"Awh…that's so cute…" Cynthia clasped her hands together, comical hearts flowing from her person as she watched Chelia and Raven have their moment. If they were paying attention to anything else aside from the other, they would've told Cynthia to shush, but nope; the entire world around them was blocked out.

"I don't think they can even hear you…" Wendy said while tilting her head at the scene.

"I don't think they're paying attention to anything…" Carla said with a sweat drop.

"Well, that's over…" Takeru turned. "Now, onto the next order of business…" He was about to continue, but he stopped midsentence, eyes narrowing as he glanced immediately at the sky.

"What's wrong, Tak…?" Selene blinked, looking into the sky as well. "Do you sense something…?"

"I wonder…" Aira began.

"….MOVE!" Takeru exclaimed, but it was useless. Something landed powerfully on the ground, creating a crater and caused a shockwave that blew everyone anyway from the impact. "Guh…"

As the dust cleared, Arcturus stood tall at a full 7 feet, a pleased grin on his lips. "…That was fun."

"W-Who are you…?" Cynthia asked while standing up.

"Oh?" Arcturus turned to Cynthia, his grin widening. He then turned to Takeru, the bandages on his face hid his eyes, but not the hungry look on his face. "How nice, Takeru…you've brought me a few virgins, too…"

"Arcturus…" Takeru growled at the appearance of the darkness demon.

"But…you aren't on my agenda right now…" Arcturus then turned to Chelia and Raven. "My focus is on you, Black Wind. We can't have you turning tail on us again."

Raven stood protectively in front of Chelia despite his injury, glaring towards the demon despite the overwhelming power he could feel from it. "You're not taking her anywhere…"

"R-Raven…" Chelia gulped; she was well aware of Arcturus' power and was worried for her friends.

"Stepping up to a demon, kid?" Arcturus asked with an evil grin. "I'll make sure to commemorate this with your head hinged from your shoulders." With no warning Arcturus opened his mouth, sending a Darkness Demon's Screech towards Raven, the funnel of darkness travelling at a breakneck pace towards the male.

"Shadow Dragon's Roar!" Takeru was just as quick on the draw, unleashing a funnel of shadows to clash with the Darkness Demon's Screech. The collision immediately resulted in an explosion. "GO! I'm going to take care of this…" As he spoke, he formed a shadow katana in his hands.

"I'm not going anywhere, Tak," Selene spoke with a stern tone, staring directly at Takeru. After the brief stare down, Selene turned to the others. "Get out of here, we can handle this."

"But, Selene…" Aira started.

"GO!" Selene ordered.

"R-Right…come on, this area is safe…" Raven lifted Chelia up, supporting her as they went to go hide.

"No need to tell us twice…" Carla nodded to Selene.

"This way…" Wendy pointed down an alleyway. "I smell something."

"Let's go…!" Cynthia nodded, though Wendy was the one to drag her off while Carla followed. Aira just nodded slowly and went to go hide somewhere; she didn't want to get in the way, but she stayed somewhat close to the area in case her help was needed.

"Good, they're gone…" Selene let out a silent sigh while staring into the smoke cloud. Before they could relax, Arcturus rushed from the smoke, aiming a darkness infused haymaker towards Takeru. It was a direct hit, throwing Takeru backwards because he could react. Arc then turned to Selene, following up with a roundhouse to her diamond coated skull. She brought up her forearm, just narrowly blocking the hit, though she winced. She could still feel his power from the diamonds. It was her turn to attack; she brought her diamond infused fist forward, landing a direct hit on Arc's cheek, causing him to stagger a step back.

Takeru then moved in, drawing his arm back as shadows engulfed it. He followed up with his Shadow Dragon's Slash, which was also a direct hit. Arc growled and staggered back once again. "We're actually doing damage…let's keep it up."

"That's the easy part…" Arc said while regaining his posture. He then began to slowly unwrap the bandages from his eyes. "The hard part…is actually putting me down. You'd know all about wouldn't you, Takeru…?"

