Autobots Part 1

Team Prime, Part 1: Ark Team Alpha (Autobots Season 1 Cast)

XXXXXX

Team Prime, also known by its official designation as Ark Team Alpha, is the Autobot Military Squadron stationed in their Vanguard-class Deep Space Interceptor dubbed the Ark at the dormant volcano of Mount St. Hilary located near Central City, Oregon, led by none other than Autobot Supreme Commander Optimus Prime himself. Their initial mission was to recover the long-lost AllSpark with the hopes of using its legendary, life-giving powers to revitalize their dying homeworld of Cybertron and, hopefully, end the long and brutal Third Cybertronian Civil War before its bloodshed can take many more lives. However, a surprise attack by Megatron's elite unit of Decepticon Lieutenants resulted in them crash-landing on prehistoric Earth and going into stasis lock for the next 4 million years ago. In the present day of the year 2010 A.D., the volcanic eruption of Mount St. Hilary stirs the half-buried Ark, awakening Teletraan I, the ship's onboard computer, which then launches satellite-based technology called Sky Spies to scan any local vehicles and other machinery as the Transformers' alt-modes as it revived them. However, Teletraan I was unable to distinguish friend from foe as it was severely damaged during the crash, resulting in both Autobots and Decepticons being rebuilt. Now reawakened on this new world after eons of dormancy, Team Prime has gained a new objective: to protect their new home Earth and its inhabitants from any danger and prevent the Decepticons from using the AllSpark, along with other ancient Cybertronian relics and energy resources on the planet such as the mystical Artifacts of the Primes and the power-enhancing Activator/Weaponizer Minicons aboard the long-lost starship Exodus, to conquer the universe, no matter the cost.

Allied with the human Witwicky Family, the Secret Transformers Autobot Rescue Squad (S.T.A.R.S.), and the United States government, the group consists of a wide variety of members, from Primes to Wreckers to Cyber-Ninjas to members of the Cybertronian Elite Guard and the Primal Vanguard to ex-Decepticons to Minicons to agents of government organizations such as G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand), Sector Seven, Triple-I (Intelligence and Information Institute), Unit:E, Skywatch, the E.D.C. (Earth Defense Command), N.E.S.T. (Non-biological Extraterrestrial Species Taskforce), G.H.O.S.T. (Global Hazard and Ordinance Strike Team), and the Order of the Witwiccans.

Optimus Prime (Function: SUPREME COMMANDER) - Optimus Prime was once a lowly, timid librarian named Orion Pax, serving as the assistant archivist to the ancient Cybertronian recordskeeper Alpha Trion at the Iacon Hall of Records. It was due to a chance meeting with Megatron, someone who he once saw as a brother but became his greatest enemy, that his fate changed drastically and the circumstances that led to the start of the Autobot/Decepticon Great War made him the bot that he is now. First as someone who decided to take a stand to rid the oppressive caste system that hindered the freedom of all sentient beings on Cybertron, then as a great and powerful military leader who held the line against Megatron's Decepticons on Cybertron and across the galaxy. As the current heir to the Creation Matrix of Leadership and as the Supreme Commander of Cybertron and the heroic Autobot Commonwealth, Optimus Prime is revered by many and reviled by some, but always with a powerful presence, in or out of battle.

If he had been born on Earth as a human, he could've been a doctor, a mechanic, a scientist, or a warrior. However, on Cybertron, there's no difference between these professions. So Optimus Prime uses his skills to heal and repair the world around him and, if necessary, to fight. Possessing the high levels of power and intelligence, and with the Creation Matrix infusing him with unknown energies, Optimus has no true equal in this universe aside from his arch-nemesis Megatron. He can be immensely kind and his compassion extends to all that lives. As the sole surviving member of the Prime Lineage, Optimus feels that his role is the protection of all forms of life in the entire universe, including the organic life on Earth. He fights unceasingly to defeat the Decepticons and protect those that are in need. Optimus Prime opposed Megatron's plans of using the AllSpark to transform their homeworld Cybertron itself into a cosmic juggernaut to conquer the universe, and so ejected the legendary artifact into the far reaches of space during the infamous Battle of Tyger Pax. Though he halted Megatron's plans of intergalactic conquest, this action became the first in a number of heavy burdens he has been forced to bear as Cybertron began to slowly decay without its lifeforce. Eons later, he would take up the task to find the AllSpark to correct his mistakes and save Cybertron. Another burden that Optimus blames himself for is accidentally bringing the Transformers' conflict to Earth. Every casualty in this senseless war - human, Cybertronian, or otherwise - weighs heavily on his spark. He does not show this side to his soldiers and never succumbs to despair. The Autobots need a decisive, charismatic leader and that is what he gives them.

Optimus Prime is split into four different autonomous modules. Injury to one module is felt by the other three:

1) Optimus Prime himself, also known as The Commander, the brain center that houses his higher functions, personality, and spark, and controls the other modules. Optimus is what the humans may call a "walking Swiss Army Knife", wielding a ridiculously large arsenal of weapons and gadgets. If Batman has an utility belt, then Optimus Prime IS the utility belt...or a James Bond car come to life. Prime's signature weapons are a super energon war axe that he can summon from subspace to cut Decepticons in half from where they stand and a powerful ion blaster rifle that'll give Megatron's fusion cannon a run for its energon. He also possesses twin energon sword blades, energon hooks, and double super rifles integrated in his arms, twin shoulder missile cannons armed with Cybertanium rounds that can pierce the strongest of alloys, a high-strength tri-tanium shield that he can use a ramming weapon in both robot and truck mode, and destructo-rocket launchers that he can open up from ports in his legs. With the power of the Creation Matrix, Prime can summon the Super Matrix Buster Rifle, a ion cannon that carries three special cartridges that allow for three shots and emits maximum output energy equivalent to a medium-sized city, which means when fired, the ion beam creates a violent 150-meter plasma vortex around it that is capable of destroying its targets on sight. Prime would then wield the legendary Star Saber, a powerful sword once wielded by Prima, first of the original thirteen Transformers, believed to be forged from the heart of a dying star and has the power to crumble the stuff of planets into dust. Optimus Prime transforms into a 1997 Peterbilt 379EXHD Sleeper Cab Semi-Truck. His truck mode can be fitted with many kinds of trailer attachments, most notably an adamantium-steel 2011 Heavily-Armed Great Dane Everest TL Single-Temp Refrigerated Trailer that can become a combat deck/mobile battlestation and a Cybertronian Fire Engine Trailer armed with Twin Cannons that he can use in emergencies involving large fires or can combine with his body to form a super mode. He's also a Partial Triple Changer, who is able to fold down his cannons and the sides of his fire engine trailer to create a flight mode for his truck alt-form. Without possession of the Creation Matrix, Optimus reverts back into his original form of Orion Pax. As Orion Pax, he transforms into a 2005 Ford F-350 Super Duty King Ranch Pickup Truck.

2) Apex Bomber, commonly referred to by his nickname Godbomber, is the flagship product of the Bomber Project, first of a series of combat drones created by the Autobot Elite Guard's best scientists back on Cybertron to serve as a loyal battle buddy and personal power-up for their leader, Optimus Prime. Godbomber is merely a drone with no spark of his own, animated by the special energies drawn from Prime himself and responding to the Autobot commander's emotions and needs. A loyal and reliable member of Team Prime, Godbomber is programmed with the mind of a simple soldier just doing his duty, often calling Optimus "Commander" and any other Autobot "Sir", "Ma'am", or "Boss". He's armed with a super rifle along with a particle beam cannon/missile launcher on his shoulder. Godbomber is composed of multiple component parts, which disassemble and reconfigure into his assorted modes. His components include the "God Wing", the "God Punch", the "God Legs", and the "God Breast", which connect to Optimus Prime as the "God Iron Apex Armor". While Godbomber personally sees himself as an expendable asset to Team Prime's greater mission due to him being a sparkless drone, Prime and the other Autobots view him as a vital member of the team and part of their family. Godbomber transforms into a Cybertronian Armored Trailer for Optimus to tow around. His alt-mode is also equipped with cargo space to carry a small number of Autobots (usually 3-5) during important missions.

3) Roller, the Autobot scout car that Optimus Prime uses to slip unobtrusively behind enemy lines. Optimus can maintain radio control over Roller at distances up to 1200 miles. He's non-verbal, only able to speak through binary beeps and chirps. He is able to function autonomously without Optimus's active oversight. Optimus shows great attachment and concern for Roller, who is left particularly vulnerable by the behind-the-scenes situations in which it specializes. This is mainly because he named the little drone in honor of an old friend named a star police captain from Iacon's neighboring city Rodion named Roller, who helped him as an founding member of the original Autobot Movement, but unfortunately died during the political unrest against the corrupt Functionist High Council during Cybertron's pre-war era. Roller transforms into a 2017 Smart Vision EQ Fortwo Concept armed with a mounted gun turret.

4) Optimus Prime's main trailer attachment can convert into the Armored Weapons Platform (AWP), a combat deck equipped with a versatile mechanic/artillery robot. Prime can operate by remote-control his Platform module up to a distance of 1500 feet. The Auto-Launcher mounted on the deck can use a variety of artillery and radiation beam weapons, including most of those used by his fellow Autobots.

