The group moved cautiously around the cabin, their weapons drawn, ready for anything. When we reached the back, there it was—a large, person-sized box with "Medical Supplies" clearly printed on the side, just as I had said.

I stood behind the group, towering over them in my human form, still imposing compared to their height. My gaze shifted to the two women at the front—Jill and Claire—who were inspecting the box. With a slight smirk, I gestured to them, my voice calm as ever.

"Ladies first," I said, the hint of dry humor in my tone.

Claire gave me a sideways glance, shaking her head but smiling slightly. "How generous of you."

Jill, crouching near the box, examined it closely. "No signs of tampering… but it still feels too easy."

Chris stepped forward, standing beside them. "Only one way to find out." He reached for the lid but paused, waiting for Jill's nod of approval.

"Go ahead," she said, standing up and stepping back slightly, ready in case anything happened.

Leon kept his eyes on the surroundings, watching for any movement or signs of a trap. The atmosphere was tense, but no one seemed willing to back down. Everyone knew they needed those supplies if we were going to keep moving forward.

Chris slowly lifted the lid of the box, revealing a collection of medical gear—bandages, syringes, antibiotics, and even some first-aid kits.

Claire blinked in disbelief. "Huh. It's actually real."

Jill looked over the contents, her suspicion still lingering. "Maybe too real. Why would anyone leave this here? And in such perfect condition?"

Leon shrugged. "Maybe someone didn't make it back in time to use it. We're lucky."

I stayed silent, my arms crossed as I watched them. There was always a chance it was a setup, but for now, it looked like the group had gotten a rare break.
