Sirius smiled as Jane entered the freshly cleaned kitchen in her bathrobe, "Morning."
Jane looked around the almost sparkling clean kitchen that Sirius, "How many cleaning spells did you use?" She was fairly sure that it hadn't been this clean when Tonks had showed them around last night but it had been fairly late.
Tonks snickered, "Way too many. I might have gotten a little carried away but I wasn't going to try to scrub the junk off by hand."
Jane said, "I don't blame you."
Sirius asked, "Breakfast?"
"What are you fixing?"
"Sausage and eggs." He looked over at Tonks, "Tonks is making toast. She doesn't trust me to push the button on the toaster."
"Pureblood." Tonks stuck out her tongue at Sirius.
Jane laughed, "In that case sure."
Sirius said, "In that case you get to tell Harry that breakfast is ready."
Jane said, "Hopefully he's still as cheerful as he was last night."
"I knew a change of scenery would do him good."
"Maybe so. I'll be back." Jane headed out of the kitchen, down the hallway and over to Harry's room. She knocked on Harry's door and listened for a response. 'He's either asleep or ignoring me. Great, he's back to his usual self.' She knocked again harder then waited several seconds before reaching down and opening the door. "Harry..." She trailed off as she saw a very odd scene before her. Harry was sitting on his bed in a plain black t-shirt and his boxers talking to a bushy haired girl dressed in a sheer red and gold silk cheerleading outfit. "What the hell?"
Hermione turned to look at the door she had apparently forgotten to lock, "Crap..."
Jane blinked a couple of times as she realized that the cute nearly naked bushy haired girl looked a heck of a lot like she did. If the other girl that looked suspiciously like her wasn't wearing see-through clothes and she hadn't just seen Tonks she would have wondered if they were playing some type of prank on her. "What's going on Harry?"
Harry asked, "How come you didn't knock?"
Jane said, "I did."
Hermione sighed, "I silenced the room so that no one would hear us. I figured you'd locked it last night."
Harry said, "Oh right, sorry I crashed pretty hard last night... Hermione Jane Granger meet, Jane..."
Jane frowned, "Jane Hermione Granger. Why do you look like me?"
Hermione asked, "I don't suppose we could convince you that you're having a weird dream?"
Jane shook her head, "No. I've been up for a while organizing my room and I just saw Tonks and I can't really see her wearing a cute see-through outfit like that just for a prank."
"Rats. Would you buy that I'm your long lost twin?"
Jane laughed, "I think I would have heard something about that before. If I hadn't packed Harry's stuff I would swear that he smuggled in some polyjuice and..." She blushed as she looked at Harry.
Harry scowled, "I wouldn't do that to you..." He blushed and mumbled, "Even if you're the girl I'd want a girl to look like."
Hermione laughed, "Nope, this is my natural look."
Jane said, "In that case spill."
Harry sighed, "I suck at having a secret identity."
Hermione snorted, "Long story made short, some crazy version of Harry is tossing my Harry through various worlds into different bodies."
Jane asked, "Your Harry?"
"Yep."
Jane frowned as she realized that their crazy theory made slightly more sense than her Harry suddenly not being whiny about his lost wand or Cedric's death. It would also explain why he was trying to use obliviate as a cover yet he still knew things that only Harry should. That and she really couldn't see her Harry not freaking out about the nearly naked girl in his room. "Not saying that I quite believe you but how is the other Harry doing it?"
"No idea other than my Harry gets tossed into the local Harry every time we end up in a new world."
Jane looked at Harry, "What happens when you leave?"
Hermione said, "The local 'Harrys' gets some extra memories and continues on with their life or at least that's what I'm assuming happens. That's what happened with Alex who was the last world's Harry."
"You swap names?"
Harry sighed, "Her actual name was Alexandra Lily Potter..."
Jane asked, "Was she The Girl That Lived?"
Harry sighed, "Yeah..."
Jane asked, "This isn't a joke is it?"
Harry said, "No..."
"The whole obliviate thing?"
"Was just to cover for the fact that I don't have my counterpart's memories."
Jane said, "I hate to say this but how do I know you're not crazy."
Harry pointed to Hermione, "Besides her?"
Jane said, "She could be a witch using some charm or something on you."
Harry said, "I have a couple of copies of my father's invisibility cloak, I've got a copy of Dumbledore's wand and I know spells that your Harry probably doesn't. I might even know a couple of spells that don't exist here. That and Hermione can collect some people from the library."
Jane's eyes lit up in excitement, "Library?"
Harry laughed as Jane's face lit up with the same expression he recalled on his best friend's face every time she talked about a new book. "Food first then we can explain this whole mess to Sirius." He grabbed a pair of shorts and pulled them on.
