"There it is," Trixie says with a nervous gulp while pointing over at a cave as we see the Shane Gang passing through a creepy nightmarish forest on their Mecha Beasts. "Deadweed Cavern."

"Huh, reminds me of the cavern from where I found Driller when I was 11-years-old." Genji pointed out as Trixie nodded and then turned to Kord with a sly grin on her face.

"Hey, Kord, I dare you to go near it." Trixie dared Kord as he flinched worriedly.

"...Uh...well, you see, I..." Kord says nervously as the Shane Twins spotted this and snorted as they began laughing.

"Oh, come on, Kord, sure, it's a little creepy looking, but, what's the big deal?" Eli asked with a raised eyebrow as Leroy nodded.

"Yeah, it's not the weirdest or dangerous cave that we have gone through yet."

"We're passing by. Quick, hold your breath, or the evil spirits will get in your nose." Trixie says as she and Kord hold their breaths.

"Oh, come on, guys, that's just an old superstition." Genji pointed out with a laugh as a smug-faced Pronto nodded.

"Indeed. Pronto agrees with Genji. Pronto holds his breath for nothing." Pronto boasted...until he looked over at the door with the skull and crossbones mark on them and grew scared as the Molenoid sweatdropped nervously. "But maybe just to be safe," Pronto says while holding his breath as Eli laughs amusedly.

"Man, you guys crack us up."

"Anyway, let's go in for a closer look," Leroy says with a sly grin as he, Eli, and Genji turn around to walk over to Deadweed Cavern as the Shane Gang tried to stop them, but were still holding their breaths as the trio ignored them and walked up to the door leading to the dangerous and spooky cave as Trixie and the others had no choice but stopped holding their breaths as they then ran up to them.

"Guys! Don't be fools!"

"Hey, Genji, isn't Deadweed where Frightgeist Slugs come from?" Leroy asked excitedly while he and the others jumped off from their Mecha Beasts as Genji nodded.

"That's what I heard, yes,"

"Then let's go see if we can get some," Leroy says with a smug smirk as Eli nods and turns back to their scared team.

"Come on, guys, where's your sense of adventure?"

"This is a place of unspeakable dangers!" Pronto says nervously as Kord nods.

"Yeah, the only thing you guys will find in there is Ghosts."

"Well, we ain't afraid of no ghosts," Genji says with the Shane Twins giving him a surprised look and snorted as they shared a laugh. "Anyway, don't worry, guys, we'll be in and out before you know it," Genji says while he and the Shane Twins open the door as Trixie and Pronto are shaken with fear.

"But if Ghosts show up, who are we gonna call?" Trixie asked nervously as the Shane Twins shared a mischievous grin.

"Ghostbusters!" The Shane Twins exclaimed while singing the Ghostbusters Theme Song as the Shane Gang stared at them in bewilderment and confusion.

"Anyway, if you guys are THAT scared about the nonexistent Ghosts, then we will go in first," Eli says reassuringly as Leroy nods.

"We'll be back in a minute," Leroy says as he, Eli, and Genji make their way inside Deadweed Cavern and the Shane Gang share nervous looks before hearing their friends scream fearfully side as they then ran inside Deadweed Cavern to try and save their friends, only for three shadowy figures to walk up to them and yell-

"BOOO!" Eli, Leroy, and Genji exclaimed, scaring the Shane Gang so much that they crashed down into the ground as the trio began laughing loudly.

"Oh! You! I hate you three so much!" A frustrated and angry Pronto screamed as Eli laughed.

"You should've seen the look on your faces!"

"It was priceless!" Leroy says as the Shane Gang stood up from the floor and glared at them angrily.

"Guys, that was so not cool!" A heavily embarrassed and blushing Trixie yelled as Genji laughed and reached over to pat her head.

"Come on, babe, it was just a prank. It's no big deal." Genji says just as a big wind blows the door shut as the Shane Gang hears a windy moan, shocking the group as they then turn around to run over and try to kick open the door leading out of Deadweed Cavern, but it doesn't work as Kord cursed loudly.

"Fuck! It won't budge! We're trapped in here!" Kord screamed just as a loud bat screech rang out inside of the tunnel as the Shane Gang were left spooked and unsettled by this.

