Rise Of G-Morph And The Amazing Spider-Man by Amit Barabi:

Here is a summary for those who read this story on their phone's browser:

Eunice chooses Gwen Stacy as the successor of the Hero Of Heroes, Ben Tennyson. Please read and enjoy her origin as the heroine, G-Morph, and her ever-growing adventure with her arachnoid boyfriend, Spider-Man. This story is mainly based on the movies The Amazing Spider-Man and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it also has some original ideas. Peter and Gwen are pairing. I was inspired by The Incredible Muffin's My Alien Academia and Ben 10: Unlimited. This story was originally titled "Wristed Heroes." This is the first story of my big planned series, Amit's Cinematic Universe, or A.C.U. for short.

Ben 10 does not belong to me. Spider-Man does not belong to me. The way I make them interact with each other does belong to me.

Thank you all for the supporting reviews.

Chapter 12: I Found You.

Rewrite this scene to make Gwen more optimistic

Gwen woke up that Sunday morning. She had tried to fix the Omnitrix as Greymatter and set the Omnitrix to manual [Recharge Mode] several times, but it only accelerated the repair of random features at the time by a short amount. When she looked at her menu, she saw the following.

[Power core's integrity is compromised.]

[Repairs are still in progress.]

[You are suspended from the full potential of your current privileges for the next eight days.]

Transformation Mode (Accessible) [6 Available Transformations]

In theory, if she could get one feature fixed entirely, the rest would get repaired faster, but since the accelerated repair was random, she could not achieve that any time soon. She may have to wait for the rest of those 8 days to regain her full potential.

"Well, at least I have an extra minute if I need to use the watch," Gwen mumbled, "I hope Eunice won't be angry with me when she wakes up this evening."

The last time Eunice was upset with Gwen's choices, she had paralyzed her legs in a position that gave Peter a better look at her underwear than what that slut Felicia gave him last night. After kissing Peter for the first time and getting help from both Eunice and him against Ratz Maher and Alien V's assault, Gwen forgave Eunice the next day and let go of her anger.

Gwen has already prepared several ways to apologize for damaging the Omnitrix. She hoped Eunice could assure her that Ben would not punish her for her action. She would have probably shown Peter her underwear again if it meant getting her friend to forgive her and keeping her boyfriend away from Felicia. She may have feared sex and wouldn't go all out with Peter until they graduated, but she wanted him for herself, and she knew how he made her feel.

That was not her only concern. Ben talked to Peter yesterday, and he probably told him about the Omnitrix. She wished she could tell Peter, but because of Felicia, she could not take the ideal opportunity two days ago, and it seemed like her boyfriend left his phone at home when he met Ben. She feared Peter's potential rejection upon his possible discovery, but that did not stop her from coming to his house and spending an hour with his aunt. The poor woman did not make any accusations, but she wished her nephew stayed home with her for emotional support instead of meeting people and disappearing for the whole day.

'Huh...' Gwen thought, 'This is probably how Peter felt ever since Ben fixed Karen.'

Her thought process was cut short when she heard a knock on her door.

"Hey, Sis," Howard spoke from the other side of the door, "Breakfast is ready."

Gwen dressed up and joined her family.

...

"Is everything alright, dear?" Helen asked George, "You look tensed."

George did not answer his wife right away. He first gestured to Gwen, "Morning, Gwen. Sit down. I need to talk to you all about something."

Gwen sat down and listened.

"There's been a recent development in the precinct. A masked anarchist has been spotted roaming the streets yesterday, taking matters into their own hands."

Gwen's eyes widened, 'That's bad. Ben probably helped Peter take down more people who looked like the shooter and couldn't hide their activities well enough,' She looked at her phone under the table and searched for whatever could give her information about the scale of yesterday's actions.

"A masked vigilante?" Howard asked in excitement, "Is he a superhero like Iron Man?"