"Shit…!" Takeru's eyes widened as Arc began to undo his bandages. He stabbed his katana into the ground, and with no warning he once again fired a Shadow Dragon's Roar towards Arc to cut him off. Selene followed suit, placing her hands on the ground to create diamonds that would wrap around Arc's legs to restrain him.

"Heh…" It was too late; though he was already trapped by Selene's diamonds; his bandages were already off, revealing his yellow eyes. It took him a second to adjust, but he noticed the roar coming his way, and activated one of his many eye magics. "Empty Eye…" With a yellow pulse, all magic in play, including his own, became nullified. The diamonds and the roar dispersed into nothing. "It's much more enjoyable to see the look of despair than envision it…" Arc spoke with a twisted grin before unleashing another Darkness Demon's screech towards the duo, only this one was much stronger than the one he sent towards Raven earlier.

"Damn….!" Takeru's shadow drive allowed the screech to pass right through him, though it did 'poison' him, yet he was unaware of this.

"Agh…!" Selene rolled out of the way, eyes wide at the ground after the attack; it was just dirt now. Arc then moved in quickly, aiming a plethora of swift strikes at the Eclipse mages. Selene and Takeru managed to evade some of this blows, but the rest landed clean, sending them sliding across the dirt.

"Hmph…" Arc then walked over to the shadow kantana was and pulled it from the ground, infusing it with darkness before hurling it at Takeru.

"Ugh…" Takeru groaned, standing up and shaking his head. Then, he noticed his blade flying right past him; the next thing he knew, he was without an arm, his left one to be precise. It only took a second for everything to register before the color drained from his face and he fell to his side, nearly vomiting from the loss of the limb.

"Tak!" Selene rushed over to Takeru's eyes, nearly vomiting herself from the sight. With Arc steadily approaching, things didn't look good for the two of them. Selene stood up and stood protectively in front of Takeru. Her diamond scales receded, and a dark shadowy aura appeared around her body, entering Diamond Shadow Mode. "…You won't lay another hand on him. You're fighting me now."

Jellal slid back across the ground, not showing any signs of exhaustion against Racer and Midnight, though it was clear they weren't even close to being finished with him yet either. Despite this, Jellal still did his best to get through to them. "You must listen to me! We can settle this later, but we must go after Zeref!"

"We're not finished with you yet, Jellal…" Midnight swiped his hand bac, in preparation for an attack, but before he could finish Jellal already appeared before him, slamming his magic coated fist into Midnight's face. Midnight flew back from the power within the blow, a bruise clearly visible on his face as the purple color clashed with the makeup he wore. "You…" Midnight growled, hand clenching into a fist, picking up dirt in his palm.

"We'll ground you into the dirt!" Racer exclaimed while speeding towards Jellal at blinding speed, preparing to use his momentum to crush Jellal's face with his fist. To his surprise, Jellal saw this coming and shifted his body to the side, evading the hit entirely. "What…!?"

Before Racer's momentum could carry him off, Jellal grabbed the back of Racer's skull and drove him into the ground a few feet before release. "Your speed won't beat mine, Sawyer…" Jellal spoke while leaping back, noticing Midnight coming in behind him with orbs of Darkness Magic around his fist. The two entered fierce close combat, though Jellal quickly gained the upperhand and aimed a spin kick towards Midnight's skull, sending the reflector mage spiraling to the ground. "And you won't beat me like that, Macbeth…"

Angel still watched the ongoing fight, her fist clenched in an anger that she couldn't explain. "I don't understand…this anger…where is it coming from…?"

"You still don't remember?" Brain asked while standing next to Angel, a small grin forming on his lips. Hoteye watched the male carefully from a distance; he had no trust for their 'leader'. "Long ago…when you were a child; the man you see before you trapped you in a tower and forced you to do work to revive the 'Great Zeref'. You were taken and separated from your sister, and it was thanks to MY help that you were able to escape, along with the others. You should be grateful, Angel."

