Author notes: okay so I will be continuing the story here as I will write the rest of what happens from what I had planned here. Now for those who might be questioning what's in store, I have a different version of a war in mind in the future. There won't be an alliance as that's all I will say.
Now for those who were confused with tobi here being killed off by haku that was actually the zetsu clone that had saved obito when he was a kid and they first found him in the cave, not obito himself.
Also to thor94 I'm sorry again how I had planned out Naruto's victory. Also if u are wondering when he does catch a solo dub that will be against two other uchiha I haven't shown yet in this story and a potential person that I haven't wrote yet.. Now off to the story.
In the hospital Naruto and Haku were catching up with Mei and Zabuza as they were still surprised by Naruto and Haku's news about having a family as Mei and Zabuza decided to give them space to rest up as they had a lot of work to do.
Mei paused at the door, her hand resting on the frame as she turned back to Naruto and Haku. "I'll be checking on the village first, then performing an autopsy on Madara's body to see if we can learn anything more."
Naruto's brow furrowed in confusion. "Madara's body? But… I saw his body fade away after the fight. How is that possible?"
Zabuza, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, chimed in. "You must've been exhausted from the battle, kid. Ao found what we think is Madara's body by the beach after everything was over. You probably passed out from all the fighting."
Naruto looked skeptical but then nodded. "I guess that makes sense… but there's something else. While I was fighting him, I learned that he wasn't Madara at all. His real identity is Obito Uchiha." His voice was firm, but a shadow passed over his expression as he remembered the shocking revelation.
Mei's eyes widened slightly. "Obito Uchiha? She glanced over at Zabuza, her face a mix of shock and concern.
Zabuza's brow furrowed as well. "That's… unexpected. We all assumed it was Madara, especially with the way he controlled the Rinnegan and the tailed beasts. Obito Uchiha should've been dead years ago."
"Yeah, that's what I thought too," Naruto said, his voice heavy. "But he revealed himself during the fight. He's the one who attacked the village when I was born, the one responsible for the death of my parents." There was a deep sadness in Naruto's voice, but he remained calm, knowing that he had to stay strong for everyone.
Mei crossed her arms, deep in thought. "If this is true, it changes everything. I'll still examine the body to confirm, but knowing it's Obito means we'll have to revisit all of our assumptions about the Akatsuki's motives." She took a deep breath and gave Naruto and Haku a reassuring smile. "You did well, Naruto. You've uncovered something that could help us understand the bigger picture."
Naruto nodded, grateful for her words, though still processing everything that had happened. "Thanks, Mei. But I couldn't have done it without everyone's help. I just hope we can finally bring an end to all this fighting."
Mei smiled softly. "We will. For now, rest and recover. I'll handle the investigation and keep you informed." She turned to leave, her gaze shifting to Zabuza. "Come on, we've got work to do."
Zabuza gave Naruto a firm nod before following Mei out of the room. As the door closed behind them, Naruto looked back at Haku, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. "No matter what happens next, we'll face it together."
Haku smiled softly, her hand resting on her stomach. "Always."
Mei and Zabuza walked out of the hospital, their pace steady but tense as they noticed the three tailed beasts lingering in the distance near the shoreline. Their massive forms loomed quietly, creating an eerie yet calm atmosphere over the water.
Ao approached them, his expression serious. "Mei, what are we going to do about them?" He gestured toward the tailed beasts, clearly concerned about the potential threat they could pose to the village.
Mei stopped and studied the beasts for a moment, her arms crossed. "As long as they aren't causing any problems, we don't need to take any drastic action. But we'll have to wait for Naruto to rest up and decide how to handle them. He's the one who saved them, after all." Her tone was calm but firm, confident in Naruto's ability to manage the situation.
Ao sighed in relief but still looked uneasy. "Let's hope they stay quiet until then. The villagers are on edge after everything that's happened."
Mei nodded. "I understand. Keep an eye on them, but don't provoke them." She glanced at Zabuza, who was scanning the horizon, then turned back to Ao. "Now, lead me to where you found this body. I need to see for myself if Naruto's information is correct. He says this 'Madara' is actually Obito Uchiha."
