"I'm free!" Virgil waltzed out of his office. He received a series of hellos and a near immediate hug from Miguel and a sprinting hug to his leg from Gunner, "How are we this late afternoon?"

More 'fines' rang out than should have. The dredhead leaned back, looking past Miguel, "Hold on. One, two, three, four. Ok. Carry the three, and if x comes before y," A pause, "Does it come before y? Yea. Why has the number of children I have doubled?"

"Miles has been having trouble sleeping and stuff so I invited him over so he wouldn't feel alone," Miguel told him, "And Hobie came because he and Miles wanted to hang out."

"Oh. Ok, cool. Is mommy home yet?"

"Not yet," he shrugged, "We ate leftovers. And Miles and I made a tower for our train, then we played king kong and Godzilla with Hobie and Gunner."

"Sounds like you boys are having a good ole time," daddy smiled to the group, "And it sounds like Gunner didn't take his nap."

"Couldn't get him down after Hobie got him all hyped up."

"Right. Ok," he shrugged, walking over and flopping on the couch, "Hi guys. Is everything ok, Miles?"

The teen averted his gaze, "Yeah, I'm a bit tired," He hadn't told Miguel all that. Was it so obvious?

"Just a little tired, kiddo?" he rubbed his shoulders, "School getting you down?"

"School and spider-man stuff. Just a little tired," he rubbed the back of his neck, "But I'm ok and school will be over for the summer soon."

"Well good thing you're over here to relax a little, right?"

Miles looked up at him and nodded, giving him a small smile and receiving an encouraging back rub.

"What about you, string bean?" he turned to the rockstar, "How are you? You look tired too."

Hobie chewed on the nipple of his bottle, "Good. I been busy too."

"Well you guys are always welcome over here to take a little load off," he rubbed his shoulder, "I'm going to call mommy and see if she'll be home tonight or if she's being superwoman. K?" he gave all four boys forehead kisses before going to grab his phone.

"There are multiple children at my house," Virgil grabbed a plate that Miguel had heated up for him, "All your sons of course, and our dear nephew."

"How did I become a boy mom?" Jess tsked, "This is all your fault!"

"I tried my best!"

"You tried your best to give me a son."

"Hey," he snickered, "You're right, I don't even have a defense prepared."

"I want some girls. I'm going to steal the twins."

"If you get them we have to get Mayday, you know the boys are going to get bored playing with them."

"Ok?" she stated, making it obvious that she considered that.

"Well then," Virgil turned his nose up, taking a bite of his shepherd's pie, "I'm gonna invite Adam over to hang out. And Dick."

"Ok, invite them," Jess scoffed, "Invite them twice so you can make sure we have a good time."

"I will. Let me call him real quick to see if he wants you to pick him up too."

"You better. And I'll stop and grab some food since I'm sure they destroyed the leftovers. Love you babe. See you soon."

"Love you too, sweetheart," he hung up, sending out some text so he could focus on his food.

"Since you guys get to keep company, I invited my friends over," Virgil told the kiddos, "Any situations I need to be aware of?" he grabbed Miles first, "I know someone, I'm not saying names, Hobie, wees like a waterfall."

Hobie snickered, playing pattycake with the actual toddler.

"No, I've been being a big brother," Miles commented, obviously ecstatic and bragging just a little, "And I'm a big boy. I help with Hobie and GG."

"You did? And you remembered to go potty too? I'm so proud," he checked on compulsion, "Yep, looks like everyone is nice and clean. Wonderful. Mommy is gonna be home soon enough with food."

"Will you draw with us? We're about to color," Hobie hopped up, holding Gunner upside down as he pulled the art bin out.

"I don't see why not," he sat, Miguel leaning against his shoulder, "Hi Bubs," he rubbed his hand.

"Choose yours," punk pointed to thw plethora of coloring books.

"Hmm," Virgil rubbed his chin, "I think I want the cat and dog one."

"Ooh, ok, I want this one," Hobie took his and pushed the bin towards the other two, "Pick one, pick one!"

"Ok, ok, I'll take this one," Miguel took one with houses and Miles grabbed one.

Hobie smiled, setting the crayons, markers and pencils out.

The group colored in mostly silence for a few minutes. With the exception of Gunner's babbling and attempts at coloring his book with toddler crayons.

"Ohh, isn't that nice?"

Punk heard daddy's voice and looked up to see him glancing at his coloring page, "You like my hippo?"

"Yes, it's so pretty," he nodded, "And I really like how Miles colored his sky. It's nice to see a break from blue skies when it's got so many other pretty colors to it. The purple sky is my personal favorite."

Miles beamed, giddy at the compliment.

"And man, Bubs, that kitchen is looking good," he pointed to Miguel's coloring page, getting a wide smile in return, "Dont let mommy see, she might make us renovate ours."

A rattling of the doorknob and it swung open, "Guess who's home, and I brought friends and food."

"It's my girls!" Virgil waved, them rushing over to maul him with love.

"Hi Virgil!" Aila hugged him tight, turning to Miguel, "Hi Mimi!"

Loey hurried to hug them, pulling Mayday along,"I remember you, you went to the aquarium with us."

"That's Miles and that's Hobie," May reminded them, hugging Gunner and Hobie first.

"Yea! You wear the dog collar," Aila smiled, leaning over and petting him.

"Hi," Loey greeted them all, "can we play kitchen?"

"Of course," he nodded, sending them off to the playroom.

"I got Chipotles," Jess held out a pan, silently summoning them to come help.

"Yum," her husband walked over, taking the pan as GG hugged her leg.

"BBC King," Adam greeted his brother with a head nod, holding another pan.

"BBC King," Virgil greeted back.

"Hi mama, daddy was coloring with us," Hobie rushed over to give her a hug as the other two went to grab bags from the car.

"Nice. I can't wait to see all the pics," she gave him a forehead kiss, "I hope you brought my shirt back."

He chuckled, hoping she forgot, "I did."

"Good, go help with the bags please," she sent him off with a head pat, getting a tight hug from Miguel next.
