Chapter 10: Kappa Mikey and Guano:

This chapter takes place during the Digimon Emperor Arc

It's the Adventures of Kappa Mikey and Guano. By the Power of Amaterasu. Kappa Mikey and Guano fight against the forces of evil.

"Oh no," says a bad guy, "it's the Kappa Tornado!"

The Kappa Tornado beats the bad guy.

Patamon and Armadillomon cheer.

"Come, Guano," says Patamon, "there is much work to be done."

"Super Saiyans, Kappa Mikey," says Armadillomon, "Ah'm right behind ya."

Patamon and Armadillomon then sneak around and see Veemon sleeping.

"Kappa Mikey and Guano spot the sinister villain, The Grim Sleeper."

Patamon then gets out two donuts.

"Donuts," says Armadillomon.

Patamon and Armadillomon then put the donuts together, but Armadillomon has taken a bite out of his.

"Kappa Mikey and Guano unite!"

Patamon and Armadillomon then tackle Veemon, who then gets so angry, he chases them, and they hide in Tai and Kari's place.

"Playing Kappa Mikey and Guano again," asks Kari.

"The Grim Sleeper has found us," says Patamon.

"What would the real Kappa Mikey do," asks Armadillomon.

"Well, you can ask him," says Kari, "he's at the retirement center down the street."

"He must be working undercover," says Patamon.

"SSSSSuuuuurrrrreeeee," says Kari, who can tell where this is going, "you guys might wanna go the back way, so Veemon doesn't rip you apart."

Patamon and Armadillomon then put the donuts together again, but Armadillomon takes another bite of his.

"Kappa Mikey and Guano reunite!"

...

Patamon and Armadillomon are at the retirement center, where they go to the front desk.

"We're here to see Kappa Mikey and Guano," says Patamon, "we know they're working undercover."

"Right, follow me."

Patamon and Armadillomon then follow the caretaker and see Kappa Mikey and Guano.

"Armadillomon, can you believe it," asks Patamon.

"Kappa Mikey and Guano."

"Don't surprise them," says the Caretaker.

Patamon and Armadillomon then block the TV.

"Hey, who are those guys," asks Guano.

"Are they here to fix the TV," asks Kappa Mikey.

"Are you Kappa Mikey and Guano?"

"Well, we used to be," says Guano, "but now we're retired."

"You can't retire," says Patamon, "not when there's evil afoot."

"Evil," says Kappa Mikey, who then freaks out and attacks a drinking fountain, "EVIL!"

"I just said there was evil afoot."

Kappa Mikey then continues to act crazy and the Caretaker kicks Patamon and Armadillomon out.

"Wow, can you believe we met Kappa Mikey and Guano," asks Patamon.

"Yep, too bad they're old," says Armadillomon.

"What do you mean, Armadillomon? Old people are the greatest. They're full of wisdom and experience."

Master Roshi gives a thumbs up.

"The world needs Kappa Mikey and Guano. Someone, somewhere, is in trouble, and I won't rest until Kappa Mikey and Guano are out of retirement."

Then, fireworks appear.

"Those are some perty lights," says Armadillomon.

...

Kappa Mikey and Guano are in the cafeteria.

"To the meatloaf," says Kappa Mikey, "to the broccoli! To the table, away!"

"Careful, don't run."

When Kappa Mikey and Guano get to their table, Patamon comes.

"Oh, look, it's the TV repairman."

"Kappa Mikey and Guano, there is just something I wanna say."

"Careful, Guano, he might be up to something," says Kappa Mikey.

"Do you remember the time the food supply in Tokyo was running low? So, you invented a ray that makes things grow six times their size to shoot at the gardens. But then the evil Gonard swoops down and swipes the gun away and shoots all the ooze. And then he glops on the dome and starts sucking on the glass."

"What's your point, kid," asks Guano.

"You guys are the greatest heroes of all time and I think you should come out of retirement."

"Listen, villain," says Kappa Mikey, "I wanna eat my meatloaf. If you don't get out of here, then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife."

