November was cold, wet and nasty which was rather normal for that time of year in Scotland. December wasn't much better but at least the wet turned to snow which was arguably better or at least it looked better. Harry's classes had went from frighteningly easy to basically an excuse to cast spells nonverbally now that several of his teachers knew about who he really was. It was in some ways rather inconvenient but in other ways it was extremely rewarding as it gave him the chance to practice his spells in a way that increased his abilities and gave him a refresher course on some of the basic magic theory that he had skipped the first time around. That said, he wasn't sad when the holidays rolled around especially since it meant that he got to see his family for more than a stolen hour or two at a time. "I'm a little sad that we weren't able to complete the animagus transformation."
Hermione snorted as they headed toward where James and Sirius were waiting for them, "It's too dangerous." They had decided to leave practicing the transformation for next time or the time after when they didn't care if they screwed things up.
Puck said, "You need to be at least fifteen or you can do some serious damage to yourself and even that is probably pushing it."
Harry glanced at a rather disgruntled Ron as he was marched off the train by the twins and Percy so that he couldn't make another go at Harry. "I don't understand him. I'm at the top of the class for dueling, I even managed to make the seventh year helper work for it when I dueled him, what does he hope to gain by starting another fight?"
Luna said, "There no accounting for stupidity."
Harry flicked his wand at Ron and cast a minor jinx that would give him a slightly green cast for a couple of hours, just enough to get Mrs. Weasley to go into full-blown smothering mode. "I guess it could be worse."
James smiled when Harry, Hermione, Puck and Luna approached with a pair of twins that were probably Flora and Hestia Carrow. "Did you have a fun train ride?"
Harry glanced at Hermione and smiled as he remembered fucking Hermione on the train which pretty much beat every train ride the last time around. "Yes."
Puck said, "Other than Ron deciding that he wanted to barge in and call Harry names for stuff that wasn't even his fault."
James sighed, "I don't think Mrs. Weasley has ever quite forgiven my family for taking Ginny in. She doesn't really see the reality of the situation." The reality of the situation was that because of various laws Ginny couldn't simply be given back to the Weasleys even if they had wanted to and they didn't because Ginny was a part of the family and had been for years.
Sirius said, "She's rather willfully blind about a lot of things. We should probably leave before she makes a scene."
"Agreed." James might have pressed the issue about Mrs. Weasley's issues but he didn't see a point in causing problems for Ginny or most of Ginny's brothers who were allowed to visit. He pulled out a ten foot loop of rope, "Everyone grab hold."
Harry sighed, "I hate portkeys."
Hermione laughed, "You hate just about every form of magical travel other than brooms."
Harry grumbled as he grabbed the rope, "I don't mind flying with Mum's spell."
Hermione grabbed the rope as the rest of the girls grabbed their section of rope.
Sirius grabbed the rope, "Beam me up Scotty."
Harry had enough time to roll his eyes before the portkey activated and brought them back to the house in Godric's Hollow. "I'm still a bit confused why we can't just apparate form Hogsmeade or take the floo from there."
Sirius said, "Bribery and stupidity mostly but they also don't want to overtax the floo network with so many people leaving from the same place."
James said, "Either way, let's get inside and out of the snow."
Hermione asked, "How did you get a portkey authorized anyway?"
James coiled up his portkey rope as he said, "A nice bottle of Scotch to the portkey manager a couple of years ago."
Hermione sighed, "The ministry seems rather corrupt."
James shrugged, "It is corrupt."
Puck said, "We're going to have to fix that at some point."
Harry smirked as he opened the door to the house for Puck and the others, "I've got a couple of ideas on how to fix it."
Puck walked into the house and smiled as the kitchen's warmth washed over her. "This is so much better than staying at the castle."
Luna giggled as she headed into the house followed by the twins and Hermione, "Are you going to lead an army of trolls to take over the ministry?"
Harry let the door close after his father and Sirius entered the house. "I was thinking about a summer raid on the place."
Sirius said, "You should probably be aware that there is more security during the summer than there is during the holiday season."
Hermione asked, "How much more?"
"Quite a lot, during the winter holidays they are only open for a couple of hours to do 'essential' business in the morning then they lock the doors, close the floos and bring up the anti apparition and anti portkey wards."
Hermione asked, "Essential business?"
Sirius scowled, "He means the slave auctions, it's big business around Christmas. I've heard they've even started quietly raiding other countries for slaves to fill the demand."
Harry said, "That's insane. How do they expect to keep that quiet from the other counties?"
Lily said, "Some cosmetic charms and a bunch of obliviate spells. By the time the slaves have gone through the process there usually isn't much left other than skills. A couple of language candies and there isn't much evidence where they came from."
Puck scowled, "That's just plan evil."
James said, "That's the ministry we know and hate."
Puck sighed, "How many guards are at the auction?"
Sirius shook his head, "A couple of dozen, they're rather serious about making sure that nothing messes with their best source of income."
Harry smiled, "This could actually be to our benefit."
Hermione stared at Harry, "What do you mean? It's barbaric."
Harry said, "True but if they're letting people in for a couple of hours then bringing up supposedly perfect wards, it probably means that they're not going to waste money on an army of security guards while it's locked down, right?"
James said, "I wouldn't think they would considering they don't think there is a way past the wards."
Harry said, "Simple then, we go to one of the auctions and we place the cabinet in a supply closet or something then we come back after hours and loot the ministry to the ground."
Lily laughed as she stepped into the kitchen, "That actually sounds like it might be the start of a workable plan."
Sirius said, "But only the start."
Puck smiled as she stared at Lily's naked body, "I'm glad I came for a visit..."
Lily smiled at Puck, "I'm glad that you came as well." She looked over at Flora and Hestia, "You must be Flora and Hestia."
Flora curtsied, "Yes Mrs. Potter."
Lily said, "You can call me Lily. Let's head to the living room so we can spread out and start planning our little raid."
Hermione stared at Lily, "Really?"
"Really, really." Lily smirked as she turned and walked into the living room.
James laughed, "You have no idea how long she's wanted to raid the ministry and cause them problems."
Sirius smirked, "This is just the first time that we've had enough of a plan that it wasn't suicide."
Harry shook his head as he tried to pull his gaze off his Mum's behind, "Let's get to work."
James followed his wife into the living room.
Sirius said, "Becca."
A naked nine year old girl with pointed ears and wavy black hair that came down to her cute little bottom appeared with a small pop, "Yes oh great and powerful Puppy Master?"
Sirius rolled his eyes, "I need you to pop back to the house and grab the ministry maps."
Becca said, "You mean the completely illegal ones hidden behind the secret wall that you're not supposed to have?"
"Yep those."
Becca grinned, "Be back in a snap." She snapped her fingers and vanished.
Flora asked, "Who was that?"
Sirius said, "That was one of my house elves."
Hestia said, "She looked mostly human..."
Sirius shrugged, "She's half human."
Puck asked, "Is that why she's not wearing clothes?"
"Probably, she doesn't like them. Ordering her or her sisters to wear clothes ends in burnt toast, half cooked eggs and other problems. It's really not worth it unless I have to."
Becca popped back in with a leather map case, "Here you go Boss."
Sirius said, "Thanks, you're free to hang out or pop back and hang out with your sisters."
Becca said, "I guess I'll stay and hang out for a bit."
"Sure." Sirius walked into the living room.
