"We raise a glass to our team, who have showcased the strength of Quatro Cerberus by coming first in the Preliminary Round today! To Quatro!"

"Wild!" The guild's cheers echoed through the large tavern they were sitting in, the team in question simply smiling in thanks before Goldmine turned and pointed at the two that took part in Day 1's activities.

"And a special toast to Screecher & Warcry, who despite coming second & losing his match respectively, showed the world that Quatro are not some pushovers like before!"

"To our wild buddies!" Screecher just shook his head while Warcry chuckled as he raised his pitcher, the two men turning back to their table as Eric chuckled.

"You two really don't take compliments in stride, do you?"

"We're not all lovers of the spotlight like you are." Screecher answered and Eric just shrugged as Flare snorted.

"This idiot hates the spotlight just as much as you. He just doesn't show it."

"You know, blurting out all my secrets isn't going to make me like you more."

"Well, it's a good thing you already like me then, huh?" She whispered with a smirk, Eric just staring at her with an amused smile before the couple turned as they heard Guy clearing his throat.

"Not to interrupt, but I do believe that none of us wish to see you two trying to see if you can suffocate the other."

"Fine, we'll keep things PG…for now." Flare muttered with a pout as she leaned back into Eric, who chuckled as he gave her a kiss on the forehead before blinking as he looked around.

"Leo, where is Bacchus?" The man in question simply looked at the barrier cage Bacchus was supposed to be locked in before he sighed at the gaping hole on the back of it.

"…How?"

"Bahahaha! Congratulations to Lucy, who showed the world what Fairy Tail is truly about!"

"To Lucy!" Fairy Tail roared in glee as the person in question blushed from where she was seated, turning as she felt a hand on her shoulder to see Erza giving her a proud smile.

"You did great today. You as well, Gray."

"Thanks." Gray mumbled, though he didn't look up as he continued lying with his head on the table before turning slightly as Makarov gave him a pat on the back.

"We mean it. You did incredible despite how much Raven Tail wanted to sabotage your chances."

"Thanks, master, but I…I think I just need to take a few minutes to myself."

"Of course, whatever you need." Makarov said with a smile and Gray nodded in thanks before he stood up, everyone watching as he walked out of the inn before Makarov chuckled as Juvia quickly rushed after him.

"Should I…" Gajeel trailed off as he turned to Makarvo, who smiled as he shook his head.

"No, she understands what he's going through the most since she also didn't score any points and apart from you four and Cana, she's the closest to him." Makarov said while gesturing at Fairy Tail Team A, who all frowned as they nodded before everyone turned as they heard Cana burp.

"Ahep! That's true~! So, who wants to have a drinking competition?"

"I'll do it!" Cana turned before raising an eyebrow at the sight of Bacchus sitting right next to her with a pitcher in each hand before the drunk falcon turned as Erza spoke up with a raised eyebrow.

"Bacchus, what are you doing here?" Erza asked, sighing as Bacchus just grinned and gave her a drunk shrug.

"Eh, my guild didn't want to have any drinking competitions, so I walked around for some drinking buddies…and found this place. So, whatcha say, girly? Think you can keep up with me?" Bacchus asked with a grin as he held up a pitcher to Cana, to which she simply dropped the empty barrel in her grasp and took the mug from him with a challenging grin.

"You sure~? Don't go whining if a girl beats you at drinking~"

"Heh~ that…has not happened before…and it won't now~"

"This…makes mine fifty five! Three in the lead here, girly!" Bacchus exclaimed with a grin as he slammed his empty mug down before blinking blearily at the sight of Cana lying face first on the table while a half-full mug stood right next to her, grinning as he raised his fists to the air.

"I win~! Now, for my prize, hehe~"

"No prize, Bacchus." Eric's voice cut through the guild and Bacchus groaned as he turned to see Eric walking in with a raised eyebrow, grumbling as the mage walked through the crowd towards him.

"What's with the getup?" Gajeel asked while gesturing towards Eric's outfit, who shrugged as he looked down at his clothes.

"Eh, wanted to show a bit of my wild side more."

"You should do modelling for those camping magazines. You have the right body for it." Mira cut in with a smile and Eric looked at the light scars covering his body with a slight frown before smirking.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I know a few companies that would love to have you on the cover."

"Are you really doing business when we're supposed to be- Mira?" Guy asked with a raised eyebrow, which Mira mirrored before they broke out into giggles/ chuckles as they walked towards each other & hugged.

"Man, it's good to see you're not as dead as we all thought."

"Eh, we both know death isn't enough to keep me or Fairy Tail away."

"You two know each other?" Lucy asked from the table Team A was sitting at as the rest of the guild leaned in before everyone's eyes widened as Mira answered.

"Yeah, we used to date for like a year?"

"Yeah, the year after you started modelling. Unfortunately, being S-Class mages and models became too much for us to factor in our relationship, so we ended it."