Optimus Prime has a group of five partner drone vehicles under his command known as the Prime Force, consisting of the firetruck Super Fire 01, the helicopter Gyro Copter 02, the drill-tank Drill Digger 03, the submarine Aqua Submarine 04, and the stealth jet bomber Aerial Bomber 05. Optimus can call on the Prime Force to go on on their own during battle or to Powerlinx with any of them to form a Battle Suit Armor. In addition, he can combine with all of the Prime Force to become Super Optimus Prime, giving him increased firepower and flight such as his most favorite super move, the Super Grand Max Fire, which sees him firing an enormous amount of lasers to completely destroy his enemies.

Whether the Prime Force are unavailable, Optimus' fire engine trailer attachment can transform into the wearable, flight-capable and heavily-armed Omega Combat Armor, which he can combine with to become Wingblade Optimus Prime. In the Wingblade form, Prime is essentially an airborne powerhouse. Not only he has supersonic flight, but he also has head-mounted battlizer sonic vulcan guns, a pair of Cybertronian alloy-cutting wing flag twin swords stored in his jetpack, twin sonic fire cannons from his shoulders, x-strafe missile launchers that he can fire from placements in his hips, and his primary ion cannons, a gunstar thruster rifle and a galaxy caliber triple cannon that are powerful enough to pierce the armor of the largest Decepticon warships.

Optimus can combine with the powerful drone jet Sky Turbine to form his own Apex Armor, the Jetcross Buster Armor, which can give serious firepower and enhanced strength, with wingfire gatling guns and combat-seeking missile launchers from his arms, and a aile-max ion cannon on his shoulder.

Optimus can Powerlinx with Jetfire to assume of the form of Jetpower Optimus, giving him hypersonic flight from Jetfire's powerful thrusters, and armed with an arm-mounted missile launcher and arm-mounted machine gun. He can also Powerlinx with Overload to form Optimus Megaweapon, gaining an enormously powerful set of cannons on his shoulders. Together, Optimus Prime, Jetfire, and Overload can become the mighty Jetpower Optimus Megaweapon.

Optimus Prime can Powerlinx with Ultra Magnus to become either Omega Prime or Zenith Magnus, unique individuals who not only combines the best of their component parts abilities but adds a considerable amount of power to the total. Omega Prime focuses on strength, defense and enhanced firepower at the cost of his own speed, while Zenith Magnus focuses on speed and aerial combat at the cost of strength and firepower.

At some point during the War on Earth, Optimus Prime and the Autobots were lured into a trap by a Vector Sigma-enhanced Megatron and the mighty Decepticon Titan Trypticon. In the battle's end, Trypticon's appearance sealed the Autobots' defeat, and Optimus reverted back to his original form as Orion Pax as the Creation Matrix was literally torn from his chest by Megatron as a trophy, leaving him weak and fatally injured. The captured Autobots, along with their dying leader, were then sent through a Space Bridge that banished them to a desolate Cybertron, where they would be left to the mercies of the Insecticon Swarm while the Decepticons were left free to ravage the Earth. In order to save their leader, the Autobots were forced to put Orion in spark support until they could rebuild him, but all attempts ended in failure due to their low resources at the time. Thankfully, they were saved by the timely arrival of Fortress Maximus's Masterforce Warriors and their Nebulon allies, who used to the super-science of the planet Nebulos, the Autobots are able to rebuild Orion Pax into Powermaster Optimus Prime, binary-bonded to the super intelligent Nebulon computer programmer, Hi-Q, who's a bit stuffy but he's a pretty stand-up being as he provides Prime's power needs in his engine mode. As a Powermaster, Optimus transforms into a 1990 Freightliner FLA-9664T Cab-Over Sleeper Truck and gains a new heavy-armored Cybertronian Trailer that transforms into an armed fortress that's complete with a laser rifle, concussion blaster, and 2 twin particle beam cannons. In this new mode, Optimus Prime leads the Autobots to liberate Earth from the Decepticons during the Battle of New York City and he would regain the Creation Matrix from Megatron. He can also combine with his Powermaster Trailer to form a larger, more powerful battle mode, becoming Super Powermaster Optimus Prime. Super Powermaster Optimus Prime can also combine with Godbomber into God Iron Apex Optimus Prime, providing with weapon blast deflection in heated battles.

During the Unicron Battles, Optimus sacrificed himself to stop Unicron the Chaos-Bringer and is later revived by the legendary Last Autobot to become Action Master Optimus Prime, becoming stronger, faster, and more alive than he was before. Losing the ability to transform due to the side-effects of the alien hyper-fuel Nucleon, Action Master Optimus Prime drives the Armored Convoy, a trailer truck with communications, fueling, and offensive capabilities. It divides into an interceptor shuttle and fortified battle headquarters equipped with a multitude of defense weaponry, including heat-seeking ballistic buzz bombs, a long-range photon cannon, rapid-fire disintegration laser, and double-barreled pom-pom cannons. Recent developments in perfecting the Nucleon has allowed several Action Masters, including Optimus, to regain the ability to transform. As an Action Master, Optimus would continue to fight against the Decepticons' tyranny in the war's final few battles, most notably the infamous Battle of Chicago, where he finally slew Megatron (...for now).

After the Battle of Chicago, anti-Transformer sentiments rose and the Autobots' most faithful allies, the covert military organization Skywatch, was forced to be decommissioned and replaced by a black ops taskforce known as Cemetery Wind. Publicly, Cemetery Wind was responsible for hunting down the remaining Decepticon forces. However, unknown to higher-ups in the government, they actually hunted down both Autobot and Decepticon indiscriminately, and were secretly working with the unaffiliated bounty hunter Lockdown, who was hired by the Quintessons to capture Optimus Prime for their own purposes. With the Autobots scattered across the globe, Optimus was forced to go into hiding and take on the beat-up and dilapidated form of Magna Optimus Prime to throw off his pursuers, forced to abandon his large arsenal of weapons, having only a ion shotgun to defend himself. As Magna Optimus Prime, he transforms into a run-down and rusty 1973 Marmon HDT-AC 86 Cabover Truck. A badly-wounded Magna Optimus is then discovered by struggling inventor Cade Yeager, who shelters him in his home. Escaping the eyes of Cemetery Wind, Optimus Prime leads the Autobots once again, taking on the form of the new and improved Laser Optimus Prime. In this form, his entire structural integrity and logistical circuitry processors were programmed into a sleeker, stronger, combat-ready configuration. With a new arsenal of weapons such as a giant, laser-targeting rocket launcher, a ripple-fire photon missile blaster, and armor-piercing annihilation discs, along with the revered Sword of Judgement that once belonged to the fabled Knights of Cybertron, Laser Optimus takes a stand against Lockdown, Cemetery Wind, and a Decepticon-controlled army of KSI Transformer Drones. As Laser Optimus Prime, Optimus is now a Triple Changer, able to transform into either a 1995 Western Star 4964EX Sleeper Truck with a Cybertronian Fuel Tank Trailer or a Heavily-Armed Cybertronian Jet Bomber. Optimus would witness many key moments in this new body, such as the reconstitution of the shattered AllSpark, which allowed for the long-awaited revitalization of Cybertron, and the short-lived Fourth Cybertronian Civil War, which ended with Autobots and Decepticons finally putting aside their differences and join forces in the name of peace as they fought alongside their creator-god Primus against a resurrected Unicron and his Blentron forces.

In the post-war era, Hot Rod steps forward as the new Matrix-bearer Rodimus Prime and Optimus Prime decides that his work as Supreme Commander is finally over. Taking on a mentor role for Rodimus during Cybertron's reconstruction efforts, he dons the name Optimus Major. Upgraded with a new body similar to his original Earth form but with denser armor and heavy weapons, and enhanced by advanced nanotechnology from the remote Bersalis Star Cluster, Optimus, while no longer Prime, continues his role as the strong and wise protector of all free people in the universe, fighting alongside his fellow Transformers in battles against the likes of MECH, the Transformer Reaction Force, the Celestials, the Quintessons, the Neo-Decepticon Movement led by Galvatron and Nemesis Prime, the Shadow Collective led by Violen Jiger and his Thirteen Great Demon Generals, evil Autobots from a mirror universe, Liege Maximo's Cybertronian Empire, the Swarm, and more.

After all the ghosts of the Cybertronian Civil Wars are finally put to rest, total peace settles across Cybertron under the Pax Cybertronia. By the 24th century, the planet then undergoes the Great Upgrade, a great technological quantum leap which sees the creation of the "proto-races" - the Maximals and the Predacons - a next-generation of smaller, more energy-efficient Cybertronians descended from the Autobots and the Decepticons, who're viewed as honorable elders and legendary war veterans known as "The Builders of Cybertron". Some of the Builders decide to go immersant retire themselves to become one with Cybertron itself to better run its systems, becoming living statues, while others have downsized themselves as Micromasters to save on energy while a few were upgraded into Maximals and Predacons. Optimus, however, is among the small minority of mobile Builders who haven't become Micromasters, with him acting as Cybertron's ambassador in the Interplanetary Peace Alliance. In this new era, Optimus has been reformatted with a smaller and more versatile body to become Star Convoy, now having the decals of the Valour's Flame, given to an Autobot who has done great service for Cybertron. While no longer bearing the title as the Last Prime, Star Convoy is looked upon by Cybertron's population as the planet and the entire galaxy's greatest hero, who'll return to help them in their darkest hour. As Star Convoy, Optimus can transform into either a heavily-modified 1979 Freightliner WFT-8664T Cabover Semi-Trailer Truck with a Cybertronian Trailer armed with gun turrets and missile launchers and a Cybertronian Mobile Battlestation that can be operated by Micromasters. Star Convoy can Powerlinx with Neo Rodimus Prime to Grand Convoy, combining the power and wisdom of a Prime of old and a Prime of new to form a great warrior dedicated in the preservation of freedom and tranquility.

