Cleo Pov:

"Summer. When I first went on summer vacation with Deuce along with my family back in Boo York City, things ended with him breaking up with me believing I could do better and focus on my future as becoming a proper queen of my family's business. While what Deuce did was cruel and made me become a cold-hearted mummy toward everyone who tried to surpass me, I can understand what he did out of concern. He didn't need to do it since Deuce was the only one that made me feel normal and not need to be serious all the time. Yet secretly? I think that was the kindest thing he's ever done for me and has made me love him even more. Though I told him if he ever attempted to do it again, I'd turn him into a wrapped-up trophy friend and imprison him in my sarcophagus for all eternity. Just because he deceived me doesn't mean I'm letting him out of my sight, he's just so cute and I missed turning people to stone whenever someone got my nerves. But for this summer? It's going to be perfect, and I'll have no one get in the middle between us."

Morning-Monster High

It was a busy morning at the school and the students were packing up the necessities along with anything they would need for their trip to Bermuda Triangle. Within Deuce's room along with his adoptive sister Mira, who had been feeling confident with herself after learning about her mother's past along with how she was viewed as a goddess.

"It's amazing that will be flying on a plane to the Bermuda Triangle. I've never been on one before."

Mira spoke with excitement since she'd never been on a plane due to her not needing any method of transportation. However, it was different since they were traveling overseas to attend the annual fear-leading competition that was being held there.

"I'm sure you'll enjoy it. The last time I was on one was when our moms were traveling to Rome so they could attend the Mythology reunion party with old friends. My sisters would mess with me to pass the time."

Her brother responded that the Bermuda Triangle had been home to hold numerous conventions for the monster community after its discovery. They continued packing their belongings until they heard a knock on the door which Deuce went to check on, it was Ceasar who was wearing a button-up flower shirt with the addition of shorts and glasses that made him appear like he was on vacation.

"I was coming over to make sure you all had everything needed for the Fear-leading competition. Such as your Icoffin, the clothes that Cleo bought you, and the luggage that she gave Mire to keep her belongings in."

The Shisha boy listed several things that Cleo had given to her boyfriend and his sister since she got back together with him. Deuce nodded at the things that she'd dropped off for the two when they'd got ready to head out of the school and to the airport. It felt strange for her to be this giving to him since it was the other way around when they dated each other in the past.

"We got everything ready for the journey. Especially the spots that Cleo wants to visit since she and the ghouls will have spare time before the competition begins."

Deuce responded to Caesar since he owed her a lot of quality time due to them not being together. Mira couldn't help herself from what would be happening as she was ready to run out of the building and rush over to the airport. With the two siblings continuing to get ready, they heard a sneeze coming from out of nowhere as the Shisha's eyes dilated into a hunter as if someone was spying on them.

"Caesar? Maybe you can help me understand how I can dress up for summer? The same with how you dressed?"

Mira asked which caught Caesar's attention due to him having a sense of fashion when it came to going on vacation. With that being said and leading the Kaiju out of the room, Mira gave Deuce a look at handling the sneezing sound that was made in their room. With the two leaving the room, Deuce made his way to the closet where he opened it up to see Cleo coming out and giving him an impactful kiss while pushing him onto the bed.

"Cleo. You almost got us caught by your bodyguard."

The gorgon spoke in a nervous tone since despite they had rekindled their relationship, Ceasar wasn't taking it easy with Deuce and was treating him how most ex-boyfriends were dealt with in the De Nile family. By chasing them for an entire morning for the months that they had been separated from one another. Meaning that if he saw Cleo in his room and cuddling him, he'd make it his job to make Deuce suffer for the entire week.

"Relax. I'm still in charge of him to that of being the one he's guarding. So whatever I say goes, and what I say. Is that I want to be close to my boyfriend without interruptions."

She declared as Cleo used her bandages to wrap up the door and that of Deuce's body, so he didn't leave her grasp. Noticing how his snakes were afraid of the mummy princess, she couldn't help but let out a laugh at how she was able to get him scared of her.

"I missed these times. Popping out of nowhere and scaring the daylights out of you, with this happening and winning the fear-leading competition. I feel like things are finally going my way."

Explaining how despite being the popular ghoul and having a set of ghouls in her life was an afterlife dream. The fear-leading captain will be winning on the Bermuda Triangle having her boyfriend be a witness to her performance. Just as Cleo spoke foundry of herself, Deuce requested for her to remove the bandages since they were getting tighter with how excited she was acting.

"Glad to hear Cleo. Especially since this will be your friend's first time visiting the Bermuda Triangle, the only ones that are usually allowed on the island are monsters of the highest recognition."

The gorgon responded that Clawdeen and the other new students of Monster High would be the first to visit the ancient island since there had been many stories behind the people who had traveled there. With that being said, Cleo remembered that she had to get Deuce ready for the trip as well as herself and the mummy removed the bandages from the door, so she'd be ready.

