"Do you mind if I just lie here for a little bit?" Sora asked. "I have a bad headache."
"Sora?" Goofy asked.
"Sora?" Donald asked, panicked.
"I'm alright!" Sora cried. "I just need to lie down for a minute!"
Donald and Goofy waited for a few minutes while Sora regained his strength, then he stood, stumbling for a moment before recovering. Sora looked at the ship. "Oh...oh my," he said.
"Yeah, it's kind of a mess," Donald said.
"Aw, Sora, you're pictures are all burnt!" Goofy cried.
"The pictures are fine, Goofy," Sora said, smiling. "I can just reprint them. I have them all on my phone."
"Crickey!" Jimny Cricket exclaimed, jumping out of Sora's pocket. "Now that's a mess!"
Sora's phone buzzed in his hand. Sora looked at the screen and answered it when he saw it was Chip and Dale. "Sora!" Chip cheered. "Donald! Goofy! You guys are okay!"
"Barely," Sora said.
"Why do you look like that?" Dale asked.
Sora squinted at his reflection on his screen. "Oh, we're just in Pop Village!" Sora explained, cheerfully. "It's okay, we've been here a bunch."
Chip stared at him in silence for a moment. "Where?" Dale asked.
"Pop Village," Donald said. "Just get to the point."
"Right," Chip said. "Well, we saw your ship crashed and we called to, first, make sure you guys are okay, which you are, and second, to tell you that we can send a replacement of your ship!"
"That's great!" Sora cheered.
"It'll take a little while, because we have to clear up our tracks here, since King Mickey doesn't have anything called 'Pop Village' in his territory, but we can get you a new ship in just a few days!" Chip finished.
"A few days?" Donald asked.
"Hey, we can meet for a while," Goofy said, smiling. "I'm sure Sora wouldn't mind revisiting his friends."
"Our friends," Sora corrected.
"Your friends," Donald said.
"Our friends," Sora said again. "Don't fight it."
"Well, great then!" Chip exclaimed. "We can get you a replacement as soon as we clean up the evidence here! Mind covering it up for us until we get there?"
"No problem!" Sora said. "We got ya!"
"Thanks!" Dale said.
"Have fun, and good luck!" Chip said. He hung up and Sora repocketed his phone.
Donald, Sora and Goofy started covering the crashed debris if what was once the Gummi Ship with leaves, trying their hardest to cover it all. There wasn't very many leaves on the ground, since the leaves were still green, so Sora tossed some debris into the bushes, where he was sure no one would find them.
"Sora!" Poppy's voice called behind him. Sora quickly tossed the last bit of debris into the bushes, dusted off his hands and turned around. His smile grew when he saw Poppy's cheerful face.
Poppy's wearing different clothes than usual, the bottom of it looking like a cloud. "Poppy!" Sora cheered. Poppy ran over and hugged all three of them. "How've you been?"
"Great!" Sora cheered.
"That's wonderful!" Poppy smiled. She looked Sora up and down. "Why aren't you dressed?"
"Dressed?" Sora asked. He looked down to see he was still wearing clothes, thankfully, then turned to look back at Poppy. "What do you mean?"
"For Bridget and Gristles wedding, silly!" Poppy explained.
Sora gasped. "They're getting married?" Donald asked.
"You bet!" Poppy cheered. "And everyone is invited! I mean, it is the Bergen King's wedding after all, so why WOULDN'T everyone be invited. They get to see their new queen!" Sora looked at his clothes again. "I, uh..." he rubbed the back of his neck, "I don't have another pair of clothes."
"Ooh! Ooh! Satin and Chenille can help with that!" Poppy exclaimed, jumping up and down. "They practically helped the entirety of Pop Village so I'm sure they wouldn't mind helping you too!"
Before anyone could reply, Poppy grabbed Sora's hand and dragged him to Satin and Chenille's pod, where they were putting the final stick into a puffy, purple dress. "Oh, Poppy!" the twins exclaimed in unison. "Sora!"
"Guys!" Sora cheered. They hugged too. "I have a very important job for you," Poppy said with determination. "Sora needs an outfit for today."
"And Donald and Goofy," Sora added.
"Little bowties!" Satin squeaked jubilantly.
"And a lovely suit!" Chenille said with the same passion.
Satin and Chenille worked much quicker than Sora anticipated, leaving him no time to ask any questions on what they were doing. They both took Sora's measurements, then worked one each on Donald and Goofy.
Within seconds, or, perhaps minutes, Satin and Chenille created a black suit for Sora with a red bowtie, an orange bowtie for Goofy, and a blue and yellow striped one for Donald. "Perfect!" they exclaimed in unison.
