Previously on Canon Distortion

Sora Minakaze, the Mercenary Bullet and one of the Azure guardians Amy were currently in the location of an NOL base. All three of them wished to discuss certain matters with an individual called Professor Kokonoe. What kind of answers they will get from the woman and will said answers be satisfactory for each individual involved? There is only one way to find out and that is to see the conversation that will happen in front of our eyes…

And Now, the continuation of Canon Distortion…

If one could describe the tension that was in the room at that moment, it would be with the phrase, like cutting butter with a knife. Sora sat down on his chair, eating one of the chestnut parfaits he had made as everyone else just stared off against each other. He could feel the chill touch his lips as his eyes continued to scan around and see what everyone else was thinking that that moment. He felt tempted to start something but it truly felt like if he said something, everything would come crashing down at that moment.

'I'll just eat this parfait for a bit longer and wait for someone to break the ice.' Sora thought as he took a slice of banana, strawberry and ice cream and ate it all at once. The taste that he got from such a combination was normal but probably due to not having eaten anything stimulating for a while, it simply tasted divine. He would have moaned out in pleasure for eating such a meal but held back as he knew such a thing right now may do more damage than intended.

As he ate the chestnut parfait however, he couldn't help but notice everyone else not doing the same thing. "Ummm...you know that parfait ain't going to eat itself you know?" Sora said, deciding to use this as a chance to say something by pointing to something obvious. The girls simply looked at their respective parfaits. "You know….we should at least eat this parfait in front of us. It would be a waste and disrespect to the chef if we do not do so." Amy said as Bullet looked at the chestnut parfait.

"I am not much of a fan of sweet stuff like this… but if you are the one who made it…" Bullet then went in to get a bite of the parfait that was in front of her. Sora couldn't help but scratch his head at that as he felt like he was insulted and dissed at the same time with that comment and took a deep breath. "Hmmm… it's sweet yes but at the same time, you can tell this has a mature taste to it." Kokonoe said as she ate on it casually before pulling out a couple of packets of sugar.

"Are you seriously going to eat that parfait by sprinkling sugar on top of it." Amy said as Sora scratched his head at the sight. "And are you going to eat that? You haven't taken a single bite from it ever since coming out with it." Kokonoe said as Amy looked at the parfait after hearing it. Amy herself had some reservations eating such an ice cream made from Sora. Of course it would be delicious but she cannot help but wonder why the man would bother making her a parfait in the first place given their current circumstances.

"Ummm you know guys… you can just eat ice cream without having to go on a 30 minute monologue about the quality of the ice cream. Besides, I made some cuz the food was good and I felt the cooking itch bite me." Sora said, the girls looking right at him before sighing and nodding their heads at that. "I can see that you clearly put in some effort here… just like how you cooked that meat the first time we met." Bullet said as she took a spoonful of the parfait before taking a bite, feeling a brain freeze hit her in the process.

"Indeed… I can agree on the effort part. As for execution, I have to say it's a barely passing grade." Kokonoe said as she sprinkled her packet of brown sugar on top of the ice cream and ate it at that moment. "Well to be fair, I am more of a savory chef personally. I don't really do desserts much but I do hope to become better at them someday." Sora said as Kokonoe and Bullet nodded their heads upon hearing that. Amy on the other hand couldn't help but feel like things were being delayed for too long and she needed to hurry the pace up now.

"As much as this conversation is going all nice and pleasant. I believe we are wasting each other's time behaving like this." Amy said as everyone looked at her when they hear her say that before respectfully nodding their heads. "Well...when you put it like that, we should get things started already." Kokonoe said, putting down her finished bowl of chestnut parfait as her eyes went towards Sora and looked at him right in the eyes.

"You don't mind letting her hear about your situation right now?" Kokonoe questioned as Sora looked at her a bit confused before realizing what she meant. Bullet herself looked at the group in confusion, realizing she was out of the loop about something. "I think that's fair enough… Bullet, I need to explain to you something very important before we go any further." Sora explained as Bullet looked at him before nodding her head, realizing whatever Sora was keeping a secret was for good reason.

