Chapter 2: Closure

The ringing of the clocktower's bell came as usual with the end of the class, footsteps of young humans and monsters rushing to play and hang out with their friends soon follows.

A Valkyrie absentmindedly glides across the hall of the academy, despite coming on her own accord, she couldn't remember why she was even there.

'Even after all this time, it still baffled me…'

When she saw all of them happily living together like that, it makes her questions everything she has ever believes.

All those times where she would follow orders given to her by the Goddess, every monster she had felled – the discrimination she had shown no longer filling her with pride. It felt like there's a pit in her stomach.

'Perhaps it would be best if I just-'

Crashing into someone knock her out of her thought.

"Woah! Sorry about that!" Infront of her stood a short man wearing a blue suit, a golden emblem of the academy was pinned to its chest, his hair a bit longer than they used to be and a red tie that look too big for him. His words suggest a friendly character, yet his posture is one who has fought battles, looking over, she saw that it was non other than the Headmaster himself.

Her eyes narrowed, 'Has he been watching me?'

Considering who she is, this man has every right to be worried for his students. This only further her will to exit the academy.

The violet-hair man looked her over before giving a small smile, "Have you come for a tour? It's good to know that it worked." It turns into a grin as he finished. There wasn't any aura of deceit or resentment that she could make out and it only confuses her.

"I did, it was…" how do you tell someone you just met that your entire life has turn upside down and it's giving you an existential crisis? "Very informative."

"Well, I'm glad to hear that miss!" Either he didn't realize her growing discomfort or he's choosing to ignore it, either way, she appreciated it.

"… I should be going now."

"Oh, you're leaving already? Have you seen the art room yet? It's wonderful."

"N-no I wouldn't wish to intrude on anything."

"What? No way, I'm sure they would love to have you!" He encourages her.

"Would that be wise?" She nervously asked the hero, "What if they all felt anger by my presence?"

At this, the violet-hair man wore a stern expression and said, "If any of the students here have ever learn anything, it's that you should never judge someone base of their appearance." Gesturing around him, his gaze softened, "I made this place for everyone to feel like they belong, after all."

At that moment, she could see how this man manages to achieve his accomplishment. The look she was giving him must've been common, as the man simply continue to patiently smile at her.

"I… will consider those words hero." A small feeling grew in her chest, one she hasn't felt in a while.

"Glad to hear that! Now… what was I doing again?" Thinking to himself, the Headmaster of Andromeda Academy went frozen still as he remembered.

"That's it!" his outburst surprises her before he ran past the Valkyries in a hurry.

"!?"

"Sorry miss, but I have to cut this short!" she heard before his figure disappear around the corner of the hall behind her.

"Truly… what a strange man he is."

Arriving at the entrance, she mustered the courage to ask the staff about the art room.

===0===

Opening the door, he looked around before spotting his her.

"I'm here!"

"Right on time," his aunt turns to him with her usual smile, "Luka."

Spirit high, he confidently steps forward into the circle on the floor, "Alright! I'm ready for this!"

There's an amused glint in her eyes, "I could see that, did you bring a flower as well?"

Huh? Looking down, he realized what she meant.

"Damn it, I forgot to change out of the suit!" At that time, he looks more like a man going on a date than a hero.

Blushing slightly, he faces his aunt again, "Well, I'm already here, might as well just do it now."

Inside the house Micaela has drawn magic runes all across the floor, it forms a circle big enough for two or three people to fit inside. It's gonna take a lot for someone to travel to a different world, Micaela being experience could only help so much – that's where he came in.

Activating his aura, he gathered as much of his light magic as he can through his soul. Illuminating the room with soft blue light, the hero is now glowing like a lightbulb. With a grunt of efforts, he pushes them all out to the runes surrounding him.

Nodding at how the runes began to glow, Micaela proceeded to the next step of the transferring: the aiming. There's no telling how disastrous it would be for Luka to be teleported in the middle of space or deep underground, so she's working on making sure his landing is right where they wanted.

"It should be good to go now, all that's left is to chant it." Looking over to him she asked, "Did you thought of one?"

He did, it couldn't have been anything else. Closing his eyes, he concentrated on the early memories of his time on Remnant, reciting those precious words.

"For it is in courage that we achieve immortality."

As he begins, the air around them became still, as if time has stop.

"Through this, we become a paragon of hope and light to rise above darkness."

If it was bright before, now It's blindingly radiant.

"Infinite in compassion and bound by duty, I release your soul."

