This is another Short Chapter; I just couldn't think of what else to add.

Shirou watched as Fiona started scratching herself uncontrollably.

"What's wrong Fiona?" he asked.

"I don't know, it just itches really bad." she said.

Shirou went to get a closer look and was surprised by what he saw under Fiona's fur.

"Okay, I have bad news and worse news." said Shirou.

"Okay? What is it?" asked Fiona.

"You have fleas." Shirou stated.

"Okay, and?" Fiona asked for him to continue.

"They're Mobian Fleas." Shirou finished at he stared at a flea wearing a Hawaiian shirt as it proceeded to bite Fiona who started scratching again.

After going to the local pet shop to get flea and tick shampoo and bathing Fiona as he heard tiny screams going down the drain. He thought to himself of how absurd the situation was where he had to think over the ethical implications of killing sentient fleas.

Shirou then watched as Fiona wagged her tail in contentment. He noted that Mobians still retained some animal behaviors that they would occasionally do. Some would eat things that their animal counterparts would even though they were fully capable of eating human foods, gorilla's would pound their chests and kangaroos would put their joeys in their pouches and so on. He wondered if there were behaviors that Fiona retained from her animal heritage?

"Hey Shirou, can we go back to the Great Forest? There's something I want to show you." Fiona asked him.

The Great Forest

Shirou and Fiona walked through the forest and passed by a gathering of Wisps playing with Chao. The wisps were strange as they floated through the air like flying jellyfish. Shirou didn't know how they did that whether it was that their bodies were lighter than air or if it was thanks to some alien physics.

Fiona brought him to a tree that seemed no different from the others save for a crawl-space that was too small for him to fit in.

"When I was a little girl this is where I lived." said Fiona.

"I remember after breaking out of that damn cell and meeting Nic I eventually found my way back here only to find out that my parents were gone. I remember crying, then getting mad but now I don't know what I'd say If I ever saw them again. Maybe I'd ask them why they didn't wait for me?" Fiona finished with a sad look on her face.

Shirou subconsciously started petting her until he realized what he was doing and pulled his hand away.

"I didn't say stop." said Fiona with a blush.

Then her ear twitched as she seemed to hear something not too far away.

"Happy Birthday Tails!" shouted the group that was gathered for Tails' Birthday.

The Freedom Fighters were there, so were Sonic's Parents along with Tails' parents, Mina, Hope, Cream, Cheese, T-pup, Echo and even Shadow. Sonic had also brought his pets, Muttski, Thorny and Omochao.

There was a mint-flavored cake with twelve candles lit on top.

"Make a wish Tails!" said Sonic with a grin.

Tails blew out the candles with a smile.

Fiona at it with an expression full of sadness and longing.

Then her presence was given away by Sonic's mobini dog, Muttski. Who approached her and began to lick her face. Mina, Rotor and Hope looked at her with unease. Jules, Bernadette, Amadeus, Rosemary and Bunnie had angry looks on their faces. Sally looked at her with distrust.

"Um, hey guys!" Fiona said awkwardly.

As she noticed most of the people present were scowling at her she looked down in shame as her ears flattened.

"I know I've been a bad girl. But could you please give me another chance?" Fiona pleaded holding her tail in her hands nervously.

She was then hugged by Hope and Mina.

"Aww, thanks guys!" said Fiona.

Then she remembered Bunnie.

"I'm glad you're here Bunnie, I was scared cause for a while I thought that you were working for The Dark Egg Legion." said Fiona.

But Bunnie didn't answer, she only glared at her.

"What's wrong?" Fiona asked.

"What's wrong is that you almost killed mah Uncle Beauregard!" Bunnie yelled.

Fiona didn't remember bombing any living quarters, except for that of one individual.

"Wait, the Baron was your Uncle?!" asked Fiona.

"Yes!" Bunnie said angrily.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't know." Fiona explained.

Then she realized that someone was missing.

"Wait where's Antoine?" Fiona asked.

Everyone seemed to wince at the question.

"He's in a coma because he got blown up fightin' Metal Sonic while you were busy chasin' that Green Bastard!" Bunnie yelled.

Fiona remembered the last time she had seen Antoine and how he had questioned why she had betrayed her own World only for her to retort by accusing him of being no better than her and that he wanted to marry Sally for The Crown. Her time with Scourge and the Suppression Squad had poisoned her mind into thinking that deep down the Freedom Fighters were the same as their evil counterparts.

Fiona began to cry at the memory as she ran over to Shirou who crouched down and held her sympathetically.

Later at the Apartment

Shirou was in bed when he was stirred awake by Fiona who couldn't sleep.

"Can't sleep?" asked Shirou.

"I had another nightmare. Can I sleep with you?" asked Fiona.

"Alright." Said Shirou.

Fiona climbed into the bed and cuddled up next to him. As they went back to sleep Shirou heard her begin to purr softly.

Ending Short: Cellphone

Shirou came out of the bathroom only to see Fiona playing with his new cellphone curiously.

While The Republic of Acorn had some technologies that were far more advanced than anything The United Federation had they were still behind in some developments. Hence the reason that Fiona was utterly mystified by his cellphone.

"Aww, it has a password lock." Fiona whined in frustration.

Off-Panel: Flea Killer

Shirou stood at the counter in the pet-store staring at the clerk.

"Uhh, does killing flees count as self-defence?" he asked awkwardly.

"Excuse me?" the woman asked with a raised eyebrow.
