Distortion 35

Food, one of mankind's original equalizers. Long before the existence of weapons, food was the earliest commodity besides water that man needed to live a safe and prosperous life. Though it's role had long since diminished, the fact that it served the needs of humanity had never left. Even after attempts to eradicate world hunger had been successful, the act of food consumption had never been truly lost to humanity even into current times.

One of the ways food had stayed relevant was through the usage of cuisine, food created by the indigenous people of various lands that became popular staples that has many copycats. One of these famous cuisines was Chinese and even in a long forgotten country like China had it's various cuisines. As Sora, Bullet and Amy sat around a table in a Chinese restaurant, one would think they were just tourists, ready to sample the tastes of a long forgotten nation.

"Hmmm… I wonder if we should order anything else." Sora said, looking at the menu as he could feel the tension that was in the air that none of the other patrons eating there could feel. Sora was trying to figure out what to say next as his eyes darted across the menu, wondering what would be a good meal to pair with this traditionally spicy dish. Amy and Bullet simply remained quiet, as if they wanted to discuss things with him and Sora was trying to delay it for as long as possible, one to at least enjoy his meal and two so that he could think about what to say next.

"I would say plain white rice would be good for Mapo Tofu. We could also get a side of greens and a dessert to follow it up." Bullet said as Sora nodded his head at that. "We should maybe consider getting egg fried rice at least. I understand that Mapo Tofu is oily sometimes and Egg Fried rice is also oily but I just enjoy fried rice more than white rice." Amy replied to Bullet's suggestion as Sora knew what he wanted to order at that moment and grabbed the attention of a waitress.

"One of your specialty Mapo Tofu. And to go along with it, one plate of egg fried rice and stir fried vegetables." Sora said as the waitress quickly wrote down the orders on her notepad while Sora continued to observe the girls just watching each other, as if he was in some sort of western movie. "Can we also get some Chinese tea and your dessert menu please?" Sora said as the waitress smiled and nodded her head at that, leaving the table unaware of what was going to happen next.

"So...Care to tell me what is your deal with Sector Seven and why you need to find them?" Bullet said, finally making her move when the waitress was far enough from the table to hear their conversation. Bullet had paid a bit extra to get into one of the more private rooms to have their important conversation in, despite the more private room being just a bench seat that was just further away from the main restaurant and the people conversing down below.

Sora knew that he was the one being asked the question to but he needed to word his question carefully and not spill too much truth bombs to Bullet. "Well… let's just say I need to discuss a few things with them. And I need their expertise on the more… "Scientific" stuff that they love doing." Sora explained as Bullet nodded her head at that, Sora looking at Amy to watch her reaction as she did not make any reaction that would tell him that she did not like what she had heard.

"I see… so that's why you are going to find them huh." Bullet said as Sora could sense a small piece of tension that was lodged behind Bullet's throat as he knew that there was more to what she was saying that Sora did not know and that he should pay attention to what was going to be said next. "Is there a reason why you are expressing an interest in Sector Seven now?" Sora asked, deciding to be direct with her as being direct was more likely to get him more answers rather than trying to dance around the issue.

"… Look I wasn't trying to hide things from you…" "But you did and for understandable personal reason." "Yes...personal, because I have been trying to find them myself this whole time." Bullet said as soon as Sora mentioned the reason why Bullet did not say a word about her wanting to find Sector Seven. "And I am guessing that every single clue that you have been gathering has either been dead ends or dried up a long time ago because that is how good Sector Seven is in hiding their involvement." Sora said as Bullet nodded her head at that.

"I have been trying to track them for the longest time. Remember the night we met? I was just leaving Kagutsuchi where I heard the Red Devil was last seen and I was hoping that more people would have told me where he went. I then heard from some dock workers he was with two other people, a red haired guy and a woman wearing an NOL uniform for some reason. I have been going around with that info in mind but nothing but dead ends at the end."

Bullet's words made Sora nod his head several times. Not just because he could see the plausibility of the situation that she was going through but also because it made the most amount of sense. "So what were you going to do once your leads dried up? Go back to mercenary work and wait for the Red Devil to pop up on the radar once again?" Sora questioned as it seemed reasonable that Bullet may do something like that if her goal was only Sector Seven.

"Well… I did have another solution that I was planning to go for next." Bullet explained as Sora and Amy simply remained quiet as the first dish, the stir fried vegetables was placed in front of them along with empty bowls. They waited for the waiter to go away as Bullet took a deep breath. "I know of one man who has ties with the organization. He does well to keep his tracks but a couple of one night stands and spies were able to confirm his ties to Sector Seven." Bullet explained as Sora leaned in closer.

