Disclaimer: You guys know how it goes by this point. Last chapter before the season finale, and the stakes are gonna get high even before the big battle. I hope the upcoming five chapters turn out to be as action packed and emotional as the previous three seasons managed to do. Then again, this season was full of heartbreak, so I guess the same will apply here. Let's commence and figure out for ourselves!

Also, I don't own Paw Patrol.

Paw Patrol X

Land and Sea arc Episode Seventeen: Miranda's Warning: Brace Yourself Paw Patrol!

It was training time at the Paw Patrol lookout, and F.M. was having a sparring match with Charm in the training room as Skye watched them. Charm was blocking F.M.'s punches with his paw palms before dodging her last one and aiming a spin kick at her. She ducked under it, and attempted to punch Charm before he caught her fist. He then threw F.M. over his shoulder and towards the wall. F.M. regained her balance and jumped off of the wall, charging at Charm at the same time he did to her. They started colliding punches and kicks once they reached each other.

F.M. landed a right hook on Charm, who then spun around and sent her back with a backhand paw strike. F.M. kept her standing and charged at Charm again, feinting him out with a punch before spin kicking him from the other side. He barely had enough time to block this and land a counterattack with his own kick. F.M. low swept Charm, who used his front paw to jump to the side and dodge her frontflip kick. Once F.M. jumped back up, she blocked Charm's lunging punch with just enough time to do so.

Charm swiftly grabbed F.M.'s chest and pinned her to the ground with all of his might after low kicking her shin. As he kept her with her back on the ground, he proudly declared himself the winner. "Well F.M., looks like I win."

F.M. accepted Charm's helping paw up as she reminded Charm of how close she was. "Just barely. I would've had you if I saw that chest grab coming."

F.M. and Charm left the training room with Skye congratulating them on their progress. "You've both gotten a lot stronger since we dealt with Slash and his demons. You should be as ready as need be for Miranda!"

"And you'd better believe that's what I'm aiming for!" F.M. exclaimed with a thumbs up to show her optimism towards reaching that goal. She then started thinking about how prepared the others would be for such an attack. "Chase and Rocky should be ready too. And Snow and Marshall have also made a lot of progress."

Just then, F.M. and Skye's Pup Tags beeped with Ryder calling them all to the living room. "Paw Patrol, to the living room!"

"Ryder needs us!" F.M. and Skye said in sync, and they rushed off to join them. Charm, unsure of what to do, simply shrugged and decided to come with them.

F.M. and the others arrived in the living room to find that Miranda was on their TV, speaking to them through a big underwater monitor. After everyone in the Paw Patrol was in the room, Miranda gladly got to greeting them. "Greetings Paw Patrol. It's a pleasure to see you all could make it."

"Cut to the chase Miranda!" Ryder demanded, and then Chase and Marshall snickered at the way Ryder worded that. "You wouldn't be calling us without a reason!"

"As if anyone would. Just listen up!" Miranda demanded right back, holding her trident in her paw and looking at it as she began explaining. "I've become well aware of all the things you've done to persuade the Mer-Pups into losing faith in me. That seminar, manipulating Coral, bringing my Mer-Pups to the home of that wretched husband killer?" F.M. and Marshall growled in response to Miranda insulting Blaze like that. But she wasn't done. "So I decided to return the favor... by declaring an all out war on Adventure Bay to happen in one week's time!"

The pups weren't too surprised to get this news, but they were still concerned about their chances. F.M. stepped forward, being more than ready to declare her own challenge to Miranda. "If you really think my family isn't worth anything, then I say you prove it." Miranda raised an eyebrow as F.M. finished her declaration. "I've already fought you twice Miranda. The next time we fight, we'll keep going for as long as both of us can breathe!"

Miranda loved the sound of that, being able to kill F.M. in a battle to the death. Just the very thought of it made her insides tingle. "That sounds lovely." Miranda then remembered one other detail she wanted to share with the Paw Patrol. "Oh, yes. I forgot to mention that I broadcasted this all over Adventure Bay." The Paw Patrol flinched at that revelation with several homes and businesses being shown, including Katie and Mr. Porter, as Miranda finished that detail drop. "They now know about this war too. They'll be putting a lot on the line for you."