"Iron Man is not a hero, son. This is serious," George countered, "That man is taking justice into his own hands and endangering civilians around him. That's why you cannot go outside when it's dark, especially alone. We don't know his agenda yet, and I won't let you be his next victim."

"Don't worry, Dad, we'll be careful," Gwen reassured him before looking at her little brother "Right, Howard?"

"Yeah, but I will search for that guy's pictures later," Howard agreed, "I want to see if it's a cool mask."

"And you want to recognize him and get away if you see it, right?" Helen asked.

"Sure," Howard replied sarcastically, "I will let other masked guys approach me if I see them beating up guys."

Helen saw Gwen going through her contacts on her phone, "Who do you want to call this early?"

"Eh..." Gwen noticed everyone looking at her, "I want to warn a classmate who works with me... He is the guy who asked me out."

"Yeah, I remember you mentioning him," Helen said kindly, "Why won't you invite him here one day."

"Sure..."

The conversation continued towards Howard's growing relationship with a girl from Gwen's school, Ashley. Gwen was not as active in the conversation as she would have been otherwise, much to her father's attention. Her brother kept tutoring the younger girl, Kate, with her schoolwork, but he paid more attention to his would-be girlfriend.

Peter and his Aunt May visited Uncle Ben in the hospital, and May was slightly happier that day.

"The doctors say that his condition improved gradually since he came here and could leave in a few months if he wakes up, but he will never make a full recovery," She said with a smile while looking at her unconscious husband, "But how will I afford his stay here after his insurance expires?"

Peter knew Ben Tennyson was working on something, but he could say nothing without explaining everything. What could he say? How could he start giving his aunt hope? 'We can pull him out of here today and wait for the super cop from another universe to come and finish healing him'?

He now understood why Tennyson and his successor could not do much. If they help too directly, it will attract unwanted attention to the family and hurt them in the long run. He still didn't like it, but he could do nothing about it.

"Did Ben know your girlfriend before… this happened?" She asked.

Peter looked at her, "He met her twice. Why do you ask?"

"She is so sweet," May answered, "She came to visit yesterday looking for you and helped me get off the couch. I wish I had met her under better circumstances."

Peter was about to ask her more about it, but his phone vibrated before he could do so. It was a text from Gwen.

Gwen: We need to talk. Where are you?

It is never good when a girl starts a conversation like this. He didn't believe she wanted to break up with him over Felicia, but that was not entirely off the table either.

Peter: My aunt and I visit my uncle.

Peter: I will meet you as soon as I can.

Peter: Where?

Gwen: I will wait for you outside.

Gwen: I will be there in 5 minutes.

'interesting,' Peter thought, 'It should take longer in a car from her home.'

His aunt saw his expression and screen and smiled, "Don't let her go, Peter. She is special and makes you happy."

Peter nodded, "I know."

...

Once outside, the Parkers met Gwen, who wished to speak to Peter alone. Peter didn't want to leave his aunt alone until she got home. There were no objections to her safety, so she stayed inside while the teens talked.

"Look, Gwen, I'm sorry about Felicia. I told her to leave me alone, but she-"

"I'm not breaking up with you, Bug-Boy," Gwen cut him off, "I hate that... woman for what she did, and I don't blame you for not knowing what to do," She had a series of curses to describe Felicia on the tip of her tongue, but she held back, "Before you ask, I understand that girls would flirt with you. Do you know how many guys have made a move on me since we first kissed?"

"I don't know," Peter guessed, "Four?"

"What? Four?!" Gwen did not believe his guess, "It was a rhetorical... I lost count after 20! 20!"

"Okay..." At least she did not want to break up. Maybe it is not too bad, "So, what did you want to talk about?"

"My dad wants to arrest you," Gwen whispered.

'Nevermind. This is worse,' Peter swallowed, "When you say that he wants to..."

"He doesn't know it is you," Gwen assured him, "But he will make an announcement soon about a task force to stop the masked vigilante. You've got to lay low. You told me you wanted to catch that guy and people like him to help people, and you did it a lot yesterday. I don't want you to get sh... arrested."