"Then tell us please." Sora asked as he could understand her reluctance to tell the truth as she looked around a bit more, her thoughts wandering a bit before clearing her throat, feeling that she could trust the person in front of her. "That person is Colonel Kagura Mutsuki. Yes, of the Mutsuki Duodecim." Bullet said as Sora couldn't help but be surprised by the revelation as he sat down on his chair, trying to register what he had just heard.

"Kagura Mutsuki… is working with Sector Seven?" Sora simply said, his mind looking blown as he decided to calm down his mind by eating some stir fried vegetables, some of which were already being consumed by Amy as she listened in on the conversation, waiting for her chance to jump in and speak. "You do realize that if Kagura Mutsuki was actually seen conversing with Sector Seven, that would be treason against the NOL correct? How can you say with such confidence that he is even doing such a thing in the first place."

"True, if he was seen talking with an actual individual from Sector Seven in some shady alleyway that would be all the reason to take him down. Intelligence also likes to spy on the NOL's top brass to make sure they aren't doing anything suspicious. But Kagura has the one thing most individuals don't have, The daughter of one of the Six Heroes." Bullet said as Amy herself was not shocked by the revelation, having seen various timelines of Kagura and Kokonoe working together. Sora on the other hand.

"Wait you're telling me that the world's most infamous womanizer is in fact working with one of the most intelligent people in the world?!" Sora said with enough surprise in his voice to convey the feeling of surprise he was feeling but also quietly enough it did not attract the attention of those below as he quickly ate more of the vegetables before downing a quick cup of water before the Chinese tea finally arrived at that moment.

"Your chinese tea." The waiter said, pouring out the first glass of tea before leaving as the others used the hot tea as a chance to let Sora to catch his breath and register what he was listening to as it was understandable why he was shocked the way he was. "Yes… that same man of infamous reputation, is also talking with professor Kokonoe of all people." Bullet summarized as Sora regained his composure, realizing that he was slightly overreacting, even if it was justified.

"So… How did you plan to meet him? Pretend to be a woman of the night looking for a one night stand and talk to him then and there?" Sora questioned as now it was Bullet's turn to be embarrassed as Sora realized what he had just said a little too late… even if it was the first and most logical idea in his head that he would do if he was a woman and needed to talk to a high ranking official like Kagura Mutsuki who was infamous for chasing after women.

"I-I-I mean… I can understand if the thought didn't come rushing to your head or you considered it and decided against it for various reasons. It was just the first thought that came into my mind." Sora said quickly as Bullet shook her head before blushing harder. "It's...It's alright. I understand your reasoning and have considered it. It's just… I feel like I would not pull it off as well." Bullet explained as both individuals waited for their collective embarrassment to die down as Amy continued to stare at this scene.

'I cannot believe that Sora of all people could say something like that with such a straight face… but then again, it's more surprising that he caught himself saying that at the end and didn't do something dumb in the process.' Amy thought as she drank her tea. "But...yes. I would have to go for other options and if I have to sell my body to get closer…" Bullet said as Sora could see a level of discomfort come up on her face as Sora simply shook his head.

"You shouldn't need to sell your body for anything. In fact, I have to respect your decision to pursue other options instead of considering the obvious." Sora said as Bullet looked at him, curious about his choice of answer. "I understand as mercenaries we are taught to use anything in our disposal to our advantage, whether it be money, status, connections or even our bodies to get the job done. Some people are comfortable with the idea of using their bodies or the act of sex to accomplish what they want but we should understand our own limitations at the end of the day." Sora explained.

Bullet couldn't help but smile a bit hearing what Sora had said as she drank some tea to calm herself down. "That's true… at least you understand why I feel reluctant to do something that would obviously work but at the same time makes me wonder if that is going too far." Bullet said as Sora cleared his throat at that. "So what other options have you actually considered? It's worth going through other options for now." Sora said, wanting to gauge how much Bullet had thought through her idea of going straight to Kagura.

"Well originally, I was hoping to be able to meet him in the job. But everything happened so fast I could barely get a glimpse of the guy." Bullet said as Sora nodded his head at that. "It was reasonable to try and find him there, he would probably attend that kind of event. Maybe if I was slower you could have caught a glimpse but because I was good at my work you didn't get that chance." Sora explained as Bullet nodded her head in agreement with that statement.