Micaela watches as a pillar of light appeared under her nephew.

"And by my shoulder, help thee."

As he finishes, everything around him turns white and he is no longer in Micaela's house.

===0===

When he opened his eyes, he was greeted by a cat hissing at him.

'I must've startled him when I got here.'

Crouching down, he held a hand towards it, "Sorry about that Mr. Cat, didn't mean to scare you."

The Orange feline stare at the hand for a bit, seemingly deciding whether or not it should trust him.

Eventually, curiosity got the best of it like most cat, and he went to nuzzled it's face on the hero's hand. Luka smiles and continue to pet the cat, as it starts to purr, he wondered where they are.

Looking around him, the place seems to be a back alley of a village, one that's probably not in the four great Kingdom. The buildings around him cast a shadow over the street, signaling it was still day time. He could also hear peoples on the other side of the buildings, maybe he should start asking for direction.

Getting up, he waved goodbye to the cat before walking out to the main road outside.

It's a beautiful day, he could see kids playing around, chasing each other and saying "TAG! You're it!" Adults going through their life happily, some were manning shops, others gossiping with their friends. The air was calm and joyful around the town he's in, and Luka couldn't help but be surprised at this.

Remnant may have been a futuristic world compared to his, with humanity revolutionizing their technology to make their lives easier, but no matter how far they've come the threat of Grimm was still a danger to everyone.

There was always a small aura of terror permeating the air that he could sense whenever he would go outside with his team. It's one of the reasons he worked so hard, to make it so that the future is free from this feeling of fear. The fact everyone here is so carefree and comfortable…

'Does that mean that… it worked?'

Walking around, he realized something he missed before, there's constructions everywhere! Workers running around, working as a unit to finished the houses, stores, bridges, and much more they were making.

"This is all like…" Luka went from walking to jogging, checking around him to make sure, to find more proof of his theory.

"Hey Luka, do you have a moment? I wanna talk about something."

"I know it sounds crazy, b-but just let me explain ok?"

"We have the time, everyone is busy now except us."

"If this works then we could save all of them! No one else has to die…"

"That's why I'm asking you, Luka. Will you help me?"

Some part wasn't even there yet, it's just empty spaces for people to build. Next to them he could see forest and barren lands with only wildlife, yet not one of them looked worried or afraid.

This isn't a village… they're building a new city.

"Hah haha…" it all came to him at that moment, "Looks like your plan work after all huh?"

The hero smile as he remembered the crazy plan his best friend came up with.

He was so glad that it worked.

===0===

"What's this?"

Infront of him was a monument of sort, he couldn't tell because there's a white cloth covering it however. It's located in the middle of the unfinished city, he could see other people also wondering and speculating what it could be.

"Maybe It's a fountain!" One of the kids said to her friends.

"But that's lame!" another boy said back, "They should put a robot instead!"

"Why? That doesn't even make sense!"

"Your face doesn't make sense!"

It devolved into a fight then, Luka had to fight the urge to go over and correct them now that he's a headmaster. Thankfully their parent beat him to it so the hero didn't have to.

He heard another man giving his thought, "It's gonna be the city's logo I bet, with the clouds and all." He said to his friend.

"Why cloud?" he asked, confuse by the randomness.

"It wasn't a bad guess, considering the name." an apathetic, feminine voice came from behind him.

Looking over, he saw a woman with long scarlet hair wearing a pair of glasses standing next to him. Her lab coat fluttered in the wind as she observes the scene.

"The name? You mean the city?"

"Correct," she answered, not even looking at him before continuing, "this city was named in honor of the man who is considered a war hero. Horizon City would have been deemed an impossible project before the war due to the Grimm, now however, building a city outside the kingdom is not only viable, but very beneficial for humanity."

"Huh, that's a pretty cool name." He said distractedly before looking back at her, she seems to be analyzing the covered object before growing bored, now nursing her cup of coffee, she finally turns to him.

Insatiable red gazes upon him and he couldn't help but feel slightly unnerved by it.

"Though, he is incorrect." Her words carried an aura of finality, it startled him how much it contradicts the seemingly mundane nature of the topic.

Deciding to match her pace, he gave her the question she's waiting for, "You seem pretty confident about that," he smiles disarmingly, "a penny for your thought? Or is it an arrowfell here."

There's a glint in her eyes, appreciating his gesture.

