Previously on Canon Distortion

Sora Minakaze and Makoto Nanaya both decided to go and have some nice Chinese food at the 13th hierarchical city's oriental district. When they arrived at their destination they found themselves conversing with their friends where they found out one of them has actually kept their memories of the world. After making plans with them, it seemed that things were starting to go their way. Unfortunately a run in with a certain grim reaper may turn their fortunes over their head in more ways than one…

And now, the continuation of Canon Distortion

A Chinese Restaurant, A place where people go to enjoy Chinese food regardless of the specific type of cuisine. Every single Hierarchical city involved enjoys Chinese food to a certain degree, whether it be general cuisine or a more specialized type of Szechuan or Cantonese. Sora Minakaze was going to try again to see if the Chinese food he had last time at the 13th hierarchical city was bad by coincidence or truly horrible to his palate. However there was an issue he had snagged with that plan.

"Ooohhhh Come on Good Guy, Tao's dying over here." Taokaka, the kakan said as Sora was sat in between Ragna and Taokaka at that moment. "Give me a moment Tao, I am trying to decide what would be good to have." Ragna explained as Sora couldn't help but sweat upon hearing that. 'How on Earth did I find myself in this mess.' Sora thought to himself as he couldn't help but think back to just a few minutes ago…

When he found himself on this situation…

FLASHBACK

SORA POV

Oh god what am I going to do? I was just about to head into the restaurant to have dinner with everyone else but instead of doing so immediately I decided to go and enjoy the nice windy breeze. Now here I am face to face with the Grim Reaper himself and the strange stray cat that tried to attack me that time. "You! You're Rawgna!" The cat immediately accused as I looked around to my left and right for a little bit before pointing my finger towards myself.

"Yeah you! You're that famous criminal!" The cat accused as I had to shake my head and hand upon hearing that. "I'm not Ragna The Bloodedge, the man you are with is Ragna The Bloodedge." I said as the cat shook her head furiously. "How dare you accuse good guy Rawgna! You will pay for that!" the cat shouted before a loud growl could be heard coming out of her stomach. "Oooohhh…. How unfortunate that Tao met you while weakened like this. You will not get away with this Rawgna." The cat, calling herself Tao said as I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for the poor thing.

"Come on Tao, let's not go accusing other people of being criminals now. Let's focus on getting dinner right now." Ragna the Bloodedge said as I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry upon hearing him say that. "Ummmm… I need to ask you something." I questioned as I could feel the infamous grim reaper look at me however something was different about him. Instead of the delinquent style I got from him, he looked like a normal guy as he looked at me a bit confused.

"Uhhh...Do you need something?" Ragna questioned, asking rather politely. I must admit, that is pretty creepy to hear coming from this infamous grim reaper's mouth. "Do you guys even have enough money to pay for any kind of dinner?" I questioned as I figured I might as well ask that basic question. However, by asking that question I think I must have struck some fear into the man as he felt around his pockets before shaking his head.

"It...It looks like I have no way to pay." Ragna said as I could hear Tao meow loud upon hearing that statement. "Oh nyoo… Me and good guy are going to die…" Tao moaned as I couldn't help but feel a sense of pity for these two. "Come on now. We are not going to die without food." Ragna said before a loud growl was heard coming from Ragna's own stomach. "Though it would be nice to have something to eat soon." Ragna said as he rubbed his forehead upon saying that, clearly in thought. A part of me was hoping they would go on their way but another part of me hates seeing them starve like this.

Sora: I guess I can pay for you guys this one time.

Tao: Really!? You will!?

Ragna: Woah there! Not so soon Tao. How can I trust you to not just bail on us before paying the bill

Sora: Cuz I won't bail on hungry people… that's rude even for me.

Ragna: Uh huh… and how are you going to prove that?

"By paying for your dinner. You guys were planning to have dinner here no?" I said, pointing towards the Chinese restaurant as Tao nodded her head greatly. "Yeah! Tao loves the meat buns over here and I was going to take good guy over here to have him try!" Tao said as Ragna sighed upon hearing that. "I guess we were going to have dinner here… But I don't feel good in owing someone money." Ragna explained as I shook my head upon hearing him make that statement.

