Chapter 0

"What the hell?" A young man groaned as he woke up and suddenly found himself inside of a small, rusted steel cage inside of a large room of stone and splattered blood on the ground along with various torture implements all over the place and standing far to the side are two people conversing among themselves.

The young man recognized the two people but only through sheer memory since these people were three dimensional and real looking people instead of the NPC's he recognized from his times playing Skyrim.

The imperial torturer and his assistant from the intro into the game but before the young man could ask what was going on, he saw a dark green videogame like screen appear before his eyes.

[Salutations. You have been reincarnated into a modified world of Skyrim courtesy of the MGG aka the Multidimensional Gamers Guild. You are now a Gamer with powers like a modified TTRPG aka a tabletop role playing game.

Have fun.]

The young man was confused as can be when seeing and experiencing such bizarre events. He had read enough fanfics and the Gamer manger plus solo levelling to understand what he was working with, but the fact that he had basically been summoned to a new world was still troubling. So, with intense focus, he managed to summon up his status screen and saw the information it had to offer.

After seeing the information before him, Magnus looked down at his hands and at his body to notice that his skin is a pale yellowish white color and that he is dressed in literal rags held in place with string around his waist. He closed his eyes and focused on himself and felt his Magicka within him stir upon his command, but he didn't try to cast any spell.

His hosts had weapons, and he lacked any armor or protective spells, so Magnus chose to play the inmate for now and see what happens.

However, he still had multiple questions about how he changed from being human, to now being a semi-extinct race of elves that ancient Nords decided to wipe off the face of Nirn.

Magnus held onto the bars of his cage as the entire building shook violently and a spine-chilling roar echoed. Magnus' eyes went wide as he now knew that he was in the literal tutorial of the Skyrim game and that his new moments of life would end quickly if he didn't find a way to escape.

"What was that?" The torturer's assistant asked with concern while the torturer himself looked up at the ceiling.

"Most likely, the Thalmor putting on a show for this execution." The torturer said before two people clad in Stormcloak armor rushed into the room. One with two axes and the other with a claymore sword. The two Nords quickly attacked the two Imperials, and surprisingly had the upper hand at first.

The torturer's assistant fought against the dual wielding axe user with his mace and Imperial shield while the torturer himself attacked the claymore user with bolts of lightning magic that the swordsman endured. Perhaps it was due to some trained magic resistance or something, but the Nord pushed through and attacked the torturer, who back stepped away from the blade before casting an armor spell on himself as he was knocked back by a strong sword thrust from the Stormcloak.

Magnus stayed silent before more people entered, but the people who entered weren't Stormcloak's and instead was Hadvar and the person that Magnus assumed was, the Dragonborn.

The person next to Hadvar was an Orsimer. She is large at roughly six feet with a muscular yet curvy frame similar to a barbarian or orc from Raid Shadow Legends. She had light green skin with black hair flowing down to her shoulders with light purple eyes and small tusks pointing out of her mouth. She is dressed in heavy orc armor minus the helmet, and she also has a leather backpack on her back while wielding a spear that seemed to be made of the same material of her armor.

The Orsimer and Hadvar charged into battle as Hadvar helped the torturer's assistant while the Orsimer woman attacked the Claymore user but unlike Hadvar, the woman attacked from a distance by throwing her spear like a javelin and promptly sent the tip of the spear through the Stormcloak's head, killing him.

The other Stormcloak didn't last any longer as she was impaled by Hadvar's sword before her skull was bashed in by the torturer's assistant.

"You came along just in time. These Stormcloak's didn't seem to like how I've been…Entertaining their comrades." The torturer said with a smug tone while he deactivated his magical armor spell.

"You have to come with us. A dragon is attacking the keep." Hadvar said quickly while the torturer scoffed and turned his back to Hadvar and the Orsimer. "Didn't you hear me? The keep is under attack!"

"By a dragon? Please don't make up nonsense and don't think that you have any authority over me." The torturer said with a glare.

"If you're leaving then take me with you, please." Magnus begged Hadvar and the Orsimer, which placed all the attention on him.

"Who are you?" Hadvar asked after turning towards Magnus.

"That is nothing more than a stray. Some guards found him unconscious near the gates and I wanted to study his unique features. He's an elf clearly, yet he isn't similar to any Altmer, Dunmer or Bosmer." The torturer explained, causing the Orsimer to give him a short yet annoyed glance as she recovered her spear.

"So, he's nothing more than an experiment to you?" The Orsimer asked with a scowl before she moved up to Magnus' cage and with her spear in hand, she thrust it through the keyhole of the cage before pulling out her weapon and letting the cage door slide open on its own.

"Oh, sure. Take all my things. Please." The torturer remarked sarcastically.

"Thank you. May, I ask your name?" Magnus asked after stepping out of the cell and looking at the orc woman.

"My name is Grazk Olorla. And you can come with us. So, what should I call you?" Grazk asked.

"Magnus." Magnus replied before he followed Grazk and Hadvar through the rest of the keep while the Torturer and his assistant stayed behind and unlike in the game, the rest of the cave lacked any other Stormcloaks, giant spiders or a hungry cave bear.

It was a simple but long walk through the underground portion of the keep before the trio emerged out of the cave exit and found the cold yet flourishing land of Skyrim to welcome them while the world eater known as Alduin flew overhead at speeds faster than you'd expect given how slow moving he appeared to be in the game.

Magnus looked at the quest screen before looking back at Hadvar and Grazk.

"You have my thanks for freeing me. So, if it isn't too much of a bother. I'd like to follow you Grazk. You seem like the adventuring type, and I promise I won't slow you down or hold you back." Magnus said to the woman who looked Magnus up and down for a moment after he spoke.

"I don't have a problem with that. Besides, I tire of solo adventures." Grazk said before the group set out towards Riverwood.

A/N: Okay I finally decided to make a Skyrim story with tabletop mechanics and expect things to be crazy and fun in this story.
