Stitches- spider family
Everyone in this family cared for each other. However, that was the problem.
Rui brought some stings out from his fingertips, cutting them off so he could use them for what was about to be done. You'd think that having a family member stitch you up after an injury would be a heartwarming thing, a show of love but for the other members of the household it was anything but.
Through some fight with a demon slayer the demons they referred to as their 'spider mother' has actually managed to get quite a few injuries. They were mostly slashes but she was also missing an arm. Any other demon would have regenerated by now, but the thing was, Rui would never let that happen. For some reason he insisted on 'healing' them by stitching them up, maybe it was because he guessed that was what family was supposed to do. Help each other. Even if they caused more harm than good.
As the first stitch went in the girl winced. Rui was never a medic, and so he was basically sewing her back together, the only equipment being a needle and the thread that came from his own blood. Carefully he placed the first one on what remained of her hand, and then with a slightly shaky hand, he pierced right through her skin and pulled. It stung so bad, but the hand followed the string and was just touching her wrist. Then Rui simply repeated the process, piercing her wrist what felt like hundreds of times, but getting slightly more confident with each one. By the time, the hand was at least somewhat attached to her the entire area was filled with pain, almost as much as when it had been cut off.
The next was a large gash that had appeared in her leg. It was deep, but nothing that wouldn't heal if she'd just used her demon powers. Sadly, that wasn't an option while Rui was around. The first stich went in, and the spider mother had to do her best not to cry out. Silk thread glided over her skin, Rui stitched one side then the other and pulled the string, pulling the skin together. The string was covered in blood by the time it came through. Rui was by no means and expert at this and so had to sometimes put more than one hole in her skin for the needle to go through. It hurt. She had to look up to try preventing herself from looking at it, maybe if she didn't see it, she wouldn't feel it. obviously, that didn't work. It stung and she felt a new pain every time he put the needle to her skin.
By the time the second stich was done the first one was hurting just a little less. Due to his lack of experience Rui wasn't very fast so the entire thing was taking way longer than it should have. And she would have counted one down if it wasn't the fact that he'd need to redo it with how messed up it was. Only about ten more to go.
