It had been a week since Team 7 had returned from their mission to the Land of Iron, and while the weight of their first real battle still lingered in their minds, things had mostly returned to normal. The shinobi life moved forward, and so did their training. Kazaya, Hikari, and Ashi had all learned valuable lessons during their mission, but now they were back to the daily grind under the watchful eye of Naruto.

Naruto, in his typical fashion, didn't let the team dwell on their past challenges for too long. They had proven their strength, but now it was time for them to grow even stronger.

It was an early morning, the sky just beginning to lighten as Naruto stood in the clearing of their training ground, arms crossed, watching his students as they stood ready for the day's lesson.

"Alright, Team 7," Naruto called out, his grin wide and bright. "You've had a week to recover and reflect on what happened during our mission. Now it's time to focus on pushing yourselves even further. Today's training will be a mix of ninjutsu and taijutsu. You need to keep improving if you want to handle tougher missions."

Ashi stretched out her arms, Yuna mimicking her as the two prepared for whatever Naruto had in store for them. "Bring it on, Naruto-sensei! Yuna and I are ready to go!"

Hikari, always more reserved, was scanning the area, already formulating a plan for whatever Naruto might throw at them. She nodded quietly, but the fire in her eyes was unmistakable. "We're ready, sensei."

Kazaya stood calmly, his ninjato strapped to his back, but there was a newfound intensity in his gaze. Since the events of the Land of Iron, he had been more focused during their training sessions, determined to grow stronger and more controlled. "I'm ready."

Naruto's grin widened, clearly pleased with the enthusiasm. "Good! Today, we're going to start with some ninjutsu practice. I'm going to split you into pairs. One of you will attack, and the other will defend. The goal is to counter your opponent's jutsu with your own."

Kazaya and Hikari exchanged a glance, already sizing each other up. Ashi bounced on her feet, eager to get started.

"And remember," Naruto added, crossing his arms again. "I'll be watching. So don't hold back!"

The first round of training began with Kazaya and Hikari facing off against each other, while Ashi and Yuna sparred in the background.

Kazaya took a deep breath, focusing his chakra. His fingers quickly formed the seals for a lightning-style jutsu. "Lightning Style: Shock Palm!" he shouted, sending a crackling wave of electricity toward Hikari.

Hikari, prepared for his move, quickly formed her own hand seals. "Water Style: Water Wall!" A shimmering barrier of water appeared between her and the incoming lightning, hissing as the two elements collided.

The sheer force of the impact sent steam billowing into the air, but Hikari remained calm, her eyes focused on Kazaya as she planned her next move. "That was a good one, Kazaya, but you'll have to do better than that!"

Kazaya smirked slightly. "I'll keep that in mind."

Meanwhile, Ashi and Yuna were engaged in their own battle, the two working in tandem as always. Ashi had unleashed a barrage of kunai, each one wrapped in explosive tags, which Yuna quickly retrieved with her swift, nimble movements, delivering them to different locations around the training ground.

"Ninja Art: Fang Over Fang!" Ashi shouted, launching herself and Yuna into a spinning attack that tore through the trees, setting off the explosive tags one by one in a chaotic display of power.

Naruto, watching from the sidelines, laughed at the intensity of the sparring. "You guys are really going at it! Don't blow the place up just yet, Ashi!"

Ashi, mid-spin, called back, "Don't worry, sensei! We've got it under control!"

Hikari's water jutsu deflected Kazaya's lightning attack again, but Kazaya was persistent, quickly switching tactics. He formed new hand seals, this time sending a powerful gust of wind toward Hikari. "Wind Style: Gale Force!"

Hikari's eyes narrowed. "Not bad," she muttered. "But I've got something for that too." She slammed her hands to the ground. "Earth Style: Mud Wall!"

A thick wall of earth erupted from the ground, shielding Hikari from the powerful gust of wind. The wall held firm as the wind battered it, but the force was enough to cause cracks to form in the barrier.

Naruto watched, impressed by the progression of his students' skills. They had grown since the last time they practiced their ninjutsu. Their attacks were more focused, and their counters more creative. "Good work, you guys! Keep it up!"

After several hours of intense ninjutsu sparring, Naruto decided it was time to move on to the next part of their training: taijutsu. But today's taijutsu session was going to be different. Much to the team's surprise, Naruto had invited a special guest to help with their training.

As Naruto gathered the team back together, they heard the distant sound of someone shouting enthusiastically—and getting closer.

"YOSH! TEAM 7! I HAVE ARRIVED!"

