Thoroughly annoyed at getting peppered with random laser fire, Lancex drew his sword and prepared to enter the fray. Ratchet and the other three were confused as to how Lancex would handle this random laser fire, but they should never have underestimated the bot, including his weaponry. Lancex stared down the laser fire barrage and then uttered "Red needles." The others watched as strange red needle like objects appeared out of seemingly nowhere. But they all moved as one when Lancex waved his sword, each one heading for a separate laser weapon. Soon enough, the laser fire stopped.
Once the firing stopped, Lancex put his sword away. Bee wanted to comment as well as ask questions, but one dark and serious look from Lancex was enough to shut the small yellow bot for now. Ratchet, for one, was relieved, as Bee could be quite the nuisance when he wanted to be. "We have a mission to complete. And I have a plan to get Optimus, but you must listen to exactly what I say" Lancex firmly yet quietly stated, leaving no room for argument.
"We trust you" Ratchet and Prowl replied quietly, while Bee and Bulkhead merely nodded.
Meanwhile, seemingly oblivious to what had occurred with his entry trap, Lockdown had finished speaking with the crazed triple changer Blitzwing. Lockdown had indicated that he was moving forward to his module and weaponry upgrades. Blitzwing indicated that Lockdown would only get those once Optimus was delivered as ordered by Megatron. Lockdown had acknowledged that and knew it would only be a short while before this mission was seemingly complete.
Having shut down the convo after saying "pleasure doing business with ya" Lockdown looked over at the prey he had captured. Optimus had seemingly stopped struggling as the bot was well aware it would do no good at this point. Lockdown had already taken Optimus' energon axe in addition to Ratchet's EMP generator. All Lockdown could think of now, though, was the powerful sword that the mystery bot seemed to carry. It seemed to be even more powerful than almost any other weapon that the mercenary had stolen.
But just as Lockdown dreamed of ultimate power and the sword, alarms blared loudly and caught him slightly off guard, as while he had expected the Autobots to search, he couldn't fathom that they could possibly be this fast considering the team looked like Autobot Academy rejects, nevertheless, Lockdown headed out, as there was a battle to face.
