The evening had been beautiful, truly. The soft glow of lanterns hung from the trees, twinkling against the deepening evening sky. Flowers were woven into the decorations, delicate petals catching the last rays of sunlight as the celebration unfolded around them. There was a warm breeze, just enough to keep the night comfortable, and laughter carried on the air along with the steady hum of music. It was a perfect summer wedding.

Draco and Ginny moved together on the dance floor, the world around them quieting as they spun to the rhythm of the song. His hand rested firmly on her waist, hers comfortably on his shoulder as they swayed in time with the gentle beat. Her dress was simple but elegant, flowing softly around her as she moved, and her hair was braided in a crown, adorned with delicate sprigs of baby's breath. Draco thought she had never looked more beautiful. His gaze caught on the earrings she wore - delicate gold, on loan from his mother - and something warm settled in his chest. He couldn't take his eyes off her - everything else, everyone else, faded away. For a moment, it felt like it was only them on the crowded dance floor.

"Your brother looks really happy," Draco said, his voice light but genuine. He followed Ginny's gaze across the room, where Percy was deep in conversation with his bride, Audrey, her hand resting affectionately on his arm.

Ginny's eyes sparkled as she watched them. Percy's serious face was softer than usual, and Audrey's laugh echoed faintly over the music. "He is. I think Percy's my new favorite."

Draco raised an eyebrow, amused. "Your new favorite? He hasn't exactly been the life of the party before."

Ginny smirked. "Well, after the bridesmaid dress Bill made me wear at his wedding, Percy's definitely moved up the ranks. This one's much nicer."

Draco chuckled, pulling her a bit closer. "I'm glad your standards have been met, then. I'd hate for Percy to slip back down the list."

Ginny shook her head, her smile widening as she rested her head on his chest for a moment, enjoying the quiet. "He's safe for now."

They danced, comfortable in the moment, enjoying the song without needing to speak. The breeze stirred again, ruffling Draco's hair as he glanced down at her. With a grin, he spun her out gently and dipped her low, causing Ginny to let out a surprised laugh, her hair cascading over her shoulder as he held her there.

"Careful, Malfoy," came a voice from the side. "You're making the rest of us look bad."

Draco straightened her up, turning to find one of the twins - Fred or George, it was hard to tell from this angle - grinning broadly at them.

Ginny rolled her eyes playfully. "What, afraid of a little competition?"

Fred, or George, winked. "Just saying, if you keep up the fancy moves, you might put the rest of us out of business."

"Maybe that's the plan," Draco quipped, smirking as he held Ginny close again.

ed down, his lips brushing near Ginny's ear as he asked, "Which one was that again?"

Ginny bit back a laugh, looking up at him with a glint in her eyes. "That was Fred. Or George. Honestly, sometimes even Mum can't tell."

Draco raised an eyebrow. "I'm not sure if that's comforting or concerning."

"Little of both," Ginny quipped, her hand sliding up to rest on his shoulder again as they resumed their dance. "You'll figure it out eventually."

"Or I'll just keep pretending I know," Draco said with a smirk, spinning her lightly once more.

Ginny laughed, shaking her head as they fell back into step. "You're terrible."

Draco grinned. "And yet you're still dancing with me."

Ginny leaned in closer, smiling. "That's because you're not *entirely* terrible."

She leaned back slightly, looking up at Draco with a smile. "You know, you did joke once about dancing at one of my brother's weddings."

Draco smirked. "I did, didn't I? Though I didn't think it would be Percy's."

Ginny laughed softly. "Neither did I. It's kind of crazy how quick they got married."

Draco nodded, his expression deadpan. "She's definitely pregnant."

Ginny blinked, pulling back just enough to look up at him, her face incredulous. "What!? No. Surely not. It's Percy."

Draco gave her a pointed look, raising an eyebrow. "Gin, they threw this wedding together in four weeks. They haven't even been together a year."

"Okay, but...it's Percy," Ginny insisted, squinting now at Audrey, her voice full of disbelief. "He's not exactly the impulsive type."

Draco smirked, clearly enjoying himself. "Your mum thinks so too, by the way."

Ginny stared at him. "Really? You talked with my mum about this?"

He shrugged nonchalantly. "She was gossiping with me before the ceremony. Apparently, Percy's been acting all 'fidgety' and 'nervous' for weeks now. She's convinced they didn't want to wait."

Ginny groaned, half-amused, half-disbelieving. "Mum is the worst. And she's got you roped into her conspiracy theories now?"

Draco grinned, leaning in a little closer. "What can I say? She's got a knack for it. I think she's onto something."