Harry smiled as the group moved into the living room. There was a ten foot tall tree in the corner complete with multi colored lights and ornaments. He had to work not to snicker as he looked over and saw Ginny and Beth dressed in Santa hats and red and white socks that came up to mid thigh and nothing else. They were playing some type of game on the computer. "Hey Beth, hey Ginny."
Beth looked over, "Hey Harry, oh twins..."
Ginny smiled at Harry and the others, "Hey. Don't mind her, she's got a thing for twins."
Flora smiled at Ginny and Beth, "We'll have to play later if our masters allow."
Hermione really wanted a look at the ministry records to see if there was a way to at least partially reverse some of the ministry programming on the girls. "Have fun."
Puck said, "As long as we can watch, I mean have fun."
Beth snickered as she got up out of the chair and walked over to Harry and gave him a big hug, "I missed you."
Harry gave her a hug and a pat on the behind, "I missed you too."
Beth giggled, "We're going to have so much fun during the holidays that you're not going to want to go back."
Harry set Beth down, "We'll see."
Puck looked over at where Lily was sitting on the couch looking over the ministry map, "Do we have a plan?"
Lily smiled at Puck and patted the couch next to her, "Come see. We're trying to find the best place to stick the vanishing cabinet."
Puck walked over and sat down next to Lily on the couch. "What do we have?"
Sirius pointed to a couple of supply closets on the map. "Here, here and here might work. If we can get through a locked door here, then we should be able to stash the cabinet out of sight which is less risky than leaving it in a supply closet that they might check."
Harry walked over to look at the map, "Aren't the doors warded and locked?"
"Yes which is why we would have to take out a security guard or bribe them."
"Or simply sneak past with an invisibility cloak while the guard checks on things."
James walked over to stand behind Lily, "That's a good idea."
Flora and Hestia hung back as they looked over the living room.
Hermione walked over and sat down next to Puck. "Harry should be able to sneak and summon me."
James said, "He'll have to leave his wand behind."
Harry asked, "Why?"
Sirius said, "The ministry has wards that detect wands when things are in lockdown."
Harry asked, "How do you know this?"
"I might have gotten one of the ministry witches drunk a couple of months ago and asked for details after dosing her with Veritaserum."
Becca said, "Bad Puppy Master."
Sirius snorted, "I sent her on her way perfectly unharmed but we needed the maps and the information."
Puck asked, "Assuming we can get in, what exactly are we going after?"
James pointed to another section of the map, "The Department of Mysteries has a library filled with banned spells, I'd also like to steal some time turners from the room of time."
James said, "I'd also like to hit the department that processes the slaves to see if we can figure out a way to reverse the process. With any luck we should be able to break the slaves out of the holding cells before we have to flee."
Sirius said, "The trick is going to be to pull everything off without getting blamed or caught."
Harry said, "Death Eaters."
James looked at Harry, "What?"
"The Death Eaters are purebloods or half bloods, they can't like the idea of purebloods being turned into slaves especially if muggleborns can buy them, right?"
Lily said, "That doesn't mean we're going to find any that would work with us."
"Of course not but dressing up like Death Eaters when we pull this off should confuse the issue and I bet you can charm the robes to make sure no one can figure out who we are."
Sirius said, "As distasteful as that idea is, it would make a great prank. It would also help deal with any portraits on the walls."
James said, "Let's discuss the routes we'll be taking."
Luna enjoyed the eye candy as she listened to Harry and James discuss the best way to loot the ministry of magic to the ground.
Harry was a little surprised just how easy it was to sneak out of the bathroom with his father's invisibility cloak and head down the hall away from the large group of wizards milling around as they waited for the auction hall to open for the big auction. He snagged a set of keys off the guard's belt as he snuck past the rather overweight lumpy and bored security guard. 'I should have these back before you know it.' He slipped through a door a second guard had left open. He tried not to throw up as he saw the second security guard shagging a less than pleasant looking older witch on the table in the middle of the lounge that lead to several other offices. 'You're making this way too easy.' He moved to the furthest office away from the guard and silently read the plaque on the door. 'Office of Experimental Creature Breeding.'
He glanced over at the guard and realized that he was looking up at the ceiling completely distracted. He carefully checked the set of keys until he found the right key then carefully opened the door and slipped inside then shut the door. He listened at the door and relaxed slightly when he didn't hear the guard shout or anything that he wasn't already doing. He looked around the office at the desks and the dividers and the way things were set up. He smiled as he made his way toward the back of the room where the supply closet should be. He checked the closet and was slightly surprised that it was locked and that none of the keys he had worked on it. 'Rats.' He looked down at the desk, 'No one is that stupid... well they are wizards.' He searched the desk and was a little surprised when he found a key after a couple of seconds of searching. It was hanging from the desktop in the drawer in such a way that it was out of sight but easy to grab. He took the key and opened the supply closet.
"Merlin..." He snapped his mouth shut hoping that the sound hadn't carried out the room. There was a shelf filled with books and another shelf filled with ledgers and a small writing desk pushed up against the wall. It looked normal enough until you noticed the large box of gems sitting on the desk, the bags of gold on the desk and the open ledger with names, addresses, monster breeds, 'donation' totals and license numbers. 'This should be useful.' He concentrated and summoned Hermione.
Hermione blinked as she appeared in a supply closet with Harry. She whispered, "Harry?"
Harry took his hood off so that his head was visible, put his finger to his lips and whispered, "There is a guard outside. Put the cabinet here then pop back until I summon you."
Hermione whispered, "Be right back." She shifted to her library and grabbed the disillusioned vanishing cabinet then shifted back with it. She whispered, "Stay safe." then stepped into the cabinet to make sure that it could take them to the other cabinet despite the wards.
Harry checked to make sure that the closet could be opened from the inside then locked it and replaced the key where he had found it. He snuck back out of the lounge past the blissfully unaware security guard. He replaced the keys on the lazy security guard's belt then snuck back to the bathroom where he took his father's cloak off, stuffed it in his bag and made his way back to where his father was talking to an wizard that might be in his mid to late forties.
James smiled at Harry, "Ah, I'm glad to see that you didn't get lost."
"Compared to Hogwarts this place isn't so bad."
The older wizard smiled, "I imagine not. It was nice seeing you James."
Harry watched the older wizard leave, "Who was that?"
"He used to be an auror back in the day before we quit in protest. We should probably make sure we've got some nice seats." James made his way into the auction room.
Harry followed his father and tried to keep his anger in check as he saw a bunch of overly happy naked children in chains standing on a stage with a bunch of grizzled wizards making sure they didn't go anywhere. The worst part was that most of the girls were treating this as a beauty contest. It took him a few minutes of studying the witches on display before he recognized Fleur and Gabrielle Delacour on stage. Mostly it was because they were younger than he remembered and someone had changed their hair color to red rather than blonde. He probably wouldn't have recognized Gabrielle but Fleur looked close enough to what he remembered to be recognizable. Harry whispered, "I knew two of them the last time around..."
James whispered, "Which two?"
"The two very cute red heads in the middle there."
James said, "We'll just have to make sure we buy them."
"Do you have enough?"
"Yes." James wasn't all that concerned unless the bidding got truly horrible and he didn't see Malfoy who would have bid against him on general principle. James whispered, "What we got from the basilisk should more than cover them."
"Good point."