"Oh no, putting a lot on the line for us." Snow spoke up with clear sarcasm in her voice. "That sure doesn't sound like what people do when we try to SAVE THEIR LIVES!"

Everest put her paw on Snow and had her step back, and Ryder then made his response clear. "We'll be ready for your war Miranda. We had a feeling you'd try to attack us anyway."

Miranda held her trident with both paws as she expressed delight in the war that would soon come. "Then be prepared to watch everything you know and love die around you." Miranda laughed maniacally as the monitor turned off with F.M. and the others knowing they had to be prepared for this battle.

Ryder got right to the point with something he wanted all of the pups to bare in mind. "Listen guys. I know this might be tough. But we'll need to get some more recruits in for this battle. Miranda will have too many soldiers for us to guarantee victory on our own."

F.M. already had an idea on who to call, taking her Pup-Phone out while assuring Ryder she had something in mind. "Already planned on it Ryder!"

Outside the Lookout, F.M. and Marshall were waiting as F.M.'s phone rang with Marshall speaking up. "Sunshine could die in this battle F.M.. Miranda won't be holding anything back."

"I know. That's why I'm leaving it up to him." F.M. assured Marshall, speaking up when the call got picked up. "Sunshine! Hey!"

Sunshine was shown on the other end working on a new sword as he greeted F.M. back. "Hiya F.M.! How're things back home?"

"Not so hot. You know that bigoted murderer Miranda I told you about?" F.M. asked with concern.

"Yeah, the leader of the Mer-Pups." Sunshine answered, showing that he already knew quite a bit from F.M.. He showed concern when he asked his question about that. "She didn't hurt any of you, did she?"

"No, not yet." F.M. assured Sunshine, who sighed of relief before F.M. explained what was going on. "I don't know if she reached Dragon's Hamlet, so I'm just gonna get to the point. She's declared war on Adventure Bay!" Sunshine became shocked and concerned upon getting this news, hoping that F.M. and the others would be able to handle that. "I know this is a lot to ask, but even with Charm on our side now, we only have twelve trained fighters at home."

"Say no more!" Sunshine put the call into face time and showed F.M. and Marshall his sword. It was a yellow one, just like his skin color. It looked very sharp too, which is why he put it in it's handle right after. Needless to say, F.M. and Marshall were impressed. The glances they gave each other proved that. "I'll get some of the other fighters involved too.

F.M. was glad to have Sunshine on board, having been confident he'd want to help out. "Thanks Sunshine. I'll definitely owe ya one after this."

"Being able to test out my new sword will do just fine." Sunshine assured F.M., considering this new mission of his a win-win situation. "Let me know when the dragons and I should get there. We'll be ready."

"Will do. Thanks again." F.M. thanked Sunshine, and then she and Sunshine hung up with F.M. hi pawing Marshall in response to their successful recruitment.

Snow ran over to F.M. and Marshall, and her smile told them exactly what she thought was the case. "I knew Sunshine would be on board!"

"And he's already got a good shot at being prepared!" F.M. exclaimed with excitement, being just as happy as Snow was about Sunshine's assistance.

"We should get ready ourselves too. I think you said there was a four pup course you wanted as to try F.M.?" Marshall asked, knowing F.M. would be excited for that.

"Yep! So let's get Chase and master it as fast as we can!" F.M. responded in excitement before she ran off, signaling Marshall and Snow to follow her as she did. Marshall and Snow nodded to each other before following F.M. to find out what exactly this course was.

Meanwhile, Skye was flying towards the Adventure Bay stage in her helicopter, which she looked down at from her window. Sid and Arrby were there as well, and it looked like they were all setting up some kind of performance. This confused Skye, who decided to land near the stage. Once she did, Coral noticed her and smiled before running over to her helicopter. Skye hopped out and allowed Coral to hug her so she could as well. "Skye! I knew you'd come!"

"I'd never bail on you cuz." Skye assured Coral lovingly, and when they let each other go, Skye addressed what Coral, Sid, and Arrby, were doing. "But why are you setting up a show? That doesn't sound like something that could weaken Miranda's chances at winning."