"That sounds like a good idea." Jane wasn't sure if she was hoping that it was all some type of weird prank or not. Either way the eye candy was nice.
Tonks blinked as she saw Harry, Jane and a nearly naked copy of Jane walk into the kitchen, "Okay, what's with the doppelganger and where do I get one of a slightly older Harry?"
Harry blushed, "Hey."
Tonks smirked, "What? I haven't gotten any action in years."
Harry asked, "So you and Remus?"
"I tried, he wasn't interested." She smirked at him, "So I moved on."
Sirius asked, "Why do we have a duplicate Jane?"
Hermione said, "I'm not sure you'll believe us, we have some proof and we're willing to drink veritaserum. That said, we're not from this world, we're from another world where Harry didn't have his wand snapped and things played out very differently."
Sirius looked at Harry, "Where did you find someone that would drink polyjuice? Better yet, why? I mean it's a fine joke but inviting some stranger into our home..."
Harry said, "She's not joking and I can probably prove it." Harry flame teleported over to the stove and stirred the eggs before they burned.
Sirius pulled his gaze off of Hermione and spun to look at where he could see Harry out of the corner of his eyes, "How the hell did you do that?"
Harry said, "As I said, I'm from another world."
"I've got to say the flame teleporting is rather impressive but you could be some type of strange American magical being. They've got enough strange things over here to make the Quibbler seem sane."
Harry said, "I've got access to three copies of dad's invisibility cloak, the one from here, the one from an evil Harry and I can borrow Alex's. James's cloak was basically one of a kind. I've got three Marauder's maps, something I suspect would be a problem for most people to duplicate."
Hermione said, "And I've got a library filled with books that probably don't exist in this world."
Jane said, "She said she had a library with people in it."
Hermione said, "Some of our friends came with us when we jumped the last time."
Tonks frowned, "I've got some truth potion in my work kit, it's not veritaserum but it does keep you from lying. It doesn't make you tell the truth but I don't know of any cases where someone has managed to lie either. It's a lot easier to get people to drink it than veritaserum." She smirked, "Are you willing to drink it?"
Hermione asked, "Are you willing to take some yourself to prove that it's safe?"
Tonks laughed, "Yes."
Harry asked, "Hang on, if this unbeatable truth potion exists how come they didn't let the other me drink it for the trial?"
Tonks said, "Two reasons, if you alter someone's memories, they can say what they believe happened. The second reason is that Fudge wouldn't allow it. He was trying to railroad Harry."
Sirius said, "Having him testify under the effects of a truth potion would have sunk his plan to discredit Harry."
Tonks said, "Thus he banned it's use in Harry's case."
Harry asked, "How?"
"By convincing the jury that Dumbledore had a way around the potion and would have given Harry an antidote. An antidote that as far as I know doesn't exist."
Sirius shrugged, "To be fair, Fudge might actually have a valid point about Dumbledore having an antidote."
Harry sighed, "True."
Sirius said, "Let's have some breakfast then we'll play 101 questions and you can tell us your story."
Harry said, "And grab the girls, they've been cooped up in there too long."
Hermione said, "Agreed."
Sirius finished listening to the rest of Harry and Alex's tale then looked between Alex, Hermione, Puck, Ginny and Harry, "Welcome to the madhouse."
Harry asked, "That's it?"
Sirius said, "I trust the truth potion to a certain point, I haven't seen any of you drink anything other than the water I provided for an hour, your wand is a match for Dumbledore's wand, Alex's wand is a match for Harry's old wand, your invisibility cloaks are exactly the same. You know things that no one else living should know. The memories you provided don't show signs of tampering. You've got abilities that I didn't even know were possible to have. In short, if you're lying then there isn't much I can do about it. Besides, you're still a Harry and honestly it sounds like you need a vacation even more than the other Harry."
Jane asked, "Don't take this the wrong way Harry but how do we get our Harry back and keep you?"
Hermione said, "One we complete our tasks, Harry and I will jump worlds. Anyone in our library when we jump worlds comes with us. As for getting both of them out at the same time, we might be able to transfer Harry to a duplicate Harry or something. Then again we might not." She looked at Alex, "Any ideas?"
Alex said, "We might be able to create something that allows us to talk to the other Harry. Maybe we can duplicate or split him in half. We've got options but I'd want to do a great deal of research before we start trying things like that."
Alex looked at Ginny, "You've been sort of quiet."
Ginny said, "I don't have much to say, my education before Hogwarts wasn't the best. I learned to read, I learned basic math and that's about it. The idea of going to a muggle school scares me a little. Not so much the people but the subjects."
