It was a rather awkward walk back to the dorms from Recovery Girl's office.

Midoriya and Jirou were joined by Uraraka, Ilda and Yaoyorozu. As much as they wanted to walk together as a couple back to their dorm rooms, they knew there was no way they were going to tell their friends to leave them alone. It would have been rude and also suspicious - plus, with it already being 45 minutes since class had officially ended, they were off to a late start to the weekend.

"What are you all doing this weekend? Besides studying and homework," Uraraka said, glancing over at Ilda after the last part.

"I plan on staying here for the weekend," Yaoyorozu answered, with Ilda nodding in agreement.

"Us too," Jirou said, looking over at Midoriya.

The conversation went silent rather quickly.

"Jirou, what do you mean by 'us?'" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Oh, Kyouka and I were discussing our weekend plans while in Recovery Girl's office, so I guess she's speaking for both of us!" Midoriya fumbled together a quick answer, leading Jirou to give a subdued nod to affirm.

"I suppose that makes sense, then," Yaoyorozu said.

Jirou felt her skin crawl. She knew Yaoyorozu well enough to sense her rare sarcastic responses. And, for as hellbent as she was for keeping her relationship a secret, she was not doing a good job of hiding it at all, in her eyes.

"Maybe we can all hang out tonight then! Especially since us girls weren't here last Friday night," Uraraka suggested.

"Sounds fun to me, I'm in!" Midoriya said with a smile.

Jirou and Yaoyorozu also agreed to join in. Ilda, on the other hand, said it would depend on whether he had free time to join them. Once they arrived back at the dorms, they all returned to their respective rooms, ready to unpack and decompress for the weekend.

Once Midoriya was settled, he went over to his desk with his 'Hero Analysis for the Future' journal. Turning through the pages to reach Kyouka Jirou's section, he scanned through the information he had already written, and added the new move she had used in their battle together - 'Heartbeat Distortion.' In addition to the written analysis, Midoriya also shaded the amplifiers on her hands, which was his way of emphasizing the power of the equipment and the move.

Just as Midoriya was wrapping up his additions, someone knocked on his door. Closing the journal and placing it in a drawer in his desk, Midoriya got up from his chair, as he walked over to see who was there.

"Oh, Kyouka, is everything alright?" Midoriya asked.

Without saying a word, Jirou quickly entered his room, and shut his door immediately as well.

"Everything's fine, don't worry. I just didn't want anyone to see me in your hall - Yaomomo was just walking by."

"Oh, makes sense."

Jirou went over and sat down on his chair next to his desk. Midoriya, meanwhile, walked over and sat on the side of his bed.

"Sorry about my slip up back there. I've been doing a shitty job trying to keep our relationship a secret. And... I think Yaomomo is suspicious of us," Jirou said.

"It's nothing to worry about," Midoriya said. "But what makes you think that about Yaoyorozu?"

"I've known her long enough to know when she's figured something out. It's just a gut feeling, y'know?"

Midoriya nodded and placed his hand under his chin. "Now that you mention it, I ran in to her during that training session. She mentioned about you knowing about this wall jump move I do... could that be related?"

Jirou felt her face heat up. She sighed, not even wanting to consider the ramifications of another person knowing of their relationship already.

"I'm just not ready for people to know about us yet, Izuku," Jirou said. "I just feel like it would be a disaster if certain people knew... Mineta, Hagakure, Ashido, and... oh shit, what if our parents find out? Oh crap, oh crap, oh - "

Jirou was interrupted by a swift hug from Midoriya. The two shared the embrace, allowing Jirou to calm down and get her mind off of her concerns.

"I agree, Kyouka, I just want us to enjoy ourselves for now. We'll worry about that other stuff later," Midoriya said.

"Thanks so much," Jirou said.

After a few more moments, the two of them separated, returning back to their original spots. They both felt an adrenaline rush from their hug.

"Oh, I almost forgot. The reason I wanted to see you now was because I had an idea for our Cultural Festival performance," Jirou said.

"I haven't been able to think of anything, honestly, so please tell me your idea!" Midoriya said.

"Well, we've known each other long enough to know we're both really passionate about something. For me, it's music. For you, it's heroes. So, for the Cultural Festival... how about we make a song about heroes and play it together? I-If, that's what you want to do, of course..." Jirou said.

Despite her hesitations, Jirou was pleasantly surprised to see Midoriya light up at her suggestion. She felt a little more relaxed upon seeing that he was accepting of her idea.

"That's a great idea! But do you think we should sing 'Heroes Are Dope' since that's already a song about heroes?" Midoriya asked.