Peter considered her words and hugged her, "I can't. As long as I have the power to help, it is my moral obligation to take responsibility for that night. Every night I don't do it, that guy and others like him harm good people like my uncle. I can't let that happen."

"I don't ask you to stop," Gwen clarified, "You can do things my dad can't, but you won't be able to do that with my dad chasing you. Just keep a low profile, please."

Around a week ago, Gwen would have attempted to convince Peter to quit, claiming that catching the shooter was not his job. But her recent experiences taught her that people like Peter were needed, and his promise to be careful was all she could hope for.

Peter nodded in agreement. He loved Gwen too much to disregard her worry.

"There is another thing..." Gwen paused, "It is about Ben Tennyson asking you to keep me safe."

"I didn't meet him," Peter assured her, "He sent an alien officer instead. She told me to look at your watch."

"Y-you met an alien? How did it feel?"

"She was nice and supportive," Peter answered, "I couldn't have made yesterday's progress without her. I was shocked, but she was… more human than she looked."

Gwen quirked an eyebrow, "What do you mean by that?" There was no reason to mask her confusion, and there were several applications to Peter's statement that Gwen did not wish to consider.

"I mean that she looked like a cat girl, but was once a human," Peter tried to explain, "It is a long and confusing story, and I needed hours to believe and understand it."

Gwen took a deep breath and tightened her hug. It was time to open up.

"Yes, so about that, Ben Tennyson sent this watch to our world and wants me to help him spread his influence here for something great. I never learned what exactly he wants our world to prepare for and what my role is in his plan, but I was given free use for his level-20 tech, and I am trying my best to help with it. I'm sorry I kept it a secret from you. I've tried to tell you several times. This watch allows me to..."

The teens felt vibrations from their pockets and separated to check their phones. Peter received a notification from Karen about his suspect, much to Gwen's dismay, "Please, I am trying to tell you something important."

Peter still got a look at his phone and cracked it further. Rage showed on his face.

"So…" Gwen played with her hair. It was not a good time to tell him more about the watch, "You probably want to check on your aunt, right?"

"I will," Peter said with contained anger, "I need to fix this stupid phone when I get home."

"I know someone who can fix it for you for free," Gwen offered, "I gave her a makeover, so she owes me big time. She can upgrade your phone in a few minutes."

"Is she a Plumber?" Peter asked.

Gwen's eyes widened momentarily before she nodded slowly.

"I will think about it, but I need to see it. My life gets too weird to miss that."

Gwen took a moment to word her response best, "I… I will tell her to appear wherever and whenever you need. I am sure she will be flexible."

'I knew it! Schmooze said she would be the last Plumber to get here for a while.'

"I need to go," Peter said. There was one way to end this interaction with a positive vibe. He smiled, "See you tomorrow?"

Gwen smiled, "Yes..."

She crossed her arms over her chest with a smile as he left to pick up his aunt before she realized she had forgotten something, "I forgot to invite him to dinner."

She looked at her phone, where she saw a notification from the Daily Bugle.

"Due to the general concern from yesterday's reports, Captain George Stacy will form a task force to catch the mass lunatic gang of vigilantes known for their red masks. Leaks suggest that despite their identical appearance, these are members of a new gang that takes the law to its hands."

There was one dark and blurry attached video of the masked man chasing a criminal to his car, lifting the car's rear as the engine started, and smashing it against the ground with enough force to cripple the vehicle.

"Our sources suggest that the task force will be prioritized over most assault and murder attempt cases in Queens, Brooklyn, and..."

Gwen turned off her phone. Her boyfriend may need her help.

After bringing his aunt home, Peter wore his homemade swinging suit and searched for more clues about the shooter's location. He had already learned from beaten-up criminals that the man's name was Nir Vax, but he could not find any legal address or updated places of interest. He still had the maps Ben Tennyson gave him in the hospital after saving his uncle, but the paths and spots from the map were no longer useful since Nir learned of the crazy masked guy's activities and changed his route and plans.