Sirius said, "I think you'll be fine as a freshman. If you're anything like this world's Ginny then you're smart and stubborn enough to pull it off."
Alex said, "I'll help you as much as you need with the homework and we can nick a couple of Time Turners from Hermione's stash if we have to so that we have more time to fit everything in."
Harry said, "I think it will be a nice change from Hogwarts. Besides, it's not like we actually need the degree, it's more for the social experience and to meet friends."
Jane said, "Besides, we've got a couple of weeks before we have to worry about school."
Tonks said, "I'd like to go over some of the magic lessons but that shouldn't take up too much of our evenings. I want to visit the beach and enjoy the sun as much you."
Sirius laughed, "I bet Luna, Ariel and Gabrielle would like to go to the beach."
Hermione frowned, "We can probably find a nice out of the way section that Ariel can enjoy. She's still a bit skittish around strangers."
Sirius said, "I don't blame her, that world sounds rather barbaric."
Jane said, "We're going to need to go shopping for swimming clothes."
Harry sighed, "I knew shopping was going to be in there somewhere."
Hermione asked, "Is there a place where we can exchange galleons?"
Sirius said, "A couple of the larger cities have places that will exchange them. My contact said that we're better off just selling them as gold, the return is a hell of a lot better."
"Is that even legal?"
"It is over here. The American wizards really don't care for the British wizards much and they have a kill on sight relationship with goblins ever since the California Gold rush a hundred and fifty or so years ago."
Harry asked, "Then how did you transfer the stuff in your vault?"
Sirius said, "A disguise and expansion charms on a couple dozen bags."
Harry said, "As interesting as this is, let's hit some of the local sites. I want to get a feel for the town."
Sirius looked at Tonks, "Do you want to help clean or do you want to go with the kids?"
Tonks said, "I think I'll go with Harry and the girls. Someone has to make sure they don't get in trouble."
Sirius looked at Jane, "You'll keep them out of trouble right?"
Jane laughed, "I'll try."
Tonks stuck her tongue out at Sirius.
Harry smiled as he realized that Tonks was actually only a few years older than he was mentally.
Xander smirked as he looked at the cute red haired girl wearing a rather cute white bikini with red hearts on it that was waiting in the line to buy ice cream from the ice cream truck. "I love summer."
Willow found herself staring at the girl's perfect skin and long red hair that came down to the middle of her back. Great, yet another girl for Xander to drool over that isn't me. "That whole no homework thing and all."
Xander said, "Exactly. Do you want to get some ice cream?"
Willow almost said no but it was ice cream and it was hot out. Besides, it was sort of fun watching Xander crash and burn, it reminded her of Jessie's attempts to get Cordelia to notice him. "Sure."
Alex turned to look at the people walking up behind her and noticed that they both had magic potential. I'm just glad that I still have Harry's weird magical abilities. "Hi."
Xander eyes nearly popped out of his head as he realized that the girl in front of him made Buffy look like a leper.
Willow blinked as she realized that didn't recognize the girl. With the girl's admittedly amazing looks and long red hair she was sure that she would have recognized the girl if she had ever seen her before. "Are you new?"
Alex smiled as Willow, "Yeah, I flew in last night with some friends."
Xander had to force himself to pull his gaze off of the girl's very impressive breasts, that her white bikini did very little to hide and back up to her gorgeous face, "You're British? What... what brings you to our neck of the woods?"
Alex said, "Guilty as charged for being British. As for what brings us here, School."
"Here?"
Alex laughed, "It seems like a nice quiet town. A friend of the family was going here and I decided to tag along. It seemed a lot more fun than a stuffy English boarding school."
Xander snorted, "Right, I mean that's us, all with the quiet little sleepy town."
Alex looked back at the ice cream truck and took another step closer before she turned to look at the other teens, "I'm Alex by the way."
Xander said, "Xander, short for Alexander."
"Cool, mine is short for Alexandra, Alexandra Potter."
Willow said, "I'm Willow Rosenberg."
Alex smiled, "Pleased to meet you both. Do you know anything fun to do around here other than hang around the beach?"
Xander said, "There's the Bronze."
"What's that?"
Willow said, "It's a local club."
"Sounds worth a visit. Just a second." She turned to look at the guy selling ice cream cones, "Ten ice cream sandwiches please." She handed him a twenty.
The guy smiled as he took her money and handed her the ice cream sandwiches and change. "There you go."
Alex asked, "I don't suppose you have a bag?"
He shook his head, "Sorry."
Alex looked at Willow, "I don't suppose I could bribe you into helping me carry the ice cream bars back to my friends for a couple of ice cream bars?" Sure she could probably do it herself without resorting to levitating them but she wanted a chance to make some new friends.