"Maybe not. But it CAN attract her forces." Coral explained more when she and Skye walked up on stage together. "I may not be able to help out in terms of physical combat, but if there's one thing I can do the right way without fail, it's sing a beautiful melody that makes its way into everyone's hearts!" Skye liked where this was going as Sid lowered the microphone to her level. "Thanks Sid." She then tested the mic with a tap before finishing her explanation. "Once the Mer-Pups see how much Miranda hurt me, at least some of them have to join us!"

Skye loved that plan, especially since it meant Coral could help with the battle. "That sounds great Coral!" She then got worried about the Mer-Pups who Miranda will have warped the mindsets of by too much. "But there's still a chance that some won't change. Sure we'll be able to get some of them on our side, but there will still be a lot of Mer-Pups who don't."

"I mean, obviously then we take out the Mer-Pups who don't." Coral reminded Skye, knowing that this wouldn't be a battle that could evade certain death.

Sid tossed Arrby a treat and started petting him after he caught it. Once Arrby swallowed, he expressed excitement in seeing how this plan would unfold. "Coral started writing the song after the camping trip. She put her heart and soul into the lyrics!"

"That sounds like something Zuma would do too." Skye commented, and then she smirked to Coral as she pointed out something about her timing. "You also want to vent to Miranda about what she did to you. Don't you."

Coral giggled a bit before assuring Skye that she would also be counting the others Miranda has hurt. "The actions that hurt your friends will be acknowledged too."

F.M., Marshall, Snow, and Chase were training together with all four of them participating in a tough looking speed course. This was a capture the flag course with several different obstacles lingering in the area. From laser wires to trap tiles, there were plenty of obstacles here to make it clear that just rushing to the flag wouldn't do you any good.

F.M.'s attempt involved her blazing past the laser beams. She felt that would be the best for her to do, since she was the smallest of the four Canines doing the test. She also had to deal with making sure she didn't land on the wrong platform, which she would have to do by guessing. Or, tapping the nearest platform she could to see if it was safe. She had to do it quickly however, since she was on a time limit.

For Marshall, he was doing the part of the test that required the least amount of coordination: Sneaking past guards at the perfect moments with high speed movements. He was doing surprisingly well, most likely due to the training he received from Chase in the field of stealth. He almost got caught by the third one, but managed to evade him. He then jumped off of a rock and hid behind a rock that the fourth one was next to before scouting ahead for the flag.

Snow's portion of the test had her dealing with the trap tiles at a fast pace. She was handling that in her own way, which she demonstrated when she grabbed some knives from her belt. She threw one to a platform that stuck and readied her jump, landing on it with just the right amount of speed and force. She did so with another one that broke, and when she hit the one away from it, it stayed up, leading to her jumping to that one next.

As for Chase, he was on the side of the course that involved taking down some guards as quickly as possible. He was almost at his deadline of taking down a hundred soldiers, and he slammed one's head into the wall before kicking one back at full force. He then grabbed the punch of another soldier and spun him around, knocking out the next five with ease. This led to him reaching the maximum one hundred within three minutes after taking down the last one. Chase was proud of himself, but he knew the Mer-Pup soldiers would be harder than this.

The four pups made their way to the flag after finishing their trials, and F.M. and Marshall especially demonstrated their speed by running as fast as they could. They both set their sights on the flag, and Marshall even managed to gang up on F.M. as they chased the flying flag. He nodded to F.M., who gave a smirk before speeding up just a little more than Marshall, showing that she was holding back. It was clear that she had reached double the speed she ran from her test before her PupLantis trip with Snow and Skye. Marshall even tripped and fell on his face because of how shocked he was.

F.M. ran as fast as she could towards the flag, setting her sights on it and holding her paw out right before she grabbed it. Once she did, the timer went off, declaring her the winner of the game. She stopped running and caught her breath for a bit before Marshall, Snow, and Chase ran over to congratulate her. She started cheering after only five seconds of breath catching. "Yes! This totally proves I've gotten faster!" F.M.'s joy brought the same to Marshall, Snow, and Chase. It was clear she was able to show excitement in her usual way once again.