It was then Sora went down a lengthy explanation about who he was and his current situation at that moment. From how he was not in fact from this world and that her finding him the forest was a consequence of him doing what he did to escape from the hell he had been put through. He even went as far as to explain why he was doing what he was doing in the hopes that Bullet herself did not freak out upon hearing the news that Sora Minakaze was just trying to get back to his own timeline.

"And you are caught up in my current situation…" Sora said as he looked at Bullet carefully. He had made sure to explain his situation to Bullet as slowly and patiently as possible. He understood very well that people like her and him, they really did not understand the complicated stuff that the world tried to throw their way. He was worried that he may have laid it out to her too thick and just left her confused instead of understanding his current situation.

"So… you are meaning to tell me that you are some alien from another world and you are trying to go back home?" Bullet said as Sora, Amy and the professor couldn't help but look at her dumbfounded at that moment as Bullet herself realized that what she had just said was the most ridiculous thing they have ever heard. "Wow… to be called an alien… Well at least it is sorta accurate about my current circumstances but still… an alien...really?" Sora said simply flabbergasted.

"Well what do you want me to say?! Your current circumstances remind me of that one movie a guy wouldn't shut up about! Something about an alien and a kid on a bike!" Bullet said as Sora somehow had a feeling he knew what she was talking about but decided against actually saying it's name for fear that it would further derail the conversation they were having at that moment. "In any case, my situation can be related to such a situation." Sora said as that was enough to calm Bullet down at that moment.

"So now that you are caught up… do you have a good answer for how I can guarantee I get back home safely and not end up in another world entirely?" Sora said, his attention now turning towards the professor as everyone was now looking at her intensely. She had sort of expected this pressure and was not fazed by it but for the sake of having received a good tasting chestnut parfait, she could at least just be blunt with the man.

Kokonoe: Get back home. It's always been obvious. Safely on the other hand…

Sora: That's not as easy huh…

Kokonoe: What do you expect, you are talking about hurling yourself into what is essentially the collective unconscious of several things that should not be there. Not to mention the levels of Seithr you will experience from such a jump will kill anybody and turn them into an abomination

Sora: But you got to have something in that laboratory that you have created just for that moment don't you? You must have done so in order to know this much about the boundary.

Kokonoe: The most I have done is send stuff down the Boundary, inanimate objects mind you. Even though I may look like a crazy scientist, I will and refuse to do anything that endangers human life in any way.

Sora couldn't help but sigh at that moment. He figured that Kokonoe would say something like this but he had hoped she would give him more hope than that. "So what kind of inanimate objects have you sent. Anything big like a coffin?" Sora questioned as Kokonoe couldn't help but tell what his simple mind was thinking at that moment. "Look you… even if you were to ride in something as big as a coffin, that wouldn't stop the seithr from leaking into the coffin! And not to mention that you are still are organic material at the end of the day!" Kokonoe said, unable to believe what she was hearing.

"And that is the least of your problems right now! Even if you have a place you have to be, there's no guarantee that the cauldron would just spit you out where you want to be! My honest opinion? You are better off just settling down in this world and forgetting about that world you came from." Kokonoe said as now it was Amy's turn to be shocked. "But we cannot afford to keep him in this world! If he does not return back now, who knows what kind of damage will be done to all the worlds!" Amy replied as the professor sighed.

"As if I give a crap about your duty! My goal is simply put to make sure a certain green haired bastard takes a permanent dirt nap. I don't care if I have to drag him down to the grave myself but I have got no time to waste on such nonsense like this!" The professor retorted as Sora wanted to say something at that moment but felt a sudden sensation strike him at the head. "Form the contract… Make us whole...Balmung…" A voice called as Sora felt a chill crawl up his back at that moment as he tried to compose himself.