Xander said, "Sure." Free ice cream was free ice cream. Not that he wouldn't have helped the extremely hot girl for free.
Willow asked, "How far?"
Alex said, "Just over to the beach."
"Okay." She figured there were enough people around that Alex wouldn't try anything even if she was a demon.
Alex gave the man the proper change and collected two more ice cream bars. "Thanks." She smirked as she gave Willow half of the bars. "Thanks for the help."
Willow smiled hesitantly, "You're welcome."
Willow was a bit relieved to see the children making sandcastles and otherwise having a good time as that decreased the chances of Alex being a demon that wanted to eat her and Xander. "Hi..."
Alex said, "They didn't have a bag so I had to recruit some help."
Harry laughed, "So I see." He looked at Xander and Willow, "You're welcome to have a seat, there is plenty of space for everyone."
Jane smiled at Xander and moved over so that he could sit next to her. "Have a seat."
Xander wasted no time in taking a seat. "Thanks."
Alex smiled as she passed out the ice cream bars to Tonks, Luna, Ginny, Gabrielle and Ariel who were making sandcastles near the water.
Willow passed the ice cream bars she was carrying out to the rest of the people then took a seat on the edge of the blanket they were sitting on and opened her ice cream bar. "Okay."
Alex walked back over the six or so feet from where the girls were working on their sandcastles and where they had spread out an old blanket so they weren't sitting directly on the hot sand. "This is my brother Harry. The girls that look alike are the Granger clan. The cute red haired girl by the water is my girlfriend and the older blond girl is Luna. The younger blond is Gabrielle and the woman with purple hair is Tonks."
Tonks waved, "Hi."
Hermione said, "I'm Hermione."
Jane said, "I'm Jane, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Puck said, "I'm Puck and my sister over by the water is Ariel, she's a bit shy."
Ariel waved hesitantly then went back to working on her sandcastle.
Willow said, "I'm Willow and this is Xander."
Harry opened his ice cream bar, "Cool."
Alex said, "Xander was just telling me about the local nightclub."
"Oh?"
Xander said, "It's not bad, it's the coolest place in Sunnydale, not that that says much."
Harry said, "What can you tell us about the school?"
Willow said, "It's not too bad. The librarian and the computer teacher are nice."
Harry laughed, "That will be a nice change, the librarian at our old school was a scary old bat."
Hermione frowned, "She wasn't... okay so maybe she was that bad."
Xander asked, "How so?"
Harry said, "She liked books more than people and seemed to hate students though that's nothing compared to the school's caretaker that wanted to bring back the rack dealing with misbehaving children."
Willow stared at Harry, "Are you joking?"
Jane said, "I don't think the headmaster would actually have let him do it but yeah he was a bit deranged. The librarian wasn't much help for helping you find stuff either."
Xander said, "We have a troll for a principal."
Puck asked, "Really? Aren't they sort of dumb?"
Willow chuckled, "He's joking, he just acts like a mean old troll."
Puck pouted, "Ah, that's slightly less fun."
Xander asked, "What grades are you going to be in?"
Hermione said, "I'll be a junior, Harry and Jane are sophomores, Ginny is a freshman and Puck and Luna are going into middle school. Gabrielle and Ariel will probably get home schooled for a while."
Tonks said, "That's the plan at least." It didn't seem like a good idea to stick Gabrielle or Ariel in with normal students until they had better control of their magic.
Xander looked at the purple haired woman that looked in her early twenties, "What did you do before?"
"I was a cop."
"Oh..."
She laughed, "Don't worry, I'm retired."
Willow asked, "Aren't you a little young to retire?"
"My family is fairly well off, my cousin needed help keeping track of this lot and well, California weather is a lot more pleasant than the weather in England."
Willow nodded, "I can see where that might be the case."
Xander looked at Harry, "Favorite video game?"
Harry sighed, "We weren't allowed to bring games to school and my aunt and uncle didn't allow me to play video games so I'm afraid that I'm a bit behind on my videogame knowledge."
Alex said, "Yet another thing that we need to fix."
Tonks said, "I'm sure there's a computer store around here somewhere."
Willow said, "Yep, the closest is only a couple of blocks away, their components are fine but the guy that puts the computers together is an idiot."
Xander smirked, "Willow knows a lot about computers."
Alex said, "Awesome."
Willow asked, "Really?"
"Yep, a friend of mine had a computer when I was younger. We used to play video games a bit. I don't suppose you know anyone that plays paper RPGs do you?"
Xander stared at Alex, "You're a geek?"
