Chapter 3: Dark Havoc
After Alvin mentioned the story about the eclipse, Mr. Morris says, "That's just a legend. It can't be real!"
Alvin replies, "Well explain why this stuff started happening when the eclipse occurred."
Just as Alvin finished that sentence, the lights went out and a nearby car started moving by itself and crashed into the school.
Simon then says, "Okay, maybe it wasn't just a legend after all. This stuff didn't start happening until the eclipse."
The wall around the window collapses and Theodore goes outside to see if there's any other threats.
He screams when he sees a large group of people staggering their way toward the school. Alvin runs out to get a look and also to protect Theodore. He gasps when he sees the group and realizes it's a horde of zombies.
"Zombies are heading this way! We need to get away from here!," Alvin yells out.
Mr. Morris exclaims, "Let's get to the gym! The walls are thicker and we can barricade the doors!"
The class runs to the gym and other classes of students quickly join the group.
As the students and staff run to the gym, they hear people screaming as trees fall, stuff moves by itself, and people are being attacked by the zombies. Alvin cringes inside as he runs to the gym with the people in the school.
At the Seville house, Dave sees cars bursting into flames and trees falling around him.
He says, "If this is happening here, then everyone at the school is probably in trouble!"
He runs over to his car and gets in. He goes to start the car, but it won't start.
"Come on, come on! Start!," Dave shouts in frustration and fear.
The headlights burst and the engine caught on fire. Dave immediately gets out of the car before it gets completely engulfed in flames.
"I need to get Ms. Miller. She has got to
be worried as well," Dave says. He then starts running to the Miller house.
At the Miller house, Ms. Miller had just called the police and told them what was going on. She runs out to her car and is met by Dave.
"Everything is going wrong, I'm sure the Chipettes and Chipmunks are in danger at the school! We need to get there right away!," Dave exclaims.
Ms. Miller responds, "I was thinking the same thing Dave. We need to go now!"
She and Dave get in her car and fortunately are able to start it. They pull out of the driveway and race to the school.
At the school in the gym, everyone is barricaded in.
Brittany goes over to Alvin and asks him, "What is going on here? Why is this happening?"
Alvin answers, "It's the eclipse. That story is true about the eclipse."
"How could a solar eclipse cause this stuff?!," Brittany exclaims.
"It just happened. Once every few years, an unusually long solar eclipse happens and stuff like this occurs. I don't know the exact reason though," Alvin says.
He then adds, "Not to mention zombies are making their way over here and people are already being attacked. We need to stay away from them."
Theodore goes to one of the teachers and asks, "Why aren't the lights out here?"
The teacher answers, "There is a backup generator we have and it's powering not just the electricity for the gym, but for a number of areas of the school."
"That's good to know," Theodore says. He hears more crashing outside and goes over to a group of Simon, Jeanette, and Eleanor and says, "I'm really scared."
Simon says, "You're not the only one. I'm scared too."
"We're all scared Theodore," Eleanor says.
Jeanette adds, "But at least we're together. Hopefully we'll get through this mess"
"I hope so," Theodore says.
Outside, Ms. Miller and Dave pull up to the school and are shocked by what they see.
"Hopefully the boys are somewhere safe," Dave says.
Ms. Miller then says, "Hopefully the girls are also safe. I don't know what I would do if something happened to them. Same with the boys."
The two then look around and see the horde of zombies continuing to make their way toward the school and at the same time attacking and eating people in their path.
"We've got to find them now!," Dave exclaims.
"Maybe they're somewhere in the school, we've got to look," Ms. Miller says.
Dave says, "Alright let's go!"
Will Dave and Ms. Miller find everyone in the school first, or will the zombies? Please review!