"The next thing I was hoping to do was find any kind of event that he was going to be attending and try and sneak my way in there. But other than that party, he has nothing going on for the rest of the month." Bullet said as Sora nodded his head at that as well. "So the final option I had was to go after Ragna the Bloodedge and use him as a way for me to get closer to Kagura. But the Grim Reaper's been keeping his tracks loose and I haven't found him since." The final solution caught Sora's attention.

"Ragna The Bloodedge huh… what was he doing the last time you heard about him?" Sora questioned as Bullet placed her hand on her chin to think about what he had said. "The main detail is that he has two people that were seen beside him. One was a kakan and the other was just a blond haired girl wearing a black cloak." Bullet explained as Sora nodded his head at that. If Bullet was talking about a Kakan, there was only one Kakan that was popping in his mind and he couldn't help but hope he doesn't meet her in this timeline again because if her mental state was the same, then things would be even worse.

The Black coated lady grabbed Sora's attention when he heard that description. "I would recommend against going after Ragna the Bloodedge." Amy said, surprising the two as she seemed to be a woman of little words at this point. "And let me guess, it's because Ragna the Bloodedge is an SSS criminal and with my current strength I won't be able to handle him." Bullet said, used to this kind of response which Sora noticed himself.

"It's less about being strong or weak, but it's more can you afford to keep looking for someone who is doing a good job staying hidden?" Amy questioned as Sora remained quiet as he decided to let Bullet speak about that. "I can't afford to be picky, I got to hurry up and find Sector Seven as fast as possible, the longer I don't do so, the colder my trail becomes." Bullet said as Amy rubbed her forehead at that.

"So when I heard that you have a contact in Sector Seven… I cannot help but think that maybe this is it…" Bullet explained as Sora realized what he had just said and looked at Amy in the eyes. 'I am not helping you with this situation Sora. You got to do this yourself.' Amy simply said with her eyes as Sora scratched his head a bit. "I understand I said that, but maybe I should explain myself a bit further and temper your expectations a bit." Sora explained.

Sora then waited for Bullet to settle down on her seat as he saw that she was about to say something before calming down and taking a seat to register what he had just said. "Yes, I do have a contact from Sector Seven but I am not sure if she is still working there or not. She can give us a clue on how we can contact Sector Seven but even so, the information she gives will be useful regardless." Sora said as he simply waited for Bullet's response before he made any other kind of statement that may bite him in the ass.

"I see… well I admit, when I heard you got a contact in Sector Seven I may have set my own expectations a bit too high." Bullet explained as Sora took a deep breath before nodding his head. "Sorry I couldn't exactly give you the head on a platter you have been searching for. But at least it's something else right?" Sora explained as Bullet nodded her head. "So do you think you can contact them right now? It would be great if we could get some clues or better yet, meet them." Bullet said as Sora cleared his throat.

"I can try contacting them… but don't be surprised if they get suspicious. After all, Sector Seven loves their secrecy and she especially loves to not be in the spotlight too much." Sora explained as Bullet was about to say something but before she could, the main dish had arrived at that moment. "Your Mapo Tofu and your Egg Fried rice to go along with it." The Waitress said as the steaming Mapo Tofu in front of them had a wonderful smell that made their stomachs growl in hunger.

"Heh… Sorry about the grilling I am giving you. It's just that I prefer to know my options you know." Bullet said as Sora couldn't help but smile at that. "I don't blame you… I too hate surprises and would prefer to know as much as I can rather than stay in the dark at the end of the day." Sora said as he couldn't help but feel the gap that he and Bullet had first started with was growing ever closer as Bullet looked at the hot and spicy dish with some anticipation growing in her belly.

"Right, let's try this Mapo Tofu that I have heard so much about." Bullet said as she scooped some of the firm tofu and meat onto her plate alongside a side of rice as Amy did the same for her plate. Sora figured rather than trying to fight what he was seeing, he should just join in on the fun and did the same arrangement on his plate. The trio looked at each other, swallowing some saliva as they decided to eat the dish at the same time, not waiting any longer.

The first thing the three tasted when the Mapo Tofu entered their mouths was a sudden burst of umami followed by a numbing sensation that stung on their tongues. For Bullet, it was a brand new experience as she sweated a little bit in the process. Amy was simply overwhelmed by the new flavor she was tasting as she felt a sense of excitement from consuming the dish in front of her. Sora was enjoying the taste of the Mapo Tofu that he was consuming and wiped the sweat that formed on his forehead.