Jirou had a feeling that Midoriya would suggest that. She tried to think of the best way to explain her thought process to him.

"I mean, we could if you want to. I was thinking that making our own song would be better since it would be more creative - and since it's a talent show, it might be received better by everyone. But what's your opinion of it?" Jirou said.

"I'd love to do it! I think making our own song will be harder, but I think it will be worth it. Do you think that I will be good enough to do it, though? I mean, you'll be p-perfect, but I barely know how to play the bass..." Midoriya said.

Now it was Jirou who stood up and walked over to Midoriya. She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug.

"You'll do great, Izuku. I'll teach you everything in time for it, I promise. We can go over to my house one night next week, too," Jirou assured him.

"Then let's do it," Midoriya said, too engrossed in the hug to even worry at that point.

The two of them then separated. Both were happy, yet relieved, that they had their idea for the Cultural Festival. The last thing they wanted was to be stressing about it at the last moment, not knowing what to do.

"You sure do love your hugs, Kyouka."

"And I know you love my hugs, Izuku."

After spending most of the afternoon together, Jirou left Midoriya's room, just before it would be time to go down to the common area. Kirishima had told everyone in the group chat (in all caps, of course) to come down and hang out at 6:00pm. It was safe to say that the building would be rocking soon enough.

Although Jirou would have loved to walk down with Midoriya, they were both smart enough to know what it would likely insinuate. So, they had agreed to come down at different times, all in an attempt to make their relationship look less obvious.

A few minutes before it was 6:00pm, Jirou went down to the common area. She had changed out of her school uniform, opting to wear a dark purple hoodie, which was one of her favorite things to wear. Among those who were already there included Kirashima, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu, Mineta, Uraraka and Bakugou. Yaoyorozu gave a wave to Jirou, leading Jirou to walk over to join her and Kirashima.

After greeting one another, Jirou then nearly gasped upon realizing what Kirashima was setting up. It was a giant speaker that laid against the wall that was the furthest away from the television. Kirashima then plugged it in, leading him to grin as it turned on.

"Pretty gnarly speaker, huh?" Kirashima asked.

"I paid for it, Shitty Hair!" Bakugou chirped back.

"That's absolutely insane," Jirou said. "Do you even realize how loud that's gonna be?"

"Meh, who cares!" Kirashima yelled, as he turned on a playlist from his phone.

The music then began to blare all throughout the building. Ilda began yelling from his room to turn it down, although no one was able to hear him despite his best efforts. Kirashima did turn down the volume several notches, and although it was still loud, it was at least somewhat pleasant to listen to unlike when he had first turned it on.

"That's one of the craziest speakers I've ever seen! And I've tried out a lot of them!" Jirou had to practically yell.

Satou then entered the room carrying a pizza tray - although there was no pizza on it. There were a few appetizer-style dishes on it that he had presumably made for all of the students to share. Uraraka and Kaminari ran over to partake in the food first - the plates on the table included yakitori, shrimp, edamame and karaage chicken. The two of them nearly screamed upon seeing the feast before their eyes.

The clock then struck 6:00pm and more students were starting to come downstairs. Asui, Ashido, Todoroki, Tokoyami and Midoriya were among those who had joined them next, all greeting everyone as they entered the room.

After a few more moments passed, the only people who had not joined them were Ilda (who was studying) and Koda (who had left for the weekend to volunteer at a zoo). Kaminari started an impromptu Mario Kart tournament, which attracted almost all of the students to join, although there were only four controllers. Therefore, the winner of the race would get to keep racing, while the other three rotated each race. Ashido, meanwhile, was on the other side of the room with Hagakure and Asui, as they watched the sunset from the window together.

As the party progressed, Midoriya and Jirou finally found themselves together for the first time that night. Joining them were Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and surprisingly, Bakugou.

"I'm shocked you lost that race to Tokoyami, Kacchan," Midoriya quipped.

"Can it, Deku! I only lost because that stupid Bird Brain got a lucky blue shell!" Bakugou yelled, hoping Tokoyami heard him. "Once I get back on there, I'm gonna fucking - "

"So anyways, can we all agree that Kirashima should never pick the playlist again?" Jirou interrupted Bakugou, who was now too focused on the race to even care about where the conversation was going.

There was no need to worry about a retort from Kirashima at the moment - partially because the music was so loud, but also because he was neck and neck with Tokoyami for the lead of their race.

"Agreed!" Uraraka yelled.

"Yeah, how about a rock playlist instead?" Midoriya chimed in.

"No surprise there," Yaoyorozu muttered, although Jirou had heard her and scowled.