Angel took in each and every word Brain told her, her fist shaking. "My…sister…" She had a flash back to the Council Ball and her brief encounter with Yukino. It all slowly began to come back to her, and her eyes widened. "Jellal…..JELLAL!" Her shriek caught the attention of those fighting, and the onlookers who Jellal told not to interfere. "Y-You…!" She couldn't for the words; the anger was far too much. She threw her head forward, commanding her angels to attack. A horde of small angels flew forward, surrounding Jellal, causing him to stagger around.

"So she remembers…" A subtle grin crossed Midnight's face at Angel's sudden attack at Jellal. He then swiped his arm, creating a spiral of distortion blades around Jellal to further damage him.

"Excellent…it's all falling into place…." Brain chuckled while pointing his hand forward, unleashing a beam of darkness magic to go along with Angel and Midnight's attacks.

"Jellal…!" Doranbolt's eyes widened from the onslaught of attacks that trapped Jellal in the middle.

"Tristan." Kagura narrowed her eyes towards the steel make mage. There was no way she was going to let Jellal die by someone's hands other than her own.

"Now hold on…" Hikaru said while holding her arm out. "You heard him…he said that he did not want us to interfere. You can wait to exact your revenge on him."

Seconds passed before Jellal spread his arms out, completely pushing everything away from him. This left everyone wide eyed, and only a slight pant of fatigue came from the heavenly mage now. "I see you remember, Sorano…" Was the only thing Jellal had to say after.

"N-No way…" Angel stared in disbelief.

"Now I'm starting to get angry with this man…" Midnight said while gritting his teeth. Everything they were throwing at Jellal was just getting bounced back with ease.

"Now, now, Jellal…" Brain said while taking a few steps forward. "You must end this little farce. There's no point to it…" He pointed his hand forward again, an accumulation of dark magic forming on his palm.

"You don't understand the gravity of this situation…" Jellal said while pointing his hand forward, a golden magic seal appearing in front of him as he glared at Brain. His eyes widened briefly before switching targets, aiming at Angel and unleashed multiple heavenly arrows in her direction.

"You bastard…!" Angel exclaimed while crossing her arms to protect herself from the Heavenly Arrows sent, but she soon found that they weren't aimed at her. They flew past her, causing her to turn around, eyes wide to see that a demon was preparing to strike her down from behind. "…!" The demon collapsed from the blow, lifeless as it hit the ground. Shortly after that, more demons began to round the corner, slowly starting to surround them. "W-What the…!?"

"D-Demons…they've found us…" Doranbolt tsked. "I wasn't expecting them to let us go so easily, but still…"

"Do you now see the situation we're in?" Jellal questioned the members of the Oracion Seis, though the only one who didn't seem to be paying attention and was sneaking off was Brain. But no one seemed to notice.

"Tch…" Midnight turned, facing the demons with a scowl. "So…This is why you brought us here, I presume…?"

"Exactly…" Jellal nodded.

A demon lunged at Kagura while Tristan was in the midst of finishing her sword. She could still use her gravity to pin it and those that followed down, before pushing them away. "Do not assumed me harmless because I am unarmed." And as she said that, there was a demon on top of her, about to slash. But just before it could, Daryan appeared and knocked it aside. "...!"

"Whew...!" Daryan said with a heavy exhale. That was too close. "Are you okay, Kagura-chan!? I got to repay you from saving me before!" He felt really proud of that.

"You..." Kagura stared at Daryan, before turning to Tristan. Kagura took her repaired sword from Tristan, giving it a few practice swings before nodded. "You have my gratitude."

"Wait, what about me...!?" Daryan gasped as Kagura ignored him and ran past him. Was he really just chopped liver!?

"Not a problem, Kagura-san," Tristan gave a nod before slamming his palms together. "Steel Make: Sword and Shield!" A silver magic seal appeared before the Black Phoenix Ace, creating steel sword and shield in his hands.

"Are we fighting here?" Hikaru asked.