To make matters worse, Gwen texted Peter that her parents wanted to invite him to dinner in two days.

"Yeah, of course, I'll have dinner with the captain who wants to arrest me instead of the guy who almost took my uncle away!" Peter narrated sarcastically while swinging between high buildings. His black jacket and jeans kept him warm, but their weight and wind resistance made his swinging somewhat harder, "Why don't I also tell him who I am and that I know his daughter's mouth better than her dentist while I am at it?!"

"This action is unadvised, Peter," Karen texted him. The AI would have spoken, but Peter hadn't fixed his phone yet.

"No kidding, Karen!" Peter exclaimed, "Why do you think we are so high? The police can't spot me up here."

'Alright, Peter, You can do this,' He thought, 'You must continue your search and keep fighting from the shadows. Uncle Ben deserves justice."

He leaped off the rooftop and swung into action, his keen senses attuned to any sign of trouble. He stopped a mugging here and foiled a robbery there, all while trying to remain unseen. But still, the face of his Nir Vax eluded him. Hours passed, and frustration grew. At least once that was done, he could consider retiring.

"Where are you, you coward?" Peter asked, "Show yourself!"

Just then, he spotted a figure darting down a dark alley. Something about the way he moved caught Peter's attention. He followed, heart pounding with anticipation. As he rounded the corner, he came face to face with the man he'd been hunting. It was him. He found that trash, Nir Vax.

"You..." Peter disguised his voice with rage, "I found you!"

He grabbed Nir by the collar and threw him against a wall, trying to web him, only to find out that he ran out of webs, 'Whatever, I can beat him up without webs before reloading and dropping him at the...'

"Police!" Someone called behind him with authority, "Hold it right there!"

Peter froze when his Spider-Sense alarmed him a moment too late.

"Turn around slowly," The cop ordered and was almost surprised at his cooperation so far, "You're under arrest for vigilantism and endangering the lives of civilians."

She threw a set of handcuffs at him, "I know how strong you are and I am not getting close until it's safe. Put them on!"

Nir took advantage of the distraction and pulled out his gun, aiming at the detective. Peter's Spider-Sense worked quickly enough this time. He acted without thinking and smacked the gun away while breaking Nir's hand by a fortunate accident. The detective fired her gun when Nir's shot barely missed her.

The vigilante fell to the ground in pain while holding his arm while Nir bolted down the alleyway, disappearing despite a visible wound on his side.

"It's Watanabe," She called into her radio, noticing that the vigilante disappeared in a blue blur, "I need some backup!"

...

Peter was dropped at high speed far away from the scene. It was not enough to injure him but enough to be uncomfortable.

In front of him, was a blue alien Velociraptor with black wheels attached to its feet and a tail with black stripes. It wore a skin-tight suit that made Peter wonder where the suit ended and where the exposed skin started. A symbol that Peter knew was the Omnitrix was on the creature's chest above what looked like a small pair of breasts, implying it was a female. Perhaps it wasn't a female, but you can't tell with aliens.

'Wait, Alien V had turned into this alien before, and it was more muscular than this one,' Peter thought, 'It must be her!'

She noticed the way he moved while looking at her. His body language had no fear, aggression, or hostility, so she let her visor fold up.

"Are you okay?" She asked worriedly.

"I will be fine in a few hours. I need to close this hole," He answered while holding his injured arm and dirtying the drops of his blood on the rooftop, "Thanks for the saving."

"D-Do you know who I am?" She asked.

"I-I think I do, but we don't have time for that," He continued, "When I got shot, I saw my blood slash on that guy's wound. He could be as powerful as I am if it doesn't kill him. We need to stop him and... I don't know. Do you have a way to deal with it?"

"I think I have something, but I don't have much time left," She said, "I'm sorry for not helping you sooner. We will talk later. I promise."