Ao's eyes widened in shock. "Obito Uchiha?"
Mei's expression remained serious. "That's what we need to confirm. Naruto wouldn't lie about something like this."
Zabuza grunted in agreement, his usual stoic demeanor only slightly shaken by the news. "Let's get this over with. The sooner we know the truth, the better we can prepare for whatever comes next."
Ao nodded, though still clearly rattled by the revelation, and led Mei and Zabuza toward the area where Madara—or rather, Obito—had been found.
Naruto and Haku sat comfortably together in the hospital, enjoying a quiet moment after everything they had been through. Naruto gently held Haku's hand, the weight of all that had happened slowly lifting from his shoulders. They exchanged small smiles, relieved to have a moment of peace.
Just then, the door creaked open, and both Gaara and Tsunade walked in. Naruto's eyes widened with surprise. "Tsunade-baachan! What are you doing here?" he asked, sitting up straighter in his bed, trying to shake off the stiffness from his injuries.
Tsunade smiled warmly, a mixture of pride and concern in her eyes. "I heard about what you did, Naruto. You've been through a lot, and I'm here to check on you. I'm proud of you for defeating Madara." Her tone was soft but carried the weight of everything he had accomplished.
Gaara stepped forward, his usual calm demeanor hiding the relief he felt. "I'm glad you're okay, Naruto. We heard about your fight with Madara, and to be honest, I was worried something might have happened to you." His voice was sincere, showing just how much he cared for his friend.
Naruto chuckled lightly, though there was a tinge of weariness in his voice. "Yeah, it was rough… but I had help." He glanced at Haku, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "I couldn't have done it alone."
Tsunade raised an eyebrow, looking over at Haku, then back to Naruto. "Well, you've always had a way of bringing people together. You never fight alone, even when things get tough."
Naruto leaned forward slightly, looking at Tsunade with a serious expression. "Tsunade-baachan, there's something I need to tell you. The Madara I fought—it wasn't really Madara. It was Obito Uchiha."
Tsunade's eyes widened in shock. "Obito? One of Kakashi's teammates?" She couldn't believe it. "How is that possible? He was supposed to be dead…"
Naruto nodded solemnly. "Yeah, that's what everyone thought. But he survived, and he was behind everything. During his final moments, he… he gave me something." Naruto reached into his pouch and pulled out the small jar containing the Sharingan Obito had gifted him. "This is Kakashi-sensei's Mangekyo Sharingan. Obito gave it to me before he died… He said it was a gift to help me protect others."
Tsunade was silent for a moment, absorbing this information. Her gaze softened as she looked at the jar, then back at Naruto. "I see… That's quite a burden, Naruto. But if anyone can handle it, it's you."
Naruto's expression darkened slightly. "Tsunade-baachan… why didn't you tell me about Kakashi-sensei? About him dying when Pain attacked the village? I had to hear it from Obito during the fight." There was a hint of pain in his voice, the sadness still fresh even though Kakashi had been revived.
Tsunade let out a heavy sigh. "Naruto… I didn't want to add to the weight you were already carrying. You've faced so much, and at the time, I wasn't sure if telling you would have helped or hurt you. When Kakashi was brought back… I thought maybe it was best to let you focus on the present, not the pain of the past."
Naruto looked down, understanding her reasoning but still feeling the sting of being kept in the dark. "I get it… but it hurt finding out like that. I just wish I'd known."
Tsunade nodded, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Naruto. I should have trusted you with the truth. But know that you're not alone in this. You have your friends, your comrades… and now, you have Kakashi's Sharingan to help guide you."
Naruto sighed, looking at the jar in his hands again. "Yeah… I'll make sure to use it well. For Kakashi-sensei… and for Obito too. They both deserve that." He glanced over at Haku, who was listening quietly beside him, offering silent support.
Tsunade studied Naruto closely as she asked, "So, have you decided yet, Naruto? Are you going to get the surgery to have the Sharingan implanted? Or are you still thinking it over?"