Alex smirked, "Guilty as charged. Not what you were expecting?"
Xander's gaze dropped down to Alex's breasts before he pulled them back up to her face. "Not really..."
Harry said, "She's sneaky like that."
Ginny laughed, "She also does martial arts."
Xander smiled goofily as he pictured her doing some crazy Buffy style moves in her bikini. "That's cool."
Willow said, "That sounds fun, sadly all of the places around here are expensive and need parental permission."
Xander said, "Yeah..." He was fairly screwed on both accounts. His parents wouldn't sign off on it and he couldn't afford it even if they would sign off on it. It sure as hell would have made things easier on patrol.
Willow decided to change the subject, "So what type of games do you play?"
It didn't take long before Harry was completely lost as Alex, Willow, Xander and surprisingly enough Jane and Hermione discussed their various computer game experiences. He was just glad that they were meeting some new people as he had a feeling that it would make fitting in at school easier. That and some of the games actually sounded like fun.
Sirius turned to look at Harry and the group of giggling girls as they entered the living room. "How did it go?"
Tonks said, "It was fun, there were plenty of cute guys on the beach."
Harry said, "It was rather relaxing, we met some interesting people and got a girl's phone number."
Sirius smirked, "Excellent."
Ginny said, "She was kind of cute."
Alex pulled Ginny into a one armed hug, "Do I have to keep you on a leash?"
Ginny smirked, "Maybe."
Puck looked at Hermione and asked, "If she gets a leash can I have one?"
Hermione said, "I'm fairly sure they were joking."
"Rats."
Luna said, "Let's get Gabrielle and Ariel a bath then tuck them in for their naps."
Tonks said, "That's actually a good idea. To the bathrooms."
Harry snickered as Puck, Luna and Tonks left with Gabrielle and Ariel. "I can suddenly see why they didn't want her as a prefect."
Alex snickered, "Yep."
Sirius asked, "Dinner should be here shortly."
Hermione asked, "Takeout?"
"It was easier than cooking."
Hermione said, "I'm surprised that Dobby let you get away with that."
"He's still cleaning."
"I do hope you're not working him too hard."
Sirius smiled, "Nope. I have a long list of chores for him to do. A third of them are things like relax and watch television for education or to take a break for fifteen minutes."
Ginny said, "Sneaky."
"I try. Besides, I actually like Dobby unlike Kreacher."
Harry asked, "What did you do with this world's Kreacher?"
Sirius said, "Andromeda put him to work. She's welcome to keep him for a while if it works out, if not then I'll figure out something else to do with him. Any plans after dinner?"
Alex said, "We're planning on hitting the local club with Willow and Xander after dinner."
Sirius said, "Try to be safe."
Harry said, "We've got our wands."
"That's all we can ask." He looked at Hermione, "Can I talk you into grabbing another box of books from your library?"
"Sure, are you looking for anything in particular?"
"Home repair and wards, the Americans suggested a couple of wards but I'd like more than the basics and it's been a while since I looked at them in any depth. I also want to change a couple of things and expand the place without horrible things happening."
"Sure." Hermione shifted to the library. She didn't have a problem putting at least some of duplicate books in the library so the others could read them easier.
Sirius said, "We should probably go over the house rules."
Harry sighed, "Great."
"No killing or maiming anyone that lives here." He looked at Jane, "No entering other people's bedrooms without permission, no complaining if someone stares because you're not wearing clothes or you're wearing or doing something silly. On that note, if you make a mess, clean it up. Dark magic must be approved and no inviting anyone inside. If they can't walk over the threshold themselves than they're not welcome. On a serious note, I'd like to make some communication mirrors for everyone to keep with them. This is a dangerous town and I don't want any of you hurt." He looked at Jane, "The munchkins don't go anywhere without one of us. Maybe we can relax that restriction when we get a better idea of just how dangerous the town is but I suspect that we'll probably be more worried rather than less." He looked around, "Does anyone else have a rule they want to add?"
Jane said, "Other than common sense about respecting people's stuff, I think that covers it."
Harry said, "We can always add to the list later."
Ginny said, "Not so much a rule as a request for at least one shower room like at the dorms."
Sirius said, "I'm sure that Tonks and I can figure something out. Tonks and I were talking about turning the indoor garden area into an indoor pool and garden area. Attaching a shower room between there and outside would make sense especially if we're going to be running around getting dirty killing monsters."
Harry asked, "What makes you think we're going to have to kill any monsters?"
Sirius said, "Just a feeling."
Harry sighed, "You're probably right."
Hermione reappeared in her sheer cheerleading outfit carrying a stack of books. "Here." She set the stack on the table.
Harry said, "I love your outfit."
