and scanning equipment.
Not to mention their own people in some kind of resin and glass tubes that had been filled with some sort of fucking gas.
Misty and her Seekers shot right past what was obviously the commander of the region as was obvious by his highly modified super major suit that reminded her of the last one they'd captured, but he was not their immediate priority, getting their people out was.
Misty focused all of her speed and all of her strength into a single point and when she hit the glass she did so with all of that stored energy.
The result was that the glass turned into powder rather than shards and even before the cloud of gas could begin to pour out into the lab beyond the tube, Misty had reached in and plucked what was blatantly Vessa by the size of her out of it.
The small shape of Vessa was small and light, making her easy to lift right out of the tube and throw over her shoulder.
As she turned to get Vessa to safety she saw Riska a large female Yautja Seeker pulling the same trick on the other tube and plucking the shape of Thomas from the column of bile-green gas before throwing him over her shoulder.
The other two Seekers of her team covered both her and Riska as they carried their precious cargo to the relative safety of a covered area in the corner of the room where she deposited her charge down on the floor and instantly noticed the scoring and damage to the outer skin of her armour.
Her eyes instantly darted to Thomas and noticed the very same thing on his golden Hunter armour and her heart skipped up a few notches.
"Gas Gas Gas! Everyone deploy hazmat!" she yelled into the local comms just as what could only be described as the gates of hell seemingly opened in the tunnel outside.
She instantly knew that both the Knights of Beledonia and Alpha Pride were on their way because it sounded like living thunder was rolling down the tunnel towards them.
Around them, all of the Clan warriors were activating their suit's hazmat protocols to prevent the gas from getting them but it also seemed that the bugs were not immune to their own viscous product.
As the vile green mixture rolled over the combatants it was like watching wax figurines that had been jammed into a microwave, the bugs actually began to fucking melt!
The commander and his entourage of super majors were trying their best to keep fire on the Clan members as they backed rapidly away from the rolling tide of green death that was killing his warriors with the effectiveness of a giant bug bomb.
Suddenly there was a roar of pure rage and fire from just outside the doorway and four Raptorian powered armoured mechs charged through it and into the fray swiftly followed by the Beledon Knights.
The effect of their presence was immediately felt.
Seeing the retreating super majors suits and the commander they were protecting the two groups sprang right into action to prevent the commander's escape.
While Alpha Pride turned their heavy weapons on them and pinned them down, the Beledon charged past them using their distraction to get around them and create a wall of meat and metal between them and the exit.
"Seekers on me!" Misty yelled after quickly checking that Vessa was both alive and safe, infact the little Raptorian was so alive and well that she was already crawling her armoured scaly ass towards her nearby human husband.
Her team just appeared next to her even before Vessa reached Thomas and threw herself into his waiting arms behind their cover, "Let's get the bastard who did this, I want his ass alive and well, he's going to explain to the Grand Patriarch in person why he did this and why he thinks it's acceptable!" she snarled.
"By your lead boss, he will not escape the justice of the Clan and its allies!" Riska snarled clicking her mandibles inside her helmet.
The four Seekers charged through the swirling green death that was washing over the whole room with such speed that they created a vortex behind them that sucked the gas along in their wake.
All four of the Seekers hit the commander so fast that he had no chance to respond and seeing what her brothers and sister Seekers were doing, the leader of the Knights of Beledonia added her strength to theirs as they dragged the commander clear of the gas wave that they unleashed.
The columns of gas that had been following in the Seekers wake hit the super major suits like fountains of death, the suits began spazing out like someone had just jammed an electrical wire up their insectoid assess.
The backs of the suits burst open and their pilots scrabbled and scratched wildly at their exoskeletons as they melted away like they were made of nothing more than soft wax.
It was a truly gruesome sight to behold.
Green ichor was pouring out of every single orifice the insects had and even some more that the holes in their carapaces had created.
To the Seekers, it felt slow but in reality, it was incredibly fast, the gas was incredibly efficient at what it did and in mere minutes all of the bugs were dead except for the commander who the Seekers had dragged out into the tunnel.
The doorway looked like someone had simply bombed it from orbit, the Raptorians and Beledon had chewed right through the bugs like a living steamroller.
"All call signs fall back to the tunnel, get clear of the gas!" Misty yelled into the comms as she and her Seekers systematically crippled the commander's super major suit trapping him inside of it.
Her warriors did not need to be told twice and they all came streaming out of the doorway with the Raptorians in the mech suits leading the way carrying their pride members in their mechanical arms.
"Where the hell did you get these suits from?" Vessa asked as they emerged from the gas.
"Wedding present from the Clan's science hive and our R&D prides, don't worry there's one for you too," Tezz said as she carried her sister and their husband along in her metallic arms.
"Sure packs more of a punch than a MK5," Thomas said sounding a little bit embarrassed to be carried along by one of his little wives despite her being inside of an oversized mech suit.
"Well I guess we'll be walking everywhere from now on then," Vessa said.
"I'd walk the whole circumference of this damn planet as long as I have my sisters and our husband alongside me, hey boss has that science hive of yours got one of these suits in human size for our husband, preferably with a few added feathers and maybe a nice open neckline that shows off his chest, or maybe just make it see through along with his armour?" Tezz said making Misty roar with laughter.
"I'll see what they have on hand, but first I might need your help dragging this fucker back up to the surface," Misty said but before Tezz could respond the Beledon all stepped up to her.
"Leave it to us boss, we will handle it," their leader said before grabbing the downed commander hoisting him up and heading for the exit, it was time to call the Grand Patriarch and tell him they had another present for him.