Rock Lee appeared in a flash, his energetic smile as wide as ever, giving the team a thumbs-up as he landed dramatically beside Naruto.

Naruto grinned, clearly enjoying the team's reactions. "That's right, Team 7. Today, you'll be training with none other than Rock Lee. And when it comes to taijutsu, no one can push you harder."

Ashi looked from Naruto to Lee, her eyes widening in both awe and slight apprehension. "Wait, Rock Lee? The taijutsu master?!"

Hikari, who had studied the history of Konoha's finest shinobi, recognized the name immediately. She tried to hide her growing anxiety but wasn't doing a great job of it. "Naruto-sensei… Are you sure this is a good idea?"

Kazaya, ever calm, looked at Lee and then at Naruto. "This is going to hurt, isn't it?"

Naruto just laughed. "Oh yeah. But you'll be stronger for it. Trust me."

Lee, not missing a beat, clapped his hands together. "I will show you the power of youth! Prepare yourselves for the most invigorating taijutsu training session of your lives!"

Before they knew it, Lee had launched into a series of stretches that put even the most flexible ninja to shame. The team watched, slightly horrified, as Lee balanced on one hand, then seamlessly transitioned into a one-armed handstand push-up.

"Join me, Team 7!" Lee exclaimed, beaming at them. "This is just the beginning!"

Ashi exchanged a wide-eyed look with Hikari, who was already starting to regret this part of training. "He's serious, isn't he?" Hikari muttered under her breath.

"Oh, he's very serious," Naruto said, trying not to laugh at the expressions on their faces. "But hey, it's good for you!"

Kazaya sighed, clearly resigned to his fate. "We're doomed."

What followed could only be described as pure, unrelenting misery—for Team 7. Lee's training session began with a series of taijutsu drills that had the team running laps, doing push-ups, and practicing high-speed kicks. But Lee, in his usual over-the-top fashion, kept raising the bar.

"Run faster! Feel the burn in your legs! That is the power of youth coursing through you!" Lee shouted enthusiastically as the team completed their fiftieth lap around the training ground.

Ashi panted heavily, her hands on her knees as Yuna, equally exhausted, flopped onto the ground beside her. "I… can't… run… anymore," Ashi wheezed.

Hikari wasn't faring much better, her usually composed demeanor now completely shattered. "My legs… they're going to fall off."

Kazaya, drenched in sweat, simply muttered, "This is inhuman."

Naruto, standing off to the side with his arms crossed, laughed heartily as he watched his students suffer through the session. "Come on, guys! You're doing great! Just a little more!"

Lee, meanwhile, was doing sit-ups while simultaneously encouraging the team. "You must keep going! Do not give up! Youth never gives up!"

Kazaya's expression was one of pure exhaustion as he glanced over at Naruto. "Sensei… why… why are you enjoying this so much?"

Naruto smirked, unable to hold back his laughter. "Because, Kazaya, I've been where you are. You'll thank me later."

Hikari, her voice dripping with sarcasm, muttered, "I highly doubt that."

The drills continued for what felt like an eternity. The team performed jump kicks, high-speed strikes, and dodging drills—all while Lee cheered them on with the full force of his passion for youth. By the end of the session, all three genin were sprawled out on the ground, completely spent.

Lee, still beaming, wiped a small bead of sweat from his forehead. "Excellent work, Team 7! You've completed the training of youth! You should be very proud of yourselves!"

The members of Team 7, however, did not feel proud. They felt exhausted, sore, and utterly drained. The only thing they could manage were groans of pain as they lay on the ground, too tired to move.

Ashi, her entire body aching, rolled over onto her back, staring up at the sky. "I think I've died… This is the afterlife, right?"

Yuna, equally spent, gave a low, pitiful whine as she sprawled out beside her, not even able to lift her head.

Hikari sat up slowly, her legs trembling as she did. "I'm… never… doing that again," she panted, wiping the sweat from her brow.

Kazaya, his usual calm demeanor completely shattered, lay flat on his back, his eyes closed as he muttered, "There's no way this is part of normal training. This is torture."

Naruto, who had been leaning against a tree while laughing at their misery, finally approached them, grinning. "You guys did great! I think you'll start to feel the benefits of this kind of training in a few days… after your muscles stop hurting, of course."

The three genin all glared at Naruto, though none of them had the energy to form a proper response.

Rock Lee, still as energetic as ever, clapped his hands together. "I'm very proud of you, Team 7! You've endured the path of youth! I can see your spirits are burning even brighter now!"

Ashi managed a weak smile. "Yeah… thanks… for that."

