The others entered the cabin first, their footsteps echoing softly on the creaky wooden floor. When it was my turn, I approached the door and quickly realized the space wasn't built for something of my size. I had to duck down and lean forward, maneuvering my massive form just to get through the doorway. The ceiling was low, and I could feel my spines brushing against the rafters.

Once inside, I remained near the entrance, standing awkwardly in a hunched position to avoid breaking through the walls or ceiling. It wasn't comfortable, but it would do for now. My presence alone seemed to fill most of the cabin, while the others moved around, inspecting the place.

Leon looked over at me and raised an eyebrow. "Cozy, huh?"

Chris smirked, trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah, might need to do some remodeling for you."

Jill checked one of the nearby rooms. "At least it's sturdy enough for now."

Claire started gathering what little furniture was left, dragging it to the center. "We'll make it work. It's not like we've got better options."

I didn't respond, simply staying where I was, my gaze shifting to the windows as I kept watch for any signs of danger. Whatever discomfort I had from squeezing into the small space didn't matter. What mattered was keeping the group safe and preparing for whatever came next.