Sirius smiled as Hermione stepped out of the vanishing cabinet to the run down muggle hotel room they had rented with cash while looking like other people thanks to a couple of disguise spells. He wasn't sure if it was overkill but considering the firestorm that they were going to cause he didn't want anything linking back to them. They hadn't wanted to leave the second vanishing cabinet in their home just incase something went wrong and the ministry found them. Better to lose the cabinets than to have the ministry get wind of what they were trying. "How did it go?"
Hermione said, "Like a charm. We put it in a closet in an office. It should be safe enough for a couple of hours. Especially if I go first to scout things out."
Sirius said, "I still think we should have taken the time to make a map of the ministry that would tell us where people are."
"That would have been helpful."
Becca asked, "Can we get back to the party?"
Sirius said, "She's got a point, I sort of want to watch Puck and Lily have sex."
"You're disturbed."
"You can't tell me you're not looking forward to watching."
Hermione blushed as she lied, "I'm not looking forward to watching."
Sirius laughed, "Let's go Becca."
Becca reached out and grabbed Sirius and Hermione by the arm and apparated back to the manor.
It took everything Harry had not to storm back to the main floor, reclaim his wand and blast his way back here so that he could kill the smug looking bastard that had handed him a sheet of paper with the notes on how the girls had been basically mind wiped, drugged with obedience potions and given cooking, cleaning, sexual and tailoring skills along with English. The most disturbing part was they were listed as prime virgin sacrifice material thanks to their Veela heritage.
James noticed the look of rage on Harry's face, "We should get the girls home."
Harry sighed as he realized that James had a point. There was no sense in starting stuff when there were so many guards around. He held out his hands for his two overly happy girls to take. "Let's go."
Gabrielle giggled happily as she took Harry's hand, "Okay Master."
Fleur smiled at the slightly younger wizard that was her new owner, "Yes Master."
Harry had to remind himself that there wasn't anything he could do right now as they made their way toward the public floo entrance that would take them back to the manor.
Beth fingered herself as she watched her Mum and Hermione wrestle on the water bed they had conjured while Puck sprayed them with whip cream when it looked like they didn't have enough to keep them slipping and sliding around. "We should get the twins up there next."
Ginny snickered as she played with Beth's bottom as she watched the show. "I'm looking forward to licking the whip cream off of them."
Harry stumbled out of the fireplace with Gabrielle and Fleur. He stared at Hermione and Lily's whip cream covered bodies in surprise. "Oh."
Lily smirked as she twisted on top and pinned Hermione under her while she was distracted. "I win."
Puck said, "I think we all win."
Harry said, "I'll second that."
James stepped out of the fireplace and smiled as he saw his whip cream covered wife. "You look delicious."
Lily laughed as she rolled off of Hermione and wiggled on the whip cream covered bed, "You're all welcome to have a taste."
"Okay." Beth smiled as she stopped playing with herself and climbed up on the bed so that she could lick her mother's crotch clean of whipped cream.
Puck giggled as she climbed up on the bed so that she could claim one of Lily's breasts to clean while leaving her rear end near Hermione.
Hermione grinned as she reached out and started running her hands over Puck's legs and behind.
Luna giggled as she played with Flora and Hestia as they watched the show.
James laughed as he walked over and reached down and grabbed a taste of whipped cream off Lily's face and ate it. "Not bad."
Sirius laughed as he grabbed a clump out of Lily's hair, "Mmm hair flavored."
Lily squirmed from Beth and Puck's attention as she said, "Hush you."
Harry pulled her eyes away from Lily looked at Fleur, "Are you okay?"
Fleur smiled as she watched the cute naked girls, "I'm good."
Gabrielle said, "They're being silly."
Harry smiled at the six year old, "Yes they are." He walked over to stand behind Beth, "Can I have some fun."
Beth stopped what she was doing with her tongue long enough to respond, "Yes."
Harry smiled as he licked his finger then reached between her legs and started sliding his finger in and out of his sister as she licked out her Mum.
Sirius asked, "How long do you think we've got before they lock up and we can go loot the ministry?"
James said, "Probably an hour and a half or so."
"Plenty of time for them to finish having fun and get cleaned up."
"Exactly."
Lily asked, "Are you ready?"
Harry looked away from the cabinet and over at his mother who was wearing a rather close approximation of a Death Eater's robes and mask, "Not really but it's got to be done."
Hermione said, "This should be easier than the last time we broke into the ministry."
Harry said, "We can hope."
Sirius said, "If you run into security drop them as quickly as you can without using magic. Use magic only as a last resort. They can probably detect magic use in addition to the wand ward." While he wasn't sure that they were actually that competent he wasn't going to bank on the fact that they were terminally incompetent if he could help it.
Hermione said, "I've checked and the path is clear, let's do this."
Harry said, "We've got our bags and our primary destinations."
James tapped Harry on the head and disillusioned him. "In you go."
Harry entered the cabinet.
James tapped Hermione, Lily and Sirius on the heads and disillusioned them before handing his wand to Becca, "Keep this safe."
Becca said, "Of course. Call if you need me once you get away from the wards."
"I will."
James pulled the hood up on his invisibility cloak as Becca apparated away.
Harry sighed in relief as he stuffed the last clock in his section into his expanded bag, it had taken almost an hour to loot everything in the room even with Hermione helping by shifting back and forth into the library to drop stuff off. They hadn't wanted to actually leave the room with anything in case there were charms on it that prevented it or warned someone in the ministry about it. Thankfully no one had interrupted his looting spree. "Let's get out of here."
Hermione said, "I'll drop the last two bags and pick up more empty ones just in case we want to loot anything else on our way out."
"I want the ledgers in the beast office."
"And the books." She picked up the bags.
"I'll summon you when it's safe."
Hermione shifted with the last two filled bags.
Harry made his way out of the Department of Mysteries and headed for the vanishing cabinet.
James used a heavy metal chair to bash one of the security guards over the head so that Lily and Sirius could make their way back to the cabinet. "Nothing personal, oh wait yes it is." The unconscious security guard was the same guard that had made some rather inappropriate comments about Beth the last time they had went to the auction to check on things. He reached down and stole the guard's keys. "A little help here."
Sirius grabbed his left arm while James grabbed his right arm. "What are we doing with him?"
"Dragging him into the cabinet then I'll transfigure him into something so we can use him as a scapegoat."
Sirius grinned as he set his bags down and helped James drag the guard toward the cabinet, "Good plan."
Lily asked, "Any word from Harry?"
Sirius said, "Not yet, let's drop this guy off then we'll use the mirror."
"That sounds like a plan." She started looting the supply closet while James and Sirius hauled the guard through the cabinet. She knew that she wouldn't be able to do much with the gems for a while but a lot of the other rare monster parts could be used for rituals and potions.
Harry stared at the door that was quickly being eaten by James's expanded bag, "Why are you stealing a door?"
James said, "It goes with the keys. I'd like the chance to figure out how the locks are enchanted."
Harry said, "Good call."
"Are you finished?"
"Yes. Did you get everything you needed out of the library?"
James sighed, "Yes but they're charmed so they'll set off an alarm if they leave the ministry. We're going to need Hermione's help to get them out of here."
Harry concentrated and summoned her, "No problem."
Hermione looked around, "What's next?"
James smiled as he held up the guard's wand, "Drop the bags off in your library then come back and get ready to shift out with the cabinet after the rest of us are through."