"This is really good." Sora simply said as he took a sip of tea along with that compliment. He then looked at Amy and Bullet to gauge their responses. Amy was scooping more rice to consume alongside her Mapo Tofu and Bullet was trying to hide her expression of pain as she did not want to drink any kind of refreshment to cool down the numbing sensation she was feeling. Sora watched the two eat to their heart's content as he took more modest bites from the Mapo Tofu as his mind began to wonder about his current situation.

Here he was, eating a plate of Mapo Tofu and the person in front of him was only a person he had recently met and did a job with. The person on the right was someone he was very familiar with but was also responsible for causing his current predicament in the first place. He wasn't sure he should trust her completely but that was why he would prefer to have her nearby so that he knows that she's spying on him rather than having to worry about her and the blond haired girl plotting to kill him at a blind spot he was not aware of.

It still did not change the fact that it was awkward to be breaking bread and having dinner with each other like this, but circumstances have been much weirder. "T-Truly… this is a taste that one can enjoy." Amy said, spooning more mouthfuls of rice and tofu into her mouth. "You sure can eat a lot for someone your size. Good. Make sure you shove yourself full." Bullet said as she turned towards Sora. "And you, eat as much as you can, we don't want to waste a single drop of this meal right now." Bullet ordered as Sora couldn't help but sigh a bit and nodded his head to that command.

"Yes Maam."

AMY POV

God this is a new sensation to me. I thought the taste of pizza was great enough but this Mapo Tofu is truly something else. I know all about the world's cuisines and what people ate in the past but knowledge without experience is just all books and no feeling. The numbness provided by the Szechuan peppercorns provides their own unique taste of heat while also bringing in a numbing sensation that makes it easy enough for you to eat the next spoonful without feeling like you are in an immense amount of pain.

The fruity like finish is also something truly unique. I wish I could have meals like this back at the boundary everyday and not those puddings that Es keeps eating everyday. As much as I like those, they are too much of a sweet tooth for me to properly enjoy consuming on a regular basis. Wait what am I doing just eating like an idiot here, I have to focus on getting Sora on track and getting him that contact from Sector Seven so he can do whatever he needs to do and finally leave this timeline before he causes more damage than he does.

"Is something wrong Miss Amy? You seem to be letting your mind wonder." Bullet questioned as my eyes widened at that question. "Oh you know. I cannot help but wonder why you need to talk to Sector Seven in the first place?" I questioned as I decided to use the benefit of my time viewing various timelines to my advantage and get this conversation going. Maybe if I can show Sora that this woman has heavy baggage, maybe he would be encouraged to leave her alone so that we can be on our merry way.

"Amy!.." Sora loudly said as I could feel a glare come my way. He probably could sense that I was asking her a particularly sensitive topic based on the way she was remaining quiet at the moment. Sora wouldn't have asked the woman the question but even he had to be curious about the reason a mercenary like Bullet was searching for a secret organization like Sector Seven. "It's alright Sora… I was planning on telling you anyways before we do anything else. Just so you can decide if you want to help me on this or not." Bullet explained as this was what I wanted, just tell him your objective and let's get the hell out of here.

"Alright then… If you feel comfortable." Sora said as he looked at me with a look that told me he was aware of what I had just done. Sure did I use my knowledge of events to try and push things to a certain direction that was more beneficial to me? Sure but at the same time if I did not do so, that would be potential time wasted trying to help this woman with her own issues. "Thanks… just give me a bit to collect my thoughts for a bit." Bullet said as I took another bite of Mapo Tofu while I got ready to listen to this explanation that I have heard several times.

"Where do I begin… Right… why I am doing all of this in the first place." Bullet said as I could see Sora slowly lean in, eager to listen to what this woman had to say with what seemed to be an open mind. "Remember when I said I used to come from a mercenary group a long time ago. You must have wondered what happened to them this whole time haven't you." Bullet said as Sora simply nodded his head.

"I wouldn't lie when I said that I was interested in knowing more but I decided against asking you about it since you seem to be rather reluctant to say something about it." Sora said as I could feel his eyes dart back to me, giving me a stare that I could feel right through my soul as I simply remained quiet, eating my Mapo Tofu without saying a word. "Well… I would like to make it short and simple but for the sake of understanding, I will just go with the longer explanation." Bullet said.

