Chapter 29

After defeating some highly skilled Heartless and Nobodies, Sora, Donald and Goofy swim toward the underwater entrance to the moon pool. They find Emma, Cleo and Rikki using their powers to battle a Starfish Heartless that was blocking the way. Sora with his new keyblade helps defeat it while Cleo swims through the moon pool passageway to find Lewis. Emma and Rikki notice Sora's new eye colour and Keyblade noticing that he has been moonstruck.

Donald: When will we ever have a break?

Goofy: Looks like can't yet! We've still got this monster to deal with! Ready Sora?

Sora floated still with his silvery eyes fixed on the Starfish Heartless with his new trident keyblade in hand as Emma cried for help.

Emma: Sora! Donald! Goofy! Help us!

Rikki: Take this starfish! Feel the power of getting boiled!

Goofy: Do ya think this is a the final boss?

Donald: Cannot be, what do you think Sora? Ah Sora?

Donald and Goofy were asking Sora questions but he just remained slient and still.

Goofy: SORA HEY SORA?

Donald: Maybe he needs another Thunder Blast again?

Donald gets ready to shoot Sora with his staff with another Thunder Blast but then Goofy stops him as it is noticed that Sora begins to raise his trident keyblade and begins to aim for the Starfish Heartless. Donald and Goofy tell the girls to get out of the way to avoid being zapped.

Goofy: Girls get out of the way!

Donald: Think he's about to shoot!

The girls swam out of the way and a beam of silvery light went straight for the Starfish Heartless making it explode. Sora still remained slient. Cleo quickly swam through the tunnel.

Rikki: Hey! Thanks Sora! Nice new weapon!

Emma: Rikki, i think he has been moonstruck! Look at his eyes! He has the moon in his eyes!

Emma and Rikki gazed at Sora noticing his strange behavour. Donald and Goofy tell them that he seemed normal a few seconds ago however there is no time to explain right now as there might be danger occurring in the moon pool.

Goofy: Hey where did Cleo go?

Rikki/Emma: OH NO!

Sora suddenly makes a beeline for the moon pool corridor in a shot. Emma, Rikki, Donald and Goofy soon follow. They stop halfway since Sora at stopped halfway to the point where they can see what was happening in the water and on the surface.

Donald: Sora? What's wrong why did you stop?

Emma: Its Cleo, she is in the moon pool and Lewis and Charlotte are present on the surface

Rikki: I suggest we cause some steam and make an entrance!

Everyone agreed while Sora just remained a mindless zombie. Rikki began making scrunching both her hands and the water around them began to bubble. She suggested for everyone to leave the water so no one ends up as cooked seafood. Cleo and Sora seemed to know what was going on and used his trident keyblade to lift everyone out of the water without being seen. Donald used his staff to give himself and Goofy their regular legs.

Charlotte: What's happening? Where is she?

Rikki: Don't get all steamed up! We're here to take you down!

Charlotte: What?

The girls, Sora, Donald and Goofy all emerged from the steam all presenting themselves in their normal forms shocking Charlotte and making Lewis smile in relief.

Donald (Whispering): Goofy, her eyes! Do you see what i see?

Goofy (Whispering): Yeah they are yellow, do you think she's?

Sora: Possessed

Goofy/Donald: Sora?

Sora (serious): She's possessed, over taken by darkness! Demyx's plan all along! Mixed with the moons spell

Donald (Whispering to Goofy): Is it just me or has Sora just got smarter?

Normally Sora would react to one of Donald's comments about him but he remained serious and slient. Charlotte begins to overpower her making her water spout into shapes of cobras.

Lewis: Waahhh!

Charlotte: Do you really think, you could beat me and you...

Sora: STOP!

Sora once again slient just stood there however now he was pointing his trident keyblade towards her. It was now glowing like his eyes.

Charlotte (trying to hide that she was a little nervous): Seriously? A trident? i'm not going to be stopped by a kid like you!

Sora: I said STOP!

Lewis: Charlotte please stop all this! Do what he says!

The possessed Charlotte used her powers to make the water cobras look more vicious and made it head towards the girls. Pushing them back towards the moon pool. They try to use their powers but they didn't have much affect. Time was running out and the full moon was beginning its show showering the moon pool and making it bubble. The sliver in Sora's eyes began to glow even more!

Charlotte: Who wants to be the first to lose their tail? How about i choose...CLEO or should i just finish all of you off at once?

Sora: Bring it on!

Donald: Yeah bring it on!

Goofy: Right behind ya Sora! Lewis you better find somewhere safe to hide

Lewis without saying a word listen to Goofy's advise and hide somewhere safe. Emma, Rikki and Cleo began creating severe weather anomalies around Mako. Wnd, rain, hail and lightening began to appear in battle while Sora, Donald and Goofy joined in the battle against Charlotte.

Sora: HA! COME OOOONN!

Charlotte: You puny kid you wasting time, just because you have an upgrade on that silly weapon of yours doesn't mean you will bet me!

Sora battled using his trident keyblade using its new moon spells the powers got stronger the more the moon shun on to it, Donald used his range of spells with his staff while Goofy used his powers from his shield. Suddenly a a lighting stike hits Charlotte's snakes making her slip and weak.

Goofy: Nice one Donald!

Donald: Wasn't me!

Sora walks up to Charlotte, and points his keyblade at her again.

Sora: Whoever you are or whatever you are, your leave this world and leave everyone i care about alone! Demyx if you can here me, show yourself!

Charlotte glanced at his eyes that are now fully glowing like the moon. The moon was now directly overhead. Sora then gives the girls a nod and suddenly a big gust of wind picks Charlotte up. Charlotte quickly grabs hold of the keyblade taking Sora with her.

Goofy: Sora? What are you doin?

Sora: Now!

On Sora's command the girls still controlling the weather conditions drop the girl and Sora into the bubbling moon pool. A dark shadow emerged from her body and exploded right in everyones eyes. Returning Charlotte's heart to her. The bubbling stops as the moon begins to move away from the sky hole.

Donald: Sora! Sora! Are you alright Sora!

Goofy: Do you think he's ok?

The cave was slient and Lewis emerged from his hiding place. Those who were on the surface waited for Sora and Charlotte come up for air. As Sora and Charlotte both came up to the surface, everyone noticed that they both had their legs again and were back to their normal selves. Sora no longer had his fins and silver eyes while Charlotte too no longer had her tail and yellow eyes. Demyx appeared and noted his defeat.

Demyx: Oh dang! I truely thought this plan was gonna work! No thanks to you Sora! She was such a great spesimen!

Rikki: Who's that dude?

Cleo: Haven't we seen this guy before?

Demyx (playing his guitar weapon): Oh you have and i've been watching ya ladies the whole time and Sora, how nice to see you all normal again! Still i rather liked the tail and sliver eyes on you they suited you!

Sora: Clear off Demyx, this world doesn't someone like you!

Demyx: Suit yourself i was getting bored of this world anyway! Too much water and mithological creatures! Arrivederci!

Demyx vanished and a bright light appeared above the moon pool revealing the keyhole to this world. Sora did his normal thing and jumped for it sealing the worlds keyhole once and for all!