Naruto waved his hand dismissively at Lee. "They'll get there, Lee. Might take a few more rounds with you, though."

Lee gave Naruto a thumbs-up, clearly not noticing the misery he had just inflicted on the team. "I would be honored to train them again, Naruto! Just let me know when, and I'll be here!"

The three genin groaned in unison at the thought.

Naruto, still chuckling, helped Ashi up first, then gestured for Hikari and Kazaya to get to their feet. "Alright, that's enough for today. You've survived Lee's training, which means you're stronger than you were this morning. Now go home, get some rest, and make sure you hydrate."

Kazaya grumbled under his breath, barely able to stay upright. "Rest is the only thing we'll be able to do…"

Hikari nodded in agreement, wincing as she stretched her sore muscles. "If we can even walk home…"

Ashi, though clearly just as exhausted, tried to maintain her usual energy. "I feel like a pile of mashed potatoes… I'm gonna need a nap for a week."

Naruto patted her on the shoulder, grinning. "You'll bounce back, Ashi. You're tough."

As they made their way back to the village, Naruto walked behind them from a distance, hands in his pockets, still amused by how much they had suffered during the session. However, what he didn't notice was the quiet conversation starting between the three genin ahead of him.

As soon as they were out of earshot, Hikari turned to the others, her voice low and conspiratorial. "Okay, we all agree, right? This cannot go unpunished."

Kazaya nodded, still limping slightly. "Definitely. That was cruel and unusual punishment."

Ashi, her eyes gleaming with mischief despite her exhaustion, grinned. "I'm in. Sensei's been laughing at us this whole time. We have to get back at him."

Hikari nodded, already planning in her head. "We need to prank him. Something big."

Ashi's grin widened, her spirit seeming to return in full force now that the idea of revenge was on the table. "I love it! Something that will make him regret ever putting us through that training."

Kazaya, normally the most level-headed of the group, didn't protest. If anything, he seemed determined. "Something harmless but annoying. We don't want him to be mad… just a little payback."

"Agreed," Hikari said, her strategic mind already working overtime. "We'll need to plan this carefully."

Ashi clapped her hands together, the excitement almost completely reviving her. "I say we start with something simple but effective. Maybe we mess with his apartment? Set up some traps? Oh! Or we fill his room with balloons. That'll drive him crazy."

Hikari thought for a moment, tapping her chin. "That's good… but I think we need more than just balloons. What if we use his own prank against him?"

Kazaya raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Hikari smirked. "Shadow clones. He uses them all the time. What if we set up a trap that triggers when he creates clones? We could prank him every time one of his clones dispels."

Ashi's eyes lit up. "Yes! That's genius! We could rig something to go off every time a clone is destroyed."

Kazaya couldn't help but smile at the thought. "We could set it up so that paint or something explodes on him every time one of his clones disappears."

Hikari nodded. "Exactly. We'll need some supplies, but we can get started on this tomorrow. Naruto-sensei is always using clones, so it'll be perfect."

Ashi pumped her fist in the air, her energy fully restored by the excitement of the plan. "This is going to be amazing! I can't wait to see the look on his face!"

Kazaya, though not usually one for pranks, seemed to agree. "He's going to regret laughing at us today."

The three of them shared a mischievous grin, the soreness from the training already fading as they bonded over their shared goal of getting back at their Sensei.

Naruto, still walking behind them, noticed the sudden shift in their demeanor. They had been dragging their feet moments ago, but now they were whispering to each other, and Ashi looked positively gleeful.

Naruto's eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion. "Hey, what are you guys talking about?"

The three genin immediately straightened up, their faces trying to appear innocent.

"Oh, nothing, sensei!" Ashi said quickly, though her wide grin betrayed her.

"Just… uh… discussing the training session!" Hikari added, though her voice wasn't nearly as convincing as she wanted it to be.

Kazaya, the best at keeping a poker face, simply nodded. "Just thinking about how much stronger we're going to get."

Naruto raised an eyebrow, unconvinced but too amused to press the issue. "Uh-huh. Well, just remember—whatever you're planning, I'm always one step ahead."

The three genin exchanged quick glances, but none of them spoke, their smiles growing wider by the second.

Naruto chuckled softly to himself, knowing full well that they were up to something. "I'll see you tomorrow for training. Don't be late."

As he walked away, he couldn't help but grin. Whatever they were planning, he'd let them have their fun. It reminded him of the pranks he used to pull on his sensei—and he couldn't wait to see what his team had in store for him.