She explained her reasonings, "The layout doesn't fit with the rest, there's already going to be a logo at the city's entrance, putting another one right in the middle of it would be repetitive and shows a lack of creativity." She struck a posse that mirrored a detective about to solve a case, "What would made sense, however, is for them to use this area to pay tribute to the man who made it happened."

As Luka is listening to her, a man walked over to the covered object. Saying something to his coworker, the other man pulled out a scroll from his pocket – a quick search for something later, he flashes a 'go ahead' gesture. The first man saw it and proceed with what he's doing.

"So it's gonna be a tribute, that's nice of them." He wondered if it's a memorial or a statue, either way, putting it here is a good way to remembered them.

"I'd say indebted is more accurate."

Fully turning to her, Luka misses what's happening behind him. "I just got here, so thanks for explaining this all to me." The hero offered his hand to her, "The name's Luka, I'm sort of an educator now. It's good to meet you ma'am."

She studied his face for a moment, an amused smirk made it's way on her face before accepting his hand with her own. The worker finally removes the cloth and it revealed a marble statue of a Huntsman, wearing a cape that reach its feet and a beautifully designed sword in its right hand pointing to the sky. At the bottom, a text was carved, the name and biography of the man displayed for people to read.

Shaking his hand, the man in front of her looked the exact same as the statue. The only difference being the outfit he's wearing.

"Promestein, I'm a researcher working close from here."

===0===

A lot more people came by while he was talking with Promestein, she made an interesting partner to talk to. Her views on certain stuff fascinated him, and though he could barely understand most of what she said, he got the impression that she's purposefully slowing herself down so that he could keep up.

The topic then changed to the reason they're there, the researcher claims to be working on a project with a group of like-minded people. Luka explain that he's there to meet with old friends and catch up with them.

"Truly?" She asked.

"Yeah, is there something wrong that?"

She hummed, "No, I supposed not. I just thought of something else, don't mind me." She dismissed her words.

A beeping noise from her watch interrupted their talk. She looked it over before turning back to him.

"It would seem my time here has reached its end, I must leave and continue my work now."

Throwing her plastic cup in the nearest trashcan with perfect accuracy, she addresses him with a hint of disappointment on her face, "Our talk has not been a waste, you are more insightful than I've thought."

"I'll… take that as a compliment, hopefully we'll meet again promestein." He let out a small laugh, "It's been nice chatting with you."

"Likewise." With those simple word, she walked away and he quickly loss her in the see of people.

Now then…

His face took a serious expression, 'That's definitely her, the aura of holy energy was faint but I caught it.'

At first he was just suspicious, but when she said her name, he immediately remembered how one of the people who's responsible for the war was missing from the whole thing.

"Promestein… you're the one who sealed Alice and unleashed those chimeras during the war. Not to mention all the other horrible things you did."

He remembered she said that she's working in a group, that must be Seekers of Truth. They're a group of people who also when missing, Promestein must've brought them all here.

As for why? He doesn't know, but it can't be anything good. Tamamo has already told him just how dangerous they all are, and now that their here he has to watch out for them.

He sighed, why couldn't it have been simpler? Now he has to deal with a group interloper in another world. No matter, he'll focused on what he's here for first.

"First thing first, I have to find my friends. I'm sure they'll make it easier to deal with this."

Deciding to moved on, he turn around and-

There she is.

===0===

It was so sudden, so utterly unexpected that it felt like someone just punch him in the chest.

She's just standing there, staring at something with a look so sad that it hurt him. She's alone as far as he could tell, her iconic red cape flutter in the wind as usual and the feeling of nostalgia washes over him.

A voice inside of him is yelling how he should just go over there and hugged her, he almost does, but then logic came over and reminds him that would definitely freaks her out.

Is there an instruction on how you're supposed to greet someone you haven't met in a year? Oh, and this person also thinks that you have been dead the whole time.

Should he just… walk over a say hi like nothing happened?

'No, that doesn't fit with the situation.'

Maybe he could make a joke to ease the tension?

'No, that's pretty rude to do.'

Cover her eyes and say 'guess who?'

'That's even worst!'

For crying out loud! Why is this so hard for him!?

Holding his head in frustration, he tried his best to calm his heartbeat and cleared his head. Breathing deep, he decides to trust the ol' reliable.

Winging it. If anything happened that he didn't expect, he'll just improvise like always!

"Alright… here we go!" He hyped himself up before walking towards her.

As he got closer, his heart starts beating loudly again, his mind thinking everyway it could go bad.

'Come on Luka! Get yourself together and stop catastrophizing! If I can save two world and fought a deity then I can greet an old friend!'