"What's going on here," asks the Caretaker.

"You may kiss the bride."

Patamon is then knocked all the way back to TK's, where Armadillomon is.

"Did y'all get them out of retirement?"

"No, but I'm married."

"Does Gatomon know about this?"

...

Kappa Mikey and Guano are in their rocking chairs.

"Up, up and away," shouts Kappa Mikey, "up, up, and away!"

Patamon arrives, dressed as an old lady.

"This purse sure is heavy," Patamon says.

"Ah'll take that," says Armadillomon, dressed as a burglar.

Armadillomon then takes the purse and runs.

"HELP," shouts Patamon, then an annoyed Guano comes by, "are you going to help Lil' ol me?"

"Will you cut that out," says Guano, "you could wake Kappa Mikey and he's ornery when his nap is disturbed."

Patamon then walks over to Kappa Mikey. "Ever alert, Kappa Mikey has trained himself to sleep with his eyes open."

"Confound it, get away from him," Guano shouts.

"Stop shoutin,' I'm nappin!"

"IT'S NOT ME, YOU OL' COOT!"

"Yes," says an old woman.

"That's me," says an old man.

"I'm over here," says Master Roshi.

Kappa Mikey and Guano then start arguing.

"Excuse me," says Patamon.

"What do you want," asks Kappa Mikey.

"This better be good," says Guano.

"This'll cheer you up," says Patamon, "we're almost done painting the Invisible Gundam."

"It's supposed to be invisible," says Guano, "That's it. We gotta get out of our life of leisure. It's time to come out of retirement. There's evil afoot."

"EVIL," shouts Kappa Mikey, "where is it?"

"There." Guano points to Patamon and Armadillomon.

"You know what this means?" Guano then gets out two rings.

"Donuts," says Kappa Mikey.

Guana then puts a ring on Kappa Mikey's hand, and they try to unite the rings but keep missing until they finally got it.

"Say the oath," says Guano.

"Kappa Mikey and Guano Unite," says Kappa Mikey in a younger sounding voice.

Guano is surprised and happy.

"Let's use the Kappa-Mayaya," says Kappa Mikey.

"The Kappa-Mayayaya," says Patamon and Armadillomon, happily.

Kappa Mikey and Guano fire, but they miss.

"He dodged it like some kind of evil cartoon thingy."

Kappa Mikey and Guano then run around the two.

"It's the Kappa Tornado," Patamon and Armadillomon, happily.

The Kappa Tornado fails.

"Those fiends," says Kappa Mikey, "they enjoyed it."

"Do it again! Do it again! Do it again!"

"Now what, Kappa Mikey, we need help."

Kappa Mikey and Guano then get out their Celestial Spirit Keys.

"Open Celestial Gate!"

The Celestial Spirits arrive, but because this is a comedy, they're also old.

"The Celestial Spirits, seem to have lost some of their luster," says Guano.

"Celestial Spirts, attack," shouts Kappa Mikey.

The Celestial Spirits then carry Patamon and Armadillomon away.

"We did it, Armadillomon."

The Celestial Spirits then throw them away.

"I did it," says Kappa Mikey, "I feel young again. It's good to be back."

"We did it, you ol' coot," says Guano, shaking his hand.

"Who are you?"

The New Adventures of Kappa Mikey and Guano. We join our heroes in a battle of wits.

(They're playing checkers)

Kappa Mikey moves a black checker piece. Pow!

Guano moves a red checker piece. Clack!

Kappa Mikey then moves a black checker piece. King Me!

The phone rings.

"It's the Kappa Phone," says Kappa Mikey, who then answers it, "yes Chief? Hello? Hello? The phone's broken again. Remind me to g-get that fixed."

"Remind you to what?"

"Remind me to what? What?"

Will our heroes ever get their phone fixed? Tune in next week and find out.

"Wow," says Patamon, "that was even better than the old show."

"And it's all thanks ta you," says Armadillomon.

Patamon then winks at the screen.

Wink!