"Come on now, there's no need for you to say something like that. I genuinely want to treat you guys to a decent dinner at the very least." I said, understanding that trying to get someone's trust is often the most difficult part especially as a stranger. Ragna looked like he was having a difficult time trying to decide whether or not to trust me while Tao the cat simply continued to mew weakly, clearly wanting to eat something before she died.

"Tao doesn't want to die young meow. Even if it's from Rawgna…" Tao said as I couldn't help but sweat a bit upon hearing that. Did I really look that similar to Ragna the Blood… No that's just silly to think, that's just the thoughts of a crazy cat. "… Alright fine, we will get dinner here. But you are going to pay or else." Ragna said, giving a stern warning as he really did feel different for some reason.

"That's fair. In any case, we should definitely get her into the restaurant and have her eat something." I said as Ragna nodded his head as Tao simply dropped to the ground, laying flat on the ground. "Ooohhh….Tao's not going top make it…." Tao said as I couldn't help but feel like she was being a bit too over dramatic but her stomach growled louder upon her saying that. "Oh great. Hey help me out over here. Looks like she's not going to be moving on her own anytime soon." Ragna explained as I sighed a little bit before shaking my head.

...How did things end up the way they have…

As Sora finished recalling how he ended up in his position, he couldn't help but watch what was happening in front of him as Ragna the Bloodedge and Taokaka the Kakan ate the food in front of them live carnivorous animals. "OOOHH THANK YOU FOR YOUR BLESSINGS MEAT BUNS! TAO WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR FLUFFINESS." Tao said as she ate more of the meat buns that was in front of her face.

"This is really good. It does feel like a while since I had food of any kind so I feel like I was starving." Ragna said as he ate his ramen without much care. Sora could only stare at the two enjoying their meal as Sora waited for his own to come soon. "Sora….Earth to Sora…" A voice said to his ears as he knew who was trying to call for him. "Uhhhh… you guys go ahead and enjoy yourselves, I need to use the restroom." Sora said as both Tao and Ragna nodded their heads, allowing the man to dismiss himself to head towards the restrooms where a certain woman waited for him.

"So… To think we would find Ragna The Bloodedge here of all places." Makoto said as she had her arms crossed, eyes closed as she was processing the current situation they had found themselves in. "And you say that he's not exactly the same grim reaper we know him as yeah?" Makoto questioned as Sora nodded his head. "I haven't asked him about it yet but if I had to put it to words… He's more...normal?" Sora explained as Makoto genuinely did not know how she should process such a statement.

"Are you trying to say that he's basically a normal guy in this timeline right now?" Makoto said as Sora shook his head. "It's not like he's a normal guy, he's clearly still got his power it's just that...he's different mentally." Sora explained as Makoto was not sure how to feel about such a statement. "Do you know he still has his powers due to your connection as a Black Beast?" Makoto questioned as Sora shrugged his shoulders upon hearing that statement.

"I wouldn't say that I would need such a thing to know… just call it a hunch I guess." Sora explained as Makoto could only sigh, realizing that Sora himself was not sure how to explain things to her. "In any other case, We better make sure that the NOL and Ragna don't meet each other in this restaurant at all costs." Makoto explained as Sora nodded his head. "How are the others doing? Are they asking where I went?" Sora questioned as Makoto nodded her head.

"I managed to convince them that you saw a couple of friends and went to have a chat with them for a while. Hunter did help back up that claim so everyone's none the wiser." Makoto explained as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that statement. "Sorry about all of that. Things just happened the way they did." Sora said as Makoto shook her head. "No this is a good thing, we did want to search for Ragna the Bloodedge and see where he is going. Things are going our way for once." Makoto said as Sora smiled upon hearing that as he stood beside her and held her hand upon hearing her make that statement.

"That is a relief to hear, I was worried that you were going to be jealous that you were not going to have dinner next to me." Sora teased as Makoto couldn't help but smile and lightly pinch Sora in the nose. "How adorable of you. I am, not that needy Sora." Makoto explained as Sora chuckled upon hearing that statement. "That's a good thing to hear, but at the same time I really do wish you would be a bit more needy sometimes." Sora teased back, kissing her at that moment as she smiled.

