Hi Everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read my story! It is meant for Kisara to be a part of the existing story for Yu-Gi-Oh while showing a side of Seto others haven't seen. I obviously don't own these characters or any songs included in this chapter. This chapter also has violence in it. This is my first story so if I should update it, just let me know and I would be happy to change it. I've had this story in my head for a while and I just write it down so I always remember. It isn't my intention to take credit for anything I didn't create. Thanks and I hope you enjoy!

Part 9: KC Grand Championship

Dr. Holiday-

Seto drives while Mokuba is in the back seat with Kisara. Her body has been limp, until ten minutes ago. She is still knocked out, but occasionally winces like she is in a dream. Her body tenses like she is in pain while Mokuba sees it. "Seto, she keeps twitching. I don't know why!" Seto is already on his phone and dialing a number while wildly weaving through traffic.

"Keep her steady Mokuba." Mokuba gently pushes Kisara's wings. He finds that they retract into her back. He continues to push until they fully draw into her back, hidden. Seto gets a hold of Al on the phone.

He sounds like he is climbing out of bed, "Seto?"

"Al, I found her. We need your help."

He hears Al get out of bed and shuffle, looking for clothes, "I'll be there. She saved me before, so I'll be there. Where are you going?"

"We are driving back to HQ. I've already planned to have her hospital bed from before in my office."

Al pauses on the phone, "What happened? She needs her hospital bed again?"

Seto loses focus and tries to look at the road, "Just meet us, we will explain there." He hangs up and dials Haru's number.

Haru answers immediately, "Yes boss?"

He has a feeling Haru is attempting to do Kisara's job and still at the office, "We found her. I need you to find a doctor that can work with special cases, almost supernatural."

"On it. Is she okay?"

Seto doesn't want to think about that question, "Have the doctor meet us at HQ."

"I'll see you when you get here." He confirms Seto's suspicions about his location. He continues to drive furiously on the road and pulls up to Kaiba Corp HQ.

They arrive and Mokuba gets out to open the backseat door for Seto. Seto lifts her out of the car and carries her toward the doors. Her body twists as if it's uncomfortable. Still unconscious, she grunts and twitches like she is in pain. Seto speeds up the pace while he feels her body convulse in his arms. The three of them wait in the elevator as it goes up, {This can't happen. We can't get this close to finally be together just so she can -} He can't even think of the word 'die' let alone finish the sentence in his head. They arrive at his floor and walk down the hall to his office. Haru, Al, a doctor, and three nurses are already waiting by an empty bed. Seto briskly walks to it and lays her down on top, "Her heart rate is elevated, and she keeps having spasms." Once on the bed, the nurses swarm her. They place an IV and start to monitor her vitals. The doctor examines her and administers something to calm her down. She stops trembling and slowly goes still. Seto watches her eyes flutter but stay closed as her head rolls back and rests on the pillow. Her lips open for a second and she says quietly, "Seto." Haru and Al glance at him, but Seto keeps focusing on Kisara. He leans over her bedside and takes her hand, wishing she could look at him. To know he is there.

The doctor approaches him, "Sir, I'm Dr. Holiday. Your head of tech called me. I'm here at your disposal."

Seto gives him a murderous glare, "Are you good at your job, Dr. Holiday?"

He looks at him hesitant, "Y-Yes sir. I've experienced a lot of unique cases in my time. Can you provide me more detail about her condition? Is there a reason why you specifically requested a doctor like me?"

Seto turns back to Kisara, "If you are good at your job, then there should be no problem." He stays at her side, hoping and praying. "Just do your job. You will be paid handsomely for your efforts."

"Understood sir." The doctor continues to monitor Kisara. Seto stays at her side as hours turn into days, days into weeks, and weeks into months.