Optimus Prime can combine with Mirage, Sunstreaker, Ironhide, and Prowl to become the powerful behemoth Optimus Maximus. As Star Convoy, he can combine with them to form Great Optimus Maximus, the supreme defender of all sentient beings in the multiverse.

Bumblebee (Function: ESPIONAGE) - Formerly a courier bot initially designated B-127, Bumblebee is essentially Team Prime's little brother, a young and eager Autobot who was among the last generation of Transformers to be created before the loss of the AllSpark. He's full of energy and determination to do the right thing, and can always be counted on to volunteer for action. His small size, matched with his impressive speed, made him an excellent scout and messenger on both Cybertron and Earth. Bumblebee's signature weapons are a pair of electro-stingers that can be used to zap his enemies, along with two ion blasters integrated in his arms. He idolizes the bigger Autobots - especially Optimus Prime, Prowl, Ironhide, and the war veteran Goldbug (who he views as a father due to him being his mentor at Scout School back on Cybertron) - and strives to be accepted by his peers. He takes criticism harshly, especially from Sunstreaker, who seems to enjoy pointing out Bumblebee's faults to the others. Although they sometimes can't help but laugh at Sunstreaker's cruel jokes, most of Team Prime's other members appreciate Bumblebee's skills and fun-loving, wisecracking nature. Bumblebee often misinterprets their overtures of acceptance as condescension, which only steels his resolve to prove himself and belong. Bumblebee's grown to like and understand humans such as their allies in Central City, most particularly Charlie Watson, Raf Esquivel, Sari Sumdac, and Buster, Spike, and Sam Witwicky. He also developed a love for Earth culture in almost the same way as Jazz or Hound, considering the planet to be his adopted homeworld. His unusual best friend was the energon farmbot turned demolitions expert Bulkhead, whom became his long-time partner, and he has a strong brotherhood with his siblings-in-arms Cliffjumper and Arcee. Bumblebee's closest companion is Windblade, who, over time, would become conjunx ambir and then conjunx endura. He can go underwater for reconnaissance and salvage missions. He's also equipped with the Wave Crusher, a jet ski/trailer that transforms into a jet pack capable of giving him flight capabilities. Although he's physically the weakest Autobot, Bumblebee's stealth more compensates for this inadequacy. Bumblebee transforms into a 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Coupe.

During the War on Earth, Bumblebee is heavily damaged during a battle with an upgraded Megatron armed with the Minicon Weaponizer Combiner Weapon, the Astro Blaster. With him on the verge of death, Ratchet and Wheeljack were barely able to save his spark before it went burnout. With Bumblebee's spark secure, they gave an extensive job in rebuilding his body, which now incorporated experimental goldfire shielding armor and a new gold-and-dark blue color scheme, resulting in a brand new body. Now calling himself Goldfire, he's more serious, assertive, and mature than he was, as he now realizes what others think of he isn't nearly as important as what he thinks of himself. Goldfire transforms into a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Coupe.

Goldfire would become one of the many, many casualties of an Underbase-powered Starscream, and he and his fallen comrades would be then put into spark support in Ratchet's repair bay aboard the Ark. In order to deal with a new Decepticon counteroffensive led by Skorponok, Goldfire was among the few Autobots who were recommissioned as Pretenders. However, instead of simply restoring Goldfire, Ratchet had rebuilt him back as Bumblebee, as she always preferred his original form. Now as Classic Pretender Bumblebee, this former tiny titan is now bigger and better than ever, with his Pretender shell equipped with titanium armor, a sonic blaster, an ion laser pistol, and a turbo-thrusted rocketpack. His reinforced helmet is equipped with a multi-band radio transmitter and thermal tracking meters. His car mode is also equipped with X-ray lasers in his headlights that are hot enough to burn through solid rock. Bumblebee's entire frame, chassis, and outer armor has been refortified for added endurance and fighting power on the battlefield. As a Pretender, Bumblebee transforms into a 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe.

Towards the end of the Cybertronian Civil Wars, Optimus Prime would officially promote Bumblebee to a full-fledged warrior, rechristened Mjolnir Bumblebee. In the post-war era, Bumblebee, now a well-respected Lieutenant in the Cybertronian Elite Guard, would wind up in charge of training Cybertron's future defenders. In his new role, Mjolnir Bumblebee's old gung-ho enthusiasm has been tempered by his newfound maturity and the burdens of leadership...and doubts about whether or not he can fill the shoes of his former commander Optimus. That said, he's learning through trial and error to lead in his own way, and slowly but surely Bumblebee is stepping out of Optimus's shadow to become a capable leader in his own right. In his Mjolnir form, Bumblebee's body almost perfectly resembles his original Earth body but a black-and-yellow color scheme, along with denser armor and improved weaponry, with his primary weapon being the Hammer of Primus, an ancient Cybertronian artifact which allowed its chosen wielder to control lightning and thunder as if they were a god. Enhanced by Bersalis nanotechnology, he is able to take his body apart at will and reassemble himself much like the Junkions. Mjolnir Bumblebee transforms into a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Concept.

Jazz (Function: SPECIAL OPERATIONS AGENT) - Optimus Prime's right-hand man Jazz loves Earth culture. He's the Autobot who picked up on human customs the fastest and studied them, mostly their pop-culture. As such, he has taken a liking to Earth music, equipping his alt-mode with 180db stereo speakers that create disorienting sound shows. He enjoys spending his free time playing his treasured Aghartan electro-bass in his quarters. As the stylish and competent Special Operations Agent of the Autobots, Jazz usually takes on the most dangerous missions. He is a Cyber-Ninja, personally trained by the wise old Master Yoketron of the Cyber-Ninja Corps, and wields a pair of laser nunchaku and multi-purpose shurikens. Even though he's more adept in melee weapons, Jazz is also armed with a crescent cannon, a flamethrower, and a full-spectrum beacon. Despite his small size, he's by no means a coward, willing to take on any foe, big or small. While known to be clever and daring, Jazz can be easily distracted. Jazz transforms into a 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP Weekend Club Racer Concept.

Jazz would become one of the many, many casualties of an Underbase-powered Starscream, and would wound up on spark support in Ratchet's repair bay. In order to deal with a new Decepticon counteroffensive led by Skorponok, he was among the few Autobots who were recommissioned as Pretenders. Now as Classic Pretender Jazz, our danger-loving daredevil would don a Pretender shell armed with a semi-automatic ion pulse gun and a deflector shield. His inner robot mode now has hydraulic lifters in his legs that enable him to jump over fifty feet. Jazz's race car mode is equipped with blinding, full-spectrum headlights and deafening 180 decibel speakers, thermal-sensitive windows that provide supplement solar power, and nitro-injected 12-cylinder engines that allow him to reach speeds in excess of Mach 1. As a Pretender, Jazz transforms into a 2008 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe.

Ironhide (Function: SECURITY) - Ironhide is the oldest, toughest, and most battle-tested member of Team Prime and Optimus Prime's old friend, having been one of the Autobots' founding members and even trained Optimus back when he was Orion Pax before the war. "Go chew on a microchip" is his slogan. As the head security officer of the Ark, Ironhide usually prefers action more than words, always ready to bust some Decepticons ("Deceptichops" as he calls them). Though he may be rough around the edges, he's still optimistic and upbeat. Ironhide is the conjunx endura of Chromia, the seasoned infiltrator of Elita-One's Amazon Squadron, and has a close partnership with human military officer William Lennox. Ironhide has an enormous arsenal of weapons at his disposal - from his (in)famous pair of arm-mounted heavy ion cannons which he may or may not have used to blow up the planet Kaiba V to a water gun that shoots a variety of liquids from supercooled nitrogen to superheated lead to a hidden dagger that he can throw at unsuspecting enemies whenever he's out of ammo to his favorite, a six-barreled ion heavy chaingun that he nicknamed "BIG IRON" to vent his anger upon the Decepticon scum who destroyed his hometown Arkenstone during the leadup to the war. He's also equipped with an upgrade that allows him to encase his outer shell with trithyllium-steel skin that makes him nearly invulnerable to attack. Due to his old age, Ironhide's the slowest and most fragile member of all of Team Prime...but that won't stop him. He's has enough replacement parts to build a small army, ready to fight to the bitter end and take down more than his fair share of Cons in the process. Ironhide transforms into a 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Pickup Truck.