"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all," Eli says with a nervous gulp as a pale-faced Leroy nods.

"Agreed, bro."

A smirking Eli and Leroy Shane, who were wearing their casual Earth Outfits, can be seen hanging out in the Surface World before being swiftly warped over to Slugterra while wearing their Shane Uniforms as an evilly smirking Dr. Blakk appeared and quickly aimed his blasters at them, only to be surprised to see Genji Fukuhara, Pronto Geronimole, Beatrice 'Trixie' String, and Kord Zane appearing onto the scene as the Shane Gang aimed their blasters at the shocked supervillain and fired their Slugs at him as we then see Burpy, Thunder, Driller, and all of the Shane Gang's Slugs appearing on the screen with the title of the story appearing above them as they all waved at the readers cheerfully/cutely.

"This is a mistake, I tell you! We should've waited by the door!" Pronto yelled nervously as we see the Shane Gang making their way through Deadweed Cavern.

"Pronto, you know that no one regularly goes by Deadweed Cavern. It could take years before anyone finds us here again, so that's why we all decided to find another way back out." Genji pointed out as Trixie nodded and reached behind her to pull out her camera to begin recording.

"And film some ghosts."

"I'd settle for some people," Eli says as Genji nods and turns to Pronto curiously.

"What exactly happened to the people here, by the way?"

"Well, this place used to be a busy goldmine, but then years ago, it was left suddenly abandoned. Many ventured in to see why, only to emerge screaming in fear, or worse, never seen again."

"Oh, yes, we are going to find a new Slug and solve a mystery at the same time. Let's fucking go." Leroy cheered while sharing a fistbump with Eli as Trixie shrugged.

"Either way, it's gonna make some great footage."

"Of our gruesome demise." Pronto says with a nervous tone as he gulped. "Just make me look heroic when the hungry Ghosts come to eat my molenoid brains."

"Did you say brains?" A bewildered Eli asked as Pronto nodded.

"Yes, of course. We Molenoids have two brains...which makes me twice as scared and twice as tasty." Pronto says with an anxious tone as a thick fog suddenly appeared and enveloped the group. "The fog is too thick. I can't see anything. We should turn back while we still have our brains."

"Nobody wants to eat your brains, Pronto," Leroy says with a joking tone as Pronto hears this and grows angry.

"Hey! What's wrong with my brains?!"

"Well..." Leroy says with a sly grin as he and the others share a laugh as Trixie is still recording when something runs past her and shivers in fear.

"I've got something that'll cut right through this fog," Kord says while pulling out a Sonar Scope as he then attaches it to his blaster. "Sonar Scope." Kord says while holding out his blaster as they begin walking forward. "All clear. Oh yeah. This baby works like a charm," Kord says just as a swarm of bats flew past them as they all flinched in surprise.

"Are you sure that thing's working?" Eli asked as Kord chuckled in embarrassment.

"Sorry. I put it on backwards."

"That's it! I'm leading us to an exit." Pronto says as he is about to turn around to walk away, but is stopped by Eli as he gives him a reassuring smile.

"Come on, this is fun. This place reminds me of Halloween."

"What's a Halloween?" A heavily confused Genji asked as the Shane Twins flinched nervously, reminding themselves that they had to keep the above world a secret as they shared an anxious look.

"...Uh...it's an Old Shane Tradition. Once a year, we dress up in scary costumes and get candy from the neighbors." Eli explained as Trixie blinked slowly.

"That sounds like extortion," A disturbed and freaked-out Trixie says as the Shane Twins shrug sheepishly and the gang walks forward as Pronto trembles fearfully. "Wow, Pronto, I've never seen you so scared."

"Pronto is not scared! Pronto is-,"

"Turn back!"

"...terrified!" Pronto screamed panickedly as the Shane Gang grew scared by that mysterious voice.

"Uh, I could be wrong but, that sounded like a voice," Kord said as Eli shook his head in disagreement.

"Or a sick owl."

"It was saying, 'Turn back', though," Genji pointed out as Leroy groaned.

"Guys, it was just the wind. How many times do we have to tell you that Ghosts don't exist."

"Yeah. I guess you're right." Kord says with a nod before noticing a hard hat lying around as he bends down to grab it and places it on his hand as the Cave Troll then turns to give Pronto a teasing look. "Hey, Pronto. Look, another brain-eating ghost."