Kaiba Land

Seto went dark after Kisara had to recover from her transformation. For two weeks she stayed asleep and didn't wake up. Holiday was staying nearby to monitor her condition, and a roster of nurses was hired to watcher over her at all times. Seto stayed in his office for the entire time and glared at anyone who approached her bedside. Each day he would work during the day, then set up a temporary bed in his office and stay by her side all night. He couldn't sleep. His big brain would try to comprehend things he has seen her do before that didn't make sense, hoping for an explanation. One night he went to the armory after leaving Kisara with Mokuba. He tested each one of her weapons including the shield pods she didn't need. Surprisingly, he found that the pods she created were real and produced a barrier without her. It was based on her power which was the source. Another night, he combed through security footage and watched her movements behind the scenes. Some things clicked into place, like the bullets that were blocked by what he now assumes were her invisible crystal wings. Other clips didn't make sense. For example, he watched the footage when Mokuba was taken by the rare card hunters. He saw Kisara in HQ working over a console a minute before she appeared on the street and cut him down from the rope holding him to a helicopter. She got there in an instant where driving would normally take her 30 minutes. His mind tried to rationalize this but found no solution, so he moved on. However, he was faced with the same dilemma when evaluating the footage from the Gaming Playground break in. He watched Kisara run out of the 5th floor control booth and appear on the opposite end of the duel dome facility a moment later. Frustrated, he runs his hands through his hair and glances at her in her bed. She slowly and steadily breathes, not moving. He wishes she was awake to explain.

Once the third week began, Kaiba Corp began preparing for the opening of Kaiba Land. The entire office is a buzz, but a part is missing without Kisara. She has been there when this idea was first imagined and lead a lot of essential initiates along the way. Preparing to open it without her feels empty to many of Kaiba Corp's employees including Seto. Mokuba and Seto decide to throw a tournament celebrating the park's opening. Mokuba suggests it as an attempt for Seto to get out of his office. In the end, Seto agrees but doesn't enter the tournament which is unheard of to his brother and staff. He cites the responsibility of running the parks, but in reality, it is because of Kisara. He assigns Mokuba to get to work assembling some of the best duelists in the world including Yu-Gi, Mai, Rebecca and many others.

Yu-Gi and the gang accompany Mokuba to the park and watch as one of the visitors duels against an AI robot. Suddenly the AI robot goes haywire and is set at the highest level. Yami is forced to help the visitor beat the robot in a duel. Meanwhile Mokuba steps to the side and radios Seto from his jacket collar. "Seto? Are you seeing this?"

At the main Kaiba Land building, Seto is typing furiously on a holo-deck attached to his wrist. His holo-windows are blue, and he keeps trying to type in code but scowls when it doesn't work. Another set of code is written in pink and blocks his attempts at gaining control over his Dueling AI robot. He hasn't had to face a problem like this before since Kisara took over. He glances away from a window briefly to look at her. She continues to sleep soundly in her hospital bed without any sign of waking up. He hears Mokuba in the earpiece he wears, "Seto? Are you seeing this?"

"Yes Mokuba, are you safe?"

"Yes. Yu-Gi is going to duel the robot so we can escape." Seto sighs. He hated Yu-Gi even after the gang explained he was possessed when he tried to kidnap Kisara. He didn't believe it, but he was relieved he was dueling the computer. Out of anyone in the world, Yu-Gi could beat it. "Good. I'm working to block out the hacker, but it's not working."

"It's okay big bro. Just get here when you can." Yu-Gi eventually beats the computer as Seto watches from the inside of a helicopter. It arrives at the facility as the visitors are let out. He spies Mokuba exit down below and directs the helicopter to land nearby. He hugs Mokuba when he sees he is okay, then glares at the gang behind him. This is the first time he has seen them since that day in the forest. They ask what happened and he explains it was a hacker. "Mark my words, this punk will be found and punished"

Mokuba interrupts to explain, "It's been harder to stop hackers with Kisara still out of commission."

Tristan talks to Seto, "Oh, she still hasn't woken up? I'm sorry Kaiba."

"I don't need your pity." He spits. "Let's go Mokuba. I left her with Al." He then turns back to the helicopter and boards without looking back. Mokuba gives the gang a pleading look, then follows him.

Rebecca watches him go and comments, "Mokuba is kind of cute."

Tea replies dryly, "He is more age appropriate than Yu-Gi that's for sure." Rebecca glares at her as she continues, "I can't believe Kisara is still asleep." The rest nod in agreement as they watch the helicopter take off and fly away.