"…You dated a model and you didn't tell us?" Bacchus asked as he and Eric appeared at Guy's side while each wrapped an arm around the shoulders of their captain/ friend.

"Unlike you, who sleeps with every women that asks and then brags about it to the guild, and you, who flaunts his relationship for all to see, I like to keep my private life…private."

"So, are you taking part in the GMG?" Mira asked as she looked at Guy, who pushed a whining Eric & Bacchus away as he smiled & nodded.

"I'm the reserve member, so hopefully, no one on our team gets hurt enough that I have to take part."

"Well, we're still going to take you all down and show the world that Fairy Tail is back, right guys?!" Natsu exclaimed with a grin as he held his fist in the air, to which the rest of the Fairy Tail guild roared before Eric cut through their cheers.

"Didn't I beat you in just two moves?" Natsu froze at that as Gajeel snickered at that while Laxus smirked and the rest of the guild giggled/ laughed at the Fire dragon slayer's embarrassed look.

"Anyway, we need to get back to our inn before this idiot does anything stupid." Eric said with a grin and Bacchus grunted as the gravity mage wrapped his arm around his neck & pulled the whining drunk out of the guild.

"May the best mage win." Mira said to Guy with a hand held out, Guy smirking as he shook her hand & nodded.

"To you all as well, but don't feel bad if we win. It's just natural that the wildest ones are the most successful."

"Sure~" Mira said with a smirk and Guy chuckled as he nodded to the smiling Makarov before following after his guild mates, Makarov chuckling before turning as Erza hummed.

"He's gotten stronger."

"Yes, and by a lot from the looks of it. I wouldn't be surprised if Bacchus taught him how to open his Second Origin." Makarov muttered with a smirk, drawing the attention of Team A before they all turned to Natsu as the dragon slayer spoke.

"Looks like this tournament won't be as easy as you thought, huh Gramps?"

"You scared?" Gajeel asked and Natsu just grinned as flames sparked around him.

"Nope! I'm all fired up!"

"Welcome back, everyone, to Day 2 of the Grand! Magic! GAMES!" The announcer roared and the crowd matched his roars with deafening cheers, Eric smirking as he bounced on his heels while rolling his neck.

"Yesterday was a roller coaster of emotions as we were treated to the first round of Hidden, where a point difference decided the winner of the match, while we had some close matches that could have ended either way! However, today, we start off with a bang as we bring out…The Chariot!"

"You sure you want to take this one?" Leo asked with a concerned frown which the other mirrored as they saw the long train-like carriage that was waiting at the starting line, to which Eric smirked as he nodded.

"Yeah, this should be pretty easy."

"Eric, you remember how you are with trains, right?" Bacchus asked as he turned to Eric before his eyes widened slightly along with the others' as an azure aura covered Eric & he began floating.

"…Right, completely forgot about that."

"Now then, will the participants of the match please make their way to the starting line?"

PAGE BREAK

"It looks like the dragon slayers are fighting it out this round, huh?" Eric spoke with a grin as he saw Gajeel, Natsu & Sting waiting on the carriages, nodding at the other mages waiting as Gajeel smirked.

"Yeah and Salamander told me what you said on the night of the prelims."

"Why? You scarred?"

"Oh no, just telling you that you said it to the wrong dragon slayer." Gajeel said with a feral grin, which Eric matched as he nodded.

"You sure? From the looks of it, they seem like more of a challenge than you would be."

"Let's wait for the fighting rounds and see if you're right." Gajeel growled as the two men stood chest to chest before the tension rose as Sting spoke up.

"Yeah, I'll let you old timers decide who is really worthy of fighting me."
"You could barely look me in the eyes last time we spoke. You grow some balls, little lizard?" Eric asked with a smirk, enjoying how Sting glared at him before they turned to Natsu as flames sparked from the corners of his mouth.

"You know what? Let's forget the match and go right now!"

"Oh, I'm ready whenever!"

"Now, we're talking my language, Salamander!"

"Time to show you old fossils what the hybrid generation is truly capable of!"

"Nope! Nope! No fighting before matches or you're all disqualified!" Eric gave a disappointed groan as he snuffed out his flames, the other slayers looking just as disappointed as they deactivated their spells before the Hell Flame Dragon Slayer chuckled as Mako gave a sigh of relief.

"Don't worry, pumpkin head. We were just going to do some light sparring, right?"

"Yeah, just a few buildings were going to get destroyed." Gajeel chimed in with a dismissive wave of his head, to which Mako simply shook his head before clearing his throat as he floated away to be in view of all the other competitors.

"Ahem! Now, the rules for the second round are simple! You must make it from the starting point, the back of the carriage, to the finish point, which will be the Domus Flau battle arena. The carriage train in front of you will take you there, but until it reaches that point, you'll have to battle it out. Fall off at any point and you will be forced to go to the back and start over again. Does everyone understand the rules?"

"What if a carriage is destroyed?" Eric asked and the others turned to him with raised eyebrows as Mako blinked.

