…
In heaven high above amongst the clouds-and amongst the stars, there was somebody dying-no that wasn't quite the word. They were disappearing from this plane, they didn't exist in the first place. Their whole existence was a flunk-a glitch in the system, their name was Hakuno Kishinami, and they were inside of the core of the Moon-Cell.
A Supercomputer that was created from a civilization, a long alien civilization that seemed to all disappeared, leaving their only, their creation-The Moon-Cell. The Moon-Cell has been watching humanity since the very beginning, since the creation of Earth, it had watched and observed the beginning of life itself; it saw the dawn of humanity and how humanity grew from its infancy and challenged the world, and taken from the world-becoming their own masters of it.
…Yet the more they have taken, the less they had for themselves and soon enough-Humanity had no more to take, the only thing left they could have taken-was themselves. And so they did, they fought, killed and lost. Humanity has pushed their natural resources to the limit, there was not enough to go around anymore-Humanity would surely meet its end.
Yet the Moon-Cell did nothing, it only merely observed-never lifting a finger, watching the earth as it always did so being a spectator of it all; recording only and merely watching as it did so for the past millions or even billions years of its existence…until recently.
Recently it decided to finally change that, it finally decided to get more involved with humanity, wanting to learn more about this species, wanting to learn more about the life it watched. The Moon-Cell had hacked into all computers of the world on earth, deciding to invite humanity to itself.
The Moon-Cell had promised a wish, a wish it would grant to those who had accepted its invitation, a invitation to a tournament-where the winner would receive their innermost desires. In-exchange for all of this, The Moon-Cell will gain more knowledge on how humanity interacted up-closed in its own systems, recording further than it had previously done before. Perhaps... even understanding one soul..?
Those who would accept the invitation would be tested to see if they were worthy to be inside of The Moon-Cell in the first place, and if they had succeeded they would have become one of the many Masters that all wish to claim the wish of their own. One of these Masters was unlike the rest, they were the weakest of them all-yet despite all of that. They had fought now with their will, but with a desire-a desire to live.
…It was a tough seven weeks for them, killing to survive, denying those who would have a wish as well. But the Master known as Hakuno Kishinami had thrived and survived against the odds-now inside of the Moon-Cell core, as they waited for their ultimate fate-being erased. Being erased as they weren't truly alive, neither living or dead, their own existence was an error caused by the Moon-Cell, by winning they would get their wish-but in return, they would no longer be here to see it.
The Moon-Cell deemed them as an error, something to be erased-yet it was conflicted with itself. The Moon-Cell saw this Master had done what it asked, it had beaten the seven weeks, beaten all those who were against it-they were the strongest and certainly worthy to get their wish! But...it was a glitch from itself, not even a true human being. It wasn't from earth-it was from itself-so The Moon-Cell pondered to itself. Something it hasn't done since its very existence, it never needed too-but now?
It must.
So it searches its records, anything for this Master-it searches everything. Nothing seemed to have appeared-until?! It found a body, a body that was in stasis, a body that was in deep slumber. It matches the Digitalize Master body, The Moon-Cell tries brute forcing a connection between the two…
[FAILURE.]
Nothing-it couldn't do it, nothing work-The Moon-Cell if it did had any emotions, it would start to feel frustrated or perhaps sad by this news? It didn't matter, nothing could have been done to save the Winner of The Lunar Holy Grail War.
…Unless..
The Moon-Cell had done one final attempt, it decided to widen its search, going beyond its own universe and finding nothing until it did; it found the same body type as the one on in the core, slumbering too inside a pod.
The Moon-Cell will once again brute force a connection…
[SUCCESSFUL]
It had done it, it had made a connection; it would have quickly transferred the Master to that slumbering body..
IN A DIFFERENT WORLD, IN A DIFFERENT TIME-A DIFFERENT UNIVERSE.
A pod would have open, sizzling air as the sole occupation, would have slowly raised up from their slumber.
"...?" They would confusedly look around, finding themselves in what appeared to be in a…glass box? Were they in some form of jail-and what with that music playing?!
…Hey that music is rather calming actually! The person now listening and vibing with the music, would have glanced around the box they had found themselves in.
A toilet was there, the pod that had awakened from and-a simple clipboard; don't forget about the brown mug as well!
Everything was fairly calm and collected until a voice would ring out from above, a woman's voice was heard from within the glass box, Hakuno Kishinami could only listen to it, it was their only option at the moment.
"Hello.. and again welcome to the Aperture Science Computer-Aided Enrichment Center-"
Hakuno felt this was going to be a looong day.