"Ha-ha! Very funny, Mr. Cave Troll Man," Pronto says with a glare just as a bunch of Ghosts wearing Miners' Clothes appear out of nowhere as they all hissed angrily.

"Ghosts?!"

"I TOLD YOU SO!" Pronto screamed as the rest of the Shane Gang then grew serious and raised their blasters to fire multiple Slugs at the Ghosts, only for all of them to go through their bodies as Leroy cursed.

"Damn it! Ghosts are intangible beings! Our Slugs are useless against them!"

"Don't worry, guys, I have a secret family technique that will help us out against the Ghosts..." Genji said with a serious glare as the Shane Gang turned to him expectantly. "...RUN AWAY!" Genji screamed worriedly while turning around to run away as the others followed after him and they ran over to get inside a cart as the Shane Gang rode forward and began riding away from the Ghosts as Trixie was still recording them.

"Ha, ha! Eat our dust, Ghosts!"

"You know, I'm surprised that the Ghosts are not flying after us." A surprised Leroy says as Eli scoffed and turned to him.

"I'm surprised that Ghosts are real period. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes." Eli says just as the mining cart slowed down as a bunch of Ghosts appeared and were planning to attack the scared Shane Gang...but then a train whistle blew, making the Ghosts growl and turn around to leave as the group was left relieved yet confused by this.

"That's right! Run, you ghosts! Fear me!" Pronto shouted with a laugh as a bewildered Trixie raised an eyebrow

"Why'd they leave?" Trixie asked suspiciously just as the train whistle rang out again as the Shane Gang shared a worried look and walked forward through a tunnel as they hid behind some rocks and spotted a train track down below as the train whistle rang out as well.

"What is this place?" Eli asked as Leroy raised an eyebrow confusedly.

"And what's a train track doing here in an abandoned cave?"

"That's what I want to know," Kord says just as Dr. Blakk's Slugterran Express appears on the scene as he narrows his eyes stoically. "The Slugterran Express? What's it doing all the way down here?"

"Yeah, Deadweed Cavern never had a stop before." Genji says as Trixie nods.

"This is new. Like really new." Trixie says just as Diablos Nachos appears out of Dr. Blakk's Slugterran Express as the Shane Gang gasps in shock and anger.

"Is that who I think it is?" Eli asked as Pronto nodded grimly.

"Dr. Blakk's most feared enforcer, El Diablos Nacho," Pronto whispered as Leroy snorted and began laughing.

"I'm sorry, I can't take that name seriously," Leroy says just as two of Dr. Blakk's Guards walked up to Diablos, who scowled as he narrowed his eyes stoically.

"You have one hour. Put your suits on and get to work." Diablos ordered as Dr. Blakk's Guards nodded fearfully and turned around to walk away.

"What is going on down here?" Eli asked as Trixie turned her camera and noticed the Ghosts walking over to Diablos and the others.

"They're back," Trixie says with a sing-songy and creepy tone as Dr. Blakk's Guards turn around to run away fearfully.

"Turn back!"

"My answer is still no!" A glaring Diablos says while holding up a Red Ghoul Shell containing a Ghoul Nightgeist.

"Is that a Frightgeist Slug?" A confused Leroy asked as Genji shook his head.

"It used to be. That one's been Ghouled. Now it's a Nightgeist." Genji says just as Diablos raises his blaster and fires a Ghoul Nightgeist, which transformed from his Mutated Protoform to his Velocity Form as he collided against the Leader of the Ghosts with its Paranoyd Attack, causing all of the Ghosts to grow scared and turn around to run away as Diablos laughed evilly. "It turns you into a quivering coward until the effects wear off."

"How did his Slugs hit while ours went right through?" A suspicious Eli asked as Trixie shrugged.

"Maybe because his Slugs were Ghouled. Who knows what happens when Blakk changes them?"

"Did you hear the Ghosts? They told him to turn back too. Turn back from what?" Leroy wondered as Diablos then turned back to his men.

"Alright, men! We're going in! Open the doors!" Diablos ordered as one of Dr. Blakk's Guards pressed a button on the Control Room, opening a gate to another part of the cavern and Diablos hopped on as the train rolled right in.

