Chapter 17
101 Dalmatian Street Part 2
After learning about Hunter De Vil, and his great aunt, Cruella, Molly and Libby spent the next couple of hours thinking of a plan to protect the dalmatians. In order to protect everyone, Molly and Libby made sure that all of the doors were locked and the windows were boarded up.
Even though they were all safe in the house, the dalmatians were still frightened as Dylan and Dolly were peeking outside to look for any signs of Hunter or Cruella. Despite the fact that neither of the De Vils could be found, Molly and Libby would be lying if they didn't say they were frightened as well.
A couple of hours had went by before Molly and Libby decided to check on Dylan and Dolly on the top floor. They both took turns looking through a telescope, but thankfully didn't see either of the De Vils. Molly and Libby couldn't help but notice that their friends looked a little tired, so they approached their friends to make sure they were okay.
"Hey! So how is the search going?" Molly asked.
"Thankfully, Dylan and I don't see Hunter anywhere." Dolly sighed in relief.
"Even if he did, we all took the extra precautions to keep him from breaking in!" said Dylan.
"That's great, Dylan!" Libby smiled. "Maybe you should take a break now. The same goes for you too, Dolly. You two look exhausted."
In response, Dolly waved a dismissive paw. "Nah! I can go for days without sleeping! Can't say the same for Dylan though! I mean look at yourself, bro! You look like your going to collapse from exhaustion any minute."
"Hey! Someone has to make sure our family is safe! Trust me! Everything is under control."
As Dylan said that he took notice of something out of the corner of his eye. Fearing the worst, Dylan rushed over to the telescope to see Hunter standing outside the front door. Much to everyone's surprise, Hunter wasn't facing the front door, but the road instead. It was at that moment when a car drove down the road and parked in front of Hunter.
The door of the car opened before a woman stepped out and approached Hunter. The woman had hair that was half black and half white and wore a white coat, that Molly and Libby hoped wasn't made from dalmatian fur.
"Hello, Great Auntie Cruella!" Hunter greeted.
"Save the pleasantries, Hunter." Cruella said, not interested in small talk. "This is where you said the dalmatians are hiding, correct?"
"Y-Yes." Hunter stuttered.
"Good. Let's be quick about this. We have an associate who is helping us capture those dalmatians, so we can't mess this up!"
Hunter raised a confused eyebrow. His aunt he never mentioned an associate to him before.
"An associate? Who are they?"
"That is none of your concern." Cruella dismissed her nephew's question. "Just focus on capturing those dogs, and don't let a single one of them escape! By the end of the night, I would have more fur coats then I would know what to do with!"
Suddenly, Cruella looked up to see Molly, Libby, Dylan, and Dolly staring down at her from the window. In response, Cruella gave a creepy grin before waving at them from below. It was at that moment when Molly and her friends started to freak out as they all screamed before running downstairs to warn the family.
After Molly and the others told everyone what they just saw, Doug and Delilah started to worry about the safety of their children more than ever.
"Oh, my dog! Oh, my dog! Oh, my dog!" Dylan started to panic. "What are we going to do? Hunter is out there planning to catch us this very moment!"
Molly soon approached Dylan as she tried to calm him down. "It's going to be okay, Dylan! Libby and I promise to protect you and the rest of the dalmatians!"
"Thank you, Molly." Delilah smiled, grateful for Molly's help. "We all appreciate what you and Libby are doing for us."
"And we can get through this as long as we all stick together!" Doug said. "I'm sure we have nothing to worry about! Thanks to all of our defenses, there won't be a single De Vil breaking in here!"
Suddenly, the air around everyone started to get hot. All of the dogs started to pant from exhaustion as they all wondered what was going on.
"Wh-Why is it so hot all of a sudden?" Libby asked
As the temperature started to get higher, Dolly realized what was going on. "It must be Hunter! He is trying to force us to leave our home!'
"We won't let that happen! Why don't we find some water?" Molly suggested. "That should help us cool down!"
As Molly and Libby entered the kitchen, they turned on the faucet, only to realize that it wasn't working. The girls growled in frustration once they realized that Hunter and Cruella disabled the plumbing. Things only got worse from there as the dalmatians were slowly running out of food.
With everything going from bad to worse, Molly and the others desperately tried to think of a way out of here without getting caught by the De Vils. Suddenly, Dolly let out a yell of surprise when she suddenly fell down a hole in the floor. Surprised by this, Molly and the others rushed to Dolly's aid to see that she was stuck in the hole with a smaller dalmatian.
"Diesel? Where have you been?" Dolly asked her younger sibling.
"Oh, just at the park." Diesel casually replied, revealing that he dug a tunnel all the way to the park.
This gave everyone an idea. Now that they had an emergency exit, they were now able to escape from the De Vils. After they told all of the dalmatians about their new plan, Molly and Libby led everyone to the tunnel, where the dalmatians entered one by one.