'That voice again… what…' Sora thought before he held onto his head in brief pain. The painful sensation he felt could be akin to a brain freeze at that moment as he felt his body nearly turn to lead at that moment. He could feel like he wanted to faint but had to recompose himself quickly before his painful expressions caused the women around him to suspect something was off. "Then at least tell me where's the nearest cauldron I can go to so that I can yeet myself into it. Preferably one that does not have any excessive NOL troops around it." Sora quickly said both to hide the pain he was feeling in his head and also to get Kokonoe straight to her point.

The professor was about to argue with Sora at that moment but then briefly stopped herself from doing so. What was she doing arguing the ethics of people jumping into a cauldron out of desperation. If she just told the man now where the nearest cauldron is, allowed him and his friends to leave for said cauldron, that was it. She wouldn't waste any more time dealing with such nonsense and can focused on her own work.

But before Kokonoe could even think about saying what she wanted to say, another voice chimed in at that moment. "As much as that would be fine to know, maybe we should at least try and hear her out… she probably just wants us gone anyways so why rush." Bullet said, surprising everyone in the room again as Sora realized that he may have been too hasty with his choice of words and calmly sat down once again. Was it the voices in his head that compelled him to rush? Or something else entirely? Whatever the case was, Bullet saved him from making a fatal mistake.

Sora simply nodded his head at that moment and took a seat down. Meanwhile Professor Kokonoe couldn't help but feel like her best chance to shoo away the annoying busybodies had just flown right past her. Sora took a deep breath at that moment as he looked right back at the professor at that moment. "Sorry about that… yes I would still like to know where the nearest cauldron would be. But it's only for my personal knowledge, that's all there is to it." Sora explained as he could feel his mind calm down from the voice suddenly speaking to him.

"Well… based on your request, the best cauldron for you to go to would be the one in Ibukido. Sure it's got NOL personnel watching over it but at the very least, it's not as heavily guarded as most cauldrons are. With the current remodeling efforts there, the NOL should be more focused on getting things fixed rather than dealing with your ass there." Kokonoe said, hoping that would be enough for Sora to be satisfied and finally leave her alone.

"I see… that is one route I can consider taking if I have to." Sora said as Kokonoe nodded her head at that. "But besides that, I know I may sound like I am just repeating here, but is there really no answer to just jumping into a cauldron to get back to my time other than just to pray it takes me there and not be ripped apart in the process?" Sora questioned again as Kokonoe couldn't help but feel like she was truly being put in repeat and wanted to reply in a violent manner but looking at his face, something calming took over her instead as she took a deep breath, unable to be angry with him anymore.

"Yes. It is truly just blind hope and luck if you hope to end back to your own timeline. Even having a strong belief about where you come from is not going to be enough in a place known as the sea of souls." Kokonoe explained as Sora took a deep breath upon hearing that. He had hoped that the smartest woman in the world would have a much better idea of what he would need to do to go back home but it turns out that is not looking to be the case.

"That's great and all… but hurling yourself into a cauldron is never just as simple as just jumping into one isn't it? Do you even know what is inside a cauldron in the first place?" Bullet questioned as she had a brief idea of what is happening as Sora looked at the others before looking at her at that moment. "Actually not really. I have never jumped into a cauldron before so I wouldn't really know what to expect… that and there isn't much documentation about successful trips beyond the cauldron in the first place." Sora explained

"Then in any case, you don't really have much to lose. You don't belong here as you say and if the only way out of here is through jumping to your death or spending the rest of life in a place where nobody knows you, it's obvious you will take the only way out." Bullet said as Sora couldn't help but be caught off guard by that statement, his eyes blinking to process what he had just heard at that moment.

"We've only been working for a few days but that is enough for me to know you are willing to take any risk possible to get back, even those that seem like suicide. So don't let any of what she is saying dissuade you from just trying it out. Better to have tried rather than not done so in the first place." Bullet explained as she scratched the back of her head while she said that statement. "Well...I am pretty my boss at this point would have added onto the lines, "But also heed the warnings by those given to you and don't make a decision out of haste and desperation." At least something like that." Bullet continued as Sora couldn't help but smile upon hearing that.

