Chapter 2 is here.

WARNING: I DO NOT OWN SWAN PRINCESS OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS.

That morning at Swan Lake, Odette, Derek and their adopted daughter Alise were having a picnic. Their animal friends, Poppin, Jean-Bob, and Speed were relaxing in the sun.

"Ahh, Zhis is zhe life, no?" Jean-Bob asked.

"I love a good day for a picnic." Poppin said.

"Yeah. I love picnics." Speed said.

"Odette, this is a good idea picking this spot." Derek said.

"Thanks, Derek." Odette said. "You and I always go to this spot."

"Mom, can I ask you something?" Alise asked.

"Sure?" Odette said.

"Did you ever miss your parents?" Alise asked.

"Of course I do. I never knew my mother after she died giving birth to me, but my father once said to me she was a kind woman. My father was a good man."

"Good parents, like Dad's parents." Alise said.

"I'm really glad Dad's alive and home. Mom was really happy for that." Derek said.

"Zhis is Zhe best day. No more evil wizards and witches, no more evil forces, and no more pirates." Jean-Bob said.

"But, I have a feeling that won't last for long." Odette was very concerned.

"Odette, the Forbidden Arts is gone. Rothbart, Clavius and Zelda are dead. The Kingdom is safe from dark forces." Derek said. What's the worst that can happen?"

Meanwhile, on her way to Swan Lake, Odile walked down the path with her hood on to hide her face. She then saw the family who were having a picnic, which makes Odile glare in anger.

"Look at them. Happy together. Makes me sick." she said with a sneer. "I can't wait to kill them once I become a god."

Then, Odile was thinking of a plan to get the blood from Odette in need for the merge between her and the Forbidden Arts.

"If I can blend in. I need a disguise, so she won't recognize me." she said.

She then when she waved her arms around, the yellow Power to Change glows around her, as she was about to transform. She turned onto an old hag. She picked up a mirror and looked at herself.

"Hm. No. That's gonna convince them I'm evil. I can't use this."

Odile then zapped herself and transformed into a man.

"Nope."

She zapped herself again and turned into a cat.

"That won't work either. There was this one cat that once helped Dad when he came back from the dead at the last Christmas."

Then, she zapped once more time, and she turned into a different woman with soft brown hair, and a peasant dress.

"Perfect. This disguise will sure work. Derek and Odette would welcome a peasant woman. I'll even take a little bit of that Swan Princess' blood in no time."

Odile started walking down the path to the castle.

"It pains me to see my old castle in a sunshining, cutey estate. Dad and I liked it dark and gloomy. I even loved gothic stuff." she said.

Then, she was startled by a carriage, she jumped back and fell on her bottom. The carriage stopped as Chamberlain and Bridget who were driving it saw the peasant girl.

"Hey, why don't you watch where ya…" Odile as the peasant girl recognized Briget who used to work for her father, and Chamberlain. She makes a friendly face. "Uh, sorry I was in the way. I didn't expect you to be here."

"No, it's my fault. I didn't see you, my dear." Chamberlain said.

King Maximilian and Queen Uberta opens the carriage and saw the girl.

"Are you hurt, child?" Uberta asked concerned.

"Oh, no. No. I'm all right, Your Highness." the peasant girl said.

"What is your name, young lady?" Maximilian asked.

"My name? Uh…" Odile tried to think of a fake name, then it popped. "Alexis, Your Majesty."

"Well, Alexis, are you lost?" Uberta asked.

"No, I'm on my way to Swan Lake." Alexis said.

"Why don't you come with us. That's where we're going." Maximilian said.

"Oh, of course. I love to." Alexis said happily.

"Hey, uh, have we met?" Briget asked.

"Uh, I'm not sure we have." Alexis said before she entered the carriage.

The carriage resumed to ride to the castle at Swan Lake.

So, Odile disguises herself as a peasant girl to trick Derek and Odette. Will they find out who she really is? We'll soon find out on the next chapter.