Hermione looked at James, "What are you going to do?"
James said, "Something I should have done years ago."
Lily looked at James, "You better not be considering anything drastic."
James shook his head, "Of course not, just a little prank."
"Why don't I believe you? Promise me you aren't going to burn the ministry to the ground."
James sighed as he shelved his plan to use fiendfyre on the building. "You're worried about the buildings around the ministry aren't you?"
Lily said, "Yes."
"Fine, I'll use my backup plan. Now head through the cabinet so that we can get out of here in an orderly manner."
"Just come back safely or else." She walked into the vanishing cabinet.
Sirius laughed, "Just don't prank them so badly that they never stop looking for you."
James shrugged, "Details."
Hermione grabbed the last of the bags and shifted to the library. She looked around her cluttered library and sighed, "This is going to take forever to sort through, at least I don't have to sleep." She shifted back to Harry.
Harry said, "Let's go Sirius."
Sirius pouted, "But I want to see the fun."
James said, "You don't even know what I'm planning."
"I know it's going to be good."
James smirked, "I promise I'll share the memory later."
"Fine."
Hermione waited until Harry and Sirius left then asked, "Do we have a plan?"
James smirked, "Yes, just be ready to shift out with the cabinet after I'm through it."
"I'll be here."
James smiled as he went down the hall and stopped at the elevator. He wasn't sure how long he had before the alarms went off if he cast a spell, it might be a couple of minutes or it might be tomorrow when people got back to the office or maybe the guards could use magic, that's not how he would set things up but the ministry was filled with idiots. He pulled a small cauldron filled with wet concrete out of his bag. He used the guard's wand to attach the cauldron securely to the wall of the elevator shaft then he hit the cauldron with his most powerful duplication charm so that it would continuously duplicate for eight or nine hours. He smirked as the cauldron started shooting wet concrete down the elevator shaft at about the same speed as water rushed out of a giant fire hydrant. He ran back toward the vanishing cabinet as a wailing started, 'I guess they really don't want the guards using magic.'
Hermione winced at the noise. "What the hell is that?"
"An alarm." James jumped into the vanishing cabinet.
Hermione grabbed the vanishing cabinet and shifted out.
Lily smiled as Beth walked into the kitchen, "How are you doing pumpkin?"
Beth took a seat at the table, "I'm a bit sad that most everyone had to go back to school but I'll manage."
Lily said, "Ginny, Gabrielle and Fleur are still going to be here and Harry has the cabinet so they'll be able to visit on the weekends."
Beth sighed, "I know, it's just not the same. What are we going to do when they leave for real? I mean I know we'll get our Harry back but I like the other Harry too..."
Lily sighed, "I know. I'm having a lot of fun with Hermione, Luna and Puck and I'm looking forward to the end of the school year when I can get him into bed. I'm not sure, Sirius and I have been working with Hermione to create copies of everyone using the bottle ritual."
"How are they going to copy Dad and Sirius?"
"A temporary gender changing potion. Same thing for the rest of the teachers he wants to copy. I think he's got plans to have Fred and George spike some of the teachers' food."
Beth sighed, "That's not a bad idea. Is that why you wanted a blood sample from me?"
Lily said, "Yes."
"Is the bottle me going to be stuck as a kid forever?"
Lily said, "Nah, the ritual lets the caster pick how old they want the girls by how many drops of blood they use, two per year."
"Does this mean that we can make a female copy of Harry with all his knowledge?"
Lily said, "That's the hope, we'll see how well it works in a year or so."
Beth pouted, "That's a long time to wait."
"I know but we're not sure what will cause Harry to skip worlds."
Beth sighed, "Is it a bad thing that I hope he doesn't jump worlds for a while?"
Lily reached over and lightly touched Beth's nose, "It's a thing."
"Just tell me that everything will be okay..."
Lily said, "Everything will be okay."
"Thanks..."
Days went to weeks, weeks went to months and other than a little altercation where Hermione had to mostly liquefy Theodore Nott's brain to get him to sell Susan Bones during the Easter holidays the rest of the year went quite well for Harry. In addition to figuring out some of the slave spells like how to create skill candies of basic skills you already knew they finished their forth sports car and were half way finished with enchanting it like the others when the term ended which had made their professor rather happy. For the first time ever Harry had had a stellar year without a single horrible teacher, no enemies worth anything and no crazy lunatic Dark Wizards trying to kill him. It was because of those reasons that he hadn't been all that surprised when the universe had decided to reach out and kick him in the head with a steel toed boot from hell.
The day had started off nicely enough with him fucking his Mum on the living room couch while his girls cheered much like the first couple of days of summer. Then had had an excellent lunch with Puck who had come to visit for the weekend. Things had been going so well until Hermione had brought Puck, Luna and Gabrielle into the library to help her organize things. Hermione had tried to shift with him but it hadn't worked which was a bit irksome not to mention painful. Still everything would have probably been all right if they hadn't gotten their grades from Hogwarts or maybe if he hadn't opened said letter from Hogwarts. Harry had barely enough time to look over his collection of outstandings before he felt a shiver go down his spine and his vision blur, he had made it half a step before everything started going black, "Goodbye..."
The world's Harry blinked as he suddenly found himself back in the driver's seat for the first time in a year. "I'm back Mum."
Lily asked, "How much do you remember?"
"All the skills the other me used, most of the stuff he was working on, most of the stuff he knew. I've had a year to look through his memories. My aunt sucked and not in a good way."
Lily said, "Yes she did. Ice cream?"
Harry looked at Lily, "That's all you have to say Mum?"
Lily sighed, "What else am I supposed to say?"
Harry sighed, "I don't know, Hermione is gone, Puck is gone, Luna is gone and Gabrielle is gone which is sad because I was looking forward to fucking her. My best friend is gone..." He took a breath, "Sorry... I know she was the other Harry's friend but I remember." He sighed, "Yeah, ice cream then I think I need to hit the books to make sure that I keep my new skills."
Lily shook her head, "Ice cream then you can help tell your sister that Hermione, Puck and Luna are gone."
Harry sighed, "Better make it lots of ice cream."
Harry blinked as he found himself in a misty room, "Damn it."
A slightly older Harry smirked, "One perfect year."
Harry glared at the older Harry, "Mother fucker."
"Nah, that's you. Good job by the way." The older Harry smirked at the younger Harry.
Harry sighed, "Voldemort?"
"Dead, don't worry your alternate has a happy life for a while until the ministry goes even crazier and starts coming after everyone."
Harry asked, "How long?"
"A year, maybe two."
"Is there a way back?"
The older Harry smirked, "Well you left half of a set of vanishing cabinets behind. I imagine with the right spells and incantations you could link the vanishing cabinets across the dimensions."
Harry asked, "Now what?"
"Now you deal with a crazy seriously evil version of yourself that the soul shard managed to corrupt. Try not to blame the Dursleys too much, the other you really is nuts and the world is probably even more screwed up than the pervert world but hey there are some really fun dark rituals in this world."
"How do I shift worlds?"
"You shift when the evil Harry is dead."
Harry blinked as he suddenly found himself in a familiar cupboard under the stairs. Looking down at his hands blew the idea that he was anywhere close to his eleventh birthday out of the water with how small they were. He had a couple of seconds to try to wrap his head around everything that had just happened when the cupboard opened and a massive Uncle Vernon reached in and grabbed him by the arm and hauled him out of the cupboard. He stared in surprise as he noticed the living room was covered in plastic sheets. "What the hell?"