At Katie's place, Rocky, Charm, and Moby were now in Moby's room as Charm sharpened his knife, and Rocky and Moby worked on a drone of some kind. Charm showed curiosity in the drone before, so Rocky explained what it was to him as he sharpened his knife. "So this way, Moby can throw some of the Mer-Pups off with the drone, and he won't even have to leave his room."

"Clever." Charm complimented, and then he challenged them by asking about another setback the drone couldn't stop. "But what happens if they arrive at Katie's home?"

"You know how I had you punch my new door on the way here?" Moby asked, and as Charm looked at the door, there was a part of the door that was just slightly pushed to the inside of the room. What Moby said next revealed that this was at full strength. "If that's all you can do, then the Mer-Pups can't get in no matter what they do."

Charm loved the sound of that, sharpening up his blade some more and holding it up to his tongue as he commented on how the battle would go down. "Sounds like Miranda should get ready for blood."

Rocky and Moby hi fived Charm in agreement before Rocky asked him about one more thing. "Now Charm, I know it's only been three days since you accepted your demon blood. It might still be hard to control it well enough to keep yourself in check." Charm saw where Rocky was going with this, and Rocky held Charm's paw with the knife as he made him an offer. "In between other things, let's work on your ability to focus on WHY you're killing. That way, you can tell yourself in time for the big battle."

Moby showed a liking to that idea when he encouraged Charm to go through with it. "You can even have me around during those lessons Charm. I won't even have to be near you when you're doing any fighting."

"Okay, but if you get hurt during these lessons, you head inside." Charm advised, and as he placed the paw on his desk, he showed a sign of the bloodlust he now directed towards those who sought to do bad. "The only Mer-Pups I'M taking the lives of are the ones who set me off."

Moby chuckled a bit before patting Charm's shoulder to show that he was still happy to be his friend. "This side of you might take some getting used to being around." Charm shrugged nonchalantly, showing that he was finally comfortable in his own skin.

Zuma was by the beach as he held some kind of gadget that looked like a sonar, one that would obviously have some extra features added to it. He turned it on and sent it off in the direction of PupLantis. Once he did, he took out his Pup-Phone and started tracking where it was going. Everest took notice to this as she returned from telling some of the townspeople what to do for shelter. "Hey Zuma. Is that the sonar Rocky made for you? I heard you talking about that during our camping trip."

"Suwe is. We'll totally be on the alewt for when the Mew-Pups come." Zuma answered, and then pressed a button on his phone that made the Sonar turn invisible. He was clearly proud of Rocky as he expressed joy in how useful it was. "He even planted it with a fowce field so they can't damage it. I love him so much."

"I know you do." Everest replied with a smile before kneeling down to the water to feel it with her front paw. After she did, she laughed a bit, which caught Zuma's attention. After a bit longer, Everest expressed something funny about Snow's name. "Kinda funny that I named my sister after the frozen form of water."

Zuma took a moment to think about that, and then he laughed a bit in response upon doing so himself. "Yeah. It is." Zuma then moved to a picture of him with Gabe, Celeste, and Melody. His sights were especially set on Melody, who he wanted to protect the most of all. Everest saw this and understood Zuma's feelings completely, knowing what it was like to want to protect a younger sibling. Zuma took a moment to calm down when he started fearing the worst for Melody. After doing so, he smiled, putting the picture away after composing himself.

Zuma expressed his desire to protect his parents, and especially Melody, when saying her full name. "Melody, Emily, Thowne." He then looked at Everest when declaring himself ready for next week. "They won't touch her Evewest. Not on MY watch." Everest smiled in response with herself and Zuma looking out to the ocean before Zuma looked back at his Sonar. It was very close to PupLantis, meaning that Rocky and Zuma's plan with it was very likely to be successful.

Claw was at Sweetie and Caiohme's house as he helped them ready themselves in case the battle got too serious. He was seeing them off on the family's private jet, which was parked in the backyard. He expressed love for them both as he wished them the best in their time back home. "Until you get back, I'll be thinking of you both the most out of everything on my mind."

Caiohme smiled when rubbing Claw's head, showing that she was confident he would make it out of this alive. "And we'll be thinking about you until we can come back home."