Naruto looked at the jar in his hand, holding Kakashi's Sharingan, before meeting Tsunade's eyes. "I've decided I want to have it implanted but I want to give it a little more thought into it ," he said after a moment. "Also it's not about power. It's about keeping a memory of Kakashi-sensei with me… something to remind me of who he was and everything he taught me." His expression was serious, determined.
"But using it for power?" Naruto shook his head. "I'm only going to do that when it's about protecting my friends. I don't want to be like the Uchiha who use the Sharingan for destruction, for revenge. I want to use it to protect. To save people. That's what Kakashi-sensei would have wanted."
Tsunade gave him a small smile, clearly proud of his maturity and understanding. "That's a wise choice, Naruto. Kakashi would be proud of you for that." She placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'll make sure the surgery is done carefully, but remember, this is a big responsibility. You're not just inheriting an eye—you're inheriting the will of someone important to you."
Naruto nodded. "I know. I won't take it lightly. I'll carry Kakashi-sensei's will… and I'll use this power to protect the people I care about, just like he did." He looked over at Haku, who smiled softly in support.
Tsunade's expression softened. "Good. Then whenever you feel like you want to have it implanted I'll prepare for the surgery once you've fully made a decision." She glanced at Haku, then back at Naruto. "And I'm glad to see you're both alright. You've been through a lot, but it looks like you're still standing."
Naruto smiled. "Yeah… I've got a lot to fight for. I won't give up."
Gaara smiled faintly at Naruto, his usual stoic expression softening just a little. "Naruto," he began, "when you're feeling better, I expect us to share a meal together. It's been too long since we've sat down as friends without the weight of the world on our shoulders."
Naruto grinned widely, his energy lifting despite his injuries. "You got it, Gaara! I'll hold you to that. I bet you haven't had Ichiraku Ramen in a while, huh?"
Gaara chuckled lightly, surprising even himself. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure of trying it," he admitted.
Naruto's eyes widened in mock disbelief. "What?! We have to fix that as soon as I feel better!"
Gaara nodded. "Then it's settled. Once you're fully recovered, we'll meet for that meal. But until then… rest up. You've more than earned it." He placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder for a brief moment before turning to leave with Tsunade.
As Gaara walked out, Naruto felt a warmth of friendship that carried him through his exhaustion. "Thanks, Gaara," he called out after him. "I'll see you soon!"
Gaara glanced back, nodding with a small smile. "Count on it."
Naruto leaned back against his pillows, still feeling the exhaustion but curious about something that had been on his mind. "Hey, Tsunade… how's Ero-Sennin?" he asked, using his familiar nickname for Jiraiya. "I haven't heard from him in a while. I know I've been busy, but… is he alright?"
Tsunade smiled fondly at the mention of Jiraiya. "He's doing just fine," she reassured him.
Naruto sighed in relief, a grin spreading across his face. "I bet he'll have a lot to say about everything that's happened." He looked out the window, his mind wandering for a moment. "I'll have to ask him for some more training… once all this craziness is over."
Tsunade nodded. "I'm sure he'll be more than happy to oblige. After all, you've grown a lot since you last trained with him, but there's always more to learn."
As Tsunade took a sip of water from the table, Haku glanced over at Naruto and then back at her. With a soft smile, she said, "Actually, Lady Tsunade… I have some news to share."
Tsunade, distracted by her drink, casually asked, "Oh? What is it?"
Haku's smile widened as she took Naruto's hand and said, "I'm pregnant. Naruto and I… we're going to have a child."
The news hit Tsunade so unexpectedly that she spat out her water in shock, her eyes widening as she processed what she had just heard. "W-What?!" she exclaimed, wiping her mouth in disbelief. "You're pregnant?!"
Naruto, looking slightly embarrassed but smiling, nodded. "Yeah… I guess we're going to be parents."
Tsunade blinked rapidly, still trying to wrap her mind around the news. "I… I wasn't expecting this," she muttered, clearly surprised but gradually breaking into a smile. "Well… I guess congratulations are in order!" She laughed softly, shaking her head in disbelief. "You two never cease to surprise me."
Haku blushed, her hand still tightly holding Naruto's. "Thank you, Lady Tsunade. We're both really happy."