"Don't wait up. Or try leaving with Heath and the boys, will be going on the bus together~"

She hummed before leaving the boy to get his bags ready as Deuce's snakes shuttered how scaringly affectionate Cleo could be for Deuce. With that being said he got started on getting ready for the trip, with that going on. There were others past his dorm room where the students were getting the essential items for their trip to the island since they'd be on a remote island that was in the human world. In one of the rooms was Lagoona who was getting her teeth sharpened while Titan was grooming his fins ready for the trip.

"My type of vacation. A large amount of water, a huge amount of meals for us to eat. Last but not least, we see our friends show off their skills at the other schools."

Titan listed off what would be at the resort they'd be traveling to as well as watched Clawdeen and the others display their skills to the other schools who had been practicing for months. Lagoona agreed to that as she double-checked to see if she'd have all her aquatic swimsuits since there were numerous pools scattered across the island that they could hang around. The two made their way out of the room as well as passed by their friends who were bringing down larger baggage as Tusk was having trouble moving and helping Abbey with her bags due to them blocking the staircase.

"Apologies. It seems I've overpacked my belongings, might need help pushing the ice block down the stairs."

The yeti girl requested help from her friends as she was taking in her stuff encased in a large ice block. Unfortunately, Spectra had no issue with the obstacle and phased right through it with her luggage as she made her way downstairs where they would travel onto the bus and be taken to the airport. Across the dorm rooms were Junior and the ghouls who were doing last-second checks on what they were bringing to the Bermuda Triangle.

"The coffin in front of me that keeps me at rest, shrinks to a size where no one can guess."

Draculaura casts a spell where she shrinks her coffin to the size of her phone and places it in her suitcase. The rest were handling their way in heading off such as Frankie who was checking out which limbs would suit best taking, Junior was having trouble with picking out what albums he'd listen to or play with the number of monsters, and Kaiju who be attending. Clawdeen seemed to have been ready for her trip as she was in the middle of a conversation with her father about the trip.

"Are you sure you are up for this? I mean it is one thing to travel into another dimension as well as another city behind my back. An entire island that is known for making things vanish along with people. Remember Amelia Earhart?"

Apollo Wolf reminded her about the disappearance of a well-known pilot who flew near the island and mysteriously vanished off the face of the earth. The wolf ghoul sighed at how her father was being overprotective despite seeing her handle a coven of witches and Ghidorah's father who had half of Draculaura and Junior's powers within him.

"I'll be okay Dad. I can tell you might be nervous about me spending quality time alone with the others since we started dating each other. Right?"

She responded to her father about how the news of her quad relationship had made her father grateful and nervous since it would be a challenge for Clawdeen to manage. Along with that, the two were royal blood of vampires and kaiju families making her half royal. However, there was another matter of him not wanting Clawdeen to go to the island.

"Dad. I promise I'll text you constantly about what I'm doing and will respond to your calls right away."

Promising Apollo that she'd answer him no matter what was happening on the island. With that being said and acknowledging her, they each hung up as Clawdeen felt several eyes looking at her as they came from the others who had seemed to have spied on the last seconds of her video chat with Apollo.

"He means well. Though I don't know why he'd be nervous about you traveling to the Bermuda Triangle. What's so bad about it?"

Junior asked as the lizard boy had slept out in numerous classes that talked about several human locations that were made by monsters. Especially when it came to mysteries that the monster community knew, but the Bermuda Triangle had an impact on the Kaiju realm that seemed to have slipped from Junior's attention.

"It was the first place where Pandora and Gojira had traveled to believing there were Kaiju hidden in the human realm. Most of the story was lost and no one knew what happened, only that it ended badly."

Frankie explained to him how his father and Pandora had attempted to travel into the human world to attempt to meet others like Gojira. It surprised Junior how it was the first time his dad traveled into the human world to attempt to see if there were any Kaiju that inhabited the human world. However, there seemed to be more from the look that Clawdeen was expressing since it held a personal history for her and her dad.

"Attention. All students who will be traveling to the Bermuda Triangle will have five minutes before departure onto the bus."

The announcement told everyone as the four quickly got their belongings and rushed out of the room so they could make it onto the bus. With the students heading down to the lobby and onto the bus, they were going to be led by Vice Principal Varan since headmistress Bloodgood would remain here with the students staying behind.

"I promise you that the trip will not have any issues. I've contacted Soran about you taking over as chaperone, especially how you have a way of gliding in the air."

She teased him as he said nothing due to how they had become better friends since they'd kept a better watch over the school and its students. Meanwhile on the side, Junior was talking with his somewhat rival Ghidorah since the two had come to an understanding that the three-headed boy couldn't become king, though it didn't stop him from being better than him.

"Just because I'm gone doesn't mean I won't hear about the antics you attempt while you're here by yourself."

Junior stated to the alien dragon that he knew Ghidorah would do whatever it took to be better than him. Two of the heads snarled at the comment thinking that if there was a way for the lizard to stop him they'd succeed in becoming better than Junior.

"We're not going to be up for any trouble. We're going to work on our performance for the Hissfits. Toralei wants to take the chance to practice with her cousins for several band battles happening in town."