Zigfried is another challenger for the tournament but under a false name. Eventually Seto realizes his identity and confronts him. Zigfried challenges Seto to a duel, who obviously accepts. During the duel, Zigfried's eyes narrow, "Tell me, how did you have impeccable cyber security before? I haven't been able to touch your systems until now. Why is that?" All Seto does is give him a serious expression. "I thought with your vast intelligence that you were stopping me all this time, but that wasn't the case, now, is it?"

Seto thinks back on times he has seen Kisara bounce back hackers. One comes to mind that could be Zigfried.

Chariot Rider-

Mokuba, Seto and Kisara are sitting on the couch in the penthouse. Kisara just made soup which everyone is tentatively slurping. "This is great Kisara!" Kisara looks up from her soup, smiling about to reply. Before she does, she gets a notification on her holo-pad. Her wrist lights up with a red notification saying, 'Urgent'.

She gets up from her seat, "Thanks Mokuba, I have to check this out. One sec." She walks to the kitchen and sits down at the island bar. Seto watches her go and stands to follow her.

He says to Mokuba, "I'll be right back." When he joins her in the kitchen, she has three screens up. The middle has lines of code, the left has a map attempting to locate something, the right has passport pictures of people rapidly changing. She hears Seto but doesn't look up from her screens. Her eyes dart swiftly from each screen while she types code in blue text. Code in pink populates after she finishes, and they go back and forth. Seto eyes go wide when he realizes what she is doing. The code in pink is attempting to break into the Kaiba Corp systems. Kisara is blocking it in real time. "Is this what I think it is?" He leans over her shoulder eyeing the screens.

"It is." His head and hers are inches from each other, but Kisara doesn't break focus. "Don't worry, I'm sending them a gift." A smile tugs on the corner of her mouth while she continues typing. She doesn't need to look down as she looks at Seto with her fingers still flying across the keys, "A gift that will put their systems out of commission for a couple months! Then I'll update our data, so they have a new obstacle to encounter before trying again."

She looks back at the screens while Seto asks, "Trying again?"

She replies sounding not worried, "This little bugger comes back and tries to break into our systems each time. Their name changes. Sometimes it's Valkyrie, Night Witch, or this recent one;" she points to a line in the code at the top, "Chariot Rider."

"How do you know it's the same person?"

"They always type in pink. They are good, but not as good as me. They always know when to log off before my tracker pinpoints their location. I get close, but I still don't know who it is exactly." She continues to type but nods her head in the direction of her left screen with a map. "I hold them off until they run out of time, and I update our systems. That way, I have time to stop them before they try again, and I get a notification when it's time to log on and block them. They try at different times of the day, probably hoping to catch me off guard. I'm taking the offense today. It's payback for them doing it during my off hours." She leans back and hits one final key on her computer, grinning. An animation of a bomb being wrapped in a present appears on her screen and disappears. Seto raises an eyebrow when the pink code disappears. "There we go! We shouldn't hear from them in a while." She turns her head, so their lips are inches from each other. They both frantically pull back and Kisara almost falls out of her chair. Seto catches her and helps her steady herself. "Th-thanks." She looks at Seto's expression and can tell he is still thinking about what he saw.

"Do you have to do this often?"

Kisara replies while getting to her feet and dusting herself off, "Others have stopped trying to hack our systems after I stepped into my role. Most, but not this one." Her and Seto watch the map as it zooms in around Germany but isn't able to pinpoint the exact location.

Zigfried-

Back at the KC Grand Championship, Seto wants to stay in that memory. Back when Kisara was awake, and they were happy. He wishes he could go back in time to kiss her right then and there. That way they would have wasted less time. He looks over at Zigfried and smiles coyly, "So you are Chariot Rider."

Zigfried waves mockingly, "Yes! It took you long enough to figure it out. But I don't think you were the one to block me all those times," He pauses for dramatic effect, "it must have been Kisara." Seto's gaze turns deadly while he continues, "All this time, I have been trying to catch up with your intelligence. But you appear to be leaning on your smarter subordinates for your success." Seto continues to stare at him with his same expression. Zigfried was clearly trying to bait him, but he wanted to see how much he actually knew. "Nothing to say Seto? I don't think I've ever heard you this quiet before." Seto starts to feel a chill down his spine. He has an urge to check on Kisara right now.

