(Prologue)
Finally…
Finally, after all this time, Lancex, Jack, and the others had finally completed their mission – Nil and Emperor Mateus were defeated and no more. Jack and his friends could finally relax, but it was not without cost. They were all battered but alive.
Lancex then had a flash in his vision, showing him something that was to happen – in 10 seconds from now as he had seen a flash of light and a bot of some kind in it. No sooner seen, then Lancex pushed Jack out of the way, as an intense flash of bright white light. It was so intense that Lancex could barely take it in. But it wasn't the bot, it was emperor Mateus, who had revived and this intense light was a dangerous weapon. Lancex took the brunt of it, until another even more intense light appeared and finally destroyed the emperor once and for all, but at the nearly the cost of Lancex's life.
Jack and the others watched a small but seemingly powerful bot appeared. They were nervous but could sense this form seemed to be no threat to them. "My name is Slugbug" the small but mighty bot boomed in a powerful voice. "I mean you no harm. I was sent here" Slugbug revealed. Jack and the others looked at each other and then at Slugbug.
"Why were you sent here?" Jack asked, stunned. Slugbug didn't answer verbally, but once he spotted Lancex, he sent out a radiant circle type light that encapsulated Lancex, healing things in a way no medic could. Slugbug knew he only had the power to do this thanks to Primus. Lancex was healed but not awakened. "Where are you taking him?"
"He is needed in another realm, to help others. He has a purpose elsewhere. His time here is complete" Slugbug answered. Jack nodded. He understood.
"Please… take him somewhere he will be happy" Jack called out.
"He must end another war… and you will be successful in all you do from here on out" was all Slugbug would indicate before he and Lancex disappeared. Jack understood… he still just hoped the best for his friend, but knew things, somehow, would be okay.