Jirou then stuck out her right earphone jack towards Yaoyorozu.

"Wanna say that louder, Yaomomo?" Jirou said with extra ire.

But before she could get an answer, they were interrupted by a cheer from Tokoyami. He had won his second race in a row.

Yaoyorozu and Bakugou left to go join the next race, along with Satou, who had a chance to take a quick break from being in the kitchen. That left Midoriya, Jirou and Uraraka together, although Aoyama had now joined them.

"Tokoyami is quite the fraudeur, I must say," Aoyama said.

Although Jirou could care less about Aoyama's French word of the day, she was grateful to have him join the group. Being alone with Midoriya and Uraraka could have made for a very awkward situation.

"I'm getting more karaage chicken! Who else wants to go with me?" Uraraka asked.

"I want some, too!" Midoriya said, leaving the group to go with Uraraka to the table where the food sat.

Jirou watched as the two of them got their food. They talked with each other, and even giggled, as they scooped the chicken onto their plates.

"At least Uraraka is taking the fact Midoriya doesn't like her somewhat well, I guess," Jirou thought to herself with an expressionless look.

"Something the matter, Jirou?" Aoyama then asked her.

Jirou looked over to him after a few seconds of a delay. Aoyama wore a smug look on his face. That made Jirou feel all the more unsettled.

"Nope. Just thinking about what I'm having for dinner," Jirou answered him, with her boyfriend and Uraraka now walking towards them again.

"TAKE THAT, BIRD BRAIN!" Bakugou then yelled from the couch.

With Midoriya and Uraraka now re-joining them, the four of them looked over to the television to see Tokoyami's kart explode and fly into the air. Bakugou began laughing to himself as he crossed the finish line first, while Tokoyami just shook his head over the matter.

"Very funny, Bakugou," Tokoyami said, as he got up from the couch.

To Jirou's surprise, Aoyama had slipped away while they watched Bakugou's 'revenge' take place. She was now alone with Uraraka and Midoriya, who were finishing the last crumbs of chicken on their plate.

"Alright, the next race will be Bakugou, Midoriya, Jirou and Uraraka!" Kirashima yelled.

Jirou wanted to roll her eyes upon hearing the competitors for the race. It seemed like a cruel Hollywood script to her, although having her boyfriend there at least made her feel like she could somewhat enjoy the race.

Midoriya, meanwhile, was more concerned about the fact that he had to go up against Bakugou in the race. He knew that it was going to be a tough task to win against him for a multitude of reasons, if his childhood memories of playing videos games together was any indication.

"I'll fucking send you packing if you get in my way, Deku!" Bakugou screamed at him.

"Good luck Kyouka, Uraraka," Midoriya said to the girls, causing Bakugou to snarl towards him while Midoriya was not looking.

"Thanks Deku, same to you!" Uraraka said.

"Hey Izuku," Jirou smirked towards him.

"Um - what's up?" Midoriya asked, with Bakugou raising an eyebrow unknowingly to him.

"We might have tied in the fight today, but I'm gonna settle the score here now," Jirou declared.

While the players chose their characters, karts, and waited for the race to load, Ashido and Yaoyorozu had moved closer to them, both very keen on watching the race that was about to unfold. They sat at a table that was just behind the couch that the four players sat on.

"I have never played this kind of game. Who do you think will win?" Yaoyorozu asked Ashido.

"Hmm... probably Bakugou, he's too good," Ashido muttered.

The game then loaded the players onto the starting line. It was just the four of them on the track, which was an ice-rink style track. Lots of snow was in the background of the track, along with an underwater section, and a section that went through a mountain. Bakugou chose Bowser, per usual, while Midoriya chose Green Yoshi. Uraraka chose Toadette, and Jirou selected Purple Yoshi.

"Oh, would you look at that, Midoriya and Jirou both chose Yoshi..." Yaoyorozu tried to whisper, although she had not gone unheard by the person who had an enhanced hearing quirk.

"Shut up! It's just a coincidence! I'm always Purple Yoshi," Jirou yelled back, leading to confused looks from Uraraka and Midoriya.

The three-lap race then started. It had occurred to Midoriya and Jirou fairly quickly that this was the first time that they had played a video game together. Those thoughts would not last long, however, as Bakugou closed in on Midoriya for second place, while Uraraka had the lead.

"Bet you can't Delaware Smash this, nerd!" Bakugou yelled.

Just as he yelled, Bakugou fired a red shell towards Midoriya. It was a good thing that Midoriya had prepared for it. He dropped a banana peel to block the red shell, only leading Bakugou to get more fired up.

