Hey! I am super excited for you to read this fanfiction! This was inspirired by another fanfiction i had read way back when. I hope you enjoy the edited version as much as the original! And so i present you with an updated version of A Scar of Memories!

Prologue : :...:One Day:...:

They say memories always last a lifetime yet when it had came to hers it was the complete opposite. Her memories always in the wind and never sticking to anything even to the items she had carried with her daily. Ever since she was a child everything seemed very bleak. Tenten could barely even make out who her parents were even at such a young age.

All the things in her life now felt unreal yet everyone said it had been a fact. Her being told she had grown up in this small town yet nothing seems familiar or like home. She would wonder the streets after school ended trying to remember her way home but it felt odd since her way home felt so foreign. No matter how many times she would round the corner to her home it felt all foreign to her.

Even the people in the home who claim to be her parents. Her mom, dad, and sister all felt foreign to her. Even though she has built a bond with them it just felt all out of place.

"So what is the answer Tenten?" The boy's voice had jolted her out of her thoughts as she was on the swings. A boy with short spikey hair standing before her in the school uniform they had all wore. "Answer to what?" She replied looking at him unsure what he was seeking and answer for.

"To the thing, i asked earlier today" He said his cheeks slowly flushing red. Her lips shaped an o realising what the boy had wanted. She stood up from the swings and firmly looked at him. She was not ready for the next step this boy had wanted. "I'm sorry Guo, I am just not interested" She said with the utmost dignity. She has not gotten many of the boys courting her due to her more tomboyish style. However when they do court her, it would usually end in rejection due to her uninterest in the men. He just gave her a look. "Huh? The most popular man in the school has asked you out on a date and you decline?" She just gave a nod. "Yes, i am declining. Now i have to head back." She said firmly. She walked around the man walking in the direction of her home.

"Wait, h-hear me out! Can you rethink this" He had said as he grab a hold of her wrist to pull her back. Before he could pull her back, a hand had seperated the two and pushed the man away. "What are you doing?" A soft voice had spoken to the man with a glare. "Xiao Yu! Am i glad to see you" Tenten said basically beaming at the girl who had pushed him away. Xiao Yu turned to Tenten and looked her up and down. "Are you okay?! I saw that man and thought you were getting kidnapped!" She said worried. Tenten gave a laugh and shook her head. "Im fine, He wasn't going to take me. " She smiled at her younger sister who looked worried.

Despite them being sister, thier features and personailities differed greately which made Tenten question everything of herself biologically but had always pushed it aside. "Are you guys just going to ignore me" Guo had said standing up from being pushed. Both girls gave an eye roll at the guy and turned to him. "I already gave you an answer, if you cannot accept it, thats a you issue. I really have to go now" Tenten had said before turning and walking away from the park. Xiao Yu had followed after giving the man a soft glare.

They both hurried back to the little village like area that they had lived in. It was a bit past thier curfew so she was worried they would get in trouble with their mother. She walked to the front of the house suprised to see her mother out front watering the plants to thier garden. Normally it would be the job of the gardener who had lived next door. They were never really rich but always asked the neighbors for favors since everyone had been very nice. "Did the gardener not come by today mama?" Tenten had walked in asking her mother. She wanted to deter the lady from the two sisters arriving late. Xiao Yu had slipped inside has Tenten had began speaking to her mother.

Mei had looked up from the garden and gave Tenten a stern look. "No but it seems you girls had a fun time outside since you had come back late. " She said as she placed the watering can on a nearby wrack she had made for the garden materials. " Sorry Ma'am, we had ran into a situation on out way back" Tenten said trying not to have her voice shake due to the fear of her mother's wrath. "Alright, i am glad you both were okay" She gave a sign before going back to tend the garden. "However it is the third time this week, if it happens more often some consequences will happen" Tenten gave a nod. "Yes ma'am i will keep that in mind" It was not out of orfinary for the girls to have proper manners at home. Most talk between her and her parents had became very proper as she grew older. "It seems Xiao Yu had already went inside, but you go and wash up before dinner." Mei had said before standing up after finishing up. She gave a nod and an okay before heading in. "Ah, Tenten?" Mei said with a small worry in her voice.

"Yes Ma'am?" Tenten said before turning to look at her mom who was walking the same direction. "After dinner is finished, father and i have something important to speak to you about." Mei said before walking inside of the house. "Yes ma'am" Tenten simply replied before heading inside as well. She walked up the stairs to her room with her thoughts racing.

She wasn't sure what her mother wanted to talk about, Was it about her grades, about how she has been out longer. Thought after thought raced through her head making her anxious. Just what was this important thing?
