Meanwhile, on the dino island, Lancex found himself in a bit of a quandary. He enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the "nature" as it was called, but his musings were often interrupted by the dinobots. More specifically Grimlock. The T-Rex was relentless in his pursuit and his constantly wanting to fight the strange bot. Lancex would try to walk around in the cool air, and yet Grimlock would try to get to the bot, nearly attacking said bot only to be stopped by Lancex's ability before being able to reach Lancex. Lancex was getting a bit frustrated about using his spirit energy or his sword, in its scabbard, to get the oafish dinobot to back off, though it never seemed to last long enough for poor Lancex.
Desperately needing a break from the intrusive T-Rex, Lancex used his flash step powers and fled the island, heading into the city. He needed some peace and quiet for a bit before he would return to the dinobot island, as nothing seemed to ward off the nosy dinobot. Grimlock was frustrated seeing the bot vanish, but then, he and his fellow dinobots felt something strange. They weren't sure what it was exactly, and so they ignored for now. Grimlock also felt something else about the bot who had left. He was unaware of what he feeling was but would bide his time for now. After all, he figured that Lancex would return in due time, just like Grimlock had always seen the bot do.
Seeking a break from the nosy, thunderous, and fight prone Grimlock, Lamcex headed into the city of Detroit. He planned on watching the Autobots to see if they needed any help, and would join in of needed. Ryu silently watched, making sure no one and nothing took advantage of Lancex, especially not the other bots around. Lancex would head into the fray as needed but retreat away from the others when the danger was over. And so that continued for now, but would hopefully soon change.
Meanwhile, deep in the darkness and coldness of outer space, something or someone was moving rapidly towards the earth. No one had detected it yet, but it had a mission, and that mission would lead to more chaos for everyone, but especially Detroit's newest protectors- the Autobots.