Vernon Dursley snarled as he shook Harry, "Don't take that tone with me boy."
Harry stared as he noticed a five or six year old Dudley standing near the door with a knife. "What's going on?"
Vernon smirked, "We've decided that we're tired of your freakish ways so we're going to play one last game of Harry hunting. Then we're going to have you for Dudley's birthday."
"What?"
Vernon smirked, "Petunia is going to cook you, you stupid boy, why else do you think we've been feeding you better these last couple of weeks?"
Harry spent a couple of seconds trying to figure out if the lunatic was serious then decided that he was. He channeled his magic as best he could and cut Vernon's throat open deeply enough that he could see his spine. He spun toward Dudley as soon as his feet hit the ground and cut his cousin in half with an overpowered cutting hex. "At least they were nice enough to put plastic down." He concentrated and summoned Hermione.
Hermione appeared in nothing but black silk socks and a witch's hat. "What the hell, you're like five and covered in blood?"
"Don't worry it's not mine." Harry looked over her outfit with a smirk, "Something you want to tell me?"
Hermione glanced down and realized that she wasn't wearing what she had been before she was summoned, "I've got no idea..." She trailed off as she spotted Harry's dead uncle and cousin. "What happened?"
"They were going to kill me and cook me for Dudley's birthday party."
Hermione stared at Harry, "That's insane, are you sure that it wasn't some sick joke?"
"They had the plastic all ready... Dudley had a knife and Vernon was going to let him go Harry hunting with a knife." Harry reached out and kicked Vernon in the head.
Hermione said, "You obviously survived. Why are you so small? I thought the other Harry said that you would normally appear near Hogwarts age."
"I've got no idea. The other Harry said this world was evil and that the other me had succumbed to Voldemort and that he was evil."
Hermione said, "Your eyes are red."
"Shit." Harry sighed as he walked over to the television and flipped it on then stared at the screen in horror at the image of a guy roasting on a fire appeared on the screen.
The television announcer said, "Prison Barbeque will return after these important messages from our sponsors." Harry quickly turned the station when an advertisement for Barbeque sauce came on the screen that showed them pouring it on some guy that had been spit on a metal pole. "What the hell?" He flipped the television off after the next station was a hopefully fictional show about alien girls that were hunting men for fun and dinner.
Hermione said, "I think we might need some disillusionment charms until we figure out what the hell is going on."
"Agreed, are the girls safe?"
"They were when you called, I'll go check." Hermione shifted back to her library.
Harry tried to avoid the pool of blood on the plastic as he stole Vernon's wallet. "It's not like he's going to need it." He took a quick look around the house for valuables. That's when he noticed a number of disturbing trophies that his aunt had on the hallway table. They were models of people with what looked like a pole shoved through them. "First place Spitter, third place roaster and another grand prize... this place is even crazier than the perverted world." Harry shivered as he carefully made his way into the master bedroom to see if the wall safe was there in this world. He stopped and stared in horror as there was a whole table with bleached white skulls carefully arranged on it. He cautiously checked to make sure that his aunt wasn't hiding someplace in the room waiting to kill him. He walked over to try to figure out what the pictures next to the skulls were then wished he hadn't as the pictures showed a version of his Aunt Petunia and several men that were roasting on spits over fires. "At least she learned to cook in one reality..."
He shook his head and looked away from the insanity that was the table and grabbed a sports bag that was sitting at the foot of the bed. He dumped out what looked like a woman's workout clothes onto the bed and walked over to the picture that concealed the safe. He pulled the picture of Vernon's work off the wall then used a touch of magic to open the safe.
He had just opened Vernon's safe when Hermione reappeared wearing the same socks and hat outfit as before and carrying a purple purse. "Are they safe?"
"They're safe, Puck is freaking out a bit about her parents but they're safe. Luna seems the most calm and Gabrielle doesn't really understand what's going on. I left her with a puzzle to work on. I left Puck with some books to read as I really don't want her out here until we figure out what the hell is going on."
Harry smiled slightly as he emptied the wall safe filled with gold coins and a lot of cash into a sports bag, "I don't blame you or them."
Hermione stared at the table in horror, "Your aunt is nuts."
"She's not my aunt, I'm not claiming the bitch. The one I had was bad enough."
"Diagon Alley?"
Harry said, "It seems the safest. That and there are a couple of things I want to pick up."
"Like what?"
"Like the contents of my vault if we have room in the library."
Hermione nodded, "There are some secret passage ways that open to vaults, we should be fine for a couple of worlds."
"Good because I'm sure as hell not staying in this world longer than it takes me to find a couple of people, do a couple of rituals then get the hell out."
Hermione pulled a dress out of her purse and slipped it on. "Who are you looking for?"
Harry said, "This world's you, Tonks and possibly Ginny depending on what the world is like."
She pulled a pair of boots out of her purse and put them on. "There we go."
"I can't say you look nicer that way but it should help keep us from getting stopped by people."
"I'm going to miss being able to run around naked and have people think it's at least half way normal."
Harry smiled wistfully, "So am I."
"I'll apparate us to Diagon Alley."
"We should probably use disillusionment charms first until we figure out what's going on."
"Agreed." Hermione tapped Harry on his head and disillusioned him then tapped herself on her head and turned herself invisible. She grabbed Harry's hand and apparated them to Diagon Alley a second before the front door opened.
Petunia sighed as she opened the door and saw Dudley and Vernon, "At least you'll make a better meal than Harry for the neighborhood watch group." She looked down at Vernon, "I warned you that you should leave Harry alone. Ah well, I better get Dudley into the freezer then I can get started roasting you Vernon." She smirked as she started dragging her fat son toward the walk in freezer. 'And Mum wondered why I married such a fat rich idiot."
Harry looked around Diagon Alley, "It seems normal enough."
Hermione nodded, "To the bank."
Harry really wished he had his wand with him as they walked toward the bank. Strangely enough everything seemed rather normal. "Can you cancel the spell before we get there please?"
Hermione tapped Harry on the head and canceled her spell on him then she tapped her own head and canceled the spell. "There."
Harry was a little surprised to see that the inside of the bank was much the same as it always was. Ten minutes later he was bleeding on a magical plate so that he could reclaim his vault key from Dumbledore who according to the goblins had already stolen about half of his trust fund. Thankfully he still had more than enough gold for what he needed to do. He winced as he tied a piece of cloth over his finger to stop the bleeding from the wicked knife the goblin had stabbed him with. "I'd like to visit my vault now."
The goblin sneered, "I'm sorry you're not able to withdrawal funds until you're eleven."
Harry forced himself to shrug rather than glare at the goblin, "That's fine, I just need to take an inventory and put some stuff there for safe keeping."
The goblin smirked, "That's fine then, we're the safest bank around."
Hermione said, "So the fact that you let someone steal half of Harry's money isn't your fault?"
"He had a proper key. Do watch that."
Harry said, "I want all keys rescinded other than my new one."
The goblin said, "We can do that for a fee of 100 galleons."
Harry glared at the goblin, "Fine."
The goblin said, "I'll have my assistant show you to your vault while I set up the proper paperwork."
Harry's smile was a cold hard thing that caused a shiver to go down the Goblin's spine, "That's acceptable."