Kevin expressed to Godzilla Junior about him and his brothers being on their best behavior. Ghidorah and Ikari said nothing but confirmed that they'd be focused on helping out the werecats with their practice. While he was still unsure if they were telling the truth, it was interrupted by the bus's horn calling out for everyone to hop on as the lizard made his way onboard along the rest of the ghouls. The bus soon took off from Monster High and traveled down the road where they would travel through one of the gates that would take the group toward the airport and travel to the Bermuda Triangle.

Later-Monster International Airport

While it was normal for monsters to take traditional means to travel into human locations such as buses and trains. Flight travel was a different method since there were many human aircraft polluting the sky and making it impossible to fly without being noticed. Which left a race of monsters who had an interest in enjoying the air and messing around with technology. Gremlins, which was why they offered to open up an airport that would assist monsters and Kaiju travel to different parts of both human and monster lands. Arriving at the airport, they saw numerous types of monsters and Kaiju moving about to different areas where their planes would be taking off.

"It's a misconception that Gremlins enjoy dismantling human aircraft and fighter jets during the world war. Eighty percent of it is true, but also that their elders could fly amongst the clouds. Several years later, they managed to have their very own successful airport."

Frankie gave their friends a history lesson about gremlins and enjoyed ripping apart planes for the fun of it. The group continued to look around the place where they heard screams coming at one of the numerous lanes as they saw someone riding a go-kart that was custom-made to carry luggage and people to their destination. Taking a moment to step clear of the mad driver, it was a female Gremlin with light green eyes and her specialized uniform to fit her radical personality.

"Welcome to MIA! I'll be your escort driver and passenger companion since this is my last shift before going to the Bermuda Triangle. You can call me Gia Gremlin."

She introduced herself as the ghoul invited them onto the kart they grabbed their belongings and prepared themselves for the ride as each of the monsters felt unsure about the employee driving them to their destination. They saw how overexcited Gia was as she stomped her feet on the pedal as everyone held onto the bars that were attached to the cart where they watched the gremlin ghoul laugh maddeningly as she drove past numerous employees and made monsters move lit of the way.

"I've heard about you a lot back at Monster High. My parents are transferring me there this semester since they heard how chaotic it is. Especially about Your Majesty knocking heads there to prove he's the strongest, no offense."

Gia made small talk to them while driving at the same time as her passengers were holding on to dear life at how recklessly the ghoul was driving. Junior didn't say anything but shrugged toward Gia as he focused on not losing his lunch due to how fast they were going and, importantly he was restraining himself from losing control since they were bumping against the floor as Junior was unable to keep focus.

"Are you sure that we have to go this fast? I'm sure will make it to our plan in time."

Varan asked as he had trouble holding onto the handles as one of them came off due to how poorly built they were. She didn't have time to answer the vice principal's question as the gremlin drove them down a flight of stairs, the gang did their best to hold onto their items as they reached the second level of the airport and Gia continued driving to where their plane was located.

"Are you kidding? The flight to the Bermuda Triangle is getting packed, there's no way I'm getting a bad seat. Let alone allow the king of Kaiju and his friends to sit in the back, the window seats are the best."

Gia informed him as she made a hard right toward the section where the plane was waiting for its passengers to come aboard. The gremlin ghoul smirked at the gang before grabbing her bags and running toward the door where she'd get a good seat while the others took the moment to step off the cart and try not to pass out. It didn't help that their transportation collapsed to pieces right when Tusk came off as the Kaiju Yeti was stunned at how their vehicle was able to withstand their combined weight.

"Ok. Screw this, I'm swimming to the Bermuda Triangle."

Junior declared that he didn't want to take his chances on flying a craft that could break apart in seconds after taking off in one ride. The reptile was stopped by Caesar and Tusk due to them having the strength to prevent their king from escaping since Cleo was handling getting everyone's tickets.

"Can't you relax, dino boy? Flying is considered the safest means of avoiding humans when it comes to monsters. Plus, Gremlins know how to avoid being detected. They can handle taking us to the island."

Draculaura assured her boyfriend about them being fine during the trip since Dracula met several Gremlins long ago when they were trying to survive the human world. While they weren't strong but more capable of defending themselves from larger monsters and humans, they were incredible engineers who could make anything that could protect themselves. Junior said nothing as the fear leading captain Cleo walked over to hand her friends their tickets, each of them would be either sitting with one another or with someone they had met back at school. Junior had the luck of sitting next to Frankie who would be offering him a list of facts about flying being safe.

"The anticipation is killing me! The island's got the best beaches to visit, foods, and most of all. The resort!"

Lagoona spoke out in excitement since the Bermuda Island at numerous activities for them to do while Cleo would be training the fear leading team for the upcoming contest being held there. Noticing the door's opening up and showing the gremlin stewardess welcoming the passengers on board and the flight crew needing everyone's bags.

"This is it. First time going to an island with my friends, along my pack."

Clawdeen told herself and looking at the others since it was her first time in being on her own traveling on a plane. Handing her belongings to the goblin crew member, the rest of the students did so as they walked through the entrance where they started to board the plane. Finding their seats and waiting for take-off, each of them didn't know what they'd expect during their arrival to the Bermuda Triangle. All they could do was think positive about being a fantastic trip to that of an experience since they would balance having fun during their stay to that of preparing to meet other students from across the monster world.