"The first thing that happened was that me and my mercenary group got a job from a single individual. Our little band was looking to get out of the game for some time, set up a legitimate business and train up future mercenaries. Don't get me wrong, the mercenary life is something I still enjoy but we were trying to set up for the future you know." Bullet explained as Sora nodded his head hearing that. So far, it's the same thing I have heard.

"So of course, us needing the money for our future goal, decided to take it. But before I could join them, I suddenly came down feeling ill." Bullet said as so far, everything was lining up with the story I heard so far. "Do you know what type of illness you were suffering at the time? I think it's strange you suddenly going ill a few days before an important job like that. Especially if you are keeping up with your health." Sora asked, Bullet looking at him with some surprise as she nodded her head at that.

"To be honest… I still can't really figure out how I got that ill in the first place." Bullet said as Sora simply raised his hand up. "Maybe we shouldn't be discussing how you got ill, all I need to know is that it stopped you from being able to come along with your comrades that time." Sora said, quickly focusing the conversation back to the reason. For once, he's actually getting to the point and for a man like him, that is something rare to see.

"Right… In any case, because I fell ill that day, my team had to leave me behind while they went on for the mission. Something about retrieving something from underneath one of the Hierarchical cities… but it all went wrong and they got wiped out." The moment Bullet said those words, I could feel a deafening silence come from Sora as Bullet allowed him to register what she had just said before he raised his hand towards her and gestured for her to continue.

"The day I found out they got wiped out, I was already getting ready to catch up to them… the guy that we got the contract from let me know what had happened and wired the cash directly to the groups...my funds. When I tried to get him to spill the details, he simply refused and just left me hanging." Bullet said as Sora remained even more quiet, his hands on top of each other as he processed the words she spoke.

"But I wasn't going to let him get away… So that night, I chased after him and told him to tell me everything he knew otherwise I was going to rip his throat out. That was enough to make him talk and he told me everything I needed to hear, from how we were set up from the beginning to take the fall and how the guys had to face off against the NOL all for the thing that they wanted." Bullet continued as Sora was able to piece together what she was talking about at this point.

"And the group responsible for all of this was Sector Seven…" Sora said as Bullet restrained herself from slamming her fist on the table as she took a deep breath before nodding her head. "Ever since that day, I have been trying my damn best to find out what truly happened to everyone. You know that mercenaries don't get buried when they die. The battlefields we perish at are our resting places. We don't have friends or family who will remember us when we perish, only those that were beside us all this time who knew us for who we were…" Bullet said as Sora was putting the pieces together.

Indeed, this is the reason why the mercenary Bullet was searching for Sector Seven this entire time. She has clung to the desire of vengeance this entire time, searching and seeking for the people that were responsible for the things that happened to her band of brothers. It's a fool's errand and something we… he shouldn't be getting himself mixed up on. I still remember what he said to me about helping people but will he truly help someone who is clearly hellbent on getting revenge on a group of people that he needs their help from?

"So the people you have been contacting… the information you have been gathering, have you been burning through your fund to do all of that?" Sora questioned as I couldn't help but find that question weird as Bullet looked at him before looking towards the table at her own hands. "I haven't touched the fund that was given to my group once… It was our goal… our desire… so at the very least, I have decided to use my own money and cash to get to the truth. I won't lie, had some nights where I felt like starving but that money...that money is for their future and I don't want to waste it." Bullet said as Sora nodded his head at that.

"So what is your plan when you meet with Sector Seven? Make them confess what they actually did that day?" Sora questioned as here it was, the crucial reason why Bullet seemed to be a woman possessed, wanting to find Sector Seven like a woman possessed. "Yes. I desperately am seeking for the truth. I just want to know what really happened to them that day. I can live with myself if I knew they fought all the way but nothing? Not even video footage of the incident? I cannot help but suspect foul play and I will not have any of it." Bullet said as Sora nodded his head at that.

"...You heard everything you needed to know?" Bullet questioned as I looked at Sora, wondering if he had truly heard everything he wished to hear at that moment and was ready to make his decision about everything. "Just one last question before I let you know how I feel… What was the wish of the mercenary troop before they left you. What was their desire?" Sora questioned as I noticed a look of shock on Bullet's face as I couldn't help but feel slightly alarmed by this.

It wasn't just the fact that he asked the question in the first place. He did so in a manner that conveyed a sense of seriousness and was actually taking Bullet's word for gospel. The common reaction she would have had would have something to the degree of, "That is none of your business what they feel." But something about the way he said that… it must have resonated with Bullet as she looked down at her hands and actually looked to be deep in thought, as if considering what he said.