Naruto grinned, clearly overjoyed despite everything that had happened recently. "Yeah, we are."
Tsunade's expression softened as she looked at the two of them. "You'll be great parents," she said with a warm smile, her tone filled with pride. "Just make sure you both take it easy and focus on recovering first. There's a lot more ahead."
Naruto nodded eagerly, and Haku smiled warmly, knowing they had a lot to look forward to.
At the beach, Mei, Zabuza, Ao, and a group of medical examiners gathered around Obito's lifeless body. The scene was somber, with the remains of the intense battle still fresh in everyone's minds. One of the medical examiners carefully took a blood sample from Obito while others focused on his eyes, observing the weakened state of his Sharingan.
Ao, studying the dull glow of Obito's eyes, commented, "The Sharingan's almost useless now… it's too weak." He straightened up and glanced at Mei, waiting for her decision.
Mei folded her arms, her gaze cold and calculated. "I have no intention of keeping it," she said firmly. "The Uchiha's reputation precedes them, and I'm not interested in bringing their legacy into the Mist Village."
Zabuza, standing silently beside her, gave a slight grunt of approval. "We don't need their power here," he added gruffly, his eyes narrowing as he looked down at Obito's body. "It's caused enough trouble already."
One of the medical examiners, still analyzing Obito's condition, hesitated before speaking. "We'll continue the autopsy, but it's clear this man was past his prime. His abilities were deteriorating even before his death."
Mei nodded, her expression resolute. "Good. Once the examination is complete, we'll dispose of the body properly. No need to hold onto relics of the past." She glanced at Ao and Zabuza, silently confirming that the Mist would move forward without the burden of the Uchiha's cursed power.
Ao, relieved by her decision, added, "I'll make sure everything is handled, Lady Mizukage. We don't need anything from this."
Mei turned and looked back toward the village, which still bore scars from the Akatsuki's attack. "Our focus should be on rebuilding," she said softly, but with determination. "Not on trying to replicate the power that nearly destroyed us." With that, they left the examiners to continue their work as they began to head back toward the village, ready to move on from the chaos Obito and the Akatsuki had left behind.
As Mei and Zabuza made their way back from the beach, Mei spotted Tsunade walking toward them. Tsunade greeted her with a smile, "I've already checked up on Naruto. He's doing alright, thankfully."
Mei sighed in relief, her shoulders relaxing a little as she slowed her pace. "That's good to hear," she replied, her voice soft but carrying the weight of her relief after the battle.
Tsunade's smile turned mischievous as she added, "Oh, and it looks like im going to be a godmother not just to Naruto, but to his kids as well!" She winked at Mei, clearly enjoying her teasing.
Mei raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement tugging at her lips. "They grow up so fast." She chuckled lightly. "Well, I suppose we'll see what kind of children Naruto and Haku bring into this world."
Zabuza, walking silently beside them, grunted. "Knowing Naruto, they'll probably be a handful." Despite his gruff tone, there was a faint smirk on his face.
Mei glanced at him, her amusement growing. "And knowing Haku, they'll probably be well-behaved and strong." She turned back to Tsunade. "But who knows? I suppose we'll just have to wait and see."
Tsunade chuckled. "It'll definitely be interesting, that's for sure. I'm just glad Naruto made it through all of this. After everything he's done, he deserves some peace—and a family to look after."
Mei nodded, her expression softening. "He's earned it, no doubt. And Haku too. After all they've been through, they deserve a life of happiness."
As the group continued walking, the air between them lightened, a moment of reprieve from the chaos that had gripped them for so long.
Tsunade's expression grew more serious as they walked. "Mei, I need to ask you for a favor," she said, glancing at her. Mei turned to her with a curious look, listening intently.
"I've made the decision to leave the Hidden Leaf for a while," Tsunade continued, her voice heavy with the weight of her choice. "The situation with the Uchiha is out of control, and I can't risk the lives of my people without a solid plan. I need time to regroup and figure out a proper response. For now, I'd rather stay safe and protect what remains of my family."
Mei raised an eyebrow but remained silent, waiting for Tsunade to finish.