"We need to know what these guys are up to." Leroy says as he and the others nod and jump out of cover as they run over to try and go through the gate, only for it to slam itself shut as Eli groans.

"Damn, we're too late. We're gonna have to get into that control room."

"Leave that to me," Kord says with a sly grin as we fast forward in time and we cue over to Dr. Blakk's Control Room as Dr. Blakk's Guard heard someone knock on the door.

"Trick 'r' Treat!" The Shane Twins said in unison as Dr. Blakk's Guard raised an eyebrow curiously and walked over to the door.

"What's the password?"

"Uh, ouch?"

"Huh? Ou-OUCH!" Dr. Blakk Guard says before Kord kicks the door open as it slams the guard against the wall and gets knocked out as the rest of the Shane Gang runs into Dr. Blakk's Control Room.

"Look for anything unusual, and see if you can find a switch to open that tunnel door," Leroy instructed as the Shane Gang began looking around and Trixie came across a billboard filled with pictures of miners.

"Take a look at this guy," Trixie says while pointing over to one of the pictures of the Miners as Eli walks up to her with a raised eyebrow.

"What's unusual about a miner?" Eli asked as Trixie used her camera to project a hologram of the Ghosts when they were chasing after them earlier.

"He's one of the ghosts we fought earlier. It's the same guy."

"See? He was once alive, now he's a ghost. Case closed." Pronto says with a nervous tone as Trixie shakes her head.

"Case not closed, Pronto. We need to find out how the Ghosts died."

"Wait, what if the miners of Deadweed didn't leave? They said, 'Turn back'. Maybe it was a warning to us to get out of here before what happened to them happens to us." Genji theorized as Pronto shivered in fear.

"Very good advice. I suggest we follow it."

"Not until we figure out what Dr. Blakk is taking from this place," Leroy said as an upset Pronto pouted and slumped back onto a lever, pushing it back and opening the door to a new room as the Shane Twins perked up.

"Nice work, Pronto." Eli praised as the Shane Gang walked into the room and went over to stare out into the window to see that the cavern that the train entered had a giant well pumping in some weird red water substance.

"Whoa, they got a full-grown mining operation going on here," Kord says as Trixie then spots some of Dr. Blakk's Guards in hazmat suits loading barrels of the red water onto the train's baggage cars.

"What is that stuff?

"You don't bust out the safety suits for nothing. They're handling something dangerous here." Eli guessed with a serious glare as Kord and Genji grew worried.

"Uh, guys? That's Dark Water." Genji says as Kord nods.

"Yeah, the Old Trolls used to call it Karum-Zanul, which means Dark Water. Our home cavern was about as deep as this one. Sometimes a little bit of that stuff would seep up through the cracks. Strange things would happen around it. Unnatural things." Kord says with a nervous gulp as Trixie raises an eyebrow confusedly.

"So, what do they want with Dark Water?"

"Guys, look." Eli says while pointing ahead as they spot Diablos walking up to an unloaded barrel holding a cage and a Dr. Blakk Guard opens the barrel and takes a scoop of Dark Water into a ladle and pours it into a little tube on the Ghouling Machine as Diablos took the Hop Rock in the cage and placed it into the barrel as the barrel sunk into the machine, trapping the Slug in it as another one of Dr. Blakk's Guards pushed a button and dark clouds started forming around the poor Slug, draining the Dark Water from the tube as Diablos smirked evilly and chuckled as the clouds faded, revealing a Hop Jack Ghoul as said Ghoul then fell down and came out in a ghoul barrel as Diablos took the Ghoul Red Shell. "This is how Blakk changes regular slugs into ghouls. He uses Dark Water."

"With a well like that, Blakk could turn every Slug in Slugterra evil," Genji says as a serious Leroy glared.

"Well, if we cut off Blakk's supply of Dark Water, we stop him from Ghouling Slugs. We need to take out that well."

"Uh, uh, no thank you, I am not dealing with this," Pronto says with a glare as the Shane Gang turns to scowl at him in annoyance at his cowardice.

"Come on, Pronto."

"Don't you 'Come on, Pronto' Pronto, Genji. I refuse to let anything unnatural happen to me." Pronto says while turning around to leave, only to find Trixie standing in front of him as she places her hands on her hips with a glare on her face.