"Well...I would say that both you and your boss are right about that. And that is some advice that I should take into consideration for this moment." Sora said as he felt a burden being released from his shoulder. Part of the reason why he went to the professor anyways to get an answer from her is mainly due to something deep inside his heart. He knows that he probably has one chance at this and cannot help but want to boost up his chances by any means necessary. In the past, he usually made reckless decisions that often times got the people around him hurt in some way and he didn't want that to happen again.

"In any case… while I may need more time to consider what I was just told… maybe it's about time for you to get what you want Bullet." Sora said as Bullet took a deep breath upon hearing what he had just said. Being given the permission to ask her questions, that was what Bullet had been waiting for this entire time as she waited patiently for the chance to do so. Sora may not have gotten the answer he had hoped so he could only hope that Bullet has better luck with her own questions.

Bullet meanwhile took another deep breath. How long had she waited for this opportunity? She had been waiting for this chance for so long and it was in front of her. In her head, Professor Kokonoe must have been expecting Sora's own set of questions to take so long that it would have ended with Sora either frustrated and leaving on his own terms or making him say something that would have given the professor her chance to kick them out of the base.

'Now that you have lost your only chance… now's my chance.' Bullet thought but she knew better than to just lunge on a cornered animal. She had to wait and be patient. If she made a wrong move now, she would not only end up biting herself in the ass but also throw away her best chance at getting her info. So she decided she needed to go for the jugular. "In that case… There's one question that I need to have answered the most." Bullet said as she leaned in closer to the good professor when she said so.

"My boss… what relation does he have with the Red Devil?" Bullet said as Kokonoe remained quiet at that moment. Sora on the other hand became curious about that and was about to say something only to feel Amy cover his mouth at that moment. "I would suggest that you remain quiet for this moment please Sora… as much as your own curiosity about that question tells you to ask away." Amy said with a rare serious tone that caught Sora a bit off guard but regardless, he decided to respect it anyways.

"He and Tager have nothing in common. You can just say he looks similar in a way." Kokonoe said, trying to clearly brush it off as some sort of phenomenon as Bullet slammed her fist down, making the bowls of chestnut parfait fly into the air briefly before they landed gracefully. Bullet took a couple of deep breathes, not wanting to waste precious air being angry as she focused her attention back to Professor Kokonoe again.

"You know that the odds of two people looking physically similar to each other is less that 1 percent. Even if the captain and the Red Devil really are just two individuals who look similar to each other, how much of that is the Red Devil's original appearance." Bullet replied as Kokonoe kept quiet as Sora could understand that frame of thought. If Iron Tager was constructed in some way, was the face he had right now his original face or maybe, just maybe, he had his face altered.

"I can tell you right now, Tager always looked like that. Is that really hard to believe?" Kokonoe said, doubling down on her original statement as Bullet closed her eyes, realising that Kokonoe was digging down on her heels and making sure that she stood firm in what she had just said. From just hearing that, Bullet should get angry and snap at that moment, maybe even threaten physical violence and punch the truth out of her right now.

There was just two main issues with the ideas she had. The first one was that she was not going to fight secretly one of the strongest individuals in the world. Professor Kokonoe may not look like it, but being born from both the strongest human witch in the world and a famous cat like samurai, she was naturally born a monster. Even if she barely fought her entire life, she is basically a walking nuclear bomb that could just spam a wide variety of magic and science her way.

The other reason is that Sora and Amy would get caught in the crossfire? Does that mean Bullet needed to protect them? Of course not, they were not weaklings and clearly had a lot of strength hidden underneath. But the professor had various ways to leverage her own interests against them. All she needed to do was just say something out of the ordinary and all three of them would be caught in the crossfire, along with any chance of her getting the truth she wanted.

