It was one crazy cruise. It wasn't as peaceful or as relaxing as everyone hoped. That storm caused two people to be lost out at sea. After that, two people were trying to sort through their feelings while another two were to figure out their feelings. T.K. and Mina ended up getting really close on that ship, but it might not matter anymore. Davis and Kari were able to rekindle their bond on the island, but that might be it. Once Davis and Kari were brought back to the ship, everyone was glad they were back. The thing is that a lot has happened between these people and they need to figure out where to go from here, especially since Kari and T.K. are dating and just ended up cheating on the other. What's more is that one has no idea about the other. Bottom line is that there's a lot to figure out. There'll be time for that now that they're back home. The cruise has come to an end and they were all back on the main lands.
"Standing on land is very different when it's not on an island." Kari said as she was glad to be home. All of them loaded off the cruise and were glad to be back.
"You said it. One of the best parts after a long trip is when you get to finally come home." Yolei said. "That's when you really feel relaxed. Ironic you feel that way at the end of a vacation."
"Whatever. I'm just glad to be home." Davis said. It was one crazy cruise, but at least it's all over. As they all boarded off, T.K. spotted Mina. Considering his new found feelings, he had to figure this out. Mina said she would just stay away, but T.K. doesn't really want that.
"Mina, wait!" T.K. called as he caught up to her. "Aren't you going to come back to the campus with the rest of us?"
"It's okay. I got a ride waiting." Mina said. She's trying to keep her end of the deal, but T.K. doesn't want things to end like this.
"You know, I... I haven't exactly made my decision." T.K. said. "Mina, I really did have a great time with you, but I don't know what to do about Kari now."
"It's your decision. I've helped you all I can." Mina said. "I really like you, T.K. I had a better time with you than I thought, but I'm afraid you're one your own this time." T.K. knows this is something he alone has to figure out. Now that he's done what he's done with Mina, what exactly is he going to do? Does he continue with Kari and keep what happened a secret or does he end things with her so he can be with Mina? He just isn't sure now.
"It's weird." Davis said as he stood with Kari. "After being on that island, things seem really different. Staying in nature feels different than it does in the city."
"But there aren't any distractions from anything important." Kari said as she reaffirmed how much Davis means to her now. However, now that they're back, Kari has to figure out what to do with her newfound feelings for Davis. What does she do about T.K.? Davis said nothing else could happen between them to avoid trouble, but is this really the right thing to do. Kari always held her feelings back, but maybe she shouldn't this time. "Davis, I think we should..." Just then, she heard honking and spotted a familiar car pulling up.
"Kari!"
"Kari!" She saw it was her family. After hearing that Kari has been found and rescued, her family couldn't wait to see her again. When Kari spotted her family, she hurried right over to them and was soon surrounded by their love and support. They were all glad to see her again and she was glad to be back. As she was caught up in that, she looked back at Davis and could tell he was happy for her. As for his family, he just now got a call from them and were saying they were coming to see him. Kari hates to see him go, but what is she going to do now?
...
Ken and Yolei
"Aw, do you really have to go so soon, Cody? You've been so busy lately that we don't get to see you that often." Yolei said as she and Ken were seeing Cody off. Now that the cruise is over, Cody has to go straight back to work so that he can become a successful lawyer one day.
"Sorry, but it's not easy becoming a lawyer. I going to be needed back at the firm soon." Cody said. "On top of that, I need to get ready for those big lawyer tests. I need to keep up the work if I'm going to make it."
"We understand, Cody. Besides, we can just meet up with you for ramen at Davis' restaurant, right?" Ken asked.
"Yeah. Although, something does seem off with the others." Cody said. "T.K. and Mina were acting rather strange just before Davis and Kari came back. Speaking of those two, do you think they're going to be okay? We don't know what happened to them on the island."
"I think you're worrying too much." Yolei said. "They're back now, and let's just be glad that everything worked out for the best. It could have been a lot worse."
"I think Yolei is right." Ken said. "Whatever really happened between them is not really our concern. We should just trust them. All we can really do is support them and understand, and when the time comes that they do want to talk about it, we'll be there. All of us have been through too much together to let something get between us." Ken had the same suspicions Cody did, and he might know what it might be. However, he trusts that everything will work for the best because Davis and T.K. care too much about their friends to let something get between them. Even though they're all growing up and going to be forming their own lives, Ken believes their friendship can still prosper.