Ratchet (Function: CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER) - Ratchet was the best tool-and-die girl (or femme) on Cybertron. In her workbay on Earth, she can make anything from a pin to a missile and repairs injured bots, given the right parts. Once an idealistic doctor and party-animal, Ratchet's optimism tempered as Cybertron descended into nine million years of civil war, giving rise to a brand of world-weary cynicism all her own. With Team Prime's supplies becoming extremely low due to a majority of resources is being directed to the Autobots' ongoing war effort in outer space, she works to find new ways to make do, and she'd really prefer if her teammates didn't risk injury (or worse) to protect humans. She'd also prefer the humans weren't brought back to the Ark but since she's unfamiliar with human tech, she always needs help from big brains like Chip Chase or Raf Esquivel to help her out. However, this cantankerous and sometimes gruff attitude is something of a façade she's deliberately cultivated to hide her natural compassion for her fellow Autobots and innocent organics. Despite giving lots of backtalk to her patients, Ratchet still gets the job done as well as anybody. She has laser scalpels, arc-wielders, saw blades, electromagnetic pulse generators, electron microscopes, circuit sensors, and fluid dispensers at her disposal. Ratchet also has a cane armed with a plasma shock taser after being severely damaged during a Decepticon bombardment on Iacon back during the War for Cybertron. Although she's a healer, Ratchet often finds herself on the front lines of combat and, on occasion, the last hope the Autobots have. These pressures are sometimes too much for her to handle, but Ratchet ultimately never gives up. Ratchet transforms into a 1979 Nissan Sunny-Vanette Coach SGL Ambulance.

- Cyberhawk (Function: MEDICAL ASSISTANCE/RECONNAISSANCE) - Cyberhawk is Ratchet's assistant drone, created back on Cybertron before the war to help her with patients at her civilian clinic. Then, awakening on present-day Earth, Cyberhawk continues to help Ratchet repair damaged Autobots, always trying to cheer her up whenever she's down in the dumps. Never a poster child for bravery or self-confidence, this little drone has been charged by Team Prime with protecting their human friends, the members of S.T.A.R.S., surprising Autobots with his newfound courage and intense desire to protect his friends from harm. As a Triple Changer, Cyberhawk can transform into either a Cybertronian Camcorder or a Cybertronian Stun Gun.

Prowl (Function: MILITARY STRATEGIST) - Pragmatist. Calculating and cold. Rule-bound. Prick. Just some words to describe Prowl, and that's by those he'd consider allies. As the Autobots' top military strategist, Prowl is Optimus Prime's indispensable right-hand man. He will keep at a task for as long as it takes. His dedication to logic and reason makes him an excellent listener, but he's not much of a talker. Prowl detests anything and everything that he sees as unorderly and is always seen following protocol. To him, the war against the Decepticons is nothing more than a maddening confluence of factors that he can't control. But that doesn't stop him from trying as he occasionally makes morally dubious decisions in an attempt to expand his influence and produce the results he desires. Prowl always believes he's serving the greater good in order to ensure that the Autobots achieve a perfect victory in this seemingly never-ending conflict, but his uptight personality makes him come off as uncaring of the harm that he causes to his fellow Bots and their human allies. This puts him on odds with many of his fellow Autobot senior officers, most notably Dynobot Leader Grimlock - both of them see themselves as candidates for the position of future leader of the Autobots if Prime goes out of commission. Grimlock doesn't really care how he'll get there, but all that Prowl desires is Optimus Prime's approval even if he has cross lines that even Megatron himself wouldn't do. He can fire wire-guided incendiary missiles and high-corrosive acid pellets. His primary weapon is the Investigator Special - a electroconductive gel that's quite adept at redirecting internal signals, paralyzing his targets long enough for him to bring them in. Prowl's also equipped with jet boosters on his back to give himself limited flight. Despite his stern attitude and inherent ruthlessness, he has a soft side towards his fellow teammates in Team Prime, including his younger brothers Smokescreen and Bluestreak, who, despite their differences, he sees as the only family he has left after the destruction of their home-city Praxus back on Cybertron. Prowl transforms into a 2010 BMW R-1200-RT Touring Motorcycle.

Cliffjumper (Function: WEAPONS SPECIALIST) - Cliffjumper (or Cliff, as he's known by his chums) isn't your run-of-the-mill Autobot freedom fighter. Armed with six-cylinder ion cannons, arm-mounted "glass gas" blasters that can make metal as brittle as glass, a quantum-sensitive multiphase targeting system that would make Megatron jealous, and of course, the old-school technique of pummeling Decepticons with his fists, Cliffjumper prefers to liven up the day with firefights while retrieving enemy intelligence. As the war spread from Cybertron to the stars, he has embraced the path of a warrior as a few other Autobots did, earning him the title of weapons expert, skilled in both melee and ranged combat. Although he does care for the safety of Earth's people, he often finds them and the planet's rough terrain as a hindrance in his effectiveness in battle, which often leads to him expressing this mild contempt through the destruction of property. Thankfully, his bloodthirsty attitude is tempered thanks to his conjunx endura and long-time partner Arcee, who's always been by his side wherever the battlefield takes them. Cliffjumper is one of the fastest Autobots in Team Prime, next to the young Bumblebee, who sees him as an older brother figure despite his surly and impetuous nature. His recklessness often leads to actual blow-outs and situations too dangerous for him to handle. Cliffjumper transforms into a 2014 Dodge Challenger A/T Untamed Concept.

Arcee (Function: PATHFINDER) - A former explorer and recordskeeper who saw the wonders of the galaxy for living before the Great War, Arcee is the least physically imposing of Team Prime, but she's also one of the most reliable members, Optimus Prime's go-to-gal when he needs someone to count on. Whatever she lacks in physical strength, she more than makes up for it in both agility and nimbleness, and force of personality. Quick-witted and formidable in the battle, this tough-at-nails fembot is compassionate to her friends yet merciless to her foes. Arcee often teams up with the Wreckers as her gung-ho skills and knowledge assists them with the more mystical and extremely insane missions the black ops group might take. She's equipped with a pair of energo-blades that are just thin and sharp enough to cut through almost anything. She's an expert marksman carrying two proton pistols along with a ten-cylinder ion chaingun. Tragedy early in her Autobot career had rattled her, which saw her firsthand witnessing the death of her little sister Wind Chaser at the hands of her former friend Flamewar, and it was only by the guiding hand of her conjunx Cliffjumper and sisters-in-arms Elita-One and Chromia that she was able to recover, at least partially. Arcee is a strong femme, but the only one who doesn't think so is Arcee herself. Slowly, but surely, Arcee is coming around again and facing her past demons, with the bravery and ingenuity of her human partner Jack Darby started to grow on her. Arcee transforms into a 2001 Honda S2000 AP1 Convertible.

Bulkhead (Function: ARMORED GUARDIAN) - Bulkhead looks huge and menacing, but is actually quite careless and gentle-souled, with him being raised on a backwater energon farm before the war. Though he's neither a brainiac nor a fast runner, Bulkhead is one of the most sturdy members of Team Prime. He's afraid of hurting things smaller and more fragile than him, but his time on Earth has helped him grow past that. He enjoys spending with his new human friend, self-proclaimed honorary Wrecker Miko Nakadai, whether watching kaiju movie marathons or monster truck rallies broadcasted by Teletraan I back on the Ark, or painting graffiti in Central City's abandoned residential districts. He has a low tolerance for jerks and bullies, and is quite happy to let people like that stew in the trouble they've made for themselves, but his better impulses - or at least, needling from those around him - always sway him into helping in the end. Bulkhead is also protective of his teammates, most particularly his best buddy Bumblebee and fellow Wrecker Wheeljack, even if their impulsive behavior is sometimes annoying and often gets them into trouble that he has to pull them out of. For all his sweetness, he's still a Wrecker through and through. Yet, despite participating in several major battles and campaigns, his past career has left some painful psychological scars. Being part of an elite black ops paramilitary organization means you have to do the dirty work that no one can do, and Bulkhead's seen many horrors and friends meet a bad end. Though saddened by his traumatic experiences with the Wreckers, he's joined up with Optimus Prime to end the fight with Megatron, for the sake of his fallen comrades. Bulkhead is one of the physically strongest among Team Prime, rivaling Brawn as he possessed above average strength and very dense armor. He specializes in close range combat, wielding a pair of titanium wrecking balls built into his hands which, with his immense strength, can shatter steel with incredible force. While he may look as a big, dumb lummox at first glance, Bulkhead is exceptional in the mechanics of both Space Bridge and Transwarp Drive technology, but he's often overlooked because he's not quite as knowledgeable in most other things or doesn't carry himself as someone like Wheeljack or Perceptor or Brainstorm or Mainframe might. Bulkhead transforms into a 1989 Lamborghini LM002 SUV.

Wheeljack (Function: MECHANICAL ENGINEER) - Fully earning his reputation as Team Prime's mad scientist, Wheeljack fiddles with a dozen projects at once in his workshop, mumbling and chuckling to about each new weapon or gadget he has made - regardless if they're successes or failures. A former member of the Wreckers covert ops team, Wheeljack's seen plenty of action, and he's got the snarky one-liners to prove it. If there's anything he likes more than thrashing Decepticons and their experimental superweapons in different ways, it's hanging with his fellow wrecking buddy Bulkhead (who calls him "Jackie"). While he's most adept at stunt driving in his car mode, Wheeljack likes to show off flying 800 miles a hour using solid-fuel rockets in his arms. He enjoys slicing up Decepticons with his Cybertanium katanas. He can also shoot a magnetic inducer, shrapnel-needle, and gyro-inhibitor shells from his shoulder cannons. Wheeljack is his own worst enemy as most of his new inventions ends up blowing up in his face. On the other hand, he loves blowing up alien technology. Despite getting annoyed at the explosions coming from his workshop, the Autobots have gotten used to Wheeljack's antics and they do appreciate his innovations. Wheeljack transforms into a 1977 Alitalia Lancia Stratos Turbo Gr. 5.