One horrible cart ride later and they were in Harry's vault. He was rather angry to see that it had less than half of what he remembered it should have. 'I'm going to kill him.'
The goblin sneered, "There is a ward on the vault, you will not be able to leave with any coin or personal items that you didn't bring in with you."
Harry said, "That's fine, stand outside."
The goblin snorted but left the vault.
Harry looked over the piles of coin, "This is about half of what should be here."
Hermione stared, "It's still more than I was expecting, between this and what we took in gems..."
"I know, can you grab a couple of bags full and shift?"
Hermione smiled as she walked out of sight of the door and started moving piles of coin into her bags of holding, "One shopping trip coming up."
Harry busied himself looking for anything he could find that would be useful while Hermione collected enough money for their shopping spree.
Three shifts later and half the gold in the vault was now secured safely in Hermione's library. Hermione picked up her dress that had refused to shift with her and put it back on. "That's going to get annoying, it worked before."
"Maybe this world is different." Harry walked to the door, "We're ready to leave."
The goblin looked at the piles that looked the same from this angle, "Try not to waste our time too often wizard."
Harry said, "Don't worry, I only plan on wasting your time one or two more times." He was planning on looting his vault the rest of the way the next time he came here.
The goblin scowled as he took the humans back up to the top.
Harry was rather glad that the goblins in his world hadn't been as rude then again he had been eleven the last time he dealt with goblins rather than five.
Hermione waited until they were outside of the bank before she asked, "Now where?"
"Borgin and Burkes, I want to collect the vanishing cabinet from there then I want to hit the book store and see if we can figure out what the hell is going on."
Hermione said, "In that case, I'll be right back with some stuff and some coin." She shifted and left her dress behind.
Harry picked up her dress and moved to a less busy part of the alley so that there would be less people that could see Hermione when she popped back in.
Hermione popped back in two minutes later disillusioned, grabbed the dress from a startled Harry and pulled it on. "I got what we need." She pulled out a pair of leather gloves and slipped them on then canceled her disillusionment spell as she started walking toward Knockturn Alley.
Borgin looked up as a witch walked in with a messy haired five year old, "You're a little young to be in here by yourself."
Hermione said, "I've got coin and you have some things I want. You come highly recommended."
Borgin smiled a creepy smile, "Coin is always welcome. Who recommended me?"
Hermione quickly collected the Hand of Glory, a used wand, the death necklace and several other small items that might be useful. She also wheeled the whole cart of books to the front then dropped a bag of gold on the counter, "My aunt said you have some more dangerous books, I want to see them."
Borgin looked at the bag of coin then looked at the girl that obviously knew what she wanted, "Of course." He walked over and opened the secret door to his supply of seriously dark rituals. "As can see we have only the best."
Hermione spent a minute moving books from the secret stash to the cart until she had everything she wanted. "So I've been told."
Borgin frowned, "You realize that each of those books is quite expensive, yes?"
Hermione raised her left hand and pulled the trigger of her disillusioned and silenced sawed off shot gun which caused Borgin's head to explode in a mess. "I do."
Harry jumped back, "Shit... warn a person before you do that." He trialed off as Hermione put her invisible gun back in her purse then started loading the books and other horrible items into a bag.
Hermione said, "Sorry, I didn't want to tip the guy off. Try not to touch anything." She picked up her bag of books and walked over to the vanishing cabinet and shifted with the bag and cabinet. She stashed the books in the vault, "Luna these books are horribly dangerous, keep Puck and Gabrielle away from them."
Puck sighed, "I'm not an idiot."
"True but you love books and these are most likely cursed. I need to get these de-cursed before you look through them and even then that might not be the best idea. I'll be back in a bit with some food."
Gabrielle said, "Thanks, I'm getting hungry."
"Sure thing." Hermione shifted back to Harry
Harry handed Hermione the dress she had lost, "Here."
Hermione said, "Thanks. Let's get out of here."
Harry smiled as they walked out and headed toward the bookstore. "Is it just me or are there more shops here?"
Hermione said, "I don't think it's just you."
A quick stop for ice cream and salads and a couple of shifts later and they had fed the munchkins. After that they spend four hours stealing books from grumpy mean bookstore owners by having Hermione shift with a bag of holding filled with books. They bought a couple of books at Flourish and Blotts as well as pulled off the vanishing trick for the books they didn't want to be seen buying. All told she had a couple of hundred new books by the time she was done with her 'shopping' spree. From there they had left to explore the muggle side of things.
It didn't take them long once they got to the library to find out what was going on with the Dursleys and the television shows. Apparently it was legal to sell yourself or your children to a meat processing company for profit and had been for over a century. That and there was a lottery every week in all of the prisons where the 'winner' was cooked and served to other prisoners if they weren't healthy or auctioned off for money to the public if they were healthy. It was apparently a program that aimed to take violent criminals serving more than five years off the street permanently while helping to pay for the prisons.
Harry asked, "This world might even be more corrupt and sick than the last one."
Hermione searched the phonebook until she found her parents' names and address. Thankfully they matched what she remembered. "I have a feeling that we should go find the other me sooner rather than later."
Harry said, "It makes me wish there was a phonebook for the wizarding world."
Hermione shrugged, "If you're five that means that Tonks is in her second year at Hogwarts, she was in Hufflepuff in our world, that might not hold true in this one."
"We'll have to check. Do you want to apparate us to your folks home?"
"Not really, I'm not sure how crazy they are."
Harry said, "We won't know until we check."
Hermione reached out and apparated them to near the fence to her parent's backyard. She wasn't quite prepared to see a younger version of her parents arguing about their daughter and how the neighbors were talking about turning her over the mental hospital which would pretty much get her a one way ticket to a meat wagon.
Twenty minutes, two hexed mental institute workers, five dead neighbors and some exchanged gold later and Hermione and Harry were the not so happy owners of Ariel Hermione Granger a rather brilliant six year old witch under the condition that they take her far away from England and their corrupt laws. After that they had walked over to a local café to get pick up some bagels and cream cheese for themselves and the girls.
Harry looked at Ariel, "As soon as you finish your bagel, Hermione can get you settled in her library."
Ariel perked up, "Books?"
Hermione smiled at her alternate, "Yep, lots of books."
"Okay, when can I see Mum and Daddy again?"
Hermione said, "Not for a while pumpkin..." She really didn't want to have to explain to Ariel that her world was screwed up enough that her parents couldn't keep her.
Harry said, "Let's find a quiet place where you can disappear then you can help Ariel get settled while I deal with some other problems."
Hermione looked at Harry, "What are you going to do?"
"Find a hiding place and look at a couple of rituals and read a couple of history books. I want to figure out what happened to Sirius and crew."
"It shouldn't be hard to get a crappy hotel room. Do you need anything else?"
"My journal with my ritual notes and the stone."
"The stone?"
"I really don't want to die before I finish all of the rituals and one of them is going to turn me into an old man."
Hermione said, "We should get started on that before we lose our nerve."
"Good point."
A couple of hours later and Harry had a very good idea which rituals he wanted to do and had had happened to Sirius and his family. Sadly the war had gotten Sirius and Tonks's parents killed which had landed Nymphadora with her crazy aunts.
The problem with the rituals was that he needed some rather hard to find materials. Luckily he knew where to find one of the hard to find materials was which was why he was currently walking through the halls of Hogwarts with Hermione toward the headmaster's office. "Have I said how much I hate this plan?"