The Campus
After a couple days to allow Kari and Davis spend some time with their families after a trying time, things were starting to return to normal. Those couple days also gave them all some time to think things over. T.K. returned to the campus to before heading home himself. He still has to figure out what to do about his situation. He can't lie to Kari, he doesn't want to lose Mina, but he doesn't want to hurt either of them. What is he going to do?
"T.K.? You in there?" He heard Kari knocking on his door.
"Yeah. Come on in." T.K. said with Kari opening the door. "How did you know where to find me?"
"I called your house, but your mother said you were here getting your things." Kari said. "Looks like another semester has come to an end. One more year to go and then we're entering the world ourselves."
"Yeah. Hard to believe." T.K. said. "We really owe Mina for getting us on there. It was a lot of fun. Too bad you and Davis missed most of it."
"Yeah, but we had our own little tropical paradise. It wasn't so bad." Kari said. Both of them are trying to be casual, but the guilt they were both feeling about their past actions is getting to them, and they don't even know what the other did. The truth is that they really cared too much about the other to lie or to keep secrets from the other. "T.K., there's something I need to talk to you about. There's something I need to tell you."
"I've got to tell you something, and mine is pretty important." T.K. said.
"I can't wait to say this." Kari said.
"You're going to have to." T.K. said. They kept going back and forth like that because they both felt like they really have to say this or they're going to explode.
"I cheated on you!" Both of them said at the same time and ended up shocked that they said the exact same thing like that.
"I think I need to sit down." T.K. said as he sat on his bed because he was that stunned. "Did you just say you cheated on me the same time I said I did the same thing to you?"
"Yeah..." Kari said as she wasn't expecting that. "You go first. It's pretty obvious who I was with. What about you? Was it Mina? Yolei had a feeling she might be into you."
"Yeah, it was." T.K. admitted. "When you and Davis disappeared, I was worried about you. I felt helpless because you were missing and I couldn't do anything to help you. You know how I hate that feeling. So, Mina did what she could to help me out. She tried to keep her mind off my problems."
"Did she hit on you?" Kari questioned.
"No, but we were caught in a couple situations together." T.K. said. "She and I have a few things in common, we got along rather well, had a lot of fun together, plus she looked so beautiful. Not that you're not beautiful! I... I don't know what it is. Something in me just sparked when I was with her. Before I even knew, I found myself drawn to her. There was like a passion between us, and although I do care about you, it got to the point where I just couldn't fight it anymore. She felt the same, and...we spent a night together. It was like fireworks Mina is unlike any other girl I've met. She and I just have a great connection. I feel like she really understood me. I know that applies to you, but there's something different with Mina."
"I think I understand." Kari said as she sat with him. "I'm not mad; can't be when I did the same thing with Davis, only it felt more blissful than fireworks for me. During my time on the island, I got to see Davis in a new light. I managed to understand how Davis felt about me better than I ever have, and came to regret how I was with him. I feel like I understand Davis better than I ever had. He... He means more to me than I realized. I've come to see him as someone I can really depend on. Knowing how he feels, seeing all that he's done for me, and seeing the kind of man he really is now; I just couldn't help but begin to fall for him myself. It also turns out I was right. He was bothered by our relationship, but it hurt him much more than I thought."
"So, are you breaking up with me so you can be with him?" T.K. said. "I'm sure he's glad to hear that."
"Actually, he was telling me to do the opposite of that." Kari said with T.K. surprised to hear that. "He didn't want there to be any trouble. He thought me doing something like that would bring that. That's why we promised each other that he would stay by my side no matter what if I stop looking back with regrets."
"But I did the same thing you did." T.K. said as this was a strange set of circumstances they're finding themselves in. "Kari, what are we doing? We're not acting like a couple."
"What do you mean?" Kari questioned.
"We should be angry at each other for being with someone else behind the other's back." T.K. said. "I don't know about you, but I was worried about you like you were anyone else, but you're not suppose to be. We were separated from each other only for a few days and ended up falling for someone else. What are we doing?"