Jetfire (Function: AIR GUARDIAN) - Jetfire started in the Decepticon Movement because of their initial views on freedom of work, but defected to the Autobots during the height of the Great War as it became radicalized and more violent. His strong moral compass led him to join the Autobots, which led to the falling-out with his best friend Starscream. Starscream and the Seekers are eager to hunt down and destroy the traitorous Jetfire for trying to intrude on the aerial domain they consider their territory. As the swiftest Autobot flyer, he's daring in battle and believes victory can be achieved via technological advancement. He's equipped with twin scramjet modules and liquid hydrogen fuel tanks to escape Earth's gravity. Jetfire can fly halfway around the world in 30 minutes. He carries 4 particle-beam cannons and heat-seeking photon missiles. He's prone to mechanical failures due to the development of new advanced technology. While having the support of Optimus Prime, Prowl, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Road Hauler, Jetfire hasn't yet fit in with the rest of Team Prime due to him being with the Decepticons for too long, so some Autobots feel that he could be soft on their enemies or, even worse, he may turn on them after realizing his "cold calculations" swing the other way. Despite witnessing all the evil the Cons have done, Jetfire still keeps the Decepticon insignia on his chassis because he remembers how the Decepticons were originally revolutionaries who wanted to change their oppressed world for better before they were slowly twisted into the very thing they swore to fight against - tyrants. Jetfire transforms into a B-1 Lancer, modified to serve as transport for his fellow Autobots.

- D.0.C. (Function: TECHNICAL ENGINEER) - While on Earth, Jetfire created his own personal assistant drone D.0.C., named after the type of memory system he uses, a Dynamic Zero-Phase Chalcogenide unit. D.0.C. is usually seen accompanying Jetfire and carrying out his master's orders. He communicates by various beeps which only Jetfire seems to understand. While Jetfire values him exclusively for technical assistance, D.0.C. is treated by some others as a friend, rather than a sparkless automaton. This distinction does not go unnoticed, and D.0.C. is always eager to help those who hold him in such esteem.

Overload (Function: TROOP TRANSPORT) - Overload is a bold and daring soldier, one of the last surviving members of the New Knights of Cybertron (named after Cybertron's ancient vanguard force of guardian knights), who swore on their lives to protect the Creation Matrix and its bearer. Right before the war began, the Knights were annihilated when they guarded Optimus Prime's predecessor Sentinel Prime from an assassination attempt by the Decepticons, with the survivors being their junior membership that Overload was part of. After the New Knights of Cybertron's fragmentation, Overload was placed in the position as a battlefield tactician where his skills could be put to the test as he proved himself to be a tactical genius on the frontlines, only for his unhealthy obsession of getting revenge on the Cons who murdered his brethren to get the best of him. When Sentinel was succeeded by Optimus, Overload would be demoted to troop transport for his troubles. Extremely loyal to his fellow Autobots yet also extremely arrogant, he often breaks away from cargo-hauling missions to help the rest of Team Prime whenever they're overwhelmed by the enemy. His trailer can convert into a turbo-boosted, supersonic fighter jet armed with wing-mounted, double-barreled machine guns and laser-guided, lock-target scanners that provide pinpoint firepower. He's also capable of reaching speeds in excess of Mach 2 and equipped with hydrofoil capabilities. Overload transforms into a 1989 International 9700 Semi-Cab Truck with a Cybertronian Heavy Weapons Trailer. He's also a Triple Changer who can transform a massive Cybertronian Artillery Platform that can Powerlinx with any Autobot to give them extra firepower in the form of shoulder-mounted heavy guns.

Afterburn (Function: SPEICAL OPERATIONS TROOPER) - Afterburn is a young special ops trooper of the Cybertronian Elite Guard, eager to fight and prove himself to the elder members of Team Prime. He is very much the typical brash young youth with a lot of potential. Even younger than Bumblebee, Afterburn is created from a batch of cryogenic stored sparks that were originally for future colonization projects during the Golden Age, only for them to be used by the Autobots to create new soldiers to bolster their forces in their fight against the Decepticons after the AllSpark's ejection from Cybertron. He's capable of laying the smackdown to Cons with his super-fast agility and arm-mounted plasma fire cannons. Afterburn has always seen his homeworld Cybertron as a war-torn wasteland, making him a testament to the effect that the Great War has had on Transformers of his generation. This leads to him to do anything to make sure that the same thing doesn't happen to his new home Earth, even give up his own life. Although he does have something to live in this world - that being fellow Autobot youngster Patch-Up, whom he's had feelings for since their time together in the Autobot Academy back on Cybertron. Afterburn transforms into a 1990 Suzuki Swift GA 1.0L Hatchback.

Patch-Up (Function: TRAINING FIELD MEDIC) - Cute as a button, Patch-Up is a ditzy medbot. She is sweet and caring willing to patch up anyone whom is wounded, friend or foe alike. She's is a skilled medic but her processor seems to be on the fritz at times. When she first saw a car crash on Earth, she tried to help the cars. She had to be taught by her human friends that Earth machines aren't alive like Cybertronians. Like her mutual crush Afterburn, Patch-Up is a Made to Order (M.T.O.) Autobot, constructed to bolster the Autobot forces in response to numerous military campaigns as the war can to intensify following the loss of the AllSpark. She was originally stationed on Moonbase One as the training medic for the Autobot Starfleet. But certain circumstances, such as the Great Exodus, changed all that, for she soon ended up with Optimus Prime's team aboard the Ark, training under her idol Ratchet. Patch-Up's not much of a warrior, often requiring her comrades to come to her rescue. Despite all that, she's not helpless. She has knocked out enemies with sedatives integrated in her fingers, or shocked them with defibrillators in her hands. Her primary tool is a multi-purpose medical laser gun that can be used as both a wielding tool and a ranged weapon. Patch-Up is a sweet ditz, but she can be scary when angry, and normally that happens when someone fights in her infirmary or when someone is or when someone is about to do something stupid when they should be still in recovery. Patch-Up transforms into a 2015 Medix Ford Transit Type II Ambulance.

The Lamborghini Twins - The Lamborghini Twins are a pair of troublesome Autobot siblings born from a split Spark and a protoform at birth and eventually matured into two different bots - a mech named Sideswipe and a femme named Sunstreaker. In the early days of the Great War, they were originally criminals from Kaon who were caught stealing energon rations from an Autobot fuel depot and then were offered a chance of freedom by joining them. They're "quite the pair", their former mentor Ironhide says. Sides and Sunny always drive other 'bots crazy with their swagger and arrogance. If they weren't quite so effective on the battlefield, he'd have told Optimus Prime to show them the door. The Twins are very agile in battle thanks to their wheel-legged forms.

- Sideswipe (Function: WARRIOR) - Sideswipe is nearly an equal to his twin sister Sunstreaker in martial arts, but less cold-blooded. He relishes for a fight to the finish with his opponents. Sideswipe often uses underhanded tactics when absolutely necessary. Though proficient with guns, he prefers melee combat to ranged weapons, and will employ any maneuver it takes to get close enough to the enemy to use his arm-mounted Cybertanium swords on them. He can fly up to 2 minutes with his rocket backpack. He can also fire flares visible for 18 miles. Sideswipe's rash actions can often lead to injures to himself, though he takes them all in stride with his catchphrase, "I don't break the rules, I bend them...a lot". This often leads him bicker with the more rule-bound Autobots, especially the stalwart Strongarm. Sideswipe transforms into a 1974 Lamborghini Countach LP500 Turbo S.

- Sunstreaker (Function: WARRIORESS) - The complete egotist, Sunstreaker thinks she is the most beautiful thing on Earth. She loves her sleek styling, and is contemptuous of the other Autobot race cars (particularly her twin brother Sideswipe). Sunstreaker's older than Sideswipe...by 4 Earth seconds. Sunstreaker fires laser-guided, ground-to-air rockets and high energy electron pulses at 300 bursts/sec. She's armed with wrist-mounted plasma blasters. She has tough polymer-steel skin that resists artillery. Sunstreaker isn't always a team player, so she's easily baited into dangerous situations by the other members of Team Prime. While Sunstreaker seems calm, but in the battlefield, she's a very ruthless war machine. She doesn't see much in humans, regardless if they're allies or civilians, viewing them as nothing more than noisy creatures that always get the way in their battles. Sunstreaker transforms into a 1974 Super-Tuned Lamborghini Countach LP500 Turbo S.

- Bob (Function: INSECTICON SCOUT) - Bob is a docile member of the Insecticon Swarm, bestial Insecticon clones created by Shockwave that once roamed the Sea of Rust and ravaged Autobot armies for the Decepticons. During a trip back to Cybertron, Sunstreaker found Bob wandering alone in the outskirts of Iacon and trained him to sniff out other Insecticons and Decepticons for the Elite Guard. Bob enjoys his time playing with plush toys aboard the Ark and being petted by his owner.