Sora could feel the tension that was growing in the air and felt the urge to speak at that moment. Amy looked at him and wanted to continue stopping him but soon found herself being overpowered as Sora had to say his piece. "If that is the case, you should have his data on hand. Including what he originally looked like before his current self. You cannot tell me that he has always been a big red devil this entire time." Sora said as Kokonoe couldn't help but curse at how he said something that made sense.

"Yeah he is right. The Red Devil is clearly not just born in some test tube. He must have come from a place of origin, a birthplace to be more precise. If you are truly that confident that the captain and the Red Devil are truly separate individuals that just look the same, then you shouldn't have anything to fear by just revealing to us by the data." Bullet asked as Kokonoe bit down on her lips. Her attempts at reinforcing the lie had just backfired upon on her and now she was being cornered at that moment.

"I think you may have overstepped a bit Sora." Amy whispered, pushing him to the side as she had to make it clear what he had said was potentially future changing. Sora himself would have gasped upon hearing that if it wasn't for Amy covering his mouth again. "If Bullet were to find out the truth at this point, the timeline would have to heavily adjust or worse." Amy continued as Sora couldn't help but have a good counter argument towards such a thing.

"Isn't Bullet a small actor in this whole thing anyways, does it really matter if she finds out the truth earlier than she should?" Sora questioned. He himself was not so familiar with such things and he figured that the Master Unit simply readjust and corrects based on what is going on the world, only changing things if they are absolutely necessary. Case and point, his current situation that he was currently trying to undo at this very moment.

"Well yes, but even small actors have their roles to play in this world of ours. If they don't do what they are supposed to do, they are considered expendable in the eyes of the system." Amy said with a serious tone. Sora could tell that there was more to what she was saying than what she was letting up upon but he knew better to say something at that moment. "That means that they are not needed for the master unit's plans on their current timeline, so they are let to their own devices, which are fatal." Amy continued.

Sora couldn't help but raise his eyebrow upon hearing Amy's choice of words. "What's wrong with wanting to make your own destiny? Isn't that what most people would like to have at the end of the day?" Sora questioned as Amy looked away upon hearing that as she shook her head. "If it were only that simple…" Amy muttered as Sora looked at her confused before letting go as Bullet and Kokonoe continued to stare at each other deeply.

Bullet: So… are you going to keep things a secret or actually spill the details to me.

Kokonoe:… you want the truth or a comfortable lie

Bullet: The truth dammit. I don't care about being sold a lie that is convenient. I don't want to hear something like they died honorably or they did it for me or all of the other pieces of bullshit excuses your Sector Seven agents told me the years. All I want is to have some damn closure in my life.

Kokonoe:… and when you get that closure? What then? What will you do? You have spent the past few years basically chasing after me and every single Sector Seven agent I know of. Do you really think you can just move on with your life that casually after dedicating so much time and resources to do so?

Bullet:… I don't try to think that I will or feel that I can do so easily. But the longer I spend trying to justify the ends and means the longer I spent letting these doubts and fears eat me up inside. If I want to die the next day, let me die but don't you go thinking that keeping me in this cat and mouse game is what those guys… the boss thinks I would want in my life.

Kokonoe couldn't help but pause upon hearing Bullet say those words. Did those particular choice of words hit a particular chord in her heart? Not really, she has trained herself for so long to be resistant to such things. It was just that Bullet's choice of words at that moment reminded her of a time where she thought the same way Bullet did and she didn't now whether to be annoyed that she was looking at a mirror of herself or just disappointed that she lived long enough to see someone have the same mindset her old self would have had.

"And if the answer is not something you are satisfied with?" Kokonoe said as Bullet did not expect to hear Kokonoe say that, expecting her to still be adamant and refuse what she said again. Bullet calmed down and sat back down on her seat, taking a visible deep breath for everyone to see. "Then I will just have to accept it… even if it's a shitty answer from your side." Bullet said as there was nothing stopping Bullet from lying at this point and Bullet was preparing herself for just that.

