05:15:18, London, United Kingdom, 4 Hours Ago, after almost 6 hours of explaining the impossibility of totally evacuating all of London before 06:00 to the British Government, Alpha Team ft. Red Coat decided to disobey their recently given order to cut their losses and abandon the city and its people. Even though most of the elected officials and military COs revealed that they found them along with Pixiedust too valuable to lose.

Maj. Clyde 'Red Coat' Winters

British S.B.S., British S.A.S.

London, United Kingdom

--

Pixiedust: Orders, Baseplate?

Colonel MacMillan: We've waited and argued for long enough. We are going to Bravo Papa and aborting that nuclear strike.

Red Coat: Thank you, sir.

Alpha Team: Thank you, sir.

Pixiedust: Thank you, Wallace. Even though I know you'll never let anyone down.

Colonel MacMillan: Never, Laurie. Gotta go to work, over. I'll keep us up, Red Coat. You take aim and fire away.

Red Coat: Roger.

Cypher: Ready Miniguns and gear up! Bravo Papa will be the most dangerous hot zone in the city!

The bad news started right away as the task force the higher-ups assembled to retake Bravo Papa was long dead. All thanks to the British Government stalling Red Coat, Colonel MacMillan, Cypher, Gaz, Ridley, Wallcroft, Griffen and Burns because they wanted to choose the easier and faster way of nuking London instead.

So, as they obliterated the front lines, Pixiedust tried to get every combat effective British Army element to come over and lend a hand.

[Minigun fire]

[Hydra 70s launch]

[explosions]

Gaz: There's the government's task force! They're K.I.A.!

Colonel MacMillan: Copy! Red Coat, give us an LZ fast! Alpha 6 to Pixiedust, the government task force is K.I.A.! Call it in, over!

Pixiedust: Understood. Any and all combat effective friendlies on this net, this is Pixiedust. The blinding lights you're looking at is the last stronghold Russia has here. While London may be in a blackout, there's still power in Buckingham Palace. That means we still have a way to abort our government's incoming nuclear strike if we can retake it. A British Special Forces unit in a gunship is already there, but they ARE gonna need your help. So retake Buckingham Palace if you want to survive. May God be with you. Pixiedust, out.

5 minutes of close air strikes later, Alpha Team ft. Red Coat landed on Buckingham Palace's front courtyard and got in through the main entrance since all other entry points had collapsed. Inside, they immediately picked up an unsettling looped transmission from the PA (Public-Address) system.

[doors open]

Red Coat: Clear left!

Ridley: Clear right!

Falcon 1: This is Falcon 1 to all friendly units in London. Nuclear strike is in effect. I say again, nuclear strike is in effect. If you are receiving this transmission, you are in a hardened high value structure. Deploy red flares on the roof of this structure to indicate you are still combat effective. We will abort our mission on direct visual contact with this countersign.

Colonel MacMillan: Gaz, clear this barricade. Gaz!

Gaz: Colonel, are you hearing this?

Colonel MacMillan: That explains the urgency! Now clear this barricade!

Gaz: On it. *clears barricade fast*

Red Coat: Contact!

[TR-1 Ultralight fire]

[C8 SFW fire]

The higher-ups sitting comfortably outside the war zone then decided to go full dickhead by pushing the nuclear strike's deployment time ahead of schedule. All while Red Coat, Colonel MacMillan, Cypher, Gaz, Ridley, Wallcroft, Griffen and Burns continued to fight the last of the Russians in the United Kingdom alone.

Burns: I've been checking our six! We are still all alone in this fight!

Ridley: Well, this is a very slim chance to stop a government sponsored nuclear bomb! Can you really blame them for running instead?!

Red Coat: First deck, clear!

Falcon 1: 2 minutes to weapons release.

Wallcroft: Horseshit, 2 minutes! It's still nowhere near 06:00!

Colonel MacMillan: Fucking government's bumped up the deployment time! We got less than two minutes to get to the roof and stop them! Push through!

After cleaning up the first floor and finding an intact staircase, Alpha Team ft. Red Coat advanced to the second level and worked faster.

Colonel MacMillan: Everything you've got!

