With another song coming to an end, Tarrant gently released Alice's hand, his eyes twinkling with a mischievous smile. "Do you remember you said before that you wanted to see me dance the Futterwacken dance?" He bent slightly and winked at her.
Alice recalled the casual conversation when she had mentioned her interest in this ancient and passionate dance. "Of course I remember," she responded with a smile, her eyes sparkling with anticipation and curiosity.
Tarrant didn't say much more, just stepped back a few paces and stood before her. He adopted the standard Futterwacken stance, knees slightly bent, feet moving quickly and agilely, as if he were born to master this ancient and intricate dance. His feet glided smoothly across the floor, his body pulsating with the rhythm, each movement filled with dramatic exaggeration and precision. He lifted his top hat with both hands, his body moving in rhythm with the melody, his actions seeming exaggerated yet full of rhythmic sense. His tuxedo fluttered in the dance floor, his steps light and moving with the wind. The music shifted to a lively melody, and Tarrant's feet struck the floor swiftly and accurately, each spin exuding an uninhibited vitality. His dance steps were powerful yet elegant, his entire being dancing to the music.
Alice watched in fascination, amazed by Tarrant's proficiency. She applauded, her eyes full of wonder. "Tarrant, that's so crazy!"
Tarrant stopped spinning, walked back to her with a smile, bent slightly, and extended his hand. "So, Miss Alice, let me teach you how to dance."
Alice hesitated for a moment, then smiled, a hint of anticipation in her heart. "Okay, but I'm not as flexible as you."
"It's okay, I'll teach you," Tarrant gently took her hand and gently guided her into the dance stance. "Firstly, follow the rhythm of the music without being too nervous, just feel the melody beneath your feet."
He gently led her to take a step forward, her movements somewhat clumsy. Alice chuckled softly, "I'm like a duck that doesn't really know how to walk."
Tarrant's smile was full of encouragement. "Take it slow, Alice, you've already done a great job. Now, try spinning – remember to look into my eyes, don't look at your feet." As he spoke, he led Alice through a graceful spin, and although their movements were not perfect, the chemistry between them made this moment light and joyful.
Alice gradually relaxed, and under Tarrant's guidance, she began to follow the rhythm, occasionally stepping on his feet, but their laughter floated with their dance steps. The surrounding Wonderland residents also began to laugh, seeing their clumsy yet joyful dance, and couldn't help but smile knowingly. A few young people even began to imitate them, trying to learn the Futterwacken dance, but they were also a source of endless laughter, filling the entire hall with a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
Tarrant and Alice continued to dance until they were almost exhausted. The Red Queen and the White Queen also entered the dance floor, leading their attendants to join in the dance. Alice's Wonderland friends, the White Rabbit Maxwell, the Cheshire Cat, Absolem, Mary, Sackred, Bayard, and others, also walked onto the dance floor, and the entire palace was instantly filled with the melodies of joy and dance. Everyone danced to the music, laughter and cheers echoing, as if the entire Wonderland was reveling in this night of abandon.