Claw noticed that Sweetie was trying not to show too much emotion out of fear of crying. She wiped her tear to stop herself as Claw looked at her with concern. "You know I'm an ugly crier." Claw laughed a bit at the mention of that, and Sweetie then took his paws as she gave him some last advice before leaving, just in case. "Before this battle begins, take every chance you can to reach closure. Tell Coral how you feel, show our friends how much you care, and do what you can to protect Adventure Bay. You deserve the best live possible after this."

"Thanks Sweetie. I'll bare that in mind." Claw said gratefully, and then he became curious about Sweetie's stance on one pup in particular. "I should also ask you before I leave. How do you feel about Charm after all we've been through lately?"

Sweetie had to think for a moment about that question. She certainly didn't hate Charm anymore. At worst, she was annoyed by quirks he shared with some of her other friends. And Claw seems to have warmed up to him a lot in recent time. Out of everything, the fact that he wasn't a threat in Claw's eyes anymore helped the most. "Well... he's learned quite a lot. And he's put up with me." Sweetie smiled, knowing Claw would be satisfied with her answer. "I think I can at least feel safe around him now."

Claw was happy to hear that now that he and Charm were close to becoming friends. Sweetie saying this made him feel even more confident in that happening. Whether it did before the battle, or after it, Claw could tell it was a strong possibility. He hugged his sister and owner one last time before letting them head off. "Stay safe you two." He then made a jab at Sweetie regarding a quick she, ironically, also shared with him, and some of their friends. "And try not to clear out the castle again."

"And YOU try not to quarantine our house while we're gone." Sweetie jabbed back, and then Claw released them and allowed them to fly off. He waved goodbye to them, and they waved goodbye back at him. He showed a smile, but once they were far away enough, he started shedding tears upon turning around. A part of him was clearly scared about how this battle would go. And because of this, he decided that now he would take Sweetie's advice, which he sought out to do upon walking off.

Back at Sid and Arrby's ship, Coral was rehearsing the song lyrics she wrote down in her room. "The worst day of my life... was when you took me in after I lost them." She heard a knock on her door after rehearsing that set of lyrics, and she got up to see who it was. "Coming!" Coral answered the door, and she was pleased to see Claw standing there. "Oh, hi Claw! What brings you here?"

"I'm certain you know about the battle too?" Claw asked, and Coral nodded her head yes to confirm this. Claw then took Coral's paws and looked directly into her eyes. "I have something I need to tell you."

Coral had a good feeling about this, but she was also somewhat nervous. Regardless, she decided to let Claw say what he had to say. "What is it?"

Claw gulped to keep his nerves down before he got to confessing his feelings to Coral. "I know this may seem obvious after our double date with Chase and Skye, and the fact that I already asked you out, but just in case, I want to tell you this directly." Coral listened closely and Claw continued expressing his feelings. "Obviously, I never approved of you using Skye or what happened to Wave. And I thought I'd be angry for as long as I have been with Charm. But amazingly, I didn't feel any anger towards you when we met again. And I think I know why."

Coral hoped she knew where Claw was getting at with this, and he did his best to continue. "This had to do with what I felt towards you since we first met. These feelings were strong enough to help me believe that you weren't a bad pup. Misguided yes. but not outright evil." It was then and there that Claw told Coral exactly how he felt. "Coral... I..." He admittedly choked a bit before admitting in fast talking. "Iloveyouyou'rethemostbeautifulpupI'veevermetandIwanttoembraceyouforever!"

Claw winced after finishing those words, and Coral thankfully understood what he said. To prove it, she smiled and leaned in close, kissing him to show that she reciprocated his feelings. After getting to know him, and taking his advice from the double date, she felt confident in believing that she shared Claw's feelings. The kiss lasted for five seconds, and then they kissed again for five more seconds when Claw pulled Coral in. Afterwards, Coral made an offer to Claw that the Doberman couldn't refuse. "So. You wanna, maybe, listen to my song rehearsal?"

"I'd absolutely love to." Claw responded, closing the door behind him after entering the room to see what Coral had cooked up.

