Chapter 3:
Romeo and Benvolio arrive at the ball. "This is a bad idea," says Romeo.
"With these masks on, no one will know we're werewolves," says Benvolio.
"Romeo, Benvolio, what are you doing," asks Mercutio.
"Okay, Mercutio would know," says Benvolio.
"Benvolio thinks this will help me get over Rosaline," says Romeo.
"Well, I don't even know what you see in her," says Mercutio, "the only one who's worst is Tybalt!"
"He nearly killed me if it weren't for your cousin," says Benvolio.
"I know, right," asks Mercutio, "well, you guys might as well mingle."
...
Tybalt tastes the punch and spits it out. "Who spiked the punch with garlic," asks Tybalt...
Mercutio snickers. It was him.
...
Juliet was walking with Angelica. "I'm not very good at parties," says Juliet.
"You need to get out more and not just for a bite," says Angelica.
"I still say that blood would make good lipstick," says Juliet.
"I think that's a disturbing thought," says Angelica.
...
Romeo sees Rosaline and looks away, but then he sees Juliet. He was mesmerized by her beauty. He then walks towards her. "Hi," says Romeo.
"Hey," says Juliet, "I like your costume."
"Thanks," says Romeo, "I'm a dragon."
"Wow," says Juliet, "I'm a zombie bride... but I think I'm offending the actual zombies."
The zombies are offended.
"Wanna dance," asks Romeo.
"Sure," says Juliet.
The two then shared a dance.
Chorus: The day is the wife whom I elude
The one to whom I should be right
Although forewarned by peers and kin
I always get into the night
Mother always warned me such
Being a nocturnal soul
Besides just being simply strange
Spawns from some illness of the mind
But the night
She calls me
She calls me
She calls me
She calls me
She sways in her velvet dress
And pulls me toward her in the dark
While the others rest
While the others rest
While the others rest
Heed the call the time has come
For you children of the night
Gather 'round like suckling dogs
Mother's come she is the night
Come with me to the other side
Make the girl in black your bride
'Cause the night
She calls me
She calls me
She calls me
She calls me
She sways in her velvet dress
And pulls me toward her in the dark
While the others rest
While the others rest
While the others rest
I've seen the light
Coming through the blinds
I close my eyes
I don't care if you think it's wrong
I'm gonna sleep all day long
The sun goes down: This is my wakeup call
This just seems very strange to me
That her quiet lonely streets
Draped in all the mystery
Could be so sweet and comforting
But the night
She calls me
She calls me
She calls me
She calls me
She sways in her velvet dress
And pulls me toward her in the dark
While the others rest
While the others rest
While the others rest!
Tybalt sees who Juliet's dancing with and thinks, no big deal, but then he sees Romeo's wolf tail and knows that that couldn't be part of a dragon costume!
...
Tybalt goes to Lord Capulet. "Uncle, there are werewolves here! We must do something!"
"Do what, Tybalt? You want to lose who you are and become a human?"
"But..." Tybalt was not amused.
...
As they dance, Juliet decides she wants to see Romeo's face, so she takes off his mask and sees he's a werewolf and she's so shocked, her fangs come out and Romeo sees she's a vampire! The two then both run.
"Romeo," calls Benvolio.
"Juliet," calls Angelica.