Hermione said, "It was your plan."
Harry sighed, "It's a stupid plan."
"Again with it being your plan."
Severus Snape stopped in front of Hermione, "What are you doing out of uniform and with a child? What house are you in?"
Harry raised his shotgun, pulled the trigger and blew Snape's head apart. "House, boom stick. I'm glad you figured out a charm to prevent recoil."
Hermione snorted as she looted Snape's wand and keys and added them to her bags. "Yeah, you enjoyed that way too much."
Harry reloaded the shotgun as he said, "Yep."
Hermione said, "Let's go we're almost at Dumbledore's office."
Harry walked around the corner then up to the gargoyle, "I'd like to talk to Professor Dumbledore about my family cloak." After three seconds the gargoyle moved up revealing a staircase.
Hermione walked up the staircase with Harry at her side.
Harry used Hermione's dress to conceal his shotgun as he was fairly sure that the headmaster could see through illusions or at least sense that something was there.
Dumbledore's eyes twinkled and he smiled in what he thought was a grandfatherly way, "Harry? Is that you my boy?"
Harry pulled the trigger on his shutgun and put a hole through Dumbledore's head.
Hermione jumped to the side as her dress ripped from the blast, "Damn it."
Harry pointed the gun at the phoenix that hadn't moved and relaxed as he realized that there were runes around Fawkes's perch that probably prevented him from leaving. He aimed his shotgun at Dumbledore and put another round into Dumbledore's head. "Thief."
Hermione sighed, "That's sort of like the pot calling the kettle black at this point."
Harry glanced back over at where Fawkes was perched. "Sorry."
The phoenix let out a rather undignified squawk that might have meant anything from thank you to how dare you as far as Harry could tell. Harry handed Hermione the shotgun then collected the elder wand from Dumbledore. He walked over and claimed his alternate's invisibility cloak. Mostly he had just come for his cloak but he wasn't going to pass up the opportunity a bound phoenix offered. "We should probably get to work."
Hermione said, "Doing what?"
"One of the books explained more about the theory of stealing power from magical creatures. I don't have all the details and this is probably less than safe but I'm not going to pass up this chance to increase my powers and abilities."
Hermione frowned as she realized that Harry's eyes were almost glowing and that his face had the start of a smirk. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"
Harry said, "This whole world is evil, we're going to be done with this world in a few days. If you don't want to help then loot his office to the ground while I take care of the ritual."
Hermione said, "We're going to talk about this later."
Harry looked at the trapped phoenix and said, "He'll be fine once he regenerates and I'm sure as hell not trying for that power." He smiled, 'I'll leave that for another world where the other me isn't quite so evil.'
Hermione worked on looting the room while Harry worked on setting up a power stealing ritual to steal some of Fawkes's abilities.
Twenty minutes of spell casting later and Harry had managed to burn half his face off, most of his hair and badly mangle his left arm. On the plus side his soul now had immunity to fire which should transfer to any body he was in, he had the ability to sing a beautiful yet extremely painful song and he had the ability to teleport like a phoenix so despite the horrible pain he was in he was calling it a win.
He downed another pain reduction potion then started working on the ritual that would absorb one of the Hands of Glory that they had. The completed ritual mummified his left hand but gave him the ability to see even without light. Harry had to bite his sleeve to keep from screaming in agony while he waited out the wave of pain from his mangled hand.
Hermione asked, "Are you going to be able to finish the next ritual?"
Harry took a breath then let it out as the wave of pain receded enough that he could talk without screaming. "Just two more rituals then we leave."
Hermione sighed, "I hope you know what you're doing."
"I hope you have enough polyjuice to last through our stay here." Harry stared working on the next ritual.
"Hopefully. Some of the stuff we took from Borgin and Burkes seems a little off."
Harry screamed in agony as he finished the next ritual and his testicles exploded. He vomited on the ground and curled up in agony for what felt like hours but was probably only a couple of minutes as Hermione stuffed a couple of healing potions down his throat so that he didn't bleed to death followed by a few more vials of pain medicine once he wasn't dry heaving anymore.
Hermione said, "You're insane."
Harry wiped his mouth with his good hand, "Most likely but that ritual is the easiest way I know of to get magic sight as a permanent ability for a person's soul. This next one is going to be the least fun and that's saying something considering the last one."
"How many years are you giving up?"
"Two hundred, I'll be a shriveled broken old man but the elixir of life should keep me alive..."
Hermione winced, "If you can call it that."
"It's a power boost to my soul rather than my body. Even if it kills me it will be worth it."
"Just do it."
Harry stared the ritual that would boost his magic and soul at the expense of his body.
Hermione watched in horror as Harry finished the ritual and his broken body aged and shriveled as he traded away his body's health and vitality for increased magical power and a stronger soul. Harry's body was only about a foot taller than he had been as a five year old as it was bent and worn with age. His eyes were dull and white and his skin like sun worn leather. "Are you still alive?"
Harry wheezed, "Barely. I don't think I can die of old age with the elixir running through my blood but it was close."
Hermione scowled, "I'd hit you but I think I'd break you." She handed him a vial of Polyjuice potion then enlarged his clothes so they didn't strangle him when he changed. "Here."
Harry smirked as he drank the potion and changed into a physical copy of Hermione. He sighed in relieve as the pain faded, "That feels a hundred times better."
Hermione snorted, "For an hour then you'll probably fall apart."
Harry said, "We've got a couple of doses in the vial, we've got plenty of time to find Nymphadora and loot the school's library of a couple of very rare and useful books."
Hermione said, "We really shouldn't but we probably need to have copies of those books."
Harry wrapped his cloak around himself, "Let's go find a Nymphadora."
Turns out that while it's rather easy to find a pink or purple haired girl in the great hall during meal times it's a lot harder to find a black haired Slytherin especially when you're not expecting to find them in Slytherin. Hermione was less than amused to have Nymphadora call her a mudblood which was probably why she had talked the girl into going to the dueling chamber for a challenge. Of course Harry had merely stunned her and her Slytherin cohorts then let Hermione lock them up in the library's dungeon. Why the library had a dungeon he wasn't sure. After that mess was cleaned up they headed to the Hogwarts library an stole a whole section of the restricted second before they decided that getting caught in the school with two dead professors was a bad idea.
Harry smiled slightly, "I forgot about something."
Hermione asked, "What?"
Harry smiled as he carefully grabbed Hermione's hand and teleported with her to just outside the Gaunt family shack. "I can teleport now."
Hermione shook her head, "Just don't kill yourself."
"Speaking of, can you grab a basilisk fang? I want to grab the ring."
"Sure." Hermione shifted.
Harry caught her dress, "Let's see, I stab the ring then I use a ritual to steal the stone's powers. Maybe it kills me and maybe it doesn't."
Hermione reappeared in her silk socks, boots, witch's hat and gloves. She carefully handed him the cloth wrapped fang.
Harry used the elder wand to blast the shack apart then float the ring out of it's box. Another flick of his wand caused the basilisk fang to fly over and stab the ring which destroyed the horcrux. He ignored the black smoke coming out of the ring. "Where to?"
Hermione smiled, "The shrieking shack?"
"That works for me." He teleported with Hermione to the shack.
Hermione looked around, "How what?"
