What?
Orimoto Kaori is a person.
She is a friend.
No matter how much her actions have hurt me, it was the right decision—the best path.
I could never have returned to the normal path if I had continued with that attitude. Or maybe I could?
I have no idea. Not that it matters much either.
The rejection I experienced, in the beginning, was due to my original personality, not because of spontaneous laughter or covering myself in outlandish clothing. It had nothing to do with the nicknames my unfunniness caused other people.
Seeing the speck in someone else's eye is always the best way to overlook their flaws. Their inferior abilities to distinguish their childish diatribe. Over them, I stand as someone more practical and more aware of their surroundings. Years of acting impersonally, serve to better understand others; to "guess their moves". Reading them is simpler than remembering a light novel.
In these circumstances, my skeptical and pragmatic sense avoids reaching useless conclusions at the gates of an adult life.
So, why is she here?
Why is she here?
"Welcome transfer student, Yukinoshita Yukino."
And that, in the end, is the first piece in a teetering tower known as my memories in a game of Jenga with reality. Or rather, a "Go" fight where I'm outclassed in every aspect.
"Hikki, do you want to try my cookies?"
Didn't I outgrow this stage of my life?
"Are you going to take away my scholarship?"
In the name of Buddha...
"Senpai, I need more dating practice to have an excellent first time."
...I don't understand anything
"Start the service club, you brat."
Wait a minute…
"Are you listening to me, Hikio?"
...This shouldn't be...
"I guess my Yukino-chan has a good eye"
...Something that happened in...
"Etto, Sore aru, Hachi-chan."
My juvenile romantic food (not) is wrong, as I expected?
How is this happening in the real world?
PD: good evening, dear readers, greetings from your favorite procrastinating author
As you can see, college is not over with me yet (it will be very soon), so I revive it with this short story. It may possibly be a one-shot. First I must finish some of the other works that are on hiatus. Anyway, you may be wondering, where did this convoluted plot come from? A look at youtube shorts is the answer.
While I was distracted from playing mlbb, I came across recommended Webtoon character Na kang Lim. Honestly, it's a very entertaining play. So, I wondered, if something similar happens to Hachiman before meeting the whole cast, could he be a good protagonist (in this case it should replace a parody of SNAFU where Hayama is the main character). I also have another idea in the warcraft III and Baki universes, but I think I should advance more on what has already been established.
If anyone is interested in helping me as a beta reader, I would be more than grateful. Anyway, see you in 3 months until my final exams XD
Thank you very much for reading and following me