Hermione looked at Sirius, "How much time do we have until the food gets here?"
Sirius said, "If they're not here in five then our pizza is free."
Alex chuckled as the buzzer for the front gate of the mansion went off. "Perfect timing."
Sirius chuckled as he grabbed the money for the pizza then headed out to pay the delivery guy.
Hermione asked, "What did I miss?"
Harry said, "Sirius pointed out the rules for the house, no inviting people in, they can come in or they can't and no going into other people's rooms without permission." He looked at Jane and smirked.
Jane sighed, "It was once and it could have been worse."
"It worked out."
Alex said, "No dark magic without approval and he's going to make some mirrors so that we can keep in touch."
Harry said, "We should probably look into miniaturizing them. Maybe work a small mirror into a bracelet or something."
Ginny said, "That might be less suspicious than Harry walking around with a mirror everywhere. It would also be easier to keep with us."
Alex said, "That and that if you're wearing weird clothing around the house we have every right to laugh at you."
Hermione stuck her tongue out at Alex.
Alex said, "Promises, promises."
Sirius walked back in with the pizza.
Hermione gave the pizzas a glare, "That reminds me of a rule, no food near my books."
Harry said, "Wouldn't dream of it pumpkin."
Sirius laughed, "So tell me about your new friends."
Alex said, "Willow's a smart computer nerd with magic potential and Xander's a bit of a clown but they both seem nice."
Hermione stared at Alex, "She's got magic potential?"
Alex said, "They both do."
Harry said, "I noticed. I don't think they actually know that they have it. I don't get the sense that they've done much with it."
Sirius frowned as he set the pizza boxes down on the table, "Are you sure?"
Harry shrugged, "Not one hundred percent but it didn't look like it. They didn't look quite the same as a wizard or witches' magic either. High potential but not a lot of magic in them, it was weird."
Sirius said, "America has a fair number of minor earth witches, the British ministry classifies them as hags and ignores them for the most part."
Alex frowned, "That's not very nice and Willow and Xander are cute."
Ginny said, "Yep."
Sirius opened the pizzas and took a slice, "I think we've already established that the British Ministry is rather stupid."
Alex laughed as she grabbed a piece of pizza, "True."
Hermione said, "We should probably grab the girls."
Harry said, "Go for it, we'll save you some pizza."
"You better." She smiled as she headed off to collect the girls.
Jane stopped dead in the street half a block from the club as she saw a figure that she recognized from one of her books on vampires, "Angelus... shit we need to kill him, quickly."
Alex stared at the black rolling miasma of dark energy that surrounded and mixed with the dark energy that made him a vampire. She glanced around to see how many people were watching. 'No one is looking that closely.' She brought her wand up, pointed it at the vampire that had turned to face them and whispered, "Incendio."
Angel screamed in agony as he caught fire. Thankfully or not the pain only lasted the two seconds it took him to turn to dust.
Harry said, "Who was Angelus? He had some seriously dark magic wrapped around him."
Jane said, "The worst of the worst. Him and three others terrorized Europe for years. Spike, Darla and Drusilla."
Ginny asked, "Spike?"
"William the Bloody, also called Spike because of his tendency to drive railroad spikes through people."
Alex said, "That's sick and twisted."
Hermione frowned, "I don't remember reading about them. In my world, vampires drank blood but they weren't completely evil either..."
Jane shook her head, "Vampires are evil in this world. They tend to avoid wizards but they're evil soulless monsters, make no mistake."
Harry said, "We're going to have to go monster hunting later to see how many of them there are."
Jane said, "I looked up a couple of charms that vampire hunters use to deal with them."
Ginny asked, "Like what?"
"A charm that masks your scent while it's active and a couple of sunlight charms that should help against a pack of them. There are also a couple of detection charms though point me vampire works rather well."
Harry frowned, "You're telling me it's that easy?"
Jane said, "Yep, vampires are really flammable. The only reason that we haven't hunted them to extinction is that they tend to stay away from wizards and they breed like rabbits."
Alex said, "We're going to have to fix that."
Hermione said, "We can worry about that later, let's just have some fun with Willow and Xander."
Alex asked, "Do you think we can talk them into starting some role playing games."
Ginny snickered, "Kinky."
"You know what I mean." Alex stuck her tongue out at Ginny.
Jane said, "Probably, they seemed interested and it would give us the chance to get to know them." She started walking toward the Bronze again.
Xander was still a little surprised when he actually saw Alex, Harry, Hermione, Jane and Ginny walk over to their table. While he liked the girls in bikinis he wasn't going to complain about shorts and t-shirts especially when he was fairly sure that Jane, Ginny and Alex weren't wearing bras. "You came."