"You can't leave."

"You can do anything if you put your mind to it," Pronto says as the Shane Twins walk up to him.

"You're right. The odds are not in our favor and yeah, you're afraid of Ghosts."

"But we know something you're not afraid of. You're not afraid to do the right thing...especially if it means fame and glory." Leroy says as Pronto perks up, loving that idea as he grins arrogantly.

"Yes, the glory, okay, Pronto is in! But we cannot attack! There is a better way!" Pronto says with a mischievous grin while gesturing over at a rack filled with hazmat suits as the Shane Twins beamed and shared a smirk as they then ran over to grab the hazmat suits.

"...This isn't gonna work," Kord says with a deadpan tone as we see the Shane Gang walking around in the cavern while wearing hazmat suits as Eli turns to him.

"Yes, it will. I don't see Diablos around and everybody's busy doing their thing and these hazmats will help disguise us."

"And it makes Trixie look beautiful." Genji flirted as Trixie blushed and Leroy then turned to Kord.

"Kord, you and Genji said that strange things would happen around this stuff. Like what kind of things?"

"Well, it was sort of like the life was sucked right out of you," Kord says as Genji gasps in realization.

"No wonder they have protective suits. The miners aren't Ghosts."

"They just got exposed to the Dark Water." Eli says while putting the pieces together as the Co-Leader of the Shane Gang then glares over at the well. "Maybe if we shut down the well, the miners might un-ghost."

"How do we shut this thing off, though?" Leroy asked as Trixie grinned excitedly.

"I say we just blow it up."

"And flood the cavern? No thanks." Leroy says with a scoff as Kord nodded in agreement.

"We're just gonna have to get up to the pump and shut it down manually."

"What about the guards?" Genji asked as Pronto grinned cockily.

"Oh please. All this needs is a little persuasive charisma." Pronto says while walking forward and ignoring the group's protest to come back as he walks up to two of Dr. Blakk's Guards. "Get out of my way, you ugly pigs!" Pronto shouted, making them glare down at him as the Shane Twins appeared.

"You heard him! Move it, ugly pigs!"

"We have a potential leak here! Look what happened to this guy!" Leroy says while gesturing at Pronto, who feels insulted as Eli nods.

"Unless you wanna go for a swim, get back to the train!" Eli ordered as Dr. Blakk's Guards shared nervous looks and turned around to walk away as the Shane Twins then ran over to the Well's Control Panel. "Alright. Let's shut her down."

"I don't know, man. Easier said than done. It's not like there's an on/off switch." Kord says just as Diablos notices them standing in front of the Well's Control Panel and instantly realizes who they are as he pulls out his blaster and runs forward.

"Come on! Think, Troll! Think!"

"Think faster! They're going to realize we're up to something eventually!" A worried Pronto yelled just as a Hop Jack Ghoul was shot at them as the Shane Gang spotted a scowling Diablos riding down the hill, firing another ghoul at them as the group ran for cover.

"Quit standing around! We've got intruders!" Diablos screamed as all of Dr. Blakk's Guards then armed themselves and began firing multiple Ghouls at the Shane Gang, who hid behind cover as Eli tried to fire back but dodged the incoming Ghoul as two of Dr. Blakk's Guards raised their blasters and fired three Ghoul Hop Jacks, which transformed from their Mutated Protoforms to their Velocity Forms as Trixie and Genji reacted quickly by firing their Bubbaleone Slug, Pummeler the Rammstone Slug, and Silky the Arachnet Slug, which transformed from their Protoforms to their Velocimorph Forms as Bubbaleone swallowed up one of the Hop Jack Ghouls, allowing it to explode in his stomach as Pummeler threw a strong punch at the second Hop Jack Ghoul, and Silky fired a web that trapped the final Hop Jack Ghoul as the Shane Twins raised their blasters and fired Noodle the Flopper Slug and Whirlpool the Tormato Slug, which transformed from their Protoforms to their Velocimorph Forms as Flopper used his Stretching Supermove to wrap himself around one of Dr. Blakk's Guards, restraining him as Whirlpool used his Slyphoon Supermove to spin in the air, producing a rampaging tornado that spun the screaming Dr. Blakk's Guard away.