"No, I think they are more than capable of handling the demons around here," Tristan began. "However, I do think there are some we can deal with elsewhere." After the brief consensus, Hikaru, Kagura, and Tristan went elsewhere to allow the Oracion Seis to deal with the demons in this area.

"Lahar, what should we do?" Doranbolt asked.

"I think we should get moving too…we know how they can get." Lahar and Doranbolt nodded to each other before briskly leaving the area.

"I trust you all can handle this…" Jellal spoke while beginning to walk off in a different direction.

"And just where the hell are you going, Jellal…?" Racer shouted.

"I believe I told you before. Zeref is the cause of this, and it's our job to defeat him. I'm going to do just that, and I expect you all to follow right after me once you're done here. We can settle our little dispute later." After speaking, Jellal vanished behind a corner with the help of Meteor.

"Where does he get off, trying to order us around…?" Angel sucked her teeth while letting out an aggravated growl.

"Hmph...another day, then." Brain attempted to sneak away in the chaos, but before he could, Cobra's hand pierced right through him. "Gnk...!?"

"I heard what you were thinking. You were going to abandon us and leave us for dead. Those came after your thoughts of betraying us in the middle of a fight." Cobra said with a sneer. The others watched on in shock, as Brain's lifeless body dropped to the ground.

On the outskirts of the city, Adamantine and Gaia stood face to face with Tartaros' own dragon; Mithril. The orange haired male stared at the other two dragons with a smirk, arms crossed as his gaze directed towards Gaia first. "I remember you. You're that weak dragon that could hardly hold her own against myself and Dait."

"That was back then," Gaia replied with a glare. "This is now. And I'll have you know, I've gotten a few more tricks up my sleeve since then, Lightning Dragon."

"We never finished our fight from last time, Mithril," Adam said with a cold stare to his brother. "I don't plan on letting anything interrupt us this time. Only one side is going to win…" He then glanced at Gaia. "Earth Dragon. This is my fight." That was the pride of a dragon speaking; he wanted to face his brother one on one, to finally settle things.

Gaia understood, so she took a few steps back. "If it looks rough, I'm stepping in," She whispered so that only Adam could hear her.

"There won't be a need for that," Adam replied with a shake of his head. He then stared at Mithril, two magic seals appearing above them. The ground began to quiver before trembling violently; the two males' shape began to change, eyes shifting to something reptilian; scales appearing all along their bodies. It wasn't long before their transformation was complete, and two dragons stood tall just outside the city.

"Oi, oi…" Gaia said while rubbing the back of her head, staring at the two dragons before her. "I feel really small…"

"Juvia hopes Blues-san and Kuro-san are alright…" Juvia muttered as she and Meredy made way away from the scene of the two water slayers vs. Zancrow.

"They'll be fine, Juvia, don't worry!" Meredy flashed Juvia a reassuring smile. In the next second, she found herself leaping to the side, avoiding an all too familiar black sword that crushed the ground where she was standing. "…!"

"What…?" Juvia eyes widened at the sudden attack. She turned her head, spotting an unfamiliar figure standing a few feet away from them.

Rustyrose retracted his arm, allowing it to change to normal. He pushed his glasses up, staring at Meredy more than he was Juvia. "Well, well…if it isn't the traitor herself. Fancy seeing you here, Meredy. It's been too long."

"R-Rusty…" Meredy silently gulped; today was certainly one of the worst days in her life. Meeting with her former comrades in this apocalyptic situation one after the other; this just wasn't her day.

"I must say, I'm not the biggest fan of how you turned out; siding with that criminal in attempt We still haven't forgotten what you and Ultear tried to do that day," Rustyrose spoke with a menacing grin. "It resulted in some rather nasty accidents shortly afterwards…but now your traitorous actions have played a big role in today's events. So, in that sense, I suppose you could be forgiven…but at the same time…"

"We don't have time for your games, Rusty…" Meredy responded with a scowl.

"Get out of our way," Juvia stood next to Meredy.