Skye was looking at the same family photo album she showed Snow a while back; specifically the pictures of her and Coral. The first one showed them as babies with Coral's Mer-Pup toys, and they were fighting over who got to play with the Queen. Skye laughed at that memory before looking at the picture of them watching a musical together on TV. Skye always hoped Coral would get to go to a musical in person one day. After that, she started laughing at the third picture, which was of the two of them having made a mess in Skye's kitchen.

Chase came into the room and saw Skye looking at her photo album. He decided to sit down next to her as he got a look at the photos. When she noticed him, which was instantly, she told him about the day the third picture took place on. "We were trying to make Amy breakfast in bed. As you can imagine, it didn't go well."

Chase laughed a bit, only being able to imagine how hectic that event must've been. "I have a pretty good idea of how it went."

Skye giggled a bit before turning the page, which showed the last memory she and Coral had together. This happened right before the attack in Starfish Cove took place. It broke Skye's heart to look at it. "This was before I planned to introduce you to her." The photo showed Coral being sick in bed, but still able to give a smile for Skye's photo. Skye couldn't help feeling horrible about everything that happened to Coral since then. "To think the day she recovered, became the worst day of her life."

Chase put a paw on Skye's shoulder to comfort her, and Skye took off her bandana, which was wrapped around her right ear. It was clear that even to this day, the fall of Starfish Cove deeply affected her. She then smiled as she reminded herself of where Coral was now. It may have been a hard life for her, but after seven tough years, Coral was getting the love and support she deserved. It made her more confident that she wouldn't lose her again. At least not until it was Coral's fated time. "Maybe if we survive this battle, she'll still be here."

"Well I'll tell you one thing for certain." Chase gave Skye a reassuring smile in regards to what he was gonna tell her. "I'll make absolute sure she survives."

Skye deeply appreciated that and allowed Chase to wrap his arm around her before she moved to an earlier page in the book. "Oh yeah! This is when I first started mimicking bird calls!"

"Oh nice. Coral and Amy really were there for everything." Chase said, having a bit of envy about Skye having a loving blood family, but still being extremely happy that she had a supportive upbringing.

It was getting late, and Charm was finishing up a journal entry as Moby sat down next to him on Katie's porch. Once he wrote down the last thing he wanted to say in said entry, he addressed Moby's curiosity over it. "I thought I'd put in one last entry before the battle. I won't have time to put one in before then."

"Smart. It should stand out as being the last one." Moby pointed out, and Charm put his journal away with Moby getting a question on his mind. This related to what Charm told him after Wave's funeral. "You said you were still figuring out who you wanted to be." Charm looked at Moby, who requested a follow up on that moment. "Have you figured it out yet?"

Charm's smile after receiving the question was enough to show Moby that it was a yes. But Charm knew he'd still want the specifics. "I want to be someone, who is mutually loved. I want to love the ones in my life..." Moby smiled as Charm finished his answer. "as much as they love me."

Moby was glad to hear that, especially since he could confirm he was someone that category fell into. "You already have that in me.

"I sure hope so." Charm responded hopefully, and then he and Moby looked out to the sea from the direction of Katie's porch. As Charm let the moment sink in, he had some words he wanted to share with Moby before it was too late. He showed remorse as he expressed this to him. "I've done a lot of bad things Moby. I've taken lives, traumatized others, I've even destroyed villages. I've hurt everyone I've interacted with. Except for you." Moby placed a paw on Charm's shoulder as his expression changed to determined. "I'm not going to let that happen."

Moby continued to listen with Charm stating exactly what he wanted to do after finally finding himself. "I felt crushed after learning about my demon blood, and how this sadistic side of me, wasn't even supposed to be mine. Even after my father stopped ordering me around, I still committed the sins you see now. And now that I know for certain that my demon blood can't hold me back from changing my ways. I'm going to keep doing everything I can to do so."

Moby showed joy in response to Charm's desire to keep improving himself day by day. "I know I'll never be as smart as Rocky, or as kind as F.M., or as down to earth as Zuma. I've embraced my dark side so much that reaching those levels might be impossible." Charm smiled when finishing what he wanted to say. "But after everything I've been through lately, and the support I've gained from Rocky, F.M., and the others over time, including you... I truly believe I can be good. And I think I'm finally starting to become the Canine I want to be."