"You just go and find out what Ragna is trying to do while I keep the others busy. If all goes according to plan, we should know where Ragna is heading and we can just follow him to where he is heading together." Makoto said as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that. "Meanwhile, I will focus on trying to figure out what the NOL is going to do next. The sooner we can find out where they are heading, the better we can plan for the worst." Makoto continued as Sora agreed with that statement as well.

"Just be careful when you do so. The last thing we need is for everyone to suspect you of being some kind of mole." Sora explained as Makoto nodded her head upon hearing that. "What about that mercenary Bullet and Tager? Should we let them know as well about our current plans?" Makoto questioned as Sora wondered if they should really do such a thing or leave things be. "That would probably be a last resort. I trust Bullet but I am not sure if she can really help us with her own situation." Sora explained as Makoto tilted her head upon hearing that response.

"If you say so… personally do think more hands would be better in the long term. But I will leave the decision to let Bullet know about this to you. You know her better than me after all." Makoto said as Sora smiled and gave her a kiss on the forehead upon hearing her say that. "That's a relief to here. Just don't pick a fight with her the next time you two meet or else." Sora said as Makoto nodded her upon hearing that, making it clear to him that she understood.

"Now I better head back, Don't want those two thinking that I bailed on them and left them to die." Sora explained as Makoto nodded her head upon hearing that statement, agreeing that would be the most likely case as one swift kiss later and the two left to see their respective table. The first thing Sora saw upon returning to his table was Taokaka stuffing her face with even more meatbuns and some of the noodles while Ragna watched the carnage in front of him.

"Mmnnnn, these are so good! Tao can keep on eating this forever!" Tao said as Ragna simply wiped sweat off his forehead. "Geez, I know I was hungry but this is ridiculous even for me." Ragna said as he noticed Sora taking a seat at that moment, watching the sight in front of him at that moment. "Ahhh, You're back. I hope you have enough money to pay for the amount of meat buns that Tao is devouring." Ragna questioned as Sora simply stared at the sight.

"It's alright… Don't worry, I have more than enough money to pay for how much Tao's been eating." Sora said as he saw one spare meat bun that was left on the steamer basket. "Rawgna… I do not trust you, but take this steamed bun and I may trust you." Tao said as Sora sweated a little bit upon hearing that before. "Didn't I tell you that I am not Rawgna already?" Sora said as he grabbed the steamed bun and ate it in front of Tao and Ragna's eyes.

"But who else could you be! You have the white hair and look like a bad guy! I even have your poster over here!" Tao said as Sora was chewing on his steamed buns with his eyes closed. "My pos…" Before Sora knew it, he had to hold himself back from violently spitting out the meat bun that he was eating. He stared at the poster that was in front of his eyes and couldn't help but gawk a little bit at the abomination in front of his eyes.

"That….That is supposed to be Rawgna?" Sora questioned as he simply stared at the picture in front of him. He heard a small thud across the table as he turned to see Ragna having just faceplanted on the table as he saw the image that Tao was holding on her paws. "That looks absolutely nothing like him...or me even. And that is my wanted poster?" Ragna questioned as this was enough to draw some curiosity to Sora's way.

"Tell me something Ragna… Do you… Do you happen to suffer from some sort of memory loss?" Sora questioned as that was enough to make Ragna look at him with a bit of a wide eye on him. "You...You know me?" Ragna questioned as Sora was surprised to hear that answer come out from the grim reaper's mouth. "Not as a friend… more like someone who knows you roughly." Sora explained as he knew the way he had just explained himself to Ragna probably made him more suspicious in Ragna's eyes.

"It's really complicated and with your current situation, me explaining myself would probably cause more problems. To make things simple for now, I am your friend, not your enemy." Sora said as Ragna paused for a bit before nodding his head at that statement. "At the very least, I can tell you're telling the truth and it would really be a pain in the ass for you to explain. If you're saying that you're my friend, you're my friend." Ragna said as Sora breathed a sigh of relief, Tao placing another meat bun in front of Sora's plate.