"Guys, Genji, Leroy, and I will hold them off!" Eli ordered with a glare as Leroy nodded.

"You guys figure out how to shut this thing down for good!" Leroy says as Shane Gang nods and turns around to leave as Diablos runs forward to fire a Ghoul at the trio, who dodged the attack as they held up their blasters and Eli and Genji fire Joules the Tazerling Slug and Reek the Flatulorhinkus Slug, which transformed from their Protoforms to their Velocimorph Forms as Reek used his Gastroblast Supermove to barf out a spray of disgusting greenish gas that collided against Diablos' body, making his eyes and skin burn as Joules used his Tazercoil Supermove to latched onto Diablos and began shocking repeatedly on impact as Leroy raised his blaster and fired Blizzard the Frostcrawler Slug, which transformed from his Protoform to his Velocimorph Form as Blizzard used his Freezard Supermove and blows freezing wind that froze Diablos in a big block of ice as he was able to eventually break out of it an raised his blaster as he fired his Nightgeist Ghoul, which transformed from his Mutated Protoform to his Velocity Form as he collided against Eli and used his Paranoyd Supermove to create an uncontrollable fright response, allowing Eli to see visions of horrifying things as he screamed in fear.

"It's after me! Make it stop!" Eli screamed panickedly while turning around to run away as a worried Leroy and Genji turned around to run after him as the rest of Dr. Blakk's Guards continued blasting several Ghouls at the Shane Gang, who took cover again as Pronto smirked smugly.

"This will flush them out," Pronto says while raising his blaster and firing his Rammstone Slug, which transformed from his Protoform to his Velocimorph Form as he collided against the pipes behind Dr. Blakk's Guards, breaking the chain holding the pipes and they toppled down to crash on top of them to knock them out. "That's right! You better run back to your mother and tell her that Pronto sent you!"

"Hey, bro, calm down, it's just us, Eli. Leroy and Genji." Leroy says to quiver Eli in the mine tunnels and he and Genji were able to comfort the Co-Leader of the Shane Gang enough for the effects of the Paranoyd Supermove to wear off as he groaned.

"Y-Yeah, I'm okay. That thing scared the shit out of me, though."

"Never mind that, we gotta get back to the team," Leroy says just as a slight moaning came from the tunnel and three little Ghosts appeared, forcing the trio to grow serious and raise their blasters as they aimed them at the three Ghosts, who revealed to be three Frightgeist Slugs as the trio sighed in relief. "Oh, good, they are not Ghosts."

"You three must be Frightgeist Slugs. That was quite the trick you guys just pulled." Genji says as Eli nods.

"We could use guys like you on our team," Eli says while he and the others hold out their hands as the Frightgeist Slugs leaped over to land in the boy's hands. "I think that I'll call you...Spooker,"

"I will call you...Nightmare."

"And I will call you...Scarecrow." Eli, Leroy, and Genji say as the Frightgeist Slugs smile and nod just as the Miner Ghosts appear as the trio hold out their hands defensively.

"Wait! Wait! We're on the same side! All of this started when Blakk dug that Dark Water well, didn't it?"

"All this time, you were just warning people to stay away so the same thing wouldn't happen to them."

"My friends and I are trying to put an end to all this. Will you help us fight?" Eli, Leroy, and Genji say as the Mine Ghosts glance at each other and back at them as they nod and we cue back to the others as we see that the Shane Gang is being overwhelmed by Dr. Blakk's Guards as Kord holds out his blaster and fired his Polero Slug, which transformed from his Protoform to his Velocimorph Form as he flew over to cause one of the Guards to be dropped.

"We need to find another way to shut this place down," Kord says as a nervous Trixie turns to him.

"We're completely outnumbered."

"Where are the others?" Pronto asked with an annoyed tone as we see Diablos making his way through the tunnels.

"Where are you, Shane Twins?"

"Right here!" The Shane Twins exclaimed in unison while they and Genji appeared on the left as a bunch of Miner Ghosts were standing near them.

"You do not frighten me."