Harry said, "Now we get some practice modifying people with the salve spells." Harry laughed, "Either that or I use a ritual to consume Nymphadora's metamorphmagus power."
Hermione frowned, "I'm starting to worry that this world is turning you evil."
Harry sighed, "I'm trying to ignore the voices..."
Hermione raised an eyebrow, "Really?"
"No voices but this world is just twisted and evil and I want it done with."
Hermione said, "We can dose Tonks with a truth serum to make sure she's evil then I guess we wipe her mind and make less evil copies of her then use her in the virgin sacrifice ritual."
Harry sighed, "Okay."
Harry wasn't happy with what he found out. Nymphadora had been tortured so much as a child by her aunts that her mind was a scary broken place. It was so bad that they had decided that putting her out of her misery was the best thing they could do for her after using a ritual to steal her metamorphmagus power.
Hermione said, "How are you feeling?"
Harry's red eyes glowed brighter as he said, "Like I'll never be clean again."
Hermione shivered, "If it makes you feel better I think Tonks would have understood."
Harry wiped Nymphadora's blood off his dagger, "Only a little bit. I have a feeling I'm going to have nightmares about this for a long time."
Hermione said, "You're probably right."
"Anything else I should do before I eat the broken crappy version of the Resurrection Stone?"
"I say we kill some goblins and steal some of their magic."
Harry sighed, "Sadly I don't have a ritual for that yet or if I do it's buried in the books we stole. "I guess we can teleport back and collect the rest of my gold."
Hermione smiled, "Then what?"
"Then I do the inheritance ritual on Puck and transfer most of the magic I gained into her."
"That will probably kill you."
Harry sighed, "If I take another dose of the elixir I'll probably survive long enough for you to get her back to the library."
Hermione said, "She'll be insanely powerful."
Harry said, "Yep, totally worth it." He was looking forward to ruling the world eventually with an army of unstoppable girls at his side.
"Let's get started."
Harry managed to absorb the Resurrection Stone without any problems or at least without an real problems as losing your left hand when it was already a blackened mess without polyjuice wasn't that big a deal. Thankfully he managed to give Puck half his body's magic without causing her any damage or transferring Voldemort or doing anything horrible to her. The gems he had used to filter the power were shot but that was a small price to pay for Puck gaining a large amount of clean magical power. Harry handed Hermione the elder wand and his invisibility cloak, "Keep these safe. I'll see you both on the flip side if my crazy idea doesn't work."
Puck said, "Stay safe."
Hermione looked at the cursed necklace that Harry was holding in his gloved hand. She handed him the random wand she had picked up in Borgin's shop. "What happens if it does?"
"Then I'm going to call you so that I can give the rest of my power to you."
Hermione sighed, "Just call me when you can." She shifted with Puck back to her library.
Harry took another swig of Polyjuice then flame teleported to Umbridge's office in the Ministry of Magic. "Reducto!"
Fudge and Umbridge might have died thanks to Harry's curse but seeing them together in an extremely compromising position on her desk without clothes didn't help his sanity at all not that there was much left of it anyways. His shock was such that when Mad Eye Moody burst through the door and cast a cutting hex at him he only barely dodged enough to keep from losing his head. Sadly his left shoulder was shredded. Unfortunately for Mad Eye, Harry was at the limit for pain reducing potions and hardly noticed which allowed him roll over the top of the heavy desk then banish it at Moody hard enough that it crashed through his hastily conjured shield and crushed his ribcage to mush. Harry sighed, "Sorry Moody, just taking out the trash." He flicked his wand at Mad Eye and summoned his enchanted eye. He pointed his wand at his shoulder and sealed the damage so that he wouldn't bleed out. He downed a pepper-up potion to combat the tiredness that was seeping into his limbs.
Harry staggered as he teleported back to the shrieking shack. He looked over his journal and used a ritual to destroy Moody's magic eye and imbue his right eye with the power to see through things and the power to see invisible things. Harry screamed as his right eye exploded in a shower of gore as something either went right or wrong. He wasn't sure nor did he really care for the next five minutes as he tried to pull himself back together mentally enough to continue. After another ten minutes he was able to concentrate enough to summon Hermione.
Hermione stared at Harry's ruined face, "What the hell have you been doing?"
"Please don't start, I'll explain the next time around, I promise."
"What do you need?"
"I need to give you most of the rest of my body's magic, if we're lucky you might even pick up a couple of things..."
"This is going to kill you..."
Harry coughed up some blood then managed to say, "That's the plan, we'll see how it works out."
Hermione helped Harry set up the crystals and gemstones for the ritual that would allow him to give her most of the rest of his body's magic.
Harry collapsed as he finished the ritual and pushed most of his body's magic into Hermione. "I need you to help me with one more thing then you can go."
Hermione looked at Harry, even though he was sort of still resembled her the damage to 'his' body was extensive and he appeared warped and hollow. Just short of skeletal if she was being honest. "What?"
"Help me set up the ritual for the opal necklace of death... I want to see if I can get the ability to have my hair dance in the wind on command."
Hermione laughed, "You're twisted."
Harry coughed up more blood, "I don't have much time Hermione, please."
Hermione said, "I'll help you. Then I'm leaving so I don't have to watch you die."
Harry smiled at her, "I love you too."
Hermione helped him set up the ritual then she shifted back to the library.
Harry finished casting the ritual with the tiny amount of magic he had left and tried to absorb the necklace, needless to say he only got a tiny fragment of the power of the necklace before the curse killed him.
The older Harry stared at the younger Harry, "You're a rat bastard, you know that right? I mean fuck that hurt just watching, what type of a sick bastard uses that damned castration ritual?"
Harry felt no shame in reaching into his pants and checking his equipment. He sighed in relief as he found that everything was as it should be, "The type of wizard that knows the downsides only affect the body. What type of bastard sends someone to a cannibalistic nightmare world without a bit of warning?"
"I said the world was evil. Nice shot on Snape by the way."
"Thanks." Harry sighed, "Where am I going next?"
The older Harry shrugged, "I'm not sure, either a gender flipped world or you might end up taking another hero's place for a bit. It's a toss up."
Harry sighed, "Great..." Harry sighed, "Please tell me that I'm not going to suddenly start liking men or something horrible because I'm in a female body."
"No, that world has a field over Britain that warps the mind and eventually turns people into borderline psychopaths."
Harry scowled, "There was nothing borderline about our aunt."
"She's fairly borderline in most worlds, this just pushed her over the edge. As for the next jump, just enjoy it."
"Any idea what's going to cause the next jump?"
"Nope, I'm guessing some task or something. Of course your death would probably do it as well but try to avoid that until you figure out if they're evil."
Harry sighed, "I'm going to have nightmares about that last world."
The older Harry sighed, "Yep, off and on for years but hey you got a couple of really nice abilities and you got to kill Umbridge and Fudge, that's always fun."
Harry shivered, "Says the guy that didn't have to see them have sex."
The older Harry shrugged, "There are worse things."
Harry asked, "Is there anyway to keep from being screwed by insanity fields?"
"Work on your mental shielding, look for rituals that increase your mental defenses, do some cross training if you land in another world."
Harry sighed, "Hopefully the next world isn't as broken."
The older Harry smirked, "That's the spirit. Take a chance to unwind a bit while you sort through the books you have. You should probably look over your rituals a bit to see what you did wrong and right. Other than that have fun."