"Oh, I'm afraid I can't do that…Zeref is finally starting the purge…where the one world of magic will reign supreme…" Rustyrose's grin slowly began to turn twisted. "I won't let Zeref waste his efforts on the likes of you two…so instead, I'll deal with you myself…"

"You're still on about that…?" A sweat drop appeared on Meredy's forehead. She'd forgotten how twisted the Seven Kin really were at times. She then shook her head, staring defiantly towards the imaginary mage. "We'll stop both you and your twisted ideals…"

"Hai," Juvia nodded, a blue aura appearing around her body. "The day will not be won by the likes of you."

"E-Em…" Sherry blinked a few times, a nervous sweat drop appearing on the side of her head from Kain's advances towards herself and Jenny.

"I understand, I know it must be unbelievable for someone as handsome as myself to ask someone like you to be my girlfriend," Kain said with a stern nod.

"We're clearly on different pages when it comes to the reason this is so shocking…" Jenny grumbled.

"My, how rude…" Ren said while running a hand through his hair. "Not that I'm jealous or annoyed by this…but that is MY fiancée…" his usual tsundere attitude began to show at the Seven Kin's advances.

"He's not even paying attention to us…" Eve said with a sigh.

"These kinds of people are usually hopeless romantics…" Hibiki said with a sigh. "He wouldn't know true handsomeness if it struck him in the face…"

"Agreed!" Eve and Ren nodded in unison.

"MEN!" Ichiya gathered the Trimens. "This is unacceptable. He is sullying the good word of handsomeness that we've worked so hard on building up!"

"EXCUSE YOU!?" Kain heard this insult and turned from the ladies immediately, glaring at Ichiya. "How dare you?! I'll have you know I'm the handsomest of the Seven Kin!"

"Uh-huh…" Hibiki said while using his Archive magic to look up the Seven Kin of Purgatory. "Considering what I'm looking up right now…I find that to be highly illogical…"

"Enough! I won't sit here and be bullied like this!" Comical tears began to flow from Kain's eyes as he pulled out Mr. Cursey, placing his own hair in the doll. "Shining Sumo Palm!" The doll began to glow a bright light, Kain's body mimicking the actions of the doll; the large male then thrusts his palm forward, unleashing a bright light that struck the males of Blue Pegasus, sending them flying back.

"Ah…!" Sherry covered her mouth in surprise from the strength of the attack.

"I wasn't expecting him to have that kind of power…" Jenny admitted.

"You need a big, strong man to protect you after all! Not a bunch of toothpicks!" Kain said with a wide smile.

"How unhandsome…" Ren grumbled before spinning his arms around, unleashing a powerful cyclone of wind towards Kain. "Aerial Phose!"

"And"! Eve stuck his arm out, unleashing a powerful blizzard to go along with the Aerial Phose. "White Fury!"

"Steel body!" And with that, Kain's body became that of steel, his defenses skyrocketing; the combined attacks merely bounced off him. "Ha!"

"Men!" Ichiya pulled out two vials, opening them up and plugged them into his nose. "Let's see how you handle the magnificent scent of my speed enhancing parfarm!" The short male then began a speedy sprint towards Kain. "MEEEEEEEEEN!" And before Ichiya could get too far Kain just slammed a palm over his head, crushing Ichiya into the ground.

"Ichiya-senpai…!"

"Is that the best you can do? My…how…'unhandsome'." Kain spoke in a mocking tone, though this caused the eyes of Blue Pegasus' mages to widen. A line had been crossed.

"D-Did you just call Ichiya-senpai…unhandsome…?" Hibiki attempted to fathom how such a thing could even be possible. To him and everyone else in Blue Pegasus, it just wasn't.

"Yeah! And what of it!?" Kain questioned. It was then that he felt the ground tremble. "W-What the…?"

