"Ne, Ena? Which do you like better?"

Lifting her head up from the selection of cute tops she was looking at, wide, brown eyes blinking a couple of times in confusion at their pink-haired companion as Mizuki expectantly held up two outfits, Ena staring curiously at the pieces of clothing being presented to her. Looking between the pair of outfits, both of wildly different style and design, yet still distinctly fitting for the brown-haired artist, Ena cast a quick glance at her pink-haired companion's expression, Mizuki's face beaming with excitement and bubbly energy as a bright grin lit up her features.

Seeing Mizuki in such an excited state, Niigo's editor bouncing in place as she patiently awaited her girlfriend's response, was not really too surprising to Ena. After all, it had been her idea to go shopping in the first place, the pink-haired fashionista practically dragging Ena out of bed as she boisterously declared the pair's plan for the day, with or without her girlfriend's approval. And while she did enjoy shopping for new clothes, her social media follower numbers trending upward significantly whenever she posted pictures of her new outfits, no one could quite keep up with Mizuki's enthusiasm and sheer endurance when it came to a shopping spree.

Mizuki was a relentless fashion monster.

"Hmm, well I do like the cut of this one," running her fingers over the length of the dresses skirt, feeling the fabric between her fingers, Ena eyed her options with a critical stare, taking great consideration with Mizuki's choices, "but I feel like the color doesn't really work with my complexion."

"And this one is very pretty," looking over the next one, taking in its differing style, Ena felt a wave of disappointment wash over her as she held up one of the dresses sleeves, eyebrow furrowed with chagrin, "but I can't really pull off those kinds of ribbons on the sleeves."

Holding up the pair of dresses, a contemplative expression on her face, Ena watched on with quiet anticipation as she watched the gears in Mizuki's head turn. These were moments that Ena always looked forward to, seeing such a serious expression on her girlfriend's face, those pink eyes, usually alight with mischief and joy, taking on a sharp and serious quality.

"Well," dramatically holding the final note, bringing the second outfit in front of herself, Mizuki looked over the dress with a critical eye, "if I just removed these and replaced them with some of the frilly fabric I have at home, tucked this part in a bit, and extended the hem of the skirt a couple of inches, I think it would look lovely on you."

Clasping her hands behind her back, fingers fiddling with nervous energy, Ena listened with rapt attention to Mizuki's expertly detailed description of all the changes and alterations she could make to make the outfit perfect for the brown-haired artist. Beginning to pace back and forth, holding the dress up to clearly inspect every inch of its design, Mizuki's face broke out in a brilliant smile as her vision began coming together.

Watching Mizuki break down everything she planned to do, her little hops and giggles of joy making Ena internally gush at how adorable her girlfriend was, the brown-haired girl couldn't help but admire just how amazing she was. Not only did Mizuki have a cute and fashionable style of her own, one that fits the pink-haired girl to a tee, but she always seemed to know just what kind of outfit would suit Ena best.

Niigo's resident editor had an incredible mind for style, the pink-haired fashionista was able to find the perfect outfit for anyone, able to figure out what would fit best for you with only a brief meeting and a quick hello. And even if she can't find the perfect outfit for you, something which was a rarity more often or not, Mizuki can make it for you, her discernible eye only matched by her brilliant mind and skillful hands.

These things did not only extend to others but to herself as well, the fashion-conscious girl seeming to always have a new outfit every time they meet, Mizuki often casually remarking that they had altered it themselves. And you would never be able to tell the difference, Ena was always stunned by just how professionally done her girlfriend's work is, every stitch perfectly done, not a thread out of place.

"We can go to my place and I can alter it right away!" Grinning brightly, an eager shimmy in her step as she eagerly hopped from foot to foot, Mizuki hugged the dress close to her chest, the pink-haired girl brimming with overflowing excitement.

"I'll pay for it right away." Smiling at her bubbly enthusiasm, trusting Mizuki's opinion, Ena went to reach for the outfit when the pink-haired girl suddenly angled her upper body away, keeping the dress out of her girlfriend's reach. Looking at the fashion-conscious girl in confusion, Mizuki simply shot her an impish smile, a twinkle of mischief within her pink gaze.

"Nuh-uh~ I'm going to pay for it." Mizuki declared proudly as she deftly slithered past the dumbstruck brunette, a catlike grin curling on her lips as she hugged the dress a little closer to her chest, her entire body vibrating with excited energy.

Ena was about to protest, that her girlfriend was already doing enough for her by taking the time to alter it, but the brown-haired artist's words quickly died on her tongue as she looked at the excited gleam on Mizuki's face. Somehow, as impossible as it may seem, Mizuki seemed even cuter at this moment, the pink-haired girl radiating an aura of adorableness that made Ena want to squeeze and hug her for hours and hours.

Not that she'd ever admit something like that to her, of course.

"Haaah, fine!" Breathing out a long and heavy sigh, Ena somewhat reluctantly agreed, knowing it will lead to some form of annoyance from her girlfriend in the future, the artist made sure to add a caveat to their arrangement. "But I'm paying for our food for the next month, got it?"

"Deal!" Not hesitating in the slightest, Mizuki let out a happy chirp, shooting her girlfriend a quick grin before rushing over toward the cash, an excited spring in her step as she clutched the dress to her chest. Watching her go, seeing Mizuki so excited as she handed the cashier the money before eagerly grabbing the bag with her purchase, the fashion-conscious girl proudly holding it up for her to see, a wide, toothy grin on her face, Ena couldn't help but smile back. She had to admit that it wasn't just the way she dressed or because of her many talents, but that there was one undeniable fact about her girlfriend.

Mizuki was just too cute.

A/N: Dress to express yourself.

Decided to ride this wave as long as possible and with that we have chapter 3. While Ena admires Mizuki for her style and skill when it comes to fashion, the core fact is that Mizuki is just cute.

This time I will actually promise an early release for the next chapter. Writing these has been fun and has been helping a lot with my writer's block. They give me something quick and easy to write, which has been helping me stay in the writing mindset, and give me a way to do something creative.

That and MizuEna is just adorable.