Willow said, "Please sit down."
Jane grinned as she took a seat next to Willow, "Thanks."
Harry took a seat next to Jane so that Hermione could sit next to him and Alex which meant that Ginny was next to Alex and right across from Xander.
Xander winced as he saw Harmony heading over toward their table with a couple of her airhead friends, "Crap, Harmony."
Harmony smirked as she stopped in front on Willow and Xander's table, "What are a couple of good looking girls doing with the losers?"
Several of her minions snickered.
Alex looked at Harry and asked, "Can I take this one? She reminds me way too much of a couple of snakes from school."
Harry laughed, "Go for it."
Alex looked at Harmony, "Not that it's any of your business but we're having fun, talking about computers and making friends but you wouldn't know anything about that would you?" She smirked as she stood up and walked close to the shorter girl. She let her gaze walk down Harmony's body, her clothes and purse then jump to Harmony's minions. 'Designer's labels and no real style, probably more money than brains or taste.' She said, "Correct me if I'm wrong, you're the daughter of a spoiled rich bitch trophy wife that spread her legs to land a husband with more money than brains. Your claims to fame, if you can call them that, are your daddy's money, your bitchy personality and your looks which are a long ways from noteworthy in my book but some people just have low standards."
Harmony stared at Alex in shock, "You... you."
Alex rolled her eyes, "Take your hand, close your mouth and run away like the vapid spoiled bitch you are."
Xander watched Harmony and her minions retreat with a red faced Harmony. "You're my new hero."
Willow said, "She's just going to get even when Cordelia gets back." She was still glad that someone had finally stood up to Harmony and her friends.
Alex shrugged, "Backing down wasn't going to help and I refuse to run scared from one stupid teenage girl." She walked back over to her seat and sat down. "So where were we?"
Jane said, "I believe we were ordering some hot chocolates for everyone and plotting world domination."
Willow blinked, "What?"
"The last game we discussed at the beach was Dungeon Keeper, you're the evil overlord trying to take over the world."
Willow blushed, "Oh right, sorry."
Hermione said, "I'd rather be a hero."
Jane said, "Are there any tabletop groups around or are we going to have to start one?"
Xander said, "I know someone else that might be interested."
Willow said, "I've got a couple of books."
Alex said, "Excellent."
Harry said, "I'll leave you to plot, I'm going to order some hot chocolate. Does anyone else want anything? My treat."
Xander said, "Soda?"
"Coke?"
"That works."
Harry looked at Willow, "What about you?"
Willow smiled, "Hot chocolate."
Alex said, "Hot chocolate sounds good."
Ginny nodded, "Yes."
Jane gave Harry a thumbs up.
Hermione said, "Hot chocolate."
Harry said, "Cool. Six hot chocolates and a soda. Be back in a minute."
Willow watched Harry leave, "He's nice."
Hermione said, "He tries."
Ginny turned to look at Alex as a song came over the radio, "Let's leave these guys to pick the game, I want to dance with my girl."
Alex asked, "You don't mind do you?"
Xander's eyes widened as he realized that Alex and Ginny were a couple, "Oh, no it's cool."
Ginny grinned as she stood up and held out her hand for Alex. "Ready?"
Alex stood up and took Ginny's hand, "Lead the way."
Xander watched the girls move onto the dance floor and start dancing and occasionally stealing kisses with each other. "Huh, not what I was expecting."
Willow asked, "How do the rest of you fit together?"
Jane said, "I have to share Harry with my evil older sister." She figured that was probably as warped as they wanted to admit to right now before they got to know them better. She didn't want to freak them out by seriously hitting on them, at least not before she figured out if they were single.
Hermione smiled, "That would be me."
Xander pulled his attention away from Alex and Ginny with difficulty and looked back at Hermione and Jane. He had to work no to say lucky bastard or something like it. "Isn't that a bit weird?"
Hermione shrugged, "We're trying to make it work."
Jane said, "Now that you've asked an awkward question, it's my turn. "Are you seeing anyone?"
Xander shook his head, "Sadly no."
Willow shook her head, "Nope."
Jane winked at Willow, "If my sister manages to steal Harry, will you go out with me?"
Hermione rubbed her face, "Little sisters are evil and embarrassing."
Willow blushed, "I'm not..." She trailed off as she though about her collection of comic book heroines that she thought were attractive and the actresses that made her feel warm and tingly. Jane and Hermione were certainly gorgeous, She babbled, "I've never been on a date."
Jane said, "Don't worry, I'll help."
Xander pinched himself, "Ouch, I guess I'm awake..."
Jane said, "So where do you want to go on our date?"