Standing behind her, all he has to do now is say something.

Maybe he'll say something cool like 'What's good, partner!' or something more professional like 'How are you, old friend?' now that he's a headmaster.

"… H-Hey?"

'Nailed it.'

She went still, not moving at all which makes him worried. Then she turns to him, so fast that her cape almost slaps him across the head. She looked so desperate, a glimmer of hope in her eyes almost gone.

When she saw him, disbelief came first, thinking her mind is playing a cruel trick on her. Surprise took over when he's still there, awkwardly smiling at her. Luka panic when her eyes started watering, thinking of ways to calm her down; he wasn't ready when she threw herself on him like a beowolf.

"LUUUKAAAAAAAAA!" She wailed out, gathering everyone's attention to them. Not caring about that, the hero checked her over to see if she's alright.

It took a while to calm her down, he felt horrible watching her cry so much and tried his best to console her. Now she's just quietly sniffling, her face buried on his shoulder while her arms wrapped around him, refusing to let go.

'She's probably scare I'll disappeared again.'

Not that she has to, "I'm here, I'm not going anywhere." Wrapping one hand on her back while the other gently patted her head, the hero reassure his partner as tenderly as he could.

"…"

"I'm so sorry, for leaving everyone like that."

"…"

"I know it was selfish, and stupid, not to mention how dangerous it was. And I'm sorry."

"… then why didn't you bring me along?" She whispered back at him.

"T-that's… well, it would have been counterproductive."

"!?" She finally faces him, still not letting go. Her dimmed silver eyes questioning him.

"The plan, the reason why Jaune and I even go to Evernight castle and sealed Salem in the first place was because we didn't want anyone else to get hurt."

He explained to her everything that happened on that day, when his best friend came to him and told Luka his plan, to how they even managed to get there. He told her everything and by the end she was looking ready to bite his head off. Luka was expecting that of course, he'll gladly let her do it too. She deserves it after what how worried he made her.

What he didn't expect was for her to slump in his arms. It's like all her build up energy just left and now she's left with nothing.

"H-hey! What's wrong!?" The hero worriedly asked.

Holding his partner close, he hears her, "It's just- I mean…"

"…" He patiently waited for her to finished. She's doing this thing again, where she wanted to say something but doesn't know how, so she just started muttering a bit.

In the end, she just sighed and said, "I'm tired."

"I already hear most of what you said from Jaune." She trembles in his arms, "And I was so mad at him, I remembered how I yell at him when he told us about it." Then she went still again, "It took a while before I made up with him, then I was just sad. Yang told me about this place, and I came here thinking I might get some closure."

"… Did it work?"

"No." She said instantly, "I think it made the longing worse."

Ah…

Her hands started clutching his sides, "Then you're here again… after a year. You just show up out of nowhere and you're still the same- and I'm so happy- why are you wearing a suit- how can you just smile at me like that after leaving- and I hate how I can't get angry at you- you big JERK!"

"…" thinking she needed some space, The hero took a step back before she grabs both of his hand andreeledhim back in, their faces almost touching.

"But you're here now." She said, now staring directly into his eyes, "You're here, and being angry or telling you how sad I was wouldn't fixed anything. I'd rather be happy with you instead."

Her smile was so fragile, her breathing shaky and only now did he realise how much he misses her.

"I've always cherished you."

Her eyes widened, and so did his. The words came rushing out of his mouth automatically, nevertheless, he can't just leave it there.

"Ever since we became partners, and still now. You believe in me when I don't, you gave me a friend I could never asked for, spending the year on beacon with you and our team has been the best moments of my life."

Both of their face gets progressively redder the more he speak, but he won't stop, not now when he's so close to saying it. The feelings emanating from the both of them is so potent, it could never be fake. Now armed with this knowledge, he bravely marches forward.

"Ruby Rose, I love-!?" He never managed to finish the sentence as the huntress then proceeded to stole his first kiss. It was clumsy, but she made up for it in passion. It was so wonderful his mind went to mush.

She eventually stopped for the need of oxygen, and he has never saw her so bright before. Her faceshinein joy. Compared to how dishevelled he looked it was like she stole the energy out of him with that kiss.

"S-so…" The redheaded girl stammer, "That just happened."

"Yeah… hahah." He embarrassingly laughed at the situation.

Sure, other people had kissed him before, from monsters wanting to express their gratitude to his aunt kissing his forehead that one time he was sick. But never on the lips, everytime someone tried to he would always dodge and politely decline.