"Delaware... Smash!" Midoriya yelled as the banana eliminated the shell.

"Fucking extra, get out of the way!" Bakugou yelled, as he began to slam into Midoriya's kart.

Despite the calamity, Uraraka continued to lead during the second lap. Bakugou and Midoriya trailed in second and third, while Jirou was still in last. Jirou still had an emotionless expression despite being in the back.

Bakugou then fired a red shell at Uraraka, who was caught without an item in that moment. That would allow Bakugou to take the lead, as Uraraka dropped to third.

"Why didn't you pass me, Jirou?" Uraraka asked without taking her eyes off the screen.

Jirou did not give an answer to that question.

Still with the lead, Bakugou began the final lap. He had a small lead over Midoriya, with both of them praying to get a good item spin. They both knew that whoever got the better item would likely take the win.

While they were locked in on their battle for the lead, little did they realize that Jirou now had her trademark smirk again.

Jirou fired a blue shell first, which slammed into Bakugou and Midoriya at the same time. Ashido giggled as she realized what was going to happen.

"Hey, who the FUCK just blue shelled me AGAIN?!" Bakugou yelled.

While the two leaders tried to get back going, they were both slammed into again, this time by Jirou's star powerup. Jirou also perfectly executed several shortcuts through some snowy sections thanks to the speed boost from the star, allowing her to easily take the win. Uraraka finished second, while Bakugou slammed Midoriya off the track for third.

"Impressive, right?" Jirou grinned towards her competitors.

"Meh, just some lucky items for you Lobes, nothing impressive about it," Bakugou retorted with an annoyed tone.

"That was really impressive, Kyouka! It sucks to lose, but you perfectly timed every use of your items and passed all of us at the perfect time," Midoriya said, with Uraraka nodding in agreement.

"Well of course you'd be impressed by her, Deku, heh heh!" Bakugou snarled.

Ashido and Yaoyorozu raised an eyebrow over that remark.

"And why would that be the case?" Uraraka asked.

"Because - " Bakugou stopped and changed to a lighter tone. "Because that damn nerd is always with her, that's why."

Everyone listening had caught onto Bakugou's shift in how he said the last part. Without further complaint, Bakugou, Midoriya and Uraraka got up, while Jirou hoped to defend her win against Ashido, Kaminari and Ojiro.

Midoriya stood behind the couch as he watched the next race unfold. Jirou tried the exact same strategy, intentionally running last for the first two laps, and tried to mount a charge on the final lap. Unfortunately for her, she did not get a blue shell this time, and was only able to make it to second place, while Ashido held on to win.

After the race was over, Jirou walked over to Midoriya, with the two of them sharing a high five. Instead of watching the next race, however, Jirou motioned for Midoriya to walk outside with her. The two of them went out through the front door - noticing a package on the porch steps - but walked past it and took a few more steps down the front path.

"It's so much quieter out here," Jirou said, with Midoriya nodding in agreement.

They looked up at the sky and realized a bright, full moon was shining above them. Many stars decorated the otherwise dark night sky, along with a brighter star that turned out to be the planet Venus, although Midoriya and Jirou were not aware of it.

"That really was a great win, Kyouka. You got the best of me after all," Midoriya chuckled.

"Thanks, Izuku," Jirou said, stealing a glance towards the front door and windows. "The sky sure is beautiful tonight."

"Not as beautiful as you, though," Midoriya said.

Jirou swung her head back towards Midoriya, as her eyes shot wide open. The moonlight allowed Midoriya to see just how red her face had turned from his comment.

"Did-did you just call me... beautiful?" Jirou asked.

"Of course I did," Midoriya responded, his face also just as red now.

The two of them stared at each other for several more moments. Jirou could feel her face burn even more as she tried to calm herself down.

"Izuku."

"Kyouka."

"Um... can we... you know..."

No answer needed to be said aloud. The two of them stepped forward towards each other. Kyouka kept her arms stuffed in her pockets. Both of them had no clue as to how they should handle what they were about to experience.

They met eyes and leaned in, pressing their lips against each other. Finally, after so many thoughts and anxieties over how it would go, they kissed. It was the first time either of them had kissed someone, right on the lips, with no hesitations hanging over them anymore. Midoriya tried to not let his overthinking make him question what he was doing. Jirou refused to let any of her doubts stop her in the moment. Together, they finally kissed, not even caring about whether they were doing it right.

When they pulled away, they then shared a long hug. All of the emotions were crashing onto them now. It was everything they had ever wanted from each other.

Once they pulled away from their hug, the two of them then realized someone was standing on the porch. They held a package in their pink hands.

"No. Fucking. Way."
