Chapter 10: Securing the files

The gang arrived to the pizzeria. Freddy grabbed his keys and unlocked the front entrance. Soon enough, they were inside and thinking of where to read the files. Since there wouldn't be anyone else entering, they decided to read them in the dining area. But before that, Freddy locked the front entrance and turned off the lobby light, that way so it looked like no one was around. Only thing giving the chance of looking like someone was around being Bonnie's van.

Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Fredbear, and Buster got into the dining area chairs and started checking out the files. At first, it just looked like some standard notes with nothing of value. However, after some more digging, it became clear that they were not prepared for what they were about to see. The evidence went into great detail on how to target Freddy Fazbear's.

It wasn't entirely clear if Monty wrote the plans out, but whether he did or not, had to of known the layout ahead of time, just judging from the various pictures of the area taken. However, it couldn't have been Monty or the mayor though, since none of them had visited the pizzeria prior. To add to this, the handwriting didn't look anything close to what Friedlander or Monty would have written. There were already signatures of them both on separate papers. Perhaps there was someone else involved who worked with Monty, who followed the gator's orders by making a plan on how to ruin the chances of the pizzeria passing inspection.

It was then they got to a paper with the stinkbomb. Showing how to put it together, what it would look like, and how to trigger it. There was then a picture of one of the vents up top. Next to it was instructions on how to unscrew the bolts with what screwdriver. With this plan now in full exposure to Fazbear and his friends, they all knew this was all a big plan at the hands of Monty to get the pizzeria shutdown, for the sake of a golf course or high end apartments.

"I knew this was a deliberate scheme!" said Freddy. "We might know this now, but what is part of the files and plans that we don't know?" said Buster. A snore was heard, and it came from Foxy. He then woke up to see everyone staring at him. "What did I miss?" he asked, "Ye know readin can make me tired." "You seriously need a recap? Because I think if you read these yourself, WITHOUT falling asleep like you JUST did, I think you won't need one," said Buster.

Foxy read all of what he could to himself. After he was done looking and reading, he looked at the others, "Huh, so that gator is doing what he can to sabotage our reputation! We'll show him!" "But there's something you missed," said Freddy, "Look at the handwriting. It doesn't look like it belongs to Monty, let alone the mayor." "Maybe it belongs to the health inspector," said Bonnie. "If it were him, we would have seen him long before then," replied Chica, "These pictures were taken way before he would have showed up." She pointed out the dates of the pictures taken as seen on the bottom left. They all had the same date on them, 2/18/2018.

Foxy's face then looked serious, after inspecting the writing. "Why do I know that writing?" he asked. "You know who wrote that?" asked Bonnie. "I don't remember WHO wrote it," explained Foxy, "But I remember the writing itself. I swear, it looks so familiar, but I cannae put me hook on it!" Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy tried to think on who it could've belonged to, but couldn't pinpoint it. Maybe Foxy had mistaken it for someone else's writing, or maybe it belonged to a disgruntled employee that got fired around the time of when the pictures were taken.

"Perhaps it was the one guy that got fired back in that time for not doing his job," assumed Chica. "Or maybe it belonged to that janitor who didn't put up that wet floor sign," added Bonnie. "Whoever it belongs to, will remain a mystery for now," said Freddy, "In the meantime, I think it's best to store the files in the security office. I'll call that guy who checked the vents to see if he still has the stink bomb. I hope he still has it, because that will aid in having evidence just as much as the files."

Freddy walked off to the security office to store the files. Bonnie then got up from his chair and said, "I'll be right back." He went to the restroom and Foxy could see this. This was his chance to talk to Bonnie.

Bonnie was washing his hands after using the bathroom. After drying off his hands, he turned only to see Foxy. It gave him quite the spook. "Geez! At least make some noise when coming in!" said Bonnie. Foxy being a smartass, took out his phone and played an earrape version of the National anthem of Scotland. "Is this the noise ye be talkin aboot?" he asked. "Not really, but fair enough," said Bonnie. He was about to walk off until Foxy stopped.

"Bonnie wait!" said Foxy, "We need to talk." Bonnie stopped and looked at Foxy, "What is it?" "I wanna get back to where we had our conversation in our minds," Foxy said, in which Bonnie just rolled his eyes, "What is stoppin ye from tellin Chica?" "Because I don't know how she is going to react!" Bonnie replied, "Anything could happen. She could lash out on me, give me a mouthful, or who knows what!" "She might, but even if ye think the odds seem low, there's still that wee possibility Chica might say yes," said Foxy, "I said it before, and I will say it again, but I really could see the two of ye workin out as a couple. Ye might be clumsy, but that don't mean ye bad. When it's all said and done, it's a chance ye got to take. If ye don't tell her, another male might beat ye to it."

"I have to agree with Foxy," said a voice. Bonnie and Foxy turned to see Freddy, which made them jump. "How much did you hear?" asked Bonnie nervously. "Enough," replied Freddy, "And it honestly doesn't surprise me; I suspected it for years. Not in a bad way Bonnie, but you kinda made it obvious through the years that you liked Chica. But seriously, we won't tell her." "Thank you guys," said Bonnie. "We may tease each other sometimes, but that doesn't mean we don't look out for one another," said Foxy, "Yer secret is safe with us. Just keep in mind what I said Mr. Bun Buns, ye dinnae want to wait for too long."

Afterwards, everyone got in the van and Bonnie began to drive everyone home. "Thank goodness we have the pizzeria to store the files in, just in case the police were to search our homes," said Bonnie. "We aren't done yet though," said Freddy, "We still have to check out the other building for files, but we can work on that and make a plan on it tomorrow." "It's already Wednesday tomorrow," said Buster, "So we must do it at a pace that can be within a reasonable amount of time." "Oh don't worry, we'll be able to come up with something within a reasonable amount of time," said Freddy confidently, "With the lord as my witness, before this week is over, we WILL get all the evidence we need to save the pizzeria!" "I can't tell if Freddy is just being confident, or if he's inadvertently foreshadowing something," Fredbear said to himself.
