We're back on chapter seven.
REMINDER: I DO NOT OWN LEGEND OF KORRA, OR KIM POSSIBLE OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS.
Back in the Avatar World, at the Sato Estate, Kim, Ron and Asami were recovering from the fight against Shadewalker and Hergo. Rufus was eating noodles.
"Shego's gonna freak if she finds out Drakken's cloned her." Ron said.
"How freak is she?" Asami asked.
"You'll find out soon enough if she gets here." Ron said.
"I don't get it. The Clonenix can create evil doublegangers of every superhero. And Shego was already evil." Kim said.
"But she was a hero when she was with Team Go." Ron said.
"Team-team Go?" Asami asked.
"That's what she and her brothers were called before she quite to be an evil sidekick to Dr. Drakken." Kim said.
"Oh." Asami got the point.
"But it seems that Hergo is even more eviler than Shego." Ron said. "And she's loyal to the Darkbender, and Shego was always mocking Drakken's plans."
"I wonder why." Asami was getting the point about Drakken.
"Yeah, you get the point. Drakken may be a mad scientist, but he's no genius." Ron said.
"But why did Drakken come here in our world? What does he want?" Asami wondered.
"And most importantly, why is he working with the Darkbender?" Kim wondered. "And what do they have something to do with Korra?"
"Darkbender's seemed to blame Unalaq and Raiko for whatever happened to her." Ron said. "Asami, what did Unalaq do to her?"
"A long time ago, he hired barbarians to attack his village. Korra's father Tonraq followed them, and destroyed the forest. That caused the spirits to attack the village. Tonraq was banished from the North to the South."
"He had him banished?" Ron was shocked. "What kind of a man did this to his own brother. They are brothers, right? Or is he the mother's…"
"Tonraq and Unalaq are brothers, yes." Asami said. "He had Korra opened the southern spirit portal, invaded the South, and had Korra's parents arrested."
"What the hell is he up to?" Kim asked.
"That's what Korra was trying to find out." Asami said.
"And?" Kim asked.
"I still don't feel like talking about it." Asami said sadly with a tear.
Kim understands how Asami was feeling about Korra. She looked at a photo of her, Mako, Bolin and a tan-skinned girl, who was none other than Avatar Korra.
"That's her, wasn't it?" Kim asked.
"Yep. That's her." Asami said, looking at the photo.
"She looks tough." Ron said. "Hey, what's the Avatar's other abilities with all the bending."
"Oh, when her eyes glows white, that's called the Avatar State. It's a powerful one." Asami said with a chuckle.
"So, Unalaq had Korra's brother banished. He manipulated her to open that spirit portal. And invaded her tribe." Kim was on to something.
"What if Varrick was correct about Unalaq?" Ron theorized.
"Unalaq might be in league with Drakken and the Darkbender." Kim suggested.
"You may be right on something, KP." Asami said. "He must be pretending to not know the identity of the Darkbender when he attacked the Northern Cultural Center."
"This doesn't make sense. Why would Unalaq let him blow up the cultural center?" Ron wondered. "And what does Korra had something to do with this masked creep?"
"Maybe it's someone she must be friends with." Asami said.
"But who was so devoted Korra?" Ron asked.
"Or someone who lost to her." Kim theorized. "Asami, what's this guy's name again? Amon?"
"That's right. Amon was a waterbender, but he lied to the nonbenders to erase all benders when he started the Equalists." Asami remembered.
A flashback was starting six months ago when Amon was announcing the era of the Equalists. He takes the bending of Lightning Bolt Zolt. And he and his army took over Republic City.
"Amon and my father were leading the revolution and took over Republic City. He used bloodbending to gain the Avatar's ability to remove bending from others. And he briefly succeeded when he removed Korra's. But Korra defeated him and exposed him as the fraud he was."
It was the time when Amon took away Korra's bending, but her airbending came up and she used it to blow away Amon, and he fell to the water. When he was using waterbending, the people witnessed Amon as a fraud.
"You said he was the son of a bloodbending crime lord, and his brother was a councilman, right?" Kim asked. "Do you think those two are behind this?"
"Impossible. Amon and Tarrlok escaped to the open ocean." Asami said.
In the middle of the sea where Tarrlok sat in a boat and Noatak aka Amon was driving.
"The two of us together again, there's nothing we can't do!" Amon said enthusiastically.
"Yes, Noatak." Tarrlok agreed.
"Noatak. Hmph, I had almost forgotten the sound of my own name." Noatak said with a smile.
Tarrlok noticed the electrified gloves and looks over to his brother. He takes one, without Noatak seeing him.
Tarrlok unscrews the lid of the fuel tank, placing the electric glove above it.
"It will be just like the good old days."
A tear rolls down Noatak's cheek and Tarrlok electrocutes the fuel tank. Further shot of the boat exploding, forming a giant mushroom cloud.
The flashback back to present day.
"They committed suicide." Asami said.
"And so, let me guess. Korra got her bending back when her past lives gave it all back to her." Ron said.
"Yeah. Ron, you're learning about the Avatar cycle." Asami said proudly.
"Thanks." Ron said as Rufus clubbed. "I'm beginning to love the Avatar World.
"So, it may not be Amon or Tarrlok, because they're dead." Asami said.
"So, is there someone else? Someone who thanked her for restoring his or her bending?" Kim asked.
"Let's see. There's Tahno, the captain of the White Falls Wolfbats." Asami said. "He was cheating in the Pro-bending Arena, but when Amon took away his waterbending, Korra restored him. He thanked her for it."
"So, if Tahno became friends with Korra for restoring his bending, he could be the Darkbender." Ron suggested.
"Could be." Rufus agreed.
"So, if you might be right, we find his costume, and the blueprints of the fortress and the Clonenix." Kim said.
"It may be true. He and his teammates were cheating to win." Asami said. "But if he is, we'll need to investigate."
"We'll start right now." Kim said. "Do you know where he lives, Asami?"
"No, but we'll ask some of his fangirls." Asami said.
"What about your company?" Kim asked.
"Varrick can handle it. He's my business partner." Asami said.
"That guy is a lot like you, Ron." Kim said.
"What, imaginative?" Ron asked.
"Yeah." Asami said. said.
"Right, guys. We've got an investigation." Kim determined.
"Okay, where do we start?" Ron determined.
Meanwhile, at the Southern Water Tribe, Unalaq and his son and daughter left their ship as they returned. A general walked to Unalaq with some news.
"Sir, we've doubled the guards for security on the southern spirit portal." he said.
"Good, but triple them. we have a new enemy who declared war on us." Unalaq said. "I don't know who this masked man is, but he must have known about what I am about to do."
"Yes, sir." the general said before he walked away.
"Father, if this Darkbender knows something about Vaatu, what is he going to do with him?" Eska asked.
"I do not know. But whatever he is planning, he would destroy what I've started." Unalaq said. "We must continue our mission."
Could Tahno be the Darkbender? We'll find out on chapter eight.