Ginny shook her head, laughing softly as they resumed their easy sway. "Well, if that's true, we'll know soon enough. But for now, I'm choosing to believe Percy is just overly punctual."

Draco snorted, pulling her a bit closer. "Sure, Gin. Whatever helps you sleep at night."

As they swayed to the music, perfectly comfortable in each other's presence, Ginny glanced around at the familiar faces of her family, many of whom had been hesitant at first about their relationship. Yet here they were, dancing together at a family wedding. There had been doubts, moments where the world's expectations weighed on them - but in the end, they had pushed through it together.

Ron, standing off to the side near the bar with a drink in hand, was chatting animatedly with Harry and Hermione. He had been keeping a watchful eye on the dance floor all night, stealing glances at Ginny and Draco as they danced, a mix of amusement and resignation on his face. Every now and then, he'd shake his head with a mock grimace whenever they got too close or Draco dipped her too low, as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"Blimey," Ron muttered to Harry, as he caught another glimpse of the couple. "Never thought I'd live to see the day when that became normal."

Harry chuckled, taking a sip of his own drink. "You're not still mad about it, are you?"

Ron shrugged, grinning slightly. "Nah. Well, not as much. Just...weird, isn't it? But I suppose if they're happy, I'll live."

Hermione smiled, giving Ron a knowing look. "You'll get used to it. You've managed so far."

Ron snorted. "Barely."

Hermione chuckled and added, "Well, at least Draco's proven he's not the git we all thought he was. Mostly."

Ron made a face but couldn't help the grin tugging at his lips. "Mostly. Still, doesn't mean I want to see them snogging."

Hermione rolled her eyes. "You're such a big brother."

Ron sighed, watching them dance. "To everyone else, I'm the little brother, but with Ginny, I'm the big one. She's the only one I get to look out for, so...yeah, it matters."

Hermione smiled gently. "And you're doing just fine, Ron."

Draco and Ginny danced in silence for a few more moments, content in the rhythm of the music, in the warmth of each other's presence. Then Draco leaned in, his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered, "So...about our own wedding…"

Ginny pulled back slightly, raising an eyebrow as she gave him an incredulous look. "Draco. I am nineteen."

Draco chuckled, his smirk widening as he shrugged. "Fine. I'll wait."

Ginny rolled her eyes, laughing softly as she shook her head. "You're ridiculous."

"And yet, here you are," Draco quipped, dipping her again with exaggerated flair, causing her to laugh.

They came back up smoothly, falling back into an easy rhythm as the music continued around them. There was no rush, no pressure - just them, dancing under the soft glow of lanterns, teasing each other like they always did.

As the evening wore on, the hum of conversation and laughter filled the air, the wedding celebration in full swing. The soft glow of the lanterns hanging from the trees provided a warm backdrop as the guests continued to enjoy the music, food, and dancing.

Suddenly, the music slowed, and the bride and groom, Percy and Audrey, made their way to the center of the dance floor. Percy cleared his throat, raising a hand to get everyone's attention.

"Everyone, if I could have your attention for just a moment," Percy began, his voice carrying across the crowd.

The chatter died down, and all eyes turned to the couple, curiosity buzzing through the guests. Ginny stood next to Draco, still holding his hand from their dance. She glanced up at him, raising an eyebrow as if to say, What now?

Draco bit his bottom lip, his eyes sparkling with amusement as he shot her a knowing look. He leaned in, voice low, teasing. "Bet you five galleons I know what they're about to say."

Ginny squinted at him, already sensing where this was going. "You can't be serious."

Percy cleared his throat again, glancing at Audrey with a beaming smile. "We, um...we wanted to share something with all of you tonight."

Audrey, glowing with happiness, rested a hand on her stomach. "We're expecting!"

A collective gasp rose from the crowd, followed by applause and cheers. Molly was already dabbing her eyes with a tissue, and Ginny turned to Draco, her mouth slightly open in disbelief.

Draco grinned, looking far too pleased with himself. "Told you."

Ginny nudged him with her elbow, laughing despite herself. "Okay, fine. You were right. But Merlin, Percy? I never would have guessed…"

Draco smirked, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her close. "Always feels good to be right."

Ginny shook her head, still grinning. "I guess Mum's gossip was on point."

"Clearly," Draco chuckled. "And now you owe me five galleons."

Ginny rolled her eyes but couldn't stop smiling as the applause died down and Percy and Audrey shared a sweet kiss. Ginny looked up at Draco, still amused by his smug expression. "You're insufferable, you know that?"

Draco smirked, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "And yet, here you are."

Ginny laughed, leaning into him as the night carried on, the excitement of Percy and Audrey's announcement adding an extra layer of joy to the already perfect evening.

"Yeah, here I am."