Harry walked back with a can of coke and set it in front of Xander, "Here you go..." He looked around the table, everyone was blushing, "What's up?"
Xander said, "Your girlfriend asked Willow out and she accepted."
Willow blushed harder, "It's a social experiment... dinner and a movie, some hand holding maybe a kiss, she bet me a gold coin that I'd enjoy myself..."
Jane said, "She's cute." She glanced over at Alex and Ginny then back at Willow, "Do you want to dance?"
Willow gulped, "Like in front of people?"
"Sure." Jane stood up and held out her hands and pouted, "Please don't make me dance alone, it's not pretty."
Willow thought about the gold coin in her pocket and about her promise to give the experience a fair shake. 'This is more than a bit outside of my comfort zone but if I can fight vampires I can dance with a girl.' Willow took a breath then let it out, "Okay."
Xander watched Willow and Jane walked to the dance floor then he turned back to look at Harry and whispered, "Please tell me this isn't some twisted joke." He was really hoping it wasn't a joke as they seemed really cool so far but the idea that a drop dead gorgeous girl was interested in Willow sort of blew his mind.
Harry shook his head, "It's not. She talked about how cute she thinks both of you are on the way home."
Xander blinked as his mind sort of ground to a halt, "Both?"
"Yep. I don't see it, I mean Willow is attractive but you? Sorry not seeing it." He smirked.
Xander laughed, "Good thing really, not that there is anything wrong with that but yeah good thing. Still, both?"
Hermione shrugged, "I think she was dropped as a child or maybe she's just enjoying being away from our old boarding school."
Xander wiped the top on the soda can on his shirt then popped it open and took a drink.
Harry said, "How long have you known Willow?"
Xander said, "Kindergarten. What about you?"
Hermione said, "It feels like forever but it's only been seven years and some change."
"Cool, what was your old school like?"
Harry said, "Hogwarts was sort of crazy and some of the teachers were crazy but it was home."
Xander asked, "How was it crazy?"
Hermione said, "For starters, Harry played this game with large iron balls, where the players ran around tossing them at people while other people tried to toss a leather ball through nets that people tried to guard."
Xander stared at Hermione, "Now I know you're joking."
Hermione sighed, "Sadly we're not. I don't think they play it over here."
Harry frowned as he realized that the game really was rather insane when you stopped to think about it especially if you couldn't explain the nurse being able to mend broken bones with a wave of her wand.
Alex sighed as her and Ginny followed a vampire and victim out of the Bronze. It was nice being able to see the dark magic that animated vampires, "Is this the way to the bathroom?"
The vampire turned and smirked at the two extra snacks, "Delicious, I'm going to enjoy turning you."
Alex drew her wand, "I don't think so."
The vampire looked at her in confusion, "That's a thin stake slayer. I thought you were shorter."
She pointed it at the vampire and whispered, "Incendio."
The drunk female victim shrieked as her date caught fire and turned to ashes.
Alex hit the girl with a confusion charm, "Relax, the punk took off when you vomited on him. You'll just have to call a friend."
The young woman stumbled back into the club to hopefully call a friend or a cab rather than trust a stranger.
Ginny said, "Vomited on him?"
Alex said, "Hopefully it convinces her not to drink so much next time. Let's get back, our hot chocolate should be here by now."
"Sounds good."
Tonks looked up at the ceiling over her bed as she tried not to twitch too much from the attention the girls were paying her breasts, "You're a bad influence."
Puck finished licking Tonks's right breast like an ice cream cone and looked at Tonks's face with a smirk as she reached down with her hand and lightly brushed Tonks' crotch, "If we're such horrible influences then you should tell us to leave."
Luna stopped licking Tonks's left breast long enough to giggle before she went back to running her tongue over Tonks's smooth skin as she made her way toward her nipple.
Tonks said, "Please don't stop."
Puck smiled as she slipped her index finger inside of Tonks. "How many fingers do you want inside of you?" She slipped her finger out then back in as she waited for Tonks to respond.
Tonks shivered in pleasure, "All of them, one at a time." She wouldn't have suggested that if she wasn't a metamorphmagus and if Puck's hand wasn't relatively small but as it was it wasn't harmful or painful just a bit kinky and fun.
Puck smiled as she slipped two fingers inside of Tonks then slid them out and back in a couple of times before moving to three fingers than four then her whole hand after she had given Tonks a chance to get used to it. "You're the best babysitter ever."
Luna reached up with her free hand to play with Tonks's right breast while she ran her tongue over her left nipple.
Sirius stared at the ceiling in his room as he listed to Tonks's screams, 'I might have to add silencing charms to the required list, nah.'