"Yeah! Tao trusts you Good Guy 2!" Tao said as Sora couldn't help but look at her confused upon hearing that statement. "Good guy 2? Are you implying that Ragna's good guy 1?" Sora said as Tao nodded her head. "Yes Meow! Good guy's the original good guy! And you are the second good guy! I would call you something like whitey or blackie but they didn't sound right. So Good guy 2 it is!" Tao said as Sora didn't know whether to take her statement as a compliment or an insult.

"I guess it's better than being called Rawgna and having people ambush me in the process." Sora said as a plate of food was placed in front of him. "Here you go sir! Your Mapo Tofu and your Wonton soup!" The waitress said as Sora smiled and nodded upon hearing that. A plate of rice followed and Sora smiled, ready to eat the meal that was in front of him, the redemption food so to speak.

"Ooooohhh, That looks really good." Tao said, Sora noticing Tao eying his mapo tofu as he smiled a bit. "You want some?" Sora questioned as Tao couldn't help but lunge at the opportunity, scooping some onto a spoon and eating it immediately. As soon as she did however, she began to pant a little as Sora noticed Tao panting a bit. "Meow! What is that good guy 2! This food tastes so spicy! And my thungue fheels so nhumb!" Tao said, waving her mouth in the process as she grabbed the glass of water.

"Why that's the point? Mapo Tofu's meant to deliver a numbing sensation when you eat it." Sora explained as he ate the mapo tofu next, chewing on the meal in front of him without as much of a sweat forming on his brow as he looked like he was enjoying the taste of the dish in front of him. "Meow, Wow… you can eat something that spicy without breaking a sweat? Forget good guy 2, you are now spicy guy." Tao said, speaking as if she was amazed by what she was watching.

'Spicy guy? I mean that sounds better than good guy 2 but at the same time...spicy guy?' Sora thought as he couldn't help but find it weird that he was being nicknamed for the fact that he liked eating hot food. But at the very least, the mapo tofu he was eating actually tasted decent. It was starting to truly look like that the meal he had at the time was just with the wrong person. Who knows, maybe the wonton soup he was about to have next would be the next home run and he would actually be able to enjoy the meal in front of him.

The first thing his tongue tasted the moment he drank the soup was a strong taste of saltiness that did not feel refreshing to drink. He knew he was supposed to be drinking a savory soup so he expected some saltiness but the soup he had just drank was just salty with a mix of oiliness on top. He winced a bit as the taste was something that was not pleasant. He then took a bite out of the wonton to try and have the flavor from the dumpling get rid of the saltiness he was feeling.

The wonton was simply too doughy to be enjoyed, the ratio between meat and flour was overpowered by just flour. He didn't know if there was such a thing as too much flour but this wonton was proving to be the case. The meat that was inside tasted fine but the flour was too much to actually taste the meat inside. Sora did not dare to spit out the food however, having much respect to the chef to not go that far.

"Ooohhh… that...that looked like it was not much to enjoy." Ragna commented as he used his chopsticks to grab a piece of wonton from Sora's bowl to try for himself. His face immediately scowled a bit as he understood why Sora reacted the way he did. "Yeah… this is really not good to eat." Ragna commented as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that. "I think I want to eat more of my mapo tofu but these wontons are not doing it for me." Sora said as a thought immediately came up to his mind.

'These wontons are so bad I would actually dine and dash because of them. If it wasn't for how good this mapo tofu is, I would have actually run away from this place pronto.' Sora thought as that was just how bad the wontons he had were. "Yeah… I doubt even someone like Tao would eat these wontons." Ragna said as Tao used her paws to grab the wontons and tried it herself. "BLEH… Wow that is a bad meat bun." Tao said as Sora looked at her with confusion upon hearing that. "You count wontons as meat buns?" Sora said as Tao nodded, making Sora go huh in the process.

"Regardless, we shouldn't be wasting food. You ordered it, so you eat it." Ragna said as Sora looked at him surprised to hear Ragna say such a thing. "What? Did I say something weird?" Ragna questioned as Sora shook his head. "No… It's just… I did not expect you to say something like that. I had figured you would fight me for whatever reason." Sora said as Ragna looked at him surprised by that statement.