She zoomed past him and chased Nir. For a brief moment, Peter felt something soft pressed against his masked cheek. Did she kiss him?

"Ouch!"

Feeling the pain from his gunshot wound, Peter reloaded his web-shooters with a spare capsule in his pocket and sealed the wound. He would have shouted in anger that Nir couldn't escape from him and that he would chase him to the end of the earth, but by the time he finished reloading and closing his injury, he was more focused on Tennyson's successor. How she looked at him made him realize how close he was to... Sure, he was not going to kill him, but he tried to break bones outside of self-defense.

He was still angry with Detective Watanabe for stopping him, but the successor's help calmed him down significantly. He must speak to her soon, preferably, before his dinner with Gwen's parents.

...

Nir Vax didn't know what was going on anymore. First, an old hero-wannabe got himself shot just because he dropped his gun briefly. A crazy man on steroids in a red mask tried to hunt him down and forced him into hiding, and now he got shot and there was a green and painful infection where that crazy man's venomous blood touched his skin and injury. He ran as fast as he could. It didn't matter that the trigger-happy cop had already lost him in two minutes. If he could get away from that man, he could figure out how to deal with that infection.

After what felt like hours of running, Nir got his feet kicked under him in a blue blur. As soon as he saw the creature in front of him, he reached for his gun, only to remember that the man in the red mask smacked it away from him.

[Severe genetic damage detected. Should we attempt repair?]

"Do it!" The monster ordered the talking budge on its chest.

A green beam fired at Nir, burning his wound and the strange infection. It was painful, like being shot twice more by molten bullets, and the green light temporarily blinded him. When he regained sight, he saw a girl in a white woody and a black neck-warmer on the bottom half of her face running away while looking at her red watch. He was in too much pain to follow her, and he had more important things to deal with. He had to steal some painkillers from the nearest pharmacy.

...

Gwen saw the red hourglass as soon as she transformed but only checked when she was sure no one was following her.

"Omnitrix," Gwen breathed heavily, "Status report."

[Protocol Red regression has been averted. You have transformed in time.]

That was a relief.

[Error! Energy reserves depleted. The genetic repair had destroyed the patient's infected flesh instead of repairing it. Please manage your energy levels better next time.]

"Great. How am I supposed to find and cure this guy now?"

Before she could come up with a plan, she heard an alarm, police sirens joined soon, and she saw Nir running away from a nearby pharmacy with something in his hand. Peter stood on a rooftop, hidden from the cops from that angle while looking at the chase with a bandaged arm.

(Another scene will be added for the chapter's second draft.)

Doctor Connors showed the results to his direct superior. The man's mere presence always disturbed him. An evil mustache wouldn't look out of place on that guy's face.

"You've got to start human trials," The man said.

"No, I don't and, I won't. It is still too dangerous," Connors refused, "The hosts die too frequently for us to move to human trials."

"He will die," The man antagonized the doctor.

"People die, even Norman Osborn," The doctor countered while organizing a few items, "Hopefully, his son will make it when it awakens."

"We are not done here."

"Human trials?" Connors tried to be reasonable, "Where will you find the volunteers?"

"I've told you that I will allow you to beat up homeless people for the cause, and there are enough of those in New York. We will make them sign contracts they can't understand and use them as we see fit."

Connors could not believe his boss's statement, "You've got to be kidding me."

The doctor tried to walk away, but his boss stood in his way, "I don't think I am. That is unless you can offer someone else."

There was no choice here. Either he helped the plan and supervised it to a limited degree or got fired and blacklisted.

"I volunteer."

Author's Notes:

The war adds a lot of stress to my life, making my writing a lot slower.

Despite the stress fogging my path, I see it through, navigate to my goal, and like one of my favorite heroes, I push through, knowing it's hero time.

You can't do anything about the war, but you can help me deal with other sources of stress by either, going to my P-atreon, leaving supporting reviews, or both. There is a link in my bio. Had it beenn't for these stresses, I would have finished this story two years ago.