"You look great!" Poppy smiled.
"You think so?" Sora asked. "I've never worn anything this fancy before."
"You look fine, Sora," Donald said.
Poppy chatted a little with them, about their holiday they celebrated with the different Troll tribes, doing a secret gift exchange, and how for the first time in her life, she didn't know what to get anyone. Poppy showed them the scrapbook that Branch made, then went on to proceed to discuss how she and Bridget planned the wedding.
"You've been busy," Goofy said.
"A little, yeah," Poppy replied quickly.
"Well, take it easy," Sora said. "I know what it feels like to overwork."
"Oh, trust me, I do too," Poppy said, sighing. "I broke my hair."
"Ooh, how does that feel?" Sora asked.
"It kinda feels like breaking your arm, except...it's a little...fuzzier, if you know what I mean?"
"Nope," Donald said.
"Not at all," Sora said.
"Nuh-uh," Goofy said.
"Well, I'm sure you'll figure it out one day. Trolls break their hair at least once in their lives," Poppy said.
"That's very promising, Poppy," Sora said, wincing.
Poppy stopped in front of a white and blue grey pod. Inside there are small sounds of a song playing. Poppy shushed the party and opened the pod.
Inside is Branch, holding up something, staring thoughtfully at it, and crying. He also seems to be smiling. They waited in the door way for a little bit before Poppy spoke up. "Branch?" she asked, startling him, he almost dropped the package. "Are you okay? You're smiling and crying at the same time and it looks like it hurts your face."
Branch put the record back inside the slip and turned around. "It does hurt my face," he replied, rubbing his cheeks. Sora smiled. Same old Branch. "What are you listening to?" Poppy asked.
"Oh, uh, nothing," Branch said, trying to carefully put the record back. Poppy quickly snatched it from him. "BroZone?" she gasped.
"Yeah," Branch said, blowing it off, coolly.
"I love BroZone!" Poppy cheered.
"Yeah, I-wait, you do?" Branch asked. "Uh, I mean..." he glanced around, swinging his arms, "you do?" he finished with a tone of uninterest.
"Yeah!" Poppy said. "I mean, who doesn't?" She glanced at Sora, Donald and Goofy, who just casually looked around, except for Sora, who shrugged slightly. "Do you like BroZone?" Poppy asked, turning back to Branch.
"Y-uh, no. No, I don't," Branch replied.
"Then why were you listening to them?" Poppy asked, smiling and raising an eyebrow.
"I was, uh...hate listening! Yeah, hate listening," Branch replied quickly. The group stared at him. "I-it' a new thing I totally didn't just make up."
"Uh-huh," Poppy said.
"My grandma has bad taste," Branch said, sweating. "I mean, look at this place!"
Sora looked around to see crochet laces on the tables and the chairs, pictures of little Branch, presumably, and a few other small Trolls, with a record player, dusty yarn balls with knitting needles, records, and white furniture, with small tints of blue in them. "It's not that bad," Sora said. "Maybe grandma-ish, but it's not bad."
"Branch, I feel like you're hiding something," Poppy said, reaching for Branch's hands and scooping them up in her own. "If there's something you need to tell me, then go ahead and tell me."
"I...uh..." Branch said, hesitating. "Well, uh, it's..." He glanced down at his Hug Time Bracelet, which hasn't gone off, and back at Poppy quickly. "Come on, let's go get married!"
"Branch?" Poppy asked.
"What?" Sora asked, partly excited, partly confused.
"What?" Branch asked, hesitating. "Oh, I mean...let's go get Bridget and Gristle married!" Branch said slowly and awkwardly. Sora, Donald and Goofy shared expressions with each other, then turned back to Poppy and Branch.
"Oh, yeah, phew!" Poppy replied, awkwardly. "'Cause that would be WEIRD if we got married!"
"Yeah, t-totally," Branch said, awkwardly, but disappointed slightly. "Weird."
"Blegh," Poppy said, sticking her tongue out.
"Blegh," Branch said, doing the same.
"Blegh," Poppy said again. They went back and forth like that for a little bit. "Yeah, and we should totally stop standing here and talking about how weird it is," Poppy said.
"Y-yeah," Branch said, looking away and cringing.
Sora, Donald and Goofy just stared at the two of them, looks of confusion on their faces. "What is happening?" Sora whispered.
"I'm honestly not sure," Donald said.
"I was lost after Branch said 'let's get married,'" Goofy replied.
Branch and Poppy went on like that for another two minutes, Sora, Goofy and Donald just staring at them with looks of bewilderment and confusion.
"Yeah, hate listening is a new thing..." Branch said, swinging his arms slightly.
Sora, Goofy and Donald's faces are too good!