Road Hauler (Function: TRANSPORT/RESOURCE EXPLORATION) - Road Hauler, or just "Hauler" by some, was a member of a Constructicon unit involved with Megatron during the Decepticon Uprising, which eventually escalated into the Third Cybertronian Civil War. In the war's early years, he was disgusted by his comrades' ruthless ways when they were involved in the destruction of their former home-city Crystal City, which led him defecting to the Autobots. This choice would eventually put him alongside Optimus Prime aboard the Ark. When the Autobots arrived on Earth, he resumed his primary function: the discovery and procurement of energy sources for Team Prime. Highly detail-orientated yet astoundingly capricious, Road Hauler often submits several construction schematics, allowing his back-up plans to have back-up plans. His spontaneity is occasionally dangerous on the battlefield as he suddenly decides to alter his tactics or position without considering the skirmish around him. His crane mode can lift 60 tons, and in robot mode, he can launch his hands from their wrist-sockets. The hands can fly through the air under his remote-control guidance, allowing him to perform tasks normally beyond his reach. Facing his old Constructicon teammates in battle is an incredible challenge for Road Hauler, but under the direct command of Optimus Prime, Hauler believes it is a challenge that he will be able to overcome. Road Hauler transforms into a 1958 Mitsubishi Fuso Crane Truck.

Hound (Function: SCOUT) - To Hound, Earth represents everything Cybertron is not, and everything he longs to have. Whether he's bravely penetrating an enemy outpost as a scout or just exploring the landscape in his personal time, Hound continually marvels at our blue planet's natural wonders, comparing it the tranquil state that Cybertron was before the war. In fact, he loves Earth so much that he even secretly desires to be human. A member of the Primal Vanguard, a group of spacefaring peacekeepers founded by Nova Prime during the Golden Age, Sergeant Hound is a brave, loyal, and fearless veteran who has more field experience and knowledge of the wider galaxy than most Autobots alive today. He's equipped with a turret gun that can be used as a radar scope and infrared radiation collector. He has a strong sense of smell that allows him to track nearby machines as well as humans. Hound's signature weapon is his hologram gun, which can create 3-dimensional grid laser-light topographical maps. He's vulnerable to thermal and electromagnetic interference. Hound transforms into a 1943 Mitsubishi J59 Military Jeep.

Mirage (Function: SPY) - Where's Mirage been while the other Autobots have been fighting this war? Doing what he does best: hiding. An elitist with a chip on his shoulder, he was never the easiest Autobot to get along with. He prefers hunting turbofoxes on Cybertron with his high-priced friends or racing with the Omnibots on the race tracks of Monte Carlo rather than fighting in the frontlines. While he's an effective fighter, Mirage is a more effective intelligence gatherer. He has a built-in electro-disrupter that can bend photons and other electronic waves, allowing him to either render himself invisible or change his physical appearance and location, making it look like he's not even there. However, Mirage's electro-disrupter can only last for 6 minutes before it starts draining on his energon reserves. He's also an expert marksman with armor-piercing rocket-dart hunting rifle. Mirage's function as a spy and him unsure of the Autobot cause makes him to be seen as downright untrustworthy at times by the others, especially the brash Cliffjumper. Mirage transforms into a 1980 F-1 Ligier J-11/15 Formula Racer.

Bluestreak (Function: GUNNER) - The annoying yet tolerable younger brother of Prowl and Smokescreen, when Bluestreak starts to speak, he doesn't stop talking. Not only does he speak so incessantly and inanely. he also has a tendency to interrupt himself with tangential statements or jokes in the middle of whatever he started off saying, until the original point of the conservation is lost in his mind. Bluestreak's constant rambling does seem like an extension of his good-natured manners, in reality it's a defense mechanism after seeing the war's atrocities firsthand. He's still haunted by the memory of Decepticons destroying his home city of Praxus back on Cybertron during the early days of the Great War, with him immediately enlisting in the Autobot ranks afterwards to make sure that the Cons are stopped, no matter the cost. As a gunner, he can fire bombs up to 8.3 miles and lightning-like 80,000-volt beam up to 12 miles of limited accuracy. Despite his formidable weaponry and blazing speed, Bluestreak hates war and his disdain for violence sometimes hinders his effectiveness during battle, but his growing experience as a warrior is slowly starting to overcome. Bluestreak transforms into a 1983 Datsun 280ZX Turbo 5-Speed.

Trailbreaker (Function: DEFENSIVE STRATEGIST) - Trailbreaker makes light of any situation, no matter how serious. He's often seen by their human friends as Team Prime's resident practical joker and self-proclaimed cheerleader. While Optimus Prime sees Trailbreaker as a noble soldier trying to boost his fellow Bots' morale in spite of their dire situation, Trailbreaker considers himself a liability to his comrades since he consumes the most fuel. He also lacks self-esteem and often asks to be left behind during missions whenever he feels he's slowing his teammates down. As an Outlier - a Cybertronian with special powers that didn't match up with their alternate mode - Trailbreaker has the natural ability to project nearly impenetrable invisible force-fields and can jam radio transmissions. In addition of using a standard ion rifle, he can also use his wrist sockets to launch high-explosive missiles. He's very slow in vehicle mode. Trailbreaker often mopes about his handicaps, but his bravery and defensive prowess is unquestioned. Trailbreaker transforms into a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Premium Outdoor Concept.

Brawn (Function: DEMOLITIONS) - To Brawn, Earth is essentially a hostile environment...and he loves it. Strong, rugged, agile - he is the quintessential macho-man of all the Autobots of Team Prime. When not fighting, he tries to get his teammates to go up against him in sparring matches or arm wrestling. Brawn delights challenges and is sorry for those who not as tough as him. He also loves humor, the cruder and more unsophisticated the better. As the second strongest Autobot next to Optimus Prime, Brawn can lift 190,000 pounds and knock down a small building with one punch. He's equipped with a pair of armor-piercing pistols and an ion cannon that he can mount on his shoulder in robot mode or his roof in vehicle mode. His outer shell is nigh-invulnerable to artillery fire, but has no resistance against electromagnetic waves. Brawn transforms into a militarized 2008 Hummer HX Concept.

Gears (Function: TRANSPORT/RECONNAISSANCE) - Whenever Team Prime celebrates Christmas time at the Ark, the human kids see Gears as their resident Ebenezer Scrooge who sees the worst in everything and complains about it to everyone. A grumpy old bot frustrated in the situation that they got themselves in, with the Autobots being stranded on Earth, Gears has quickly established himself as a self-proclaimed, anti-social misfit. Despite closing himself off from everyone, he acts this way to help cheer others up as they try to cheer him up. Gears possesses tremendous strength and endurance as he can tote heavy loads in long distances. He can launch himself in the air to 20 miles, and then float down on compressed air. Gears easily becomes a easy target due to his limited maneuverability. He's equipped with a radar sensor that can detect infrared. Gears transform into a 2011 Toyota Sequoia Limited.

Huffer (Function: CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER) - If galactic historians ask you who was the inspiration for Rattrap, then point to Huffer as their guy. Huffer is cynical, hard-boiled, and pessimistic. "He looks at the world through sludge-colored windshields." He will complain that he can't just built something like a Transwarp Drive Engine with just a sheet of junk metal, a burn-out monitor, and some caked-up oil residue - only to do anyway and succeed in the next minute. Huffer's not too sociable, but absolutely reliable. His arm sensors can test materials for strength, heat resistance, elasticity, etc. Despite his extreme strength, Huffer is more keen of utilizing his brains than his brawn, having superior mathematical and geometrical abilities. Huffer is often unhappy and homesick for Cybertron. Huffer transforms into a 2017 Volvo F460 Globetrotter XL Cabover Truck.

Windcharger (Function: WARRIOR) - Windcharger is the fastest Autobot over short distances, rarely waiting to think or ask questions before moving to act. He's good in situations requiring fast, decisive action. But there's a dark side to this as Windcharger's short attention span may make him highly enthusiastic to start off, but it also causes him to lose interest quickly and become depressed. Usually his friends will come up with something to pique his interest again, saving him from staying listless. Windcharger is an Outlier who's able to cast powerful magnetic fields which can attract or repel large metal objects, with calling his power his "magic arms". However, his magnetokinesis takes up most of his power, leading to him often burning himself out due to carelessness. Windcharger's bipolar tendencies, coupled with his impatience makes him useless in long-term operations that require strict adherence to a plan. Windcharger transforms into a 1997 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 Ram Air.

The Omnibots - The Omnibots are a trio of Autobot advance scouts whose distinctive feature is an advanced "armored car" mode involving the deploying of weapons and/or wings from their otherwise-nondescript automobile modes.

- Overdrive (Function: STRATEGIST) - Overdrive commands the Omnibots with the expertise of a master strategist, though they find him sometimes cool and off-putting. The truth is, his desire to win at everything he does is his overriding concern, no matter the situation. For better or for worse, he seems to have the chops to back himself up, with an amazing amount of both physical and mental speed and acuity. His obliviousness to the risk of alienation may catch up with him one day, but until then, he seemingly can't help but revel in his superior talents. In vehicle mode, Overdrive can deploy a hood-mounted laser cannon and wings that allow him limited flight capabilities. In robot mode, he also wields a double-barreled electroshock blaster and an armor-piercing rocket launcher. Overdrive transforms into a 1984 Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer.