Charm looked at Moby as he stated his finishing words. "I have no intention of ever taking that for granted." Moby couldn't be more proud of Charm, and the two of them continued to sit together as they looked outward some more. Moby gave Charm a proud smile during that, showing that the progress he made was something that even an outsider to his past could see. To be sitting there as best friends now, was the greatest gift both of them could ask for.

Later that night, F.M. and Marshall were getting ready for bed as F.M. was writing something down in a journal of her own. Marshall never saw this before, so he sat down on F.M.'s bunk after climbing up to see what she was doing. "Whatcha got there sis?"

"I'm just writing down the names of everyone we've managed to help find a better path." F.M. explained, and then he explained why so Marshall would understand. "This way, I can remind myself that I'm capable of helping others, even when I start to doubt myself." Marshall got a look at the list, and it consisted of the following:

Claw

Charm

Coral

Maybe some of the Mer-Pups, I'm still figuring that out.

F.M. also shared another page, which she explained to be part of a balancing tool. "And this is a list of the ones I've either failed to help, or can't be helped. This way, I'll know my limits and be able to remind myself of them." This list consisted of the following:

Slash

Miranda

Trickery

Nicky, at least from what Rocky and Zuma told me.

Some of the Mer-Pups, again; still figuring that out.

Marshall was glad to see that F.M. found a way to balance out helping others, and helping herself. "This could be really useful F.M.. Just know that if it's not, you'll always have us."

"I'd never forget that." F.M. assured Marshall, jumping down from her bunk and setting her journal in her drawer as she expressed gratitude in something Marshall did during Wave's funeral. It started off somber when she started talking about it. "I could've joined this list myself." Marshall was confused when F.M. said that, allowing her to climb back up as she explained why. "If I killed Miranda at mom's funeral, it would've been out of anger and bitterness. She was filled with that when she killed dad, and after she did, there was no coming back for her."

Marshall could tell that F.M. learned a lot from Miranda's actions. He didn't want her thinking she would ever grow up to be like her however. "I know you'd never go beyond the point of no return F.M.. You've never had a reason to. It's just not in you."

"I know. But it was still a choice Miranda had to make." F.M. stated, knowing that being evil wasn't something people were just born with, but rather it was the actions they committed. "She chose to be evil. Charm did too, but that was because of everything Slash and Trickery did to him. He didn't know he could be good until he learned why." Marshall took F.M.'s paw as F.M. then wrapped up her words of gratitude. "What I'm trying to say Marshall, is that you helped me cool off, and remember to kill Miranda because it saves others. Not for revenge."

F.M. smiled when looking at her brother, showing Marshall how much she appreciated him. "I never want to do something for the same reason Miranda did. And you helped me remember that. To keep being the best hero possible." Marshall smiled back as F.M. finished with full sincerity. "Thank you."

F.M. and Marshall hugged as Marshall's way of telling F.M. 'You're Welcome'. They were both overjoyed to see that even after everything they've been through in the past three years, their bond hadn't lost an ounce of the strength it had back home. Even as they were going into war in one week, they were still able to express their sibling love for each other as clearly as they wanted to. And it gave them the extra strength they needed to go into the battle, to protect the ones they love, and help everyone they can find a life that makes them happy.

To be continued.

Rock music played as F.M. started speaking in regards to what was going to happen with specific moments from the next chapter being shown. "This is it. The big battle against Miranda and her Mer-Pup army. I'm hoping this song Coral has planned will be able to convince some of them to stop listening to her. Okay, when the heck did she have time to get tanks!? Haha, nice one Chase! Moby's drone is helping a lot too! And Sunshine got some of the dragons to come! I knew he'd come through!"

F.M. finished the announcement with the words Paw Patrol in all blue with red outlines surrounded with a white border with F.M. on the right, and Marshall on the left. "Next time, Land Vs Sea Part One! (Chase is shown dodging a sea tank shot that explodes behind him, and he then rushes for the tank with a grenade in his paw) Let's see how Miranda handles a change in her confidence!"
