Chapter 58 Dragon Games 7

Shin and the others were at the Enchanted Forest as they looked around.
Shin then thinks about the others. I hope mother has something plan.
Darling gets off her dragon and walks over to a rustling bush.
"This is no time to stop and smell the flowers, Darling. I thought you knew a secret spot where we could hide." Raven said.
"I don't, but she does." Darling then saw the pixie Featherly come out.
"A woodland pixie, how hexciting! How do you do? The pixies protect the Enchanted Forest; they're very magical." Ashlynn said.
Featherly says a few things in her language.
"What did she say?" Kivat said.
"She says her name is Featherly." Ashlynn said.
Then another one pokes her head out.
"And that's Deerla."
Deerla goes to Darling healing her surprising the girl.
"Well that's useful." Shin said.
"Wow! Good as new!" Darling moves her arm as a new pixie came.
"And this is...Harelow." Ashlynn said.
"We better move somewhere less out in the open." Poppy said.
"Yeah. Please help us, pixies. We need a place to hide from the Evil Queen." Raven said.
They nodded at them and lead them to a safe place.
"I sure hope everyone's okay back at Ever After." Ashlynn said.
"Well, with the Evil Queen in charge, who can say?" Poppy said.
"Don't worry, with my mother there, she can keep things safe enough, she was a Queen too." Shin had faith in his mother.
"Has anyone seen my brother Daring lately?" Darling asked.
"I saw him at school lots of times, and at the dragon center, and once in a dream, but he was a goat." Maddie said.
"Why, Darling? Are you worried?" Holly said.
"I don't like it. It's not like him to misplace his hand mirror." Darling said.
"Hmmm, that's a good point." Shin said.
One thing Daring always likes, is always looking at himself in the mirror, so where is he?
Back at school
Apple was at her room crying, she looks at picture of Raven and Shin with her together.
I messed everything up. She thinks.
She then remembers the times Shin was always nice to her and the times he even hanged out, like when he she wanted he was nice enough to be there for her.
The times she listens to him play his violin was always a treat as he was beautiful when he played it.
Evil Queen came in. "Why the waterworks? Upset my Raven flew the coop? We'll get her back."
"Everything went wrong! This is not how I thought high school would be!" Apple said.
"Chin up, apple-cheeks. Any idea where your roomie went? Perhaps she's hiding in the Enchanted Forest?" Evil Queen said.
"If I knew, I would tell her she was right about you and beg her to forgive me. You've ruined everything! I was a fool to believe you'd changed, or that you cared about anyone's happily ever after but your own! Now the future of Ever After High is literally up in the air, and it's all my fault!" Apple said.
"Oh, poor, pathetic Apple White. I think our deal is done. Tell you what, since you helped me so very much, here's an apple from the teacher." Evil Queen makes a rotten apple appear.
Apple gasped seeing it. "Gross! I'm not touching that! It looks poison!"
"Of course it's poison! One bite out of this, and you'll enter the next phase of your fairytale." Evil Queen said.
Apple got worried before a blast came through the window surprising them, Evil Queen saw Maya take Apple. "You!"
Maya glares at her before she jumps out with the Apple, they landed on her dragon making them fly away.
Evil Dragons came to attack but Evie and the others had they're dragons open fire to give Maya a clear path.
"Mrs. Kurenai." Apple said.
"I came to save you Apple. I couldn't let you suffer." Maya said.
Faybelle came. "Wow, she came to save her."
"You follow her, you foolish fairy! Report back to me. She will lead us to Raven's hideout and then we will capture her." Evil Queen said.
"Ah. And what about Apple?" Faybelle asked.
"Well, I did promise her her happily ever after. Here, take this." Evil Queen throws her the apple.
Apple saw her dragon fly at her side. "You are a dragon for sore eyes! Time to turn the page! I've got to find Raven, apologize, then get her to help me re-imprison the Evil Queen!"
Her dragon nodded at her.
"Well that's good to hear Apple, also it seems you want to help Shin too." Maya said.
"Well... He's a very sweet boy... Someone I really care." Apple said.
Maya smiles and patted her head. "I think he would understand."
Faybelle was having a hard time following them. "I knew I should have taken a dragon too."
Maya and Apple went to the enchanted forest before a few pixies came out.
"Well hello there." Maya said.
"Wait... Could they be a sign." Apple said.
The pixies lead them and Faybelle saw the scene from a tree. "Ugh, pixies. Wannabe fairies."