"Yeah... Lately, things just haven't really felt any different when they should." Kari said. "It always felt like there was something missing between us. I think I now know what that might be: passion. Elation."
"You think?" T.K. said.
"It's the best way I can think of to put the feeling." Kari said. "I'm talking about a feeling towards someone where you care so much about them. You feel secure enough to be who you are, bring out another side of you that you love. I don't know how else to describe it. All I know it's suppose to be a feeling you get when you're with someone that you never want it to go away or end. A shared feeling that brings two people together that you feel like it will last forever."
"I think some say that might be love." T.K. said. Maybe that was it all along. As much as they enjoy being together, as much as they care about each other, they just don't love each other. Maybe it's too early to call what they had with Davis and Mina love, but they both know that they don't want it to end just yet.
"T.K., I did enjoy our time together. At the time, it seemed right." Kari said. "However, it feels different with Davis. I'm sure you feel the same with Mina. If that's how it is, maybe it's over between us. Maybe we're really just suppose to remain friends because turning a friendship into a real relationship should feel more natural. This doesn't anymore."
"It's been over. We're just now realizing it." T.K. said as they could finally see that now. They tried to make it work, but they just couldn't. They see it now that there's nothing there anymore to make a relationship really work. Kari worried how T.K. felt, but she could see him smiling. "Go. He's been waiting long enough." Kari was glad that this ended on good terms. She gave T.K. one more peck for being so understanding and went to the one she really wants. T.K. thought he should do the same.
...
Mina
Mina was at the campus herself and getting the last of her stuff together. She thought that once she finishes her last year here, she can transfer over to a veterinarian school. At least that way, she will save herself some heartache if T.K. decides to stay with Kari.
"Hey." T.K. said as he stood right at her door.
"Hey. Didn't think you knew where my dorm was." Mina said.
"I did a little searching." T.K. said as he closed the door. "I told Kari about what happened between us." He admitted with Mina surprised that he would. "Our time apart had us realize Kari and I just aren't right together anymore. What I feel for you is far different from her. Mina, I don't know what this is between us, but I want to know more. I want to give this..." "Oh thank god!" Mina heard all she needed to hear as she practically tackled him against the door and kissed him as passionately as she could.
"Why are you pants still on?" Mina said as she wanted to get straight to that love. T.K. really knows how to pick them.
...
Davis
As for Davis, he hit the soccer field once again. He would normally be kicking the ball out in frustration, but not this time. Soccer turned into a way for him to let out some anger and frustration, but he doesn't feel that anymore. He wants to clear his head, but he doesn't feel like this is going to help him this time. What does he even have to be frustrated about? As he tried to think of that, he saw a few fan girls trying to spy on him for they wanted to see him work.
"Oh brother..." Davis groaned as he went over to them. "What the hell?" He said as he figured he just role with it. "Can I help you girls?"
"Hi, Davis."
"We were wondering something."
"Do you think maybe you would like to..." Davis was about to give himself to a few floozies because he thought it was over with Kari, but then he felt himself be pulled away and was suddenly kissed by Kari. That was suddenly surprising.
"Sorry, girls. He's with me." Kari said. They were quite shocked to see that and just left them. "You weren't seriously considering going with them, were you?"
"Well... I was at least going to hear them... I just thought... Wait. Why did you do that?" Davis questioned.
"Because it's over between me and T.K." Kari admitted. "It turns out while we were away, he and Mina got rather close themselves. Davis, I know who I want to be with, and I want to be with you. You've always been there for me, so I want to be there for you now. Nothing is coming between us again." That's all Davis wanted to hear. At long last, he finally has it. The two of them kissed each other once as there is nothing preventing them from being together now. "Just one question."
"What?" Davis asked.
"You actually hooked up with Mina before? So, which one of us is actually better?" Kari said.
"I don't know." Davis teased. "After all, you and I didn't exactly go the whole way, and Mina likes to get a little crazy. So, maybe we might need to get a little crazy." Normally, Kari would have been flustered and a bit embarrassed, but with Davis, she's actually feeling bold and daring. She even gave him a wink to show she's going with it. Pulling her in for another kiss, the seas were going to get roused once again.