- Camshaft (Function: SCOUT) - Camshaft is tasked with covert operations, like scouting and tracking. He follows orders faithfully, but being on spy missions sometimes makes him paranoid that others are spying on him. If there's one thing he does trust, it's his super-hard body armor. Despite that and his notable intelligence, his sense of self-preservation is still so strong that he can't be counted on for battlefield heroics. Camshaft's armed with a rear-mounted "white noise" scrambler that fires pulses of energy that disrupt scanners and sensors and a low-powered plasma blaster. He's also highly efficient and capable of operating on long-range scouting missions for extended periods without refueling. Camshaft transforms into a 1981 Mazda RX7 Series 2 Coupe.

- Downshift (Function: SECURITY AGENT) - Downshift is dedicated to his job, but sometimes his superiors wish he wasn't so much so. As both a security agent and a scout, he tends to think that guarding something means not just securing the object of his duty, but also actively seeking out foes before they strike, whatever entanglements this may produce and however vulnerable this may actually leave his charges. He keeps up-to-date on all the latest law enforcement and military security tactics, and his disarmament techniques are at an expert level. He takes great pride in being on the cutting edge of anti-Decepticon spy warfare, but his excitability can lead to mistakes. In vehicle mode, Downshift's armed with two door-mounted lasers, as well as a roof-mounted energy net launcher for capturing fleeing targets. He is also has a neural shock gun that disables targets by making it incredibly painful to move. Downshift transforms into a 1980 Toyota Celica Supra.

The Powerdashers - Friendly, cheerful, and obedient, the Powerdashers are young Autobot multi-purpose specialists created to bolster the Autobot forces during the Great War's early days with their outer shell designs based on primitive forms of ancient Cybertronians. Upon reaching maturity, Powerdashers adopt a name of their choosing. A group of Powerdashers joined Team Prime in their journey to retrieve the AllSpark and now fight alongside them to defend Earth from the Decepticon menace, always happy and ready to do what they can to assist the Autobot cause. The Powerdashers' powers and personalities are still growing when they were put into duty, so is their ability to operate at various levels of kinetic energy hasn't been gained yet. The full extent of these abilities is unclear, as is their status in the spectrum between drone and sapient Transformer. But they have been said to be constantly evolving as they continue to adapt to new environments on Earth, so no apparent limitation will necessarily confine them forever.

- Drill Dashers (Function: MECHANICAL ENGINEERS) - The Drill Dashers are a group of Powerdashers that serve as battlefield engineers and tasked with the demolition of Decepticon positions. They transform into Cybertronian Drill Tanks.

- F-1 Dashers (Function: COURIER UNITS) - The F-1 Dashers are a group of Powerdashers that serve as quick-response troops and messengers. They transform into Cybertronian Race Cars.

- Sky Dashers (Function: AERIAL SUPPORT) - The Sky Dashers are a group of Powerdashers that serve as air support for Team Prime during missions and are in fact the very first Autobots with the power of flight before Project Aerialbot was commissioned in the war's early days. They transform into Cybertronian Jets.

The Autotroopers - A legion of Transformer drones who serve as foot soldiers or military police of the Autobot Army, the counterparts of the Decepticons's Eradicons. Autotroopers don't have sparks, however, they possess some degree of sentience in order to complete tasks that require thinking. In order to differentiate themselves, some have gotten their hands on paints to customize their bodyworks. Many Autotroopers were aboard the Ark when it crash-landed on Earth. After awakening in the present days, the Autotroopers then used as scouts for Team Prime, in-charge of defending Mount St. Hilary and the other Earth-bound Autobot bases, mining energon underneath Central City, and patrolling the cities of Earth for Decepticon activity. They generally share a uniform color scheme of white and blue.

- Alpha-Class Autotroopers (Function: GENERAL INFANTRYMEN) - Serve as footsoldiers and scouts that do ground attacks. They transform into 2008 Nissan Skyline GT-R35's.

- Beta-Class Autotroopers (Function: AERIAL SUPPORT) - Often act as support for Jetfire or any of the Aerialbots during aerial battles. They transform into F-14 Tomcats.

- Delta-Class Autotroopers (Function: NAVAL SOLDIERS) - A group of specialized naval soldiers who defend the Earth's coastal cities and oceans from a Decepticon attack. They transform into heavily-modified, semi-submersible Freedom-class Littoral Combat Ships (LCSs).

- Epsilon-Class Autotroopers (Function: SHARPSHOOTERS/HEAVY TROOPERS) - A group of strong yet specialized heavy soldiers that do ground attacks. They transform into M26 Pershing Heavy Tanks.

- Gamma-Class Autotroopers (Function: FIELD MEDICS) - A group of soldiers that are specialized in doing medical assistance for their allies. They transform into 2009 Ford E-350 Super Duty Ambulances.

- Zeta-Class Autotroopers (Function: SCOUTS) - A group of small and sleek scouts that patrol the streets of human cities for Decepticon activity alongside Prowl. They transform into 2008 MV Agusta F4-R312 Motorcycles.

Teletraan I (Function: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) - Teletraan I, part of the renowned Teletraan supercomputer series, is the onboard supercomputer of the Autobot Ark, possessing phenomenal logical reasoning and analytical capabilities. He also possesses a robotic humanoid body that's the same size of an average grown man, for him to do tasks that the Autobots are unable to do. As the "brain" of the Autobots' flagship, there's never been a more reliable computer program than Teletraan I.

During the short-lived Fourth Cybertronian Civil War, Teletraan I is able to modify and reconfigure the Ark from the ground up for the Autobot flagship to be able to transform into a titanic robot mode, based off the likeness of the mythologized Autonomous Maximus the Last Autobot, faithful servant to the original Thirteen Primes and Cybertron's ultimate warrior who fought for peace and freedom, becoming the direct inspiration of the original Autobot Movement. With Teletraan as the central intelligence, the Ark's robot mode possesses enormous strength and firepower powerful enough to cut through hundreds of Decepticon warships and can even make a large dent on the surface of Unicron himself.

- A.U.N.T.I.E. (Function: DEFENSE SYSTEM) - A.U.N.T.I.E. (Artificial Utility Nexus/Tactical Intelligence Entity) is a sub-program within Teletraan I that serves as the visual interface for all of the Ark's defense systems, including Auto-Combatant drone units and Gun Sentries. The Autobots are always careful around A.U.N.T.I.E. as she can easily switch from being a kind, charmful feminine AI who works with Team Prime and their human allies to achieve a bright future on Earth to a shrewd and callous military program who's single-minded in accomplishing whatever tasks Optimus Prime gives her. Dutiful and coldly logical in her actions, she's tasked with defending the Autobot mothership from the Decepticons at all costs, especially since the ship's lower decks houses 1 million unborn Autobot protoforms, intended to be the first of a "second generation" of Transformers if the Autobots ever fail to bring the AllSpark back to revitalize Cybertron.

- Teletraan X (Function: CONTROL OPERATIONS) - The "son" of Teletraan I and A.U.N.T.I.E., Teletraan X (Teletraan Extension Unit One) is essentially a sentient extension hard drive to the main computer. As the control systems operator of the Ark's bridge, he's responsible for maintaining communications with any and all Autobots scattered across the planet and keep them in contact with main headquarters. While Teletraan X wants to be helpful, its programming forbids it from helping anyone who is not a crewmember of Team Prime, a fact that it continually reminds everybody of...it's kinda hilarious once you get used to it.

- T-AI (Function: COORDINATOR) - T-AI (Tactical Artificial Intelligence) is the "daughter" program of Teletraan I and A.U.N.T.I.E., created by Ratchet as a new computer system to coordinate between the different earth-bound Autobot forces across the globe and maintain the elaborate Global Space/Ground Bridge Network. She generally keeps things running smoothly at the homebase in the Ark...or as smoothly as possible considering the variety of odd personalities that make up the ranks of Team Prime. As the latest of the Teletraan series, T-AI is an incredibly advanced computer that displays distinct emotions, self-awareness, a sense of humor, and - perhaps most notably - the ability to lose her patience. She is quick to berate verbally any Autobot found slacking off or doing something dumb.

Here's Part 1 of the Autobots, featuring Team Prime's original core roster, Ark Team Alpha, made up of the 1984 Autobots along with a few extras from across Generation 1, other continuities, and even a couple OCs.

As many of you can see, Optimus Prime has a ton of transformations and Super Modes. If you want why's that, read these quotes from the first episode of Beast Wars Season 3 "Optimal Situation":

- Cheetor: "Jumping gyros, Optimus sure learns a new body fast!"

- Rattrap: "Well wha'd ya expect? He changes 'em often enough!" winks at the camera

While it was never shown in any Transformers fiction, whenever Optimus Prime takes the Creation Matrix out of his chest, he reverts back to his original form of Orion Pax, kinda like how in the original G1 cartoon, Rodimus Prime turns back into Hot Rod whenever he doesn't have the Matrix. He will lose this ability when he becomes a Powermaster. I got this idea from the fan-made series Autobot Academy written by Stonecrusher and Devaron9. If you wanna know what Autobot Academy's like, just think Transformers meets My Hero Academia. Orion Pax's Earth body and alt-mode is based off of the Optimus Prime toy in Binaltech, Alternity, and the other Japanese series that shall not be named (for those who you know about what series I'm talking about, you know what I mean).