"Do I really look like the kind who wants to have violence?" Ragna said as Sora scratched his head, unsure how to respond to such a comment. "I mean… I know you are a good guy but on the outside, you just look like a ruffian you know." Sora explained as Ragna's eyebrows raised even higher upon hearing that statement. "A ruffian you say… that's one way of putting it." Ragna said as Sora simply nodded his head at that.

"Tell me something Ragna… How much about yourself do you actually remember?" Sora questioned, understanding that now he had relaxed the grim reaper with some food, now was probably the best time to ask an important question like this as instead of scowling upon hearing that statement, Ragna leaned his back on the chair and looked at the ceiling above. "To be frank… not much if any really. Hell I first came to, I didn't even know who I was. I'm only here in this city because a giant cat told me to." Ragna explained as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that statement.

"That...that sounds really rough." Sora said as Ragna sighed and nodded his head. "I agree, and it hasn't been easy. I have had a few people attack me already all because of the bounty that's on my head, a bounty that I am not even sure why I have in the first place other than being told I am wanted by this NOL." Ragna explained as Sora was beginning to understand the severity of Ragna's amnesia. He had thought it was just amnesia for the past few months but the fact it was as strong as forgetting his name told him that Ragna was basically a new born babe minus the fact that he was able to take care of himself to an extent.

"Do you at least have an idea of where you need to go?" Sora questioned, hoping his question did not come off as prodding. Ragna scratched his head upon hearing that answer. "Honestly, I've got not a single clue. I've heard that I was famous for wrecking cauldrons so I figured I might as well head to the cauldron here, see if going to one will help jog my memory." Ragna explained as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that answer.

"Wrecking cauldrons huh…" Sora said as he looked down and took another bite of his mapo tofu upon hearing that statement. "That would probably be the best option. I am not sure what you are supposed to do there but if you want to find out more about yourself it's better to try and figure out your past rather than spin around doing nothing." Sora said, giving some sage advice in the process as Ragna couldn't help but agree with that statement.

"Hey you're right. Thanks for agreeing with my idea." Ragna said as Sora smiled upon hearing that. He was happy that he was able to give advice to the world's most wanted man and have him accept it. "So I am guessing you are heading straight there after you finish dinner?" Sora questioned as Ragna nodded his head. "I don't really see any point to hanging around for much longer. I really want to find out more about myself." Ragna said as Sora smiled and nodded his head.

"But if I have to be honest a little… I am a bit scared to do so." Ragna said, surprising Sora to hear him respond like so. "And why's that?" Sora questioned as Ragna looked up the ceiling upon hearing that question. "Well… I mean… Am I really as bad as people say I am? I cannot really help but think I was just a really shitty person before my current situation. What if I really am just that bad of a person?" Ragna questioned.

"And does that really matter to you?" Sora questioned as Ragna could tell that Sora was not saying it casually but asking it through a genuine question. "I mean… I don't think it is but at the same time I don't know how I will feel if that is really the case." Ragna said as Sora nodded his head upon hearing that. "Meow, Good guy's in such pain. This amnyesia really sucks huh." Tao said but Sora shook his head upon hearing that statement.

"I won't say having amnesia is a good thing… but at the same time you shouldn't really fear what you learn at the end of the day." Sora said, raising Ragna's eyebrow upon hearing Sora make that statement. "Who cares what the world thinks about you? You are your own person and that is how it should be. You must have some respect for yourself even if you have amnesia, that's what living is about in general." Sora said as Ragna looked at his bowl upon hearing that statement.

"Self respect huh…" Ragna said as Sora nodded his head. "A long time ago… I used to think that I needed to do things on my own in order to make sure the people in my life were not harmed in any way. But now, I can see that doing something like that was just hurting the people in my life." Sora said as Ragna was surprised to see Sora open up about his life a little bit but decided against interupting it.

"I'm not saying you should do the same and find people to help you out. I am saying that you shouldn't be afraid of what you learn. Just make sure to not take it in face value and try to be different." Sora said as Ragna smiled upon hearing that statement. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks for the tips." Ragna replied as Tao sniffed upon hearing that. "Wow… Tao did not understand a thing but it sounded so profound… Spicy guy really knows his stuff." Taokaka said as Sora couldn't help but sweat upon hearing that statement.