Little did everyone know that a bunch of Heartless were waiting for the puppies on the other side. Right when the puppies least expected it, the Heartless grabbed them before throwing them in a nearby crate. This went on until one of the Heartless made its way to 101 Dalmatian Street with one of the puppies in its arms. Upon noticing the Heartless, Hunter let out a scream before cowering behind his aunt in fear.
"Great Auntie, what is that thing?" Hunter asked, having never seen a creature like it before.
"Calm yourself, Hunter. This is simply a creature that my associate provided me with." Cruella calmly replied before taking the dalmatian in her arms.
With that, Cruella walked towards the front door and placed the dalmatian's paw on a nearby scanner, causing the door to open automatically. Once they noticed Cruella entering the house, Molly and Libby gathered the rest of the dalmatians and hid in a nearby room in hopes that Cruella wouldn't find them.
It was so quiet in the house, all everyone could hear was Cruella's approaching footsteps. As the footsteps got closer and closer, Molly and Libby got more frightened, not only for themselves, but for the dalmatians as well. Before long, the sounds of the footsteps could no longer be heard as everyone was left in complete silence. Just when Molly and Libby thought it was safe, Cruella opened the door to the room with a wicked grin.
"Boo!" Cruella taunted, now having the dalmatians right where she wanted them.
It was at that moment when the dalmatian puppies screamed as they all panicked and ran in every direction. Despite the chaos, Molly and Libby did their best to lead the dalmatians to the tunnel while Doug and Delilah fought back against Cruella to protect their children.
More and more dalmatians entered the tunnel until Dylan and Dolly were the last ones. Even though their siblings were far away from Cruella, Dylan and Dolly still didn't want to leave because they were still worried about their parents.
"Okay, now it's your turn, Dylan and Dolly." Libby told her dalmatian friends.
"We're not leaving, Libby!" Dolly firmly replied.
"Dolly and I can't leave our parents behind." Dylan added, feeling just as worried about his parents as Dolly.
"It's okay! Libby and I will help your parents stop Cruella!" Molly assured. "Just trust us!"
Both, Dylan and Dolly shared a couple of nervous glances with each other. As much as they wanted to stay, they still had to look after their siblings. Having no other choice, Dylan and Dolly made their way through the tunnel.
With that, Molly and Libby ran into the living room and were both shocked to see Doug unconscious from his fight with Cruella while Delilah was trapped in a net. They both watched in horror as Cruella dragged Doug and Delilah with her, so Molly and Libby ran towards Cruella, only for Hunter to stand in their way.
"Not so fast! Sorry, but I'm not going to let you two save your friends so easily!" Hunter said, aiming his net blaster at the two of them.
Hunter fired net after net at Molly and Libby as they both dodged every single one of them. Before long, Libby charged right at Hunter before she was taken off guard when he fired a net at her. This time, the net was able to catch her, pinning her forelegs to the sides. Molly watched in horror as Hunter picked Libby up by the net wrapped around her.
"You know, Great Auntie Cruella only cares about the dalmatians, but perhaps I'll take you as a bonus!" Hunter said before placing a muzzle over Libby's snout. "Now, it's your turn!" Hunter brought his attention to Molly.
Before Hunter could make a move, he heard the angry voice of his aunt. "Hunter, what is taking you so long?!"
"C-Coming, Great Auntie Cruella!" Hunter called out before bringing his attention back to Molly. "Looks like you are lucky! I'll just take the other one with me."
As Hunter turned to leave, Molly immediately ran to Hunter and tried to bite his leg out of desperation. This didn't have any effect on Hunter, so he simply shook Molly off before leaving the house.
"Libby!" Molly cried, reaching her paw out.
"Mlly!" Libby gave muffled yells as she was dragged further and further away from Molly.
As Molly followed Hunter out of the house, she noticed Doug and Delilah tied, muzzled, and trapped in Cruella's car. Libby joined them soon afterwards as the car was put into drive and sped away. Molly wasn't going to let the De Vils get away so easily, so she chased after the car as fast as she could. It wasn't long before Molly was joined by Dylan and Dolly, who were chasing after the De Vils as well.
"Dylan? Dolly? What are you two doing here?" Molly asked.
"This isn't good, Molly! All of our siblings were captured by those weird Heartless creatures." Dylan explained. "They are in that crate up there."
Molly looked up to see a giant crate being lifted in the sky by a helicopter.
"What about our parents? Are they okay?" Dolly asked.
Molly started to feel guilty for not being able to protect their parents like she promised. "I'm sorry. Cruella and Hunter captured them. They have Libby too. We have to stop the De Vils and save our friends and family."
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's hurry up!" Dolly said before speeding up.
With that, Molly, Dylan, and Dolly continued their pursuit of the De Vils, stopping at nothing to save their loved ones. Molly had no idea where Cruella was taking the puppies, but she hoped that Libby and all of the other poor dalmatians would be okay when she comes to their rescue.
