AN: I haven't finished playing Monster Hunter World yet but when I do, Youjo Senki X Monster Hunter should be a go.

Storm Blade swung his plasma katana toward Tanya's skull. Inside Tanya's mouth was acid. Storm Blade quickly dodged as acid shot out of Tanya's mouth and tore through the trees.

It wasn't over as Tanya followed up with an acid slash with her claws. The acid flew and Storm Blade barely managed to dodge as the acid slightly cut through his stomach. Tanya raised her four hands with acid dripping from the claws.

Storm Blade knew he would have to parry perfectly. The acid flew towards him at a strange angle. Storm Blade swung his plasma katana and perfectly parried all the acid away. Needless to say, Tanya was very impressed.

"You're the most impressive Yautja yet."

Tanya's words greatly offended Bone Viper and Bone Hawk who were watching. However, they could not deny it since even they would be hard pressed to stop or avoid the acid slashes. The two were allowed to watch because they would be the last Elites to hunt Paragon.

Tanya took a deep breath and Storm Blade quickly ran as she spewed an acid breath from her mouth. Knowing the acid breath would catch up soon, Storm Blade activated his Plasmacaster and fired a plasma bolt toward Tanya's mouth.

Tanya quickly slapped the plasma bolt away with her hand. Storm Blade charged in with great speed. Tanya sent acid slashes and Storm Blade dodged while parrying. Lifting her tail, Tanya swung it down with great speed. Storm Blade rolled and avoided the hit.

Tanya was about to open her mouth for an acid breath when Storm Blade plasmacaster glowed. She knew she couldn't open her mouth unless she wanted to taste a plasma bolt. Understanding the situation, Tanya braced herself and readied her claws.

Whoever struck faster would win. The two closed in on each other and swung. Storm Blade plasma katana swung towards Tanya's face with her claws too far from him first. Tanya saw death and smiled. This didn't seem like a bad death at all.

A bullet slammed into Storm Blade's plasma katana and pushed it away. Everyone was shocked at the sight and wondered who could it be. The bullet was from none other than Vara who had an advanced sniper rifle.

Tanya's acid claws sliced through Storm Blade. His plasma katana stabbed into the ground and dimmed. Silence filled the forest.

"I'll remember you."

Tanya opened her jaw and chomped on Storm Blade. The crack of bones could be heard from her mouth. It was Tanya's first time eating a Yautja and they were very chewy.

"Let's go."

Tero came in and grabbed the plasma katana. Tero then climbed back up on Tanya. Everyone went into the lair in silence. Along the way, Ceri looked at Vara without any emotions. She needed to talk to him. Deep in the lair in one of the houses, Ceri quickly confronted Vara.

"Why did you shoot?"

"So that Miss Angel wouldn't die."

"Don't screw with me, Angel isn't human."

"True, but I found it important she says alive."

"Why?!"

"You should understand, shouldn't you? Without Miss Angel, the Xenomorphs would go rogue. Do you really think we can fight them all off? Not to mention, what would happen to the employees at the settlement."

"They're no longer employees."

"They are until their contract with Weyland expires."

"That doesn't matter! Don't you understand?! We're never getting off this planet so collecting data is pointless."

"While that may be true, there's still a chance of rescue so I shall continue collecting data. Besides, I find Miss Angel quite agreeable."

"You what?! Do you hear yourself?!"

"Of course I do, why wouldn't I?"

"Are you being sarcastic with me?"

"Of course not, why would I?"

Ceri made a right fist and punched Vara. Vara didn't move and simply stared blankly at her. The pain was quickly felt in Ceri's right hand and she winced.

"Shall I attend to your pain?"

"Fuck off!"

"Very well Captain Ceri."

With those words, Vara left Ceri alone in the room. Ceri sighed and sat down. She played music and became silent. Everything was wrong, everything was supposed to be different, but it was what it was. Sleep soon came upon Ceri and she fell asleep.

When she woke up, she mentally prepared herself for the day ahead. Taking a breath, she headed out of the room and walked around looking. Everything seemed busy like always.

Xenomorph Workers tended to plants while others built structures. A Xenomorph Crusher dragged stones that had been mined. Everywhere Ceri looked, the hive seemed busy. It seemed no different from a cooperation without pay. Not that Xenomorphs needed payment other than serving their Queen Angel.

Speaking of which, Angel had been wanting more Xenomorphs without all the egg laying. She seemed to plan on laying a royal egg of her own soon. Which meant Angel would become a Xenomorph Empress.

Close by, Ceri could see Vara and Prima working. She wondered if their research for Angel had progressed. Angel had asked them if they could make her children more intelligent. Something Vara and Prima were more than willing to research with the number of test subjects they had.

Ceri passed by and went to the arena. In the arena, she could see Tero slaying other Xenomorphs. They were Xenomorphs that were spawns of the imprisoned Queen. Speaking of which, Angel should have gone out today to take care of the foreign Xenomorphs.

Ceri didn't think Angel would have much problem. Other than the Yautjas, there was barely any threat to Angel on the island. Thinking of the island, Ceri wondered if she would one day be able to leave it. Hopefully, she'd live till old age.