He activates his radio and talks into it, "Al, move Kisara to another room."

Al's voice is heard through his earpiece, "What, why?"

"Just do it!" He snaps, "Zigfried knows about her. I don't trust him or his people. I'm not letting her be captured again."

Back at Kaiba Corp HQ, Kisara sleeps soundly in her bed. Roland and a nurse are tentatively approaching her body. Roland suggested they try giving her adrenaline. The nurse didn't object, and administers it to her. Kisara twitches and brutally shakes. Her eyes shoot open, and she turns to face both of them. They shrink when they see pure uncontrollable rage in her eyes. Outside the door, Al is returning with coffee to Seto's office. He hears Kisara yell and a loud banging inside. He sighs then whips open the door and runs inside. He sees Kisara hunched over and standing in the middle of Seto's office. Her eyes look dead, and she huffs and puffs loudly while gripping her hospital bed for balance. Al takes the lead on the situation before it gets worse. Her attitude reminds him of when she first arrived and tore through his team. He glances at the coffee table and sees it's broken into two pieces. He assumes she split it with her bare hands, "Everybody out, now." Roland and the nurse leave with their heads down. Holiday rushes into the room and glances at Al. Al commands the doctor, "I said leave."

"It's fine Al. Dr. Doucheface can stay."

Dr. Holiday warily approaches her, "Hi Miss. Oatani, I'm Dr. Holiday. I've heard about your work. It is a pleasure to be treating you." She lifts her head unnaturally quick to stare at him. She thinks for moment, then says dryly, "I don't have the time or energy to deal with you." She swings her body toward the window and stares outside. Al signals for Dr. Holiday to take it slow. Al approaches her, "Kisara, you have to calm down."

Her head spins around and she replies in a dark distorted voice, "What do you think I'm doing right now Al? What is the situation? Where is Seto?"

"You need to rest; we will call him."

She grunts as if in pain and falls to her knees. Al tries to give her a hand, but she swats it away angrily, "Roland told me he was dueling someone. Who? I know it's important. I can get to him but if he is surrounded by people, I can't reveal my abilities."

Al nods understanding, "If that is the case, then yes. You can't go see him." Kisara shouts and punches a hole through the floor. Dr. Holiday watches eyes wide while Al tries to calm her. He knows she won't hurt him.

She wretches her fist out of the floorboards and tries to calm down her breathing, "What is the situation? We don't have much time before this wears off."

"What wears off?" Dr. Holiday interjects. He didn't mind her nick name earlier and eagerly awaits her answer as to why she was awake.

She gives him an icy glare, "Adrenaline. Thanks to those idiots I'm awake, angry, and when it wears off, I'll pass out again and be knocked out for longer. It's better if I don't take any while recovering."

"Fascinating." The doctor marvels while she keeps her glare.

"We are running out of time, Al." She struggles to her feet, "What is going on out there?"

Al doesn't skip a beat and understands she only has a small amount of time to listen, "We are hosting a tournament to celebrate the park's opening."

"Makes sense." She follows along and stumbles to sit at Seto's desk. Al would help her, but he doesn't want to get caught up in her anger. He can tell it's vast like a thrashing storm, especially without Seto to calm her down.

"We had a hacker infiltrate our systems and the event." Kisara logs into Seto's computer and starts to analyze their systems. Her face is damp with sweat, and she struggles to see the info in front of her.

"Did we find out who?" Kisara opens a wall of code and starts to type. She curses at her out of control fingers that cause her to delete a line riddled with errors.

She continues to type rapidly and answers the same time as Al, "Schroeder." Kisara's shoulders shoot up in the air while she stands. She grabs the top of Seto's chair and kicks through the window behind her. She yells and throws the chair with as much force as possible out the window. It lands down in the park below. It lands next to a man with a hoodie on. He flinches for a second, then reaches for the gun at his waist. They walk into the Kaiba Corp building. Meanwhile, Kisara stands breathing heavily, facing the window. She then struggles to turn back to the computer and starts to type rapidly while struggling to stand. Al states dryly, "You know I would have evacuated the whole building if I knew you would be like this."

