Hogwarts, Great Lake

Severus waited by the edge of the lake, the moon casting a silvery glow over the water. The night was quiet, with only the soft rustling of leaves and the occasional splash of a fish breaking the silence.

Remus approached, his face flushed and his steps hesitant. He looked around nervously before locking eyes with Severus. "You wanted to see me?"

Severus, leaning casually against a tree, couldn't help but smirk at the sight of Remus's nervousness. "Yes, thanks for coming. I need your help with a little... experiment."

Remus shifted uncomfortably, his cheeks bright red. "An experiment? What is it?"

Severus's smirk widened. "I need you to kiss me. It's for my study on different kissing techniques."

Remus's eyes widened, and he swallowed hard. "A kiss? You can't be serious."

"Deadly serious," Severus replied coolly, his smirk never fading. "I promise it's purely for academic purposes."

Remus's blush deepened, and he looked down, struggling to compose himself. "Well... if you really think it's important for your study."

Severus nodded, his gaze unwavering. "It is. And I appreciate your help."

With a nervous breath, Remus approached. As he leaned in, his lips touched Severus's in a hesitant kiss. His anxiety got the best of him, causing him to accidentally step on Severus's foot and bite his lip simultaneously.

Severus winced, pulling back with a sharp hiss. The smirk was gone, replaced by a look of discomfort. "Damn it... Thanks, Lupin. That was certainly... informative."

Remus's face was bright red, his eyes wide with embarrassment. "W-Wait... No... Let me... try again!"

Severus raised an eyebrow, clearly amused despite his discomfort. "If you insist."

Remus took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. He stepped closer, his hands slightly trembling as he leaned in once more. This time, he aimed for a gentler, more controlled kiss.

As their lips met again, Remus's nervousness was still present but more subdued. He tried to focus, hoping to make the kiss as smooth and deliberate as possible. Severus, now more receptive, leaned into the kiss with a slight tilt of his head, showing a hint of encouragement as his left hand came to rest on Remus's hip.

When they finally pulled apart, Severus's expression was more thoughtful than before. "Much better," he said, his tone softer. "That was more like what I was looking for."

Remus exhaled in relief, his blush burning brighter but mixed with a sense of accomplishment. "I'm glad. I-I just... I hope that was okay."

Severus gave a small, approving nod. "It was fine. Thanks for your help, Lupin. I appreciate it."

Remus managed a shy smile and nodded. "Anytime. I-If you need or wanna do anything else... just, um, let me know."

As he turned to leave, Severus watched him go, a mix of amusement and curiosity in his gaze. Remus's reaction had added an unexpected layer to his study, and Severus couldn't help but feel a bit more intrigued by the boy's flustered face.

Hogwarts, Griffindor Boys Dorms

Remus ran as fast as his feet could carry him, his heart racing. He flung open the door to his dormitory and scrambled inside, barely registering the chaos around him. With a desperate look, he dove under his bed, his face burning bright red and his breath coming in quick, shallow bursts.

Once safely hidden beneath the bed, Remus curled into a ball, his heartbeat echoing loudly in his ears. He felt a mix of embarrassment and adrenaline, the intensity of the moment replaying in his mind. His thoughts were a jumbled mess, filled with memories of Severus's cool demeanor and the awkwardness of their kiss.

"Why did I have to mess up?" Remus muttered to himself, his voice barely a whisper. He rubbed his face with his hands, trying to calm down. "I can't believe I stepped on his foot. And biting his lip… what a disaster."

He remained hidden, the darkness and cramped space offering a strange sense of comfort. Outside, the soft sounds of the castle at night were a distant backdrop to his anxious thoughts. Eventually, the pounding of his heart began to slow, and he took deep, calming breaths.

"I'll just... stay here for a bit," he decided, hoping that by the time he emerged, the embarrassment would have faded and he could face the world—especially Severus—without turning beet red. As he lay there, his thoughts started to drift back to the kiss.

God...Severus lips were so soft..and the feel of his hands was amazing

And so, Remus lay there the rest of the night, dreaming about his future life with Severus and their 7 kids.