"You actually know a word like profound? Or are you the kind who likes to say something that sounds fancy to make it sound better." Sora questioned as Tao simply looked at him confused upon hearing that statement, answering Sora's question unintentionally. "In any other case, you should probably get going. Don't worry about the bill, I will pay for it while you guys leave." Sora said as Ragna smiled upon hearing that.

"Hey thanks… You're the first guy I know that hasn't tried to attack me in any way." Ragna said as Sora smiled and shook his head. "You don't need to worry about that, I am used to being judged myself." Sora said as Ragna chuckled upon hearing that. "Yeah with the way you look, I presume you have a lot of people thinking you are either a bad guy or a chuunibyou." Ragna commented as Sora became confused at that last word.

'Chuunibyou? I need to ask Makoto what that word actually means. And didn't that sound like a japanese term?' Sora thought, putting that word aside in his mind as something he needed to learn and also happy to know deep inside that there is more Japanese he neeeded to learn. "Oh, Before I go, What's your name? It's only fair that I know it since you know mine and you didn't spend the past 30 minutes with me and Tao, having dinner just to ambush us." Ragna said as Sora smiled and stood up at that moment.

"Sora, Sora Minakaze." Sora said, raising his hand to shake Ragna's as Ragna shook his hand with the arm containing the azure grimoire. At that moment, Sora and Ragna felt something strike each other as it felt like lightning had struck their backs. They both froze briefly as they did not know what they were feeling but they both knew that they felt it together. The looks they gave each other told them all that words would have been wasted.

"Are you two alright? You both look so white?" Tao questioned as both Sora and Ragna shook their heads greatly, shaking the shock that they both felt before looking at each other once again. "Sorry about that. Just blanked for a bit." Sora said as Ragna shook his head. "There's no need to apologize man. I was just thinking about something as well." Ragna said as Tao simply looked at the two even more confused by their statements.

"In any case, it's nice to meet you Ragna." Sora said as Ragna nodded his head. "Agreed. See you around, Sora Minakaze." Ragna said as he walked out of the restaurant upon saying that statement. "Hey good guy! Wait!" Tao said as she rushed out of the table to catch up to Ragna at that moment. Sora took a deep breath and sat down on his chair. He struggled to process what he had just experienced as he looked at his hand, seeing it shake quite a bit as he did not know what to think.

'What did I just experience…' Sora thought as he felt a hand be placed on his shoulder, prompting him to turn around and see it was Hunter who was checking up on him. "Hey Sora…" Hunter said as Sora simply nodded his head. "Makoto wanted to check up on you but then got distracted by other things and asked me to check on you instead." Hunter explained as Sora nodded his head at that, understanding what he had just said.

"Did something happen between you guys? You look rather pale right now." Hunter said as before Sora could express what he had just experienced, a loud noise could be heard coming out of the restaurant. Sora stood up at that moment about to leave the restaurant but before he did walked up to the cash register and pulled out a few platinum dollars and placed them in front of the cashier. He may have not liked the wontons but at the very least, the mapo tofu was something worth paying over.

As Sora pushed the doors of the restaurant open, he was greeted to a rather violent sight. The ground had been dug out of the road as Ragna had his hand on his weapon, gripping it tightly as his gaze was focused on the person in front of him. Sora traced Ragna's gaze to the source of the disturbance and his eyes widened upon seeing who was responsible. "It took me long enough to find you but here you are." A young boy said as Ragna tilted his head.

"And you are?" Ragna questioned as the young boy grabbed his hat and gingerly bowed before Ragna The Bloodedge. "Carl Clover. Independent Vigilantee." Carl said as Ragna looked at him confused. "A vigilantee? I don't know what that is but it's clear to me that you're too young to be doing this kind of thing." Ragna said as Carl tilted his head confused by that statement. "Ragna The Bloodedge does not know what a vigilantee is? That is most concerning indeed." Carl said as Ragna took a few steps back upon hearing that statement.

