"Wow, Marinette, your sure putting it away," Adrien grins in amusement. I look up, pancake dangling from my mouth, then hurriedly stuff it in. "I'm hungry," I try to say, though I'm sure its lost in translation.

Both Adrien and I have been working non-stop, and now that fashion show is over, we can turn our attention to the wedding. The wedding invitations have been sent out, and I'm so excited. Adrien apparently pulled some strings, and we're having the wedding at Notre Dame, and a big bonfire afterwards. My dress is almost complete, though after breakfast, I'm heading back into work.

"Relax, Marinette, we have plenty of time." "I know, I just get so stressed if I leave things to the last minute." He finds my hand. "You need help with anything?" "Just be the best fiance a groom can be."

His green eyes are mischievous and playful. "So, catnap?" "No, you have things to do!" "I'm going to be glad when all of this is over," Adrien takes a deep swig of his coffee. I lean forward, lowering my voice. "Simon doesn't know this yet, but after I leave, he's got my job."

My company is of course invited, and I let the team know they can have free reign at work to make their outfits with no costs, if they so desire. This news came with excited squeals, and I felt a fizz of happiness.

My phone buzzes and I stand. "I'll see you tonight for pizza and Netflix, right?" Despite our hectic schedule, we're still spending evenings together. "I thought I was making pasta." I give him a soft kiss. "Pick up what you need, and I'll cook the food. No fires before the wedding day!" "Right, just bonfires. See you tonight, Princess!"

"Goodbye my Prince!" Okay, I'm hamming it up a little, but Adrien seems to enjoy it. Makes me wonder sometimes why Gabriel didn't let him be a drama kid.

I love working on my dress, and once I get into the rhythm of sewing, I calm down. At lunch, I eat a peanut butter sandwich and milk, and its back to business.

That night as I cook, Adrien tells me stories about his meeting with the florist. "I love buying you flowers, but she had like three hundred varieties and all I wanted was roses, buttercups, and bluebells!"

"Careful what you wish for. You could plant me a flower on our island and it could be a ladybug-eating Venus fly-trap!" Adrien pales. "I didn't think of that. I'd be so lonely." "Thanks," I lean over to give him a kiss as I stir the red sauce and then catch the twinkle in his eye. "What?" "I'd be lonely and starving with no food to eat!"

"What are going to when we have Emma and I'm moaning away in bed?" "Oh, I'm sure I'll think of something." "Well, think later, cause dinner's ready."

I accidentally fall asleep during the movie, but I'm so tired these days. I just hope I'm not wearing myself out to much.

Several weeks later….

Its my wedding day. I yawn and stretch as the thought washes over me. I'm marrying Adrien Agreste today, and going to live on a island. With these thoughts circling my brain as I shower and dress, I begin to feel the nerves. But everyone has nerves today, right?

No day is left without coffee, and I head immediately over to the church. Sophia and Grace are my helpers today, and first is hair.

"Don't worry, Marinette, Adrien won't be able to take his eyes off you when you come down the altar," Grace says. "Yeah, but what if I do a face plant? Maybe I don't want that." she brushes out my silky hair gently. "That won't happen. Remember, one, two three!"

How good these girls are to me, and I feel a big lump in my throat. Maybe there's still a way to make it work….

This is it, I tell myself. Its time to walk down the aisle and marry the man of my dreams. Taking a deep breath, I nod and the double doors open. Everyone stands, and I feel myself flush pink as countless eyes stare upon me.

At first, I don't look at the eyes as I'm counting in my head, and its okay to go slow. But then, I catch a glance of Adrien, and the shyness and awkwardness burns away, and I almost sprint down the aisle.

The tradition of placing my hand into Adrien's, a tradition as old as the world, I feel home. He breathes in my ear, "You that excited to see me, Bugaboo?" I have to fight and fight hard not to burst into giggles.

But then we solemn up as our vows are said, and I'm crying along with my husband as we say "I do."

"You may kiss the bride," the minister says. I forget the time, the place, the hour as Adrien gathers me in his arms, at long last, we belong to each other. We faced so many adversities, even here at our own wedding, it feels surreal.

When Adrien turns me to the crowd, a joyful smile spreads across my face as applauds ripples around the room.

"Are you sure you want me to dance with you, in these heels?" I ask, as Adrien and I start the first dance. "Hm," he stares down at my white shoes. "High heels can be dangerous, but I'll keep you safe." "Don't divorce me if you come away from the wedding without a toe." Adrien laughs.

I grow bolder, and cuddled into his arms, and we're in our little bubble of happiness. This day is going by in a blur, and when start back towards our table, a voice clears their throat.

"Ladybug, Cat Noir, a moment, please?" Adrien and I look at each other, and follow the small mysterious man, after transforming away from the public eye.

Then I recognize him. "Master Fu?" He smiles. "Yes, Ladybug. I have seen many Ladybug and Cat Noir marriages, but none as beautiful as yours. A humble gift to visit your family and friends, and it saves Marinette's dilemma."

I pinch the lid on the velvet box, finding a Miraculous nestled in the bedding. "The Horse Miraculous lets to step through portals taking you anywhere in the world. Use it wisely, and good luck."

I look to thank Master Fu, but like magic he has disappeared without a trace. "Thank you," I whisper on the night air as we head back to party. I vow to only use it for the greater good.