Out of everyone, he was glad that she's the one who took his first kiss.

Ruby also started laughing, "Y'know, it's ironic."

"Hmm?"

"I came here to say goodbye, I thought seeing your statue here would help me moved on. But then I met you instead, in the flesh standing behind me the whole time."

"That does sound kind of convenient, now that I think about it." Not that he minded, he's just happy to reunite with her after all this… time…

Wait a minute.

He looked at her questioningly, "My what?"

"Hmm?" She tilts her head in confusion.

"Something that you say just now, my what?"

"Oh! You mean your statue, it's beautiful isn't it?"

Thatthrew him in a loop, "I- I have a statue dedicated to me?"

"…" She pointed behind her.

[Here lies Luka Morningstar, he was a Huntsman like no other, a great friend, a wonderful student, and a Hero.]

Luka was in disbelief as he saw the marble replica of him, a lot of people had gather around to pay respect, some even brought flowers as gift.

"That was there the whole time?"

"How did you not see it!? It's literally right there!"

===0===

On a flowery hill, somewhere outside the kingdom of vale, two people could be seen laying on the ground next to each other. The sun was setting, basking the lands around them in golden light.

"Hey Luka…"

"Yeah?"

"Where have you been this whole time?" she looked at his suit, "And why are you dress like a teacher?"

"Headmaster actually."

"You're a what!?"

Sitting up, he thought of ways to explain, "So, have you ever heard of the multiverse theory?"

"Like, the one in those comic books?"

Oh boy…

One very confusing, perverted, unhinged, and unbelievable story later, Luka watches as his blushing girlfriend struggle to wrapped her mind around the concept of monster girls.

===0===

"My victories over them spread faster than I thought, soon everyone recognised me as the one who united everyone after making the four heavenly knight and the current monster lord bow to his will. I hated it, this rule of might makes right is going to ruined the future generations if it continues." He clenches his fist in frustration at the memory, but then he turns to her, his eyes conveying joy.

"I proposed the idea of an academy, a place where people can come and learn about the world and its histories, a place where creativities and inventions can thrive. A place where you are excepted regardless of your race and differences. Some people object to this, saying it's too dangerous and that the mixing of so many cultures together is bound to starts conflicts. I understand their concern, even I know that it wouldn't be smooth for the next couple years, but I never gave up."

"What's it called?" She asked, proudness growing in her chest.

"Andromeda Academy. My pride and joy."

"That's wonderful." She held his hand, "I wish I could go there one day."

===0===

Ruby believed his words surprisingly easier than he thought. To be fair, their lives has been pretty weird with Ozpin and his reincarnated shenanigans, fairy tales actually being real, and the existence of Salem. The idea of a different world (one much lewder) aren't very farfetch.

After the reunion with all his friends, they all decides to throw a party to celebrate his returned. When it was nearing its end, he took her to one of the rooms in the place they had rented to talk about something important.

"So, there's this snake girl…" he begins.

"You mean the one who doesn't like human very much?"

"Yeah, that one. To be fair, she had a valid reason to hate humans, so I can't really blame her. She's also a good person now, much better than when we first met."

"That's good, I'm happy for her."

His smile was bittersweet, "Me too, I'm proud of how far she's come. Not a lot of people can admit that they're wrong and actively tried to right the mistakes they have done."

She notices how he started to nervously fiddle with one of the emblems he had on his suit.

"Is something wrong?" She leans closer in reassurance.

Luka appreciate the gesture and started from the beginning.

"She goes by Alice – because her real name is too long, I met her while I was trying to entered heaven, she doesn't like me much at first. After we won the war against Ilias, she warned me that some monsters are still stuck in their old ways and wouldn't want to changed how things are."

"Why? Didn't they learn anything?"

"I get why you're confuse, I was too when she told me that." The whole reason a war break out was because of mass discrimination, it's mind boggling that they would still continue despite seeing the consequence themselves.

"Then what did you do?"

"Alice said that the quickest way to stop them was by gaining their respect. If I could prove my way was better and that I truly believes in my ideal, they would listen to me. I started going around the world, meeting and helping as much people as I can. Sometimes I would meet her on the way, we would talk about anything we have on our minds, she loves to eat so I would treat her to any restaurant we could find."

"That sounds fun, did you two became friends then?" Ruby was starting to get invested in the story, this only makes him worrier how it could go.