Maya and Apple looked around before they saw the group at a campfire as Raven gets firewood.
The group gasped seeing them and Raven looks at Darling. "I thought you said this place was a secret."
"Raven, Shin." Apple goes up to them.
"Apple." Raven was still bitter.
"Raven, let her talk." Shin said.
"I'm sorry, I was selfish." Apple said.
"Go on." Raven said.
"Your mom hasn't changed, I had. And now I want to change again - for the better, for good. I know I can't turn back the pages, but I believe-I believe we can all have our happily ever afters, but not until we stop your mom." Apple said.
Raven smiles with Shin as they they're hands on her shoulders.
"Together we can do it." Shin said.
"Yeah, friend." Raven said.
The girls smiled at the scene.
After that the dragons went to sleep and the pixies offered the group food.
"Why, thank you, Featherly. The pixies say if we plan to face the Evil Queen, we need to nourish ourselves." Ashlynn said.
"This is going to be fairy, fairy dangerous. The Evil Queen has some of the school into creatures! The place is like a mile high off the ground, and surrounded by dark, dark dragons." Apple said.
"We still have ways." Shin had hope. "If we can work together."
Apple takes a bite from a apple but she starts to cough.
"Apple!" Shin goes to check on her.
Raven goes to her side too and saw the apple she ate vanish. "Where did that come from?!"
"What kind of apple turns black?" Holly said.
Ashlynn holds on to Apple and she whispers something to her before she closed her eyes.
"Can you understand what she's saying?" Holly asked.
"She says how this fairytale ends is up to you now, Raven, Shin." Ashlynn said.
Shin was in shock and checks on her. "Apple?"
She then snores making them calm down a bit.
"She's breathing, all right." Poppy said.
Faybelle came with evil dragons. "Get Raven Queen!"
Maya glares at them and blasted them away making the dragons scared running off.
"No! Heel! What are you, dragons or chickens?" Faybelle then grabs on to the tail of one she had before it goes off.
The next day, Apple is being put in a flower coffin and her friends are gathered around with flowers in their hands.
"Do you think she'll snore for years and years and years and years?" Maddie's eyes start welling up, but she receives a nudge from Darling.
"I can't bear to see Apple like this." Ashlynn said.
"Apple, this can't be how it ends." Shin said.
"Where is Daring when we need him?" Ashlynn said.
Raven puts a rose on her. "You apologized to me, but I never got a chance to apologize to you. I brought all this evil to Ever After High! As soon as I realized I didn't wanna play my part, I should have run far away! To a place where nobody has even heard of the Evil Queen! Or Snow White! Or even fairytales, at all."
Shin hugs her. "It's not your fault. You never wanted that to happen. It's the Evil Queen's fault."
"I should have given into my mother from chapter 1! Maybe I-I could have led her to a land far, far, away!" Raven the gasps. "Maybe...maybe it's not too late!"
"What?! Raven you can't go back to her." Shin said.
No! Don't do it, Raven! There has to be a better way! Giving in to your mother won't wake Apple. That's what you want, isn't it? To save our friend?" Darling takes out the booking glass." Only the right kiss will set her free: Daring."
"Free Daring." The mirror said.
Daring then comes out surprising them.
"Seriously!" Kivat said. "That's where he was at!"
"Daring. That's where you've been!" Darling said.
"Don't look at me! I'm hideous! I was trapped in there without a hair brush!" Daring said.
"The mirror. That's it! The way to capture my mother!" Raven said making them smile.
"Someone should have told the Evil Queen shattering a mirror brings bad luck!" Darling said.
"And so, Raven and her friends set out to battle the biggest drama queen ever after. Will they be able to take back the school? Will Daring follow his destiny and wake Apple? Oh, so much pressure! At least they won't have to study for hexams, too! I for one, can't wait to see what happens next chapter." Brooke said.
"I hope so too." Shin looks at her.
"Yeah me too Shin." She said.
Shin looks at Apple, he really hopes they can wake her up, she's still very important to him too.
Note: Apple has now fallen to her deep slumber and it's getting close to the end, now for a certain guest that complains not having enough romance, I can't force romantic moments, i'm trying to slowly build it up one at a time, like Shin is less confident than others in dating being shy, i'm already doing Apple with the events that are happening, if I were to force it, then what's the point, as Shin wants to be friends first then see if something happens later on, if you can't accept that, then you shouldn't be reading this, also i'm not making more characters for the other girls, it's just Shin here.