The computer beeps and she tries to walk back to her bed. She finished locking out their systems for the time being. No one outside their organization was getting in for the next 24 hours. "I told you, the more adrenaline in my system, the angrier I get." Her eyes glow white while Dr. Holiday watches. Al is worried he saw, but Kisara doesn't pay him any attention. She falls to the ground and doesn't even try to stand up. Instead she lays down and faces the ceiling, her eyes' glow, but the light is blinking. She shuts them as if in pain. When they open again, they are normal, "I'll kill that stupid magenta son of a bitch."

"You know him?" Al asks. He watches over her, seeing her obvious scowl.

"Al, I need you take something down." She struggles to get up and makes her way back to the bed.

"I can call Seto. I'm sure he would drop the duel and come over right away."

"No. I would never ask Seto to forfeit a duel for me. Especially if he is kicking Schroeder's ass. I can feel the exhaustion, we need to move fast. Get a pen and paper."

"I can remember it."

She rolls her eyes, "Can you remember a list of journal entries each with their own identifier? For example, PR46:19?" Al stares at her blankly then reaches for a pen and paper on Seto's desk. Kisara sighs deeply, "I'm surrounded by idiots."

Back at the duel, "What is the matter, Seto? Afraid your beautiful subordinate wants to recover somewhere else?" Seto grinds his teeth. It looked like Zigfried didn't know about them professing their love for each other, which means he doesn't know she is really a dragon. But he still knew more than just looking her up on the Kaiba Corp website. "Maybe she wants to work somewhere else after she wakes up. After all, it is your fault she is hurt in the first place." Seto continues to evaluate Zigfried silently while the duel continues.

Seto eventually beats Zigfried. Once the duel is over, he gloats quietly so no one can hear. "You act like you know her. But no one knows her as well as I do. She may be asleep, but before she passed out, we talked. We will be together once she is awake."

"Are you sure about that?" Seto glares are him, "She may not be where you expect." Seto's eyes go wide, and he briskly walks to his car while Zigfried watches smirking. He tries to call HQ while Mokuba walks behind him. He receives no answer. He waits for Mokuba to get in the car, then drives fast to HQ.

When he arrives with Mokuba he is surprised to see the building in shambles. Several people are outside coughing up smoke. The fire department is there with large hoses to put out enormous flames. Seto springs towards the building before feeling a hand on his shoulder. He turns to see Al. He is bleeding from his temple. Seto can tell from his wound this isn't an accident. Al gets right to the point, "They took her."

"What?" Seto asks furious.

"We already checked the footage. One of our men was knocked out. Then a team of men took her while we were scrambling with the fire. We are finding them now." Al points to Haru behind him who types on a holo-pad. Seto is at a loss for words.

He wants to strangle Zigfried or punch Al, but all he says back is, "You better find her, or else. Use whatever means necessary." His mask of anger slips showing desperation for a second.

Al slowly continues, bracing for another angry reaction, "Seto, there is something else. She was awake during your duel."

"What?! You didn't call me?" His eyes are laser focused on Al. He, Dr. Holiday, and Haru all agreed Al would be the one to break the news to him. He continues explaining to try and change his reaction.

"She told us not to. She said she would never be the reason for you to forfeit a duel. She also wanted you to beat Schroder, she knew him." Seto's thoughts race while Al holds out a crumpled piece of paper. She knew Schroeder. "She told us to give you this. She told you to go to the cabin and find the brown book. Inside are her journals. They can help you learn more about him. She also told me to tell you, she is sorry."

Seto thinks while Haru joins them. He grabs him by the collar, "Find Kisara." He lets him go then hands him his Blue Eyes White Dragon bracelet. "Here is my tracker. You can track hers from a console in her apartment. It is in a silver briefcase in her linen closet." Haru doesn't wait for more instructions and leaves. Seto calls after him, "Let me know when you find her!" He then walks toward the garage with Al trailing behind.

"Seto! Where are you going?"

Seto climbs in and rolls down the window to speak, "Get your best guys together. Suit them up. When he hear from Haru, we move out. I'm going to learn what I can." He rolls up the window while Mokuba climbs in the passenger seat. They drive to the cabin.