"Probably, I don't remember when exactly, but over the course of my journey we started getting closer, the wall she would put up slowly disappear and I'll get happy whenever I saw her again. It was fun, having her there."

"Aww~ looks like even the monster lord just wanted a friend all along!" She laughed, "Either that, or she couldn't handle how adorkable you are!"

"That's not a real word!" The hero shot back, red in the face.

"Sure it is, and you didn't even denied what I said~" she teases him.

"Guh!" Is this her way of getting back at him for leaving? If it is, he wondered when she got so bold.

Cooing at how cute his reaction was, Ruby wrapped him in a hug and started rocking them back and forth. This only made her boyfriend redder, which mean it's working.

"On that note… what's bothering you, Luka?" Seeing that her words startle him, she must've hit nail right on the head.

He sighed, "I can't hide anything from you huh?"

"Nope." Popping the p, she cheekily poked his nose.

Shaking his head in mock annoyance, he separated their body and stood straight.

"After I was done venturing the world and gaining the trust of monsters, I was invited to the monster lord castle. Alice told me that there's one thing left to do, if I can get the four heavenly knight to acknowledge me, and won against her in a fight, then no monster would ever dare to challenge me."

Feeling the serious nature of this talk coming back, Ruby listened attentively.

"It was a system made barbaric on purpose, to ensure the loyalty of other monsters back then. At first I wanted to refuse, but then I realised this is her way of helping me. Alice wanted me to succeed and to do that I need to overcome this challenge, which I did, all of them were amazing fighters in their own right, but my will is stronger than them."

Looking down at his arm, he continues, "In the end, they all accepted their loss and vowed to never harm another human or angel. I walked into the throne room and saw Alice waiting for me, the fight we had took everything I got to beat her. She must've study how I fight to counter my every move, the only reason I managed to win was the experience I've gained throughout my journey."

Ruby was starting to wonder when the anvil is going to drop. So far everything Luka have told her has been going great.

"She was there, when I proposed the idea of andromeda, with Alice and I working together, not one person managed to gave an argument we can't solve."

'Yeah, like that.'

"I gave my scroll to the scientists in my world, they manage to reverse engineer it and produces our own version of camera. When I got the very first functioning module, I immediately when to show it of to Alice. She was so fascinated, It's fun watching her learn about technology like I did before."

'And that…'

"When I got sick because I overworked myself, Alice came and help with the andromeda project until I got better. I remembered making ice-cream for her as thanks. She looked… so happy."

'…'

"The day Andromeda Academy finished building, we had a party to celebrate it. Having Alice stand next to me when we took a picture feels natural, after everything we've been through…"

'…oh.'

"Alice said that she could smell your scent on me, she doesn't want to get in the way of another relationship, so she stopped talking to me since then. I… I probably shouldn't say this but, when she said she love me…"

Luka looked down in shame, not meeting her eyes as he finished.

"I was happy…"

They stay there as the muffled music in the background continue playing for the party. The hero felt bad after the confession, yet he's also glad to get it off his chest.

"…"

He couldn't see her face, but the hero could feel her contemplating everything he has said.

A hand patted his back, beckoning his attention. When he turns to her, she looked less angry than he thought, surprising him.

"Luka."

"Y-yeah?"

"Do you love her?"

"I…"

Her gaze softened, "I need you to answer honestly, do you love her?"

"I do." He admitted, "I realised when she confessed that I love her too."

She clapped her hand together and stood up, "Well that settle's it, I knew just the solution for this!"

"Really?"

"Yup!" Walking over to him, she pulls the hero up to his feet.

"You'll just have to marry us both!" She said confidently.

"Wha- what!?" He sputtered, there must be something wrong with his ears!

But first things first.

"You're not angry?" he asked, dumbfounded.

"I was a bit jealous at first," She pouted, "I've always wanted to travel with you…"

'She does? Maybe I could take her somewhere- Wait no! now is not the time!'

"No, that… are you really alright with that?"

"I don't see why not. My dad married two women, that's how Yang and I was born."

Didn't Yang say that went horribly wrong later on?

"And besides, if this Alice is like how you said she is, I think she's pretty alright." She started blushing, quietly saying, "As long as I'm your first wife… I won't mind." Her eyes lingered to the ring on his hand, the one he promised to hold on to.

'Hey god, if you're listening to this, I just wanted to say thank you.'

"You're welcome."

"!?"

END OF CHAPTER

Author's note: This is originally supposed to be the final chapter. I feel it might be too long so I'll made another chapter after this. Should take about a week, thanks for reading.