Godbomber was a character for the Japanese-exclusive G1 anime Super-God Masterforce, acting as Ginrai's drone partner who combined with him in his Super Ginrai form to form God Ginrai. When Godbomber's original toy was brought to the US in 2003 to come with an reissue of Powermaster Optimus Prime, he was renamed "Apex Bomber" and combined with Optimus to form the Apex Armor. According the now-defunct Transformers QnA "Ask Vector Prime", in some continuities, Apex Bomber/Godbomber was an upgraded version of Roller in some continuities. My version of Godbomber is heavily based on HK-47 from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, only without the desire of kill everything on sight and the knack of calling people "meatbags", along with small elements of IG-11 from The Mandalorian. His speech pattern will also resemble HK's, with him beginning sentences with "Statement: ..." or "Query: ...".

In the Beyondverse, Optimus' drone car Roller is named after IDW Roller, whose Beyondverse counterpart is deceased prior to the events of the main series. Roller has a robot mode like his Generations toy in 2013, but he'll speak in R2-D2 like beeps and boops like the Unicron Trilogy Minicons.

Optimus Prime's combat deck, the Armored Weapons Platform, is based off of his flight deck from Dark of The Moon, with small aspects of his combat deck from G1.

Super Optimus Prime and the Prime Force are based off of Optimus Prime's Super Mode from Transformers Energon.

Beyondverse Wingblade Optimus Prime is heavily based on combined elements of Optimus Prime Super Mode (Galaxy Convoy) from Transformers Cybertron, Wingblade Optimus Prime from Transformers Animated, the Omega Combat Armor/Ultimate Optimus Prime from Transformers: Dark of The Moon, and, as a surprise (something that has nothing to do with the Transformers franchise at all), the XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (TV version) from everybody's favorite Gundam series, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing. The Super Matrix Buster Rifle also takes inspiration from the Wing Gundam's buster rifle.

Like his Armada counterpart, Optimus can Powerlinx with Jetfire and Overload.

Omega Prime, a combination of Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, is from Robots in Disguise 2001, while Zenith Magnus, an OC belonging to 3dmarioworld, is based off of Powered Convoy from Diaclone. In the Beyondverse, Omega Prime and Zenith Magnus are treated like the Power Type (extra strength) and the Sky Type (extra speed) from Ultraman Tiga.

Magna Optimus Prime is based off of how Optimus was originally rusty and worn-out in the beginning of Age of Extinction, but his blue color scheme is based off of Powerlinx Optimus Prime in Transformers Armada's final few episodes.

Optimus Major is based off of Prime's original look in the short-lived Transformers Generation 2. Laser Optimus Prime is also from G2.

Beyondverse Star Convoy mostly resembles the original Star Convoy design from the Japanese-exclusive toyline and sequel to the Transformers Zone OVA, Return of Convoy/Battlestars, but he has the flame decals and alt-mode of Movie Optimus and he can also Powerlinx with Rodimus Prime.

Beyondverse Bumblebee's design is a combination of his G1, Movie, and Aligned counterpart. He also has a jetpack like his Animated counterpart. His upgraded mode will be called Goldfire as him and Goldbug will be separate characters in this continuity. Mjolnir Bumblebee will resemble Stealth Bumblebee with the inverted colors, but with small aspects of AOE/TLK Bumblebee with the hammer and the Junkion-like abilities.

Beyondverse Jazz's design is based on his Movie counterpart, but he has his G1 colors and some other aspects from G1 like his shoulder-mounted flamethrower. Jazz is also a Cyber-Ninja like his Animated counterpart.

Beyondverse Ironhide takes elements from G1, Bayformers, and Animated. His design is based off of unused concept art of Ironhide for Transformers Prime.

Beyondverse Ratchet has elements from his 2005 IDW, Animated, and Prime counterparts. I also made my version of Ratchet genderbent female based on Marvel writer Bob Budiansky's original plans on making Ratchet female since he did name him after the less-friendly medic Nurse Ratched from the 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

The idea of Ratchet having a cane is something that I got from Soundbluster's SG Prime Ratchet.

Cyberhawk is the Japanese name for Laserbeak from Transformers Armada. He will be basically the Haro for Team Prime, his partnership with Ratchet based off of Lockon Stratus and Haro from Mobile Suit Gundam 00.

Prowl's design is based off of his Animated counterpart, however he retains his G1 personality and color scheme. He, Smokescreen, and Bluestreak are also brothers.

Beyondverse Cliffjumper's design resembles his Prime look.

Beyondverse Arcee takes elements from her 2005 IDW, Prime, and Cyberverse counterparts, with her design resembling what she looked like in IDW's Optimus Prime series.

In my series, Cliffjumper and Arcee are conjunx endura, based on their partnership in Transformers Prime.

Bulkhead and Wheeljack are former Wreckers like their Aligned counterparts.

Like in most continuities, Jetfire is a former Decepticon who defects to the Autobots.

Beyondverse Jetfire is larger than the other Autobots like Skyfire in the original cartoon, almost going up to the knees of combiners like Devastator and Superion.

Overload is based off of his original G1 personality, but he's not a Micromaster in this and has aspects from Armada Overload (who was called Ultra Magnus in Japan). Beyondverse Overload's design is heavily based off of Autobot Academy's depiction of the character, only without the flame powers.

Afterburn is based off of an one-off character who appeared in the Transformers Animated UK-exclusive comics, who was a mindless drone created by Megatron to infiltrate the Autobots only to get killed by his creator after failing his mission. In the Beyondverse, Afterburn is his own bot and a loyal Autobot. His personality as a brash and young soldier is heavily based on Create-A-Bot (Autobot) from the Nintendo DS video game Transformers Autobots/Decepticons, along with small aspects of Speedor, an OC from KrytenMarkGen-0's Transformers: Burning Fury.

Afterburn's crush and Ratchet's assistant nurse Patch-Up is my own OC, inspired by a combination of elements from Female Red Alert from Transformers Animated, Deanna Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Shizuka Marikawa from Highschool of the Dead, and most notably Medjet, another OC from Burning Fury.

The designs for Beyondverse Sideswipe and Sunstreaker is a combination of their original G1 counterparts and Movie Sideswipe. Sunstreaker is also genderbent female like her Animated counterpart.

Sunstreaker has a really low opinion on humans and their attributes. Just part of her egotistical and arrogant personality or a very small factor that will used to foreshadow her betraying her fellow Autobots and the Earth to the Decepticons like what happened in IDW's All Hail Megatron? YOU MAKE THE CALL!

Road Hauler, or Hauler as he's well known for, was a Grapple lookalike who appeared in More Than Meets Than The Eye Part 1 and was never mentioned or appeared in the rest of the original cartoon. An E-HOBBY exclusive explained that Hauler was a former Constructicon who joined the Autobots and that the reason why he wasn't seen much in the show was because he was sent by Optimus Prime to find new resources on Earth.

The Primal Vanguard is a group of Cybertronian peacekeepers who were active during Nova Prime's reign of Cybertron, originating from the original IDW G1 comics. Hound's 2005 IDW counterpart was a member of that organization.

Mirage's electro-disrupter can allow him to create illusions like in his original character profile written by Budiansky, but it can also be used as a cloaking device like in the G1 cartoon and the Dark of The Moon video game.

Beyondverse Bluestreak's design will closely resemble his Earthrise toy.

Trailbreaker and Windcharger are Outliers (Cybertronians with superhuman abilities unrelated to their alt-modes) like their IDW counterparts.

Beyondverse Trailbreaker will closely resemble his new form as Trailcutter.

The designs for Brawn and Gears is a combination of their G1 and Movie looks, while Huffer resembles his Combiner Wars toy and Windcharger looks like his 2010 Transformers Scout Class toy.

For those who don't know who the Omnibots are, they were mail-away exclusives during the first year of the original toyline under the "Reinforcements of Cybertron" subline. They haven't gotten much attention nowadays, only having brief spotlights in the Japanese G1 continuity as dimension-hoppers and having brief cameos in Dreamwave and IDW G1 stories.

The Powerdashers are also mail-away exclusives in the original toyline like the Omnibots and they had brief cameos in the Dreamwave and IDW comics lately. Diakron, the American release of Diaclone and a precursor to Transformers alongside Kronoform, would unofficially name the Powerdashers: Cromar (Jet Powerdasher), Zetar (Drill Tank Powerdasher), and Aragon (F-1 Powerdasher).

Autotroopers are the footsoldiers of the Autobot Army, originally first appearing as man-made Transformer drones created by the Earth Defense Command in the aforementioned Japanese series we shall not name. The Autotroopers would be brought to the US in Transformers Animated, regularly appearing as rank-and-file soldiers of the Autobot Elite Guard.

Teletraan I has a humanoid body similar to his daughter program T-AI from Car Robots/RID 2001 to aid the Autobots and their human allies in tasks aboard the Ark.

The Ark's robot mode and its likeness to the Last Autobot from the Marvel Transformers comic book is based off the Ark's War for Cybertron: Kingdom toy.

A.U.N.T.I.E. is mentioned in the original Marvel comic and appeared in the UK-exclusive stories as the Ark's onboard computer, predating Teletraan I. Her personality is based off of Lady Une from Gundam Wing.

Teletraan X (not be confused with the Shattered Glass version of Teletraan I with the same name) is based off of the Cyberverse character.

Teletraan I, A.U.N.T.I.E., Teletraan X, and T-AI in the Beyondverse will have their own family dynamic, nicknamed "The Teletraan Family" by the human allies of Team Prime.