"… Their desire was simply, for us to live. They… the captain wanted us to fight with everything we got but at the same time if there was the choice between survival and finishing the mission, we should always prioritize survival." Bullet said as Sora took a deep breath and nodded his head at that. "Your captain taught you well. I can see why you are trying to find the truth now." Sora said as my eyes widened hearing that. Is he...actually agreeing with her.

"So does that mean!?" "I will help you find the truth… but we will have to be careful how we do it. If you are trying to find the truth and Sector Seven understands you are doing so, they will make it difficult for you. I need my own answers at the end of the day so while I will give you what I know, we will have to operate separately." Sora explained as I couldn't believe what I had just heard as Bullet simply smiled hearing that.

"I get it, Sector Seven loves their secrecy so by being associated with me, they may just think I hired you or you are trying to expose the truth like some journalist. I agree to what you say but at the same time, there has to be a way for us to work together while still being at close contact." Bullet said as Sora began to think and then his eyes dart towards me. Oh no, why they are darting towards me.

"Amy, would you like to hire two mercenaries that happen to be looking for work for a protection detail?" Sora said to me as I nearly dropped my spoon hearing that and choked on the Mapo Tofu I was still eating. I quickly drank some water in order to respond to the claim I had just heard. "H-H-Hire!?" I said out loud in shock as Bullet seemed to understand what Sora was saying and nodded her head. "Indeed, living the life of a mercenary is rough but if we just happen to be bodyguards to a woman who wishes to contact Sector Seven about a business deal, then there is no problem with that correct." Bullet continued as I couldn't help but wish to object to the way I was being used like this.

"You will hire us for your job to meet with Sector Seven… right?" Sora asked as he looked at me with a much sharper pair of eyes as I knew he knew that I had to do this otherwise it would be directly violating his condition of helping him reach Sector Seven. "… If you guys insist, I will be the pawn to your crazy idea." I said as Bullet pumped her fist at that. "Finally, what feels like progress." Bullet said as Sora scratched his head, smiling as I couldn't help but look away when I saw that smile. That smile he made… no I shouldn't linger on that, that's not relevant right now.

"In any case, I say for tonight let's take it easy and get our plan together, we have the night to work out the details and cover story. Don't worry Bullet, you won't have to say a thing because let's be honest, you can be blunt sometimes." Sora said as Bullet couldn't help but punch his shoulder at that. "Who you are calling blunt!" Bullet yelled as Sora rubbed his shoulder in pain. "Okay, maybe you can be tough. At least intimidate those that try to ask too many questions. How does that sound." Sora questioned.

"… I can at least accept that if it means not having to talk too much on the job." Bullet said, scratching her head as Sora nodded his head at that. "Now that is settled… Amy you are paying for the next plate of Mapo Tofu you have been conveniently eating this entire time while me and Bullet were discussing details." Sora said as I couldn't help but look even more shocked but before I could protest, his finger pointed downwards to let me see the clean plate that once held Mapo Tofu on it and realize what he said was the truth and I couldn't refute it…

"Alright… The next plate of Mapo Tofu is on me… and the plate of fried rice as well." I said, submitting to Sora's demands as he nodded his head at that. "Good. At least that is something we can agree on." Sora said as he stood up to stretch a bit. "I am going to go to the restroom for a bit, hope you two don't mind." Sora said as Bullet looked at him for a bit before nodding her head at that. "Go ahead man. I ain't stopping you." Bullet said as Sora soon took off.

"… Thanks for agreeing to our ridiculous ploy. I am pretty sure you don't want to be dragged into this mess." Bullet said as I simply shook my head. "Oh don't worry about me. I am used to this kind of shenanigans." I said as I could hear a ringing at the back of my head, that ringing telling me that what was happening was definitely not following the timeline but when you are with someone called the Continuum Error I guess you have to deal with this kind of thing.

"To be frank, I don't know how good our chances are with meeting Sector Seven. I just hope that we don't end up causing more trouble at the end of the day for each other." Bullet said as I simply nodded my head at that. But for some reason, I don't feel like we will run into too many issues… I cannot explain it, but something tells me that Sora does have a clue about what he wants to do.. the only issue is that unless he decides to tell me, I have no clue what that man is thinking. But before I can even think about all of that, there's one thing I need to do.

Order a plate of Mapo Tofu and Fried rice for the table because I allowed my taste buds to dominate me for a moment and consume everyone's dinner and now I need to pay for it.