"How dare you…" Ichiya spoke as a red aura appeared around his body. His small body began to grow in size, muscles bulking up. His hair began unkempt, and his shirt ripped off from the sudden increase in muscle mass. "Insult…handsomeness…" His strength enhancing parfarm took full effect, and he was now towering over Kain, who was actually intimidated. "YOU UNHANDSOME SWINE!? MEEEEEEEEN!" With one swift uppercut, it was all over. Ichiya sent Kain flying into the sky above, a twinkle appearing in the distance.

"Ugh…" Kiora sat on top of Ourobouros, filing her nails with disinterest to the Raijinshu below her. She eventually looked down and let out an exasperated sigh. "Oh, I get the joy of dealing with you all…"

"You're in the presence of greatness and beauty that far surpasses that of Erza Scarlet's," Evergreen said while fanning herself, inflating her own ego as usual.

"I guess it's safe to assume that she's someone in charge around here…" Freed said while drawing his sword.

"Hyahaha!" Bickslow let out his signature laugh, his 'babies' mimicking him. "I remember this one, don'tcha, Laxus?"

"Of course I do…" Laxus said while cracking his knuckles, lightning beginning to spark around his body.

"Hm…? I think I'd remember dealing with an annoying lot like you all," Kiora said while half paying attention to the group of wizards.

"Is that so…?" Laxus spoke with a scowl forming on his features, the lightning around his body growing more intense. "There was a time when it was a little girl's birthday…she was celebrating it with her family and her best friend…Then her best friend was kidnapped. The worst happened, scarring that girl deeply." Laxus clenched his fist, a sphere of lightning appearing on his hand. "She won't admit it, but she was broken. All because those people barged into the guild…you were one of them. But that's fine if you don't remember…" The expression on Laxus' face couldn't be more serious. "I'll help you remember."

"Iron Fist of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu exclaimed while igniting his dominate arm in flames, rushing towards Rugal. When close, he swung, but it was a miss as the male leapt back a few feet. "Stop movin!"

"I'm afraid you're going to have to do much better than that, gecko!" Rugal exclaimed while pulling out his sword, twirling it around a few times before slashing the air, unleashing a few blades of wind towards Natsu.

"Tch!" Natsu grit his teeth in annoyance before rushing forward, nimbly evading the blades of wind that threated to cut off his limps. He performed a front flip, and once he landed on his hands his feet flared up once again. "Talons!" He flipped once again, now aiming a flaming axe kick towards Rugal's head. That was a direct hit, and the blow sent Rugal staggering back a few steps. Once landing, Natsu followed up by lunging head first with flames around his body, slamming right into Rugal's chest, now sending the opposing male flying back. "Get outta my way!" Natsu roared upon landing.

Rugal flipped, catching himself with a slight cough from the harsh blow. "Hmph…it'll take more than to put me down, Salamander. I'm just getting started."

"That's fine with me, I haven't even started yet!" Natsu spoke as his cheeks puffed out. "Fire Dragon's ROAR!" He then threw his head forward, unleashing a large funnel of flames in Rugal's direction.

"Hmph…" Rugal waved his hand, creating a portal before him. The portal swallowed up the roar, leaving Natsu confused.

"Wha…" Another portal appeared in front of Natsu, unleashing the very same roar he sent at him. He crossed his arms on instinct, though it was only the brute force of the roar that really had any effect on him. He uncrossed his arms once the roar was over, but as soon as he did Rugal landed a powerful strike to his midsection, pushing him back into another portal, which closed quickly after. "Ugh…" Natsu stood up and looked around, realizing he was in a dimension different than reality. "The hell is this…!?"

"This is my domain…" Rugal explained while appearing in the dimension. Suddenly, Rugal's muscles began to bulk up, causing him to grow in size and stature. Natsu could sense the power boost coming from Rugal, and it was growing every passing second they remained in there. "You won't be able to defeat me here."

"Are you sure about that?" Natsu said with a grin, pounding his flaming fists together to create sparks. "You'd do best not to underestimate a Fairy Tail wizard…"

"GAAAAH!" Yukino, Loke, and Romeo all flew back due to a tendril's powerful strike, sending them rolling across the ground. Another tendril had Lucy in its grip, a purple-ish/black aura appearing around the girl who was letting out a pained shriek. The one who bore these tendrils was a creature that resembled an amphibious creature with a rock over its head. It was a specially crafted demon made by Zeref that could also communicate.