"I-If by some chance a section is destroyed, you must still leap from carriage to carriage and not touch the ground at all."

"And what if the entire train is destroyed?"

"…Are you going to purposefully destroy the train?" Mako asked before giving a deadpan stare along with everyone else as Eric just continued.

"Can I?"

"You will be disqualified and your team will get zero points for the entire day."

"…Well, there goes Plan A." Eric grumbled as he scratched his head, the other mages just shaking their heads before they all blinked as Natsu cursed.

"Damnit. There goes my entire plan."

"Really, Salamander?"

"What? It's called thinking outside the box."

"I'm surprised your brain can survive thinking up a plan."

'Oi, you wanna go, light boy?!" Natsu exclaimed as he turned to Sting, who just gave Natsu a mocking smirk as Gajeel held his guild mate back with a sigh.

"A-Anyway, please get ready for the match to begin!"

"Hey, I hear you're a Gravity mage?" Eric blinked as he heard a female voice and turned to see a dark-skinned chubby girl walking towards him with a happy smile.

"Yeah, you too?"

"Yep! Although, mine is probably not as strong as yours since I use a variant of it."

"That's actually pretty cool, especially since variants are much harder to figure out than the original magic they came from." Eric said with a grin and the girl looked a bit surprised & thankful before grinning as she held out a hand.

"Risley Law, mage of Mermaid Heel. Pleased to meet you."

"Eric Creed, mage of Quatro Cerberus. Like the outfit."

"Thanks! Same to you."

"Men~! It is good to see the parfum of camaraderie spreading from guild to guild~" Eric heard a male voice say and looked to see the visage of Ichiya giving them a smirk while pointing two fingers at them.

"Should…should we say something back?" Risley asked as she turned to Eric, who shrugged before turning to give Ichiya a thumbs-up.

"Good to meet you too, sir." He said with a slight head bow, which Risley mirrored as Ichiya nodded before twirling away to wait at the starting line whilst muttering about parfum.

"Hehehe~I hope we have a fun match, sir Creed." A voice whispered from behind Eric and he turned before smirking at the sight of Kurohebi standing behind them with a hand raised to him.

"I do too, Kurohebi." Kurohebi's eyes widened at that as Eric shook his head with a pleased smile before his expression quickly shifted to a sinister smirk as he nodded and walked away.

"Know each other?" Risley asked and Eric simply shook his head as he rolled his neck.

"He wishes, but it's more of a neutral relationship."

"Okay, everybody! We are ready to go, so get ready!" Mako's voice echoed in the air and Eric grinned as everyone leapt onto the first carriage with ease.

"Good luck to you."

"You too, Ms. Law." Eric said with a bow, to which Risley giggled before they turned as Mako raised his hand.

"Everyone ready?!" He asked, waiting until everyone nodded before his grin widened as he nodded.

"Then, without further ado, let the second round of Chariot…BEGIN!" In an instant, the dragon slayers, Risley, Ichiya and Yuka grunted as the air around them grew heavier, nearly forcing them to the ground while Eric hummed as he watched a hissing Kurohebi rush away.

'So, his Mimic works through physical contact, huh?' Eric thought with a smirk before turning as he saw the air around Risley shift before she took off, Yuka & Ichiya taking their time to get up before they took off after her.

"So, you guys not going to start moving?" Eric asked with an amused smirk as he turned to the dragon slayers, chuckling as they all could only groan while the carriage continued moving.

"H-How-Hwuarg! How…are you not…affected?" Gajeel wheezed as he started to slowly walk after Natsu & Sting, the other two looking just as sickly as Eric chuckled & followed after them.

"Well, it helps that I have a different magic to help circumvent my motion sickness."

"T-That's…cheating!"

"Y-Yeah, and I…t-thought y-Hwua! Y-You were…supposed to be…the best." Natsu said with a mocking grin, to which Eric simply raised an eyebrow.

"It's called being smart, something I realize you three seem to lack. Anyway, I have a competition to win so I'll be seeing you. Oh, and one more piece of advice," Eric began as the dim azure glow around his body began to brighten up, to which the dragon slayers glared at him as he gave them a slight bow.

"You guys really should get stronger or else this is going to be easy." And with a simple thought, the entire train creaked & groaned as the air intensified severely, everyone slamming face first into its floor as Eric rocketed towards the finish line like a speeding bullet.

He felt Risley & Kurohebi trying to reverse the gravity around them and Yuka trying to nullify it, but it was too late as he dismissed the spell just as he crossed the finish line in first place.

Coming to a swift stop, he simply smirked at how silent the Domus Flau was before raising his fist to the air, the silence broken by a deafening cheer from the crowd as he chuckled.

'And that is the birth of Eric Creed, the King of Hellish Gravity! …Fucking hell, that made me want to throw up.'

A/N: And Eric is finally taking part! Is it kind of overused to make my SI win his first match? Yes, it is, but to make it fair, he was using gravity to lighten himself and boost his speed so it would be kind of stupid to not make him win.