"No? Well, we can change all that." The Shane Twins and Genji said in unison while raising their blasters as they all fired Spooker the Frightgeist Slug, Nightmare the Frightgeist Slug, and Scarecrow the Frightgeist Slug, which transformed from their Protoforms to their Velocimorph Forms as they all collided against Diablos' body, using their Frightningrod Supermove to have Diablos gain an overwhelming, uncontrollable fright response as he screamed like a little girl and turned around to run away as he ran back to the others and the Shane Gang and Dr. Blakk's Guards turned to him confusedly as Diablos ran over to Dr. Blakk's Slugterran Express Train just as the Shane Twins, Genji, and the Miner Ghosts ran out as all of the guards went over to get onto the train fearfully.

"Take us out of here! Now!" Diablos ordered as the guards began working on the train and started moving.

"Stop that train!" Eli ordered just as Diablos raised his blaster and fired a Hop Jack Ghoul, which transformed from his Mutated Protoform to his Velocity Form as he flew over to collide against Dr. Blakk's Control Room, destroying it completely as Dr. Blakk's Slugterran Express Train made it out just as the tunnel caved in as the area around them began shaking.

"That ghoul took out the control room!" A concerned Leroy yelled as Kord nodded.

"And that took out all of the fail safes!"

"This thing's gonna blow!" Trixie yelled just as Dark Water started spurting out from the pipe as a serious Genji glared.

"We need to plug that pipe!" Genji yelled as Kord looked around for something to plug the pipe with and noticed Pronto stuck in another pipe as he got an idea and went over to pull his Molenoid friend free.

"You're perfect!"

"Of course, I am...wait, perfect for what?" Pronto asked just as Kord slammed him down into the pipe, causing a rumbling noise from the pipe being blocked as a nervous Pronto braced himself for whatever came next, but the rumbling stopped, which meant the Dark Water stopped flowing from the pipe as he perked up. "Once again, Pronto has saved the day!" Pronto boasted arrogantly as we then fast forward in time and we see Kord welding a lid onto the pipe, permanently sealing the well as all of the Shane Gang had taken off their hazmat suits.

"Alright, guys. That should just about do it. This well is sealed up for good."

"And we'll make sure it stays that way." One of the Miner Ghosts says before he and the others flinch in shock as the Miner Ghosts all turn back into being Humans again. "Hey, the effects! They're wearing off!"

"There, you see? What did I tell you? There's no such thing as ghosts."

"Yeah, right," Genji says with a scoff as Eli turns to one of the Miners curiously.

"What happened here?"

"Well, it's hard to explain, but this place used to be a goldmine and then Blakk Industries bought the company and the business changed. Blakk made us dig the well. Had no idea what it was for until it was too late. We've been trying to stop them, but with those ghoul slugs and our weakened state, we were just no match. If it weren't for you and your team, I'm not sure what would've become of us. What brought you here anyway?"

"Oh, we wanted to go on a Slug Hunt," Leroy explained as the Miner raised an eyebrow curiously and gestured over to a group of Frightgeist Slugs.

"Take one. You can all have one. Call it a thank-you gift for helping us." The Miner says as the Shane Gang perked up and went over to get their own Frightgeist Slug as Genji then spotted a Dirt Urchin Slug and a Sand Angler Slug slithering around as he went over to them.

"Hello, you two, I'm Genji, and we could use a couple of slugs like you to help us out. What do you say? Want to join our team?" Genji asked as the Slugs shared a look and perked as they nodded. "Cool, I guess that I will call you...Arrow and you...Scorpion." Genji said to the Dirt Urchin Slug and the Sand Angler Slug respectively as the Slugs perked up and leaped onto his body as he then walked over to the Shane Twins, who grew somber as the trio shared a serious glare.

"We are in agreement, right, guys?"

"Yeah, this wasn't exactly a victory," Eli says with a heavy sigh as he and Genji nodded in agreement.

"Sure, we shut down the well, but Blakk's men got away with a ton of Dark Water. Who knows how much he's already stockpiled?" Genji asked as Leroy nodded.

"And if he somehow made a deal with whatever's down in the Deep Caverns, no telling what else he could do," Leroy says as we cue over to Blakk's Citadel and we see that Dr. Blakk and Diablos had tons of barrels loaded with Dark Water, stockpiled into multiple shelves as the duo then turned around to leave the Storage Room and a devilishly smirking Diablos reached over to shut the doors close as an ominous noise rang out.