"...You know, it would be a lot easier if you just refused but here we are." Kokonoe said as Amy felt a chill crawl up her back as she knew what that meant. "Fine. I'll tell you what I can. The only thing I ask is for your friends to step out for a bit. What I say needs to stay between us and us only." Kokonoe said as Sora was surprised yet glad to hear that. At least Bullet was going to get her answers now.

"If that's the case, me and Amy will just see ourselves out now." Sora said as he reached out to pick up the chestnut parfait bowls. "Oh please just leave them on the table. The least I can do is take them to the kitchen myself for giving me something sweet to munch down at least." Kokonoe said as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that. "As for you… please tell me you don't have anything else to ask me right now? I am pretty tired and need to focus on my own stuff." Kokonoe asked as Amy simply shook her head.

"Nothing much on my end, All I ask is that we stay for the night at least. Sure we can leave right now but being able to spend the night is a simple enough ask right?" Amy asked as Kokonoe sighed and stroked her forehead. "I can ask Kagura if he can spare some rooms for you guys. The most likely situation is that you guys can stay in 1 room together." Kokonoe said as Amy simply nodded her head upon hearing that.

"Come on Sora, let's give them some space." Amy said as that was their cue to leave the cafeteria finally as when the massive doors closed behind them, Sora could feel a glare go his way as Sora scratched his head. "Well… I just hope that Bullet is able to get the closure she seeks at least." Sora said before feeling a punch land on his stomach. Sora coughed a bit at that moment as he looked at Amy at that moment.

"What was that for?" Sora questioned as he looked at Amy confused. "We should have just left her on her own." Amy said as Sora looked at her confused. At this point, someone would have argued with Amy at this point, arguing that their decision was the right one and that helping someone was better than not helping. But after having had a peek behind the curtain on how life worked, Sora knew that there was more to it than what she was telling.

"Are you trying to say that by helping her, I may have doomed her to a fate worse than what she was originally meant to have? Or that I brought her closure too soon and that now wasn't her time to learn the truth?" Sora questioned as Amy was surprised by the measured response Sora had. She had expected him to argue with the validity of his choice but Sora being reasonable… was strange to her, was it because he took a peek underneath what was happening the world or something else entirely?

"I...I…" Amy soon found herself unable to retort back as she didn't know how to feel about what she was about to say being taken away from her as Sora took a deep breath and scratch the back of his head. "Look...as much as I hate my current situation, I can understand to an extent why you guys operate the way you do. I just try to not let that cloud my decision too much… at least that is what I hope." Sora explained as Amy saw him take another deep breath.

"Ummm..excuse me you two, is the professor in the cafeteria?" A voice chimed as the two turned to see not a person in front of them and in the case of Amy, her face was literally in direct staring contact of this person's crotch as she blushed a bit before looking up to see who it was. "Oh… The Red devil…" Amy said, her voice sounding a bit bashful as Tager had a good idea of what she had seen and what her mind was thinking at that moment but decided against bringing up the obvious for good reason.

"Am I intruding on you two?" Tager questioned as Sora shook his head. "Kokonoe's inside talking with Bullet right now? Is there something you wanted to talk to her about?" Sora questioned as Tager simply nodded his head at that. "I simply wish to discuss with Professor Kokonoe about the details for tomorrow's mission. I had hoped we would be able to do after my maintenance but I decided to speak to her directly after realising that she was taking longer than usual to finish." Tager explained as Sora simply nodded his head at that moment.

"Well… you can just wait outside here with us while Kokonoe takes her time to finish what she is saying to Bullet or you can go inside right now. Both are perfectly valid options." Sora said as Tager looked at the cafeteria door before shaking his head. "I can sense that an intense conversation is being had inside there… It's best if I wait for her back at the lab." Tager said as Sora nodded his head before deciding to ask Tager a small and not so harmful question.