"I was wondering if you'd allow me—and Jiraiya, of course—to stay here in the Hidden Mist for the time being. We'll do whatever we can to help you, and this would give us the chance to plan in safety. Plus, we'll keep an eye on Naruto as he recovers," Tsunade explained.
Mei thought for a moment, her arms crossed in contemplation. She could see the exhaustion in Tsunade's eyes, the weight of her responsibility bearing down on her. After a few moments of silence, Mei nodded. "Of course, Tsunade. You're welcome to stay here as long as you need. Having you and Jiraiya in the Mist Village would be an honor, and we could use all the help we can get."
Tsunade let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding, gratitude evident in her face. "Thank you, Mei. This means more to me than you know."
Mei smiled softly. "We're allies, and besides, we're going to need every ounce of strength we can get for whatever comes next. You and Jiraiya will always have a place here."
As they walked through the village, whispers filled the air, a blend of admiration and excitement from the villagers. "Did you hear about the Demon Flash? He fought against Madara and won!" one villager exclaimed to another. "Where is he now? I want to see him!"
Zabuza smirked at the chatter. "It looks like Naruto's made quite the impression on the villagers. I wouldn't be surprised if they plan another celebration for him. They must be in awe of his abilities."
Mei nodded, a proud smile forming on her lips. "He deserves it. After everything he's been through, it's good for the village to recognize his efforts and sacrifices."
Just then, Chojuro approached, a bright smile on his face as he spotted Mei. "Mei! How are you doing?" he greeted warmly before his expression shifted to something more serious. "When do you plan on celebrating Naruto's accomplishment? The whole village is eager to congratulate him!"
Mei considered Chojuro's words, her heart swelling with pride for her subordinate and the young hero who had fought so bravely. "I think we should organize something soon. He's been through so much, and it's important for the village to come together to show their support. Besides, after all this chaos, we could all use a reason to celebrate."
Zabuza chimed in, a hint of mischief in his voice. "You know how much Naruto loves a good party. It wouldn't be a proper celebration without some lively tunes."
Mei chuckled at Zabuza's comment, imagining the energetic atmosphere the celebration would create. "That sounds perfect. Let's make it a day to remember—one that shows our unity and strength as a village."
As they continued their discussion, they could see villagers gathering and whispering, excitement palpable in the air. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, and it felt as though the entire village was rallying behind their hero, eager to express their gratitude and admiration for Naruto's bravery.
Tsunade turned to Mei, her expression serious yet grateful. "I'll be heading back to the Hidden Leaf Village shortly. I need to gather some supplies and bring Jiraiya along with me. There's a lot we need to discuss, especially regarding the Uchiha situation and our next steps."
Mei nodded, her concern evident. "Just be careful on your way back. The roads might not be safe, especially with everything that's happened recently. If you run into any trouble or need assistance, don't hesitate to ask for help. The Hidden Mist will always have your back."
Tsunade appreciated Mei's words and the solidarity they shared. "Thank you, Mei. It means a lot knowing we have each other's support, especially during these turbulent times. I'll keep in touch and let you know how things are going."
Zabuza, who had been listening quietly, chimed in. "We'll make sure to keep things in order here while you're gone. If anything arises, we'll send word immediately."
Tsunade smiled at Zabuza's reassurance. "I know I can count on you both. Just keep an eye on Naruto and Haku as well; they'll need all the support they can get."
With their plans set, Tsunade took a moment to reflect on everything that had transpired. The weight of leadership was heavy, but she felt a renewed sense of purpose and determination. The bond between the villages was strengthening, and together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As they prepared to part ways, Mei reached out and embraced Tsunade, a gesture of friendship and understanding. "Take care of yourself, Tsunade. We'll be waiting for your return."
"You too, Mei. Let's work together to ensure our villages remain safe and strong," Tsunade replied, stepping back with a firm nod.
With that, Tsunade turned to leave, her mind already strategizing the path ahead as Mei and Zabuza exchanged hopeful glances, ready to do their part in the rebuilding and recovery of their home. The Hidden Mist Village was slowly healing, and with Naruto and Haku's new beginnings on the horizon, the future looked promising.