[Flash Grenade detonation]

[G28 fire]

[G36KV fire]

[C7A2 fire]

[TR-1 Ultralight fire]

[P226 MK25 fire]

Red Coat: Second deck, clear!

Cypher: 90 seconds! Up the third floor!

Third deck.

Red Coat: Third deck, clear!

Gaz: One minute! Fourth floor! Go! Go!

Fourth floor and the roof.

[Five-seveN USG fire]

[Commando Dagger hit]

[C7A2 fire]

[TR-1 Ultralight fire]

[P226 MK25 fire]

[S.A.S. Dagger hit]

Red Coat: Clear up! Let's go!

Falcon 1: 30 seconds to weapons release.

Colonel MacMillan: 30 seconds! We gotta get to the roof now! Go! Go! Get to the roof! Move!

Griffen: Igniting flares!

Red Coat: Roof's clear! Roof's clear! Igniting flares!

Falcon 1: Countersign detected at Bravo Papa! Abort! Abort! We got a countersign! Abort mission!

[Typhoon FGR4s fly by]

Falcon 1: Aborting weapons release. Returning to base.

At the end of the night, Red Coat, Colonel MacMillan, Cypher, Gaz, Ridley, Wallcroft, Griffen and Burns successfully saved London from the British Government's bombardment despite the virtually greater odds and being dangerously low on ammo.

Wallcroft: Jesus Christ. All those red flares. It seems some people caught that transmission and tried to save everyone from their rooftops when occupied Bravo Papa looked like a lost cause.

Burns: Good thing we disobeyed this order, too.

Griffen: So, do you think we're going to Moscow with Canada and Australia?

Colonel MacMillan: I wouldn't count on it. But if we are going, vengeance and much, much more will be ours.

Griffen: Amen to that.

Red Coat: When the time is right, my friends. When the time is right.

06:00:50, all civilians in the Military Safe Zone were then transferred to Buckingham Palace, which was turned into a shelter since it was the only place in the city that had electricity. Bravo 3-0 de-stressed by taking Caroline, Christian and Ellie on a tour and telling them about how the mission went down.

Red Coat: After clearing the ground floor, all my SCAR-L mags are empty. So I switched to my G28. And when I ran out of G28 ammo on the second deck, I used my Five-seveN and Commando Dagger.

Christian: Wow. Hey, El', you still remember that Leon Kennedy quote?

Ellie: "Bit of advice. Try using knives next time. Works better for close encounters."

Caroline: Jesus Christ, babe. I knew I should've given your M249 back before you left.

Red Coat: Ah, don't worry about it. If I were to end up completely empty, I would've used the enemy's weapons. Part of the job involves knowing how to use every weapon out there from antique to experimental.

Caroline: *giggles* And you call me a massive nerd?

[Red Coat laughs]

Ellie: Here, Daddy. I got data and internet connection on my phone. Go and relax to some Under No Flag. Chris and I'll clear these rooms.

Christian: Come on, Ellie! On me!

Ellie: Let's do this!

Gaz and Ridley: Avalanche!

Christian: Suicide bombers! Get down! *imitates explosion*

[Gaz, Ridley, Christian and Ellie laugh]

Pixiedust: Oi! We're doing CQB with Christian and Ellie?

Colonel MacMillan: Wait for us!

Cypher: Imma get you! Imma get you!

Wallcroft: Let me show you how to beat your friends in Airsoft!

Griffen: Grab some plastic bottles! Marcus and I'll show you some knife tricks!

Burns: *laughs* Gather around! Marcel and I will demonstrate!

[Christian and Ellie laugh]

Red Coat: Can't believe Ellie kept her phone working.

Caroline: I wonder who taught her how to take care of equipment? By the way, I heard Lauren call Mac "Wallace". Is that her friendly nickname for him?

Red Coat: That and Mac's middle name. Literally. I once pulled his file just to confirm that.

Caroline: I knew it. They ARE more than just friends.

Red Coat: *chuckles* Don't get all nosy now. *wears and shares airpods*

[Battlefield 5 Soundtrack's Under No Flag plays]

Caroline: Ah. One of the few good things to come out of Genderfield Vagina.

[Red Coat laughs]

Caroline: There's the flute. Soothing as fuck. Love you, Clyde baby.

Red Coat: Love you too, Caroline honey.