"In any other case, What do you want from me? And why is it so important you sent Tao flying?" Ragna questioned as Sora realized that Tao was nowhere in the area, telling him that the hole on the ground was most likely where Tao was just standing. "Why the Azure Grimoire of course. You are the only person in the world known for having it." Carl explained as Sora's eyes widened even more upon hearing that. At that moment, Sora heard the footsteps get louder behind him as he saw Makoto, Noel and Hunter approaching him at that moment.

"Sora what's going….!?" Makoto said as she saw what was going on outside. Sora looked at what was going on and realized that if Ragna did not get away from this, something bad was most likely going to happen to him. Makoto could see it in Sora's eyes and understood him all too well as she turned around and grabbed Noel and Hunter at that moment. "Makoto what are you…" "We've got to make sure everyone inside's safe and sound. Outside's not safe right now." Makoto said as Hunter understood what she was doing at that moment.

Noel: But that sound…

Hunter: I know Noellie but at the same time we have to do our job as NOL and make sure everyone inside the restaurant's safe. We need to make sure that nobody gets out into a warzone.

Noel: Couldn't Kagura handle that by himself and we can help out with the people inside?

Makoto: He will need us to do a quick head count of everyone inside. Once he does so we can go and make sure everyone outside is equally safe.

Hunter: I know it's frustrating Noellie but it's the most efficient way.

Noel struggled to reason her way past the logic both Hunter and Makoto proposed to her as she nodded her head upon hearing that. "Then let's hurry and do that right now." Noel said as both Makoto and Hunter nodded their heads. Makoto then made sure Hunter escorted Noel away from the door as she quickly turned to see Sora looking at her. At that moment she gave him the thumbs up, letting him go to work as Sora grabbed the restaurant doors and slammed them shut, making sure it was closed as he turned to face the young Clover.

"I'm Afraid I cannot let you do that Carl." Sora said as he stood between Ragna The Bloodedge and Carl Clover at that moment. "You got something you need to do right? Leave him to me." Sora said as Ragna looked at him surprised before nodding his head in gratitude. Carl tried to stop Ragna from escaping by using a couple of gears he shot out of his cape but Sora used his new gun to fire a few shots to stop the gears in their tracks.

"And why are you standing in my way Mr Minakaze? We could have worked together to subdue the most wanted criminal." Carl said as Sora simply shook his head at that moment. "I'm sorry to say this but I want that bounty myself. I am not letting you get in the way of my catch." Sora replied, using an answer that would fit as Carl simply scoffed upon hearing that statement. "So you are just like the other vigilantees after his bounty, a glory hound. I have no time for your kind right now so I am just going to make quick work out of you." Carl said as Sora immediately sensed danger coming his way and jumped at that moment, avoiding a pair of giant fingernails from impaling him in the chest.

"I apologize for doubting your earlier suspicions of him Nirvana… This man truly is a dangerous man after all." Carl said as Sora felt the presence from the cold machine be directed at him yet again. He knew he was going to have to face off against the young vigilantee and his dangerous partner but he had to make sure that they did not get everyone else involved in this fight. "2 vs 1. How nice of you two. How about I even the odds a little." Sora said as charged not for Carl but for Nirvana, smashing the Rev Blade's blunt side on her and using his strength to push her as hard as he could right into a building's wall, creating a massive wall of dust.

"Nirvana!" Carl shouted as he felt his back get kicked at that moment, being sent a direction as the citizens coughed greatly, wondering what had just happened but the dust that had kicked up around them prevented the people from seeing what was going on around them. As soon as the dust settled, everyone's eyes were greeted to the sight of a building's wall having collapsed and the people responsible for causing said destruction now missing.

GREETINGS LOST SHEEP OF FANFICTION!? HOW IS EVERYONE DOING ON THIS FINE DAY!? Man, we are about 3 months away from ending 2023. For once, this whole year has been rather peaceful. No crazy events happening in our world 24/7 and actually being able to live our lives without worrying about what is happening. For once, this actually makes me so happy that 2023 is finally peaceful and hope that 2024 is going to be the same. Watch as I type this and something miserable happens as a result.