"I appreciate you handing my meal over to me! Though, it was a little annoying having to chase you through the city to get it…" The Seafall Phantom, spoke to the downed wizards. "My Stigma curse affects the victim the closer I am to them, draining their life quickly…but with all your movement I've hardly gotten anything from this meal…"

"L-Let Lucy-nee go!" Romeo growled while pulling his arm back, creating a yellow flame; he then threw it forward with all his might, allowing the noxious scent the ember left to fill the space around the Seafall Phantom, though there was no effect. "W-What…!?"

"I can't smell anything, foolish human!" Seafall exclaimed, while Lucy was just letting out strangled cries of pain.

"L-Lucy-sama…!" Yukino stood up, holding her arm in pain.

"Damn it…" Loke grunted before allowing his Regulas light to appear around his fists yet again. He then made a charge, but a tendril caught him off guard from his blind spot and slammed him into the ground. "D-….Ugh…I'm sorry, Lucy…" With that, he had no choice but to return to the Spirit World.

"L-Loke-sama…!" Yukino gasped at Loke's defeat, though it was understandable since he was the one fighting off most of the demons around Lucy and Yukino until Romeo arrived, but even then he was still doing most of the work.

"This isn't looking good…" Romeo clenched his fists, feeling rather powerless. He couldn't do anything and everything he could do wasn't working. "Lucy-nee, hang on…!"

"It's useless!" Seafall exclaimed. "I'll devour her once her life energy is gone! Then, I'll work on you humans next! This will save Lord Zeref some time and effort in the long run. You should be thanking me; anyone else would play with their food before eating it."

"H-Help…" Was the only thing Lucy could manage to cry out.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" From nowhere, a powerful gust of wind managed to catch the demon off guard, causing it to almost lose its footing.

"Omega Fire Dragon's…Roaring Impact!" Cynthia then charged in with a flaming shoulder tackle, completely knocking the oversized demon off its feet, releasing Lucy in the process, though it was a bit higher than anyone expected. "Oh, crap…! Lucy…!"

Luckily, Lucy's landing was covered. Red hair began to wrap around the blond, pulling her to the safety of a building not too far away. Lucy blinked a few times, feeling the stress of the stigma on her back lessen and looked up. "H-huh…?" And to her surprise, she was looking dead at Flare, which caught her off guard slightly. "F-Flare…!? W-What are you doing here?!"

"Are you okay, blondie?" Flare asked, ignoring the question.

"Not really…" Lucy said with a frown. "This…mark on my back is making me feel tired…I can't do anything and the demon in charge of this thing is really strong…"

"Don't worry about that!" Cynthia said while pounding her fists together, dark red flames appearing on her arms. "Wendy and I can take of this thing, isn't that right!"

"Hai!" Wendy jumped down, landing right next to Cynthia in a battle ready position.

"You two look like you've already have quite the encounter already…" Yukino commented on the battle damage Wendy and Cynthia had from their encounter with Chelia earlier.

"You don't even know the half of it…" Carla said with a sigh.

"Don't worry about it!" Cynthia said with a wide grin.

"So, if we take this thing out, that mark goes away?" Wendy questioned.

"Yeah…" Romeo nodded. "But be careful…this demon is really, really strong…it took Loke out in one shot, and I haven't been able to do anything to it with my flames…"

"We can do this…!" Wendy nodded firmly. She felt confident with Cynthia by her side. "I ask that you release Lucy-san from that curse at once…! We're giving you one chance!"

"Who the hell dares to order me around like this?!" Seafall questioned with a look of irritated hunger. "You should know it's a bad idea to interrupt a demon when it's about to eat…"

"And you should know it's a bad idea to mess with mages of Fairy Tail!" Cynthia shot back.

Next time: Clash Part 2!