"Say Tager… before becoming the Red Devil… do you remember much about your old life?" Sora questioned as Tager paused a bit upon hearing that. Amy wanted to stop Sora from going any further but felt like she wasn't needed at that moment for some reason. "… It does come up from time to time yes, but at the same time, the person I am now is thanks to the professor. Even if she has a bit of an attitude problem, she is a genuine person beneath all that crass." Tager explained as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that.

"That I doubt but I am guessing you trust her because you both worked with each other for quite some time now." Sora said, leaning his back on the wall as his own mind was in thought at that moment. "You may not look like it but I can tell, you are someone who was shaped in the battlefield." Tager said as Sora couldn't help but jokingly raise his prosthetic arm upon hearing that, mainly as a jest to what he had just heard.

"If I can give you some advice, Find someone you can place your full trust upon. You got great potential in the future to do great things under the right supervision." Tager said as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that. "Sorry. It's not like I don't understand the whole team thing… but I have been burned by too many organisations and leadership structures to care about such things these days… But I at least do have something I am fighting for." Sora answered as Tager nodded his head in understanding.

"That's all a soldier really needs at the end of the day, something to fight for. Never forget that." Tager said as he then took his leave, walking rather silently despite his massive frame as Sora couldn't help but stare at the ceiling upon hearing that. "...Hey Amy, serious question here… Was Makoto going to have a happy ending before she did what she did. Honest question here." Sora asked as Amy was surprised to hear that and maybe if she lied here, she could convince Sora to maybe course correct and accept being erased.

"Makoto was…" Before Amy could even think of a lie to speak, she couldn't help but freeze at that moment. Why couldn't she just lie at that moment? It was right there, waiting for the lie to go through. "Makoto…" Amy continued to stutter as Sora looked at her confused. He couldn't help but think that she was struggling to find the words that she needed to say. Why couldn't she lie to this man. If she did, she could change the fate of the world at that moment.

"… I guess it's hard to say I guess." Sora said as he shrugged his shoulders. "There's no need to force yourself to answer Amy. I was just thinking about stuff is all." Sora said as he turned to go and walk around for a bit in the NOL Base. Amy did not know why she froze at that moment as she looked at the back of Sora at that moment. When she did, a brief image popped into her mind as she shook her head greatly at that.

'What…' Amy thought as the image began to grow stronger in her mind, the faint image of a person she thought she had long forgotten began to manifest itself on Sora, their back facing away from her the same way as she gasped for a bit. She thought she was hallucinating things when she saw what she saw but what if… just what if… "And where are you going Sora?" Amy questioned as Sora turned towards her to look at her directly in the face.

"Just going to take a walk for a bit. Need to process everything and think about my next steps is all." Sora said before leaving as Amy just watched as he walked away from her, the image growing stronger before finally vanishing when he went to the next hallway. Amy simply kept quiet upon hearing that as she wondered why she didn't just lie at that moment. She didn't lie and now she may not be able to anymore as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath upon the thought hitting her head. A simple thought hit her head at that very moment…

...Just what is she doing right now?..

GREETINGS LOST SHEEP OF FANFICTION!? HOW IS EVERYONE DOING ON THIS FINE DAY!? I am doing well myself. I understand that this chapter may feel much shorter than most but that is a bit intentional on my part. I mainly wrote this chapter to be shorter than normal but don't worry. I made sure it was packed with enough content to make sure you guys didn't feel like you were missing things out.

SO WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT!? WHAT WILL BE SORA'S NEXT DECISION!? WAS THE ANSWERS THAT HE RECEIVED SATISFACTORY AND GIVE HIM THE CONFIDENCE TO GO THROUGH WHAT HE NEEDS TO DO OR WILL THERE STILL BE SOME HESITANCE IN HIS HEART TO GO THROUGH THE UNKNOWN!? Well, all of that and the rest of the people involved will be revealed on the next distortion.
