Here's another chapter! This story is centered around Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida for the most part! I've been wanting write about them for a while now! I wanted something different and fun! Iida is finally going after the old man in the shop! Uraraka on the other hand is having a dream about... Neverland...?! I just wanted to not neccessarily have a crossover, but a way to show where Sakura lives. I thought that it would be cool to at least reference it somehow. We'll see where this story goes! These stories are based on The Winter Dance so I highly recommend reading that and anything else after that! You should read, Class 1-A's Sleepover!, A Beautiful View, A Love Letter and You're My Hero! Then this one! Enjoy!
In the streets of Japan...
Iida ran across the streets as fast as he could towards the shop. He had to get there fast before Mr. Amasawa did anything stupid. He knew that he was going to try to get away with the spell book and Midoriya along with it. Not only that, but Uraraka was still in trouble. He had to do something to help his friends. Whatever it took, even if he was against this stuff at first. He didn't ever think he'd be trying to help his friends with magic or anything like this.
He ran, and his legs were hurting. He didn't care as he kept going. Soon enough, he spotted the shop in the distance. It was there just like the last time they found it. Somehow it was back where it used to be. He didn't question it and ran as fast as he could. Soon, he skidded across the ground as he came to a stop.
Iida walked up to it, realizing that the business card must've conjured it somehow. He looked up at the sign and never noticed it before. It said Mr. Amasawa's Spells and Charms Antique Shop, but he wasn't Mr. Amasawa for some reason. Iida wondered who this older man was if he wasn't him this entire time. He couldn't believe that he was even doing this. He took a deep breath in and out and entered the shop.
The bell to the shop rang, and Iida looked around for him. He didn't spot right away, but he couldn't be browsing the place at a time like this. He needed him to help him out with this sort of thing.
"Hello? Is anyone in here?" Iida asked him a little frantically, "I need help finding something."
Before he knew it, the older man had appeared out of no where. Iida almost jumped when he was right by his side with a smile on his face. He had to catch his breath seeing someone show up out of no where like that.
"Yes. Hello again," The older man said to him, "Did you need something my boy? You called me a few times earlier. Sorry about that, I was busy with other things. You know how these things work. Help a few people out, everyone wants your help with magical items."
Iida cleared his throat, not wanting to be here for so long.
"Y-Yes. Sir, I need help with something... magical," Iida said back, "You see, that spell book and necklace that you gave them are... kind of, doing things that I don't know how to reverse. That Mr. Amasawa guy, he was stuck in that spell book, and now he's trying to use Midoriya to get out of it. Uraraka's in trouble as well."
"Mr. Amasawa you say?" The older man questioned.
Something about the older man seemed to understand, but didn't know that the spell book was even cursed.
"Yes. You even said that the one is one of a kind," Iida told him, "There's gotta something that you can do to help them. Something like a potion or some kind of spell to get rid of the curse."
The older man thought about it for a moment as he walked around the shop. Iida followed him and wondered what he was looking for. He seemed to be skimming through the shop's inventory, and Iida felt himself getting antsy just standing there. He kept looking through spell books and potions, but wasn't coming up with anything.
"You know, this shop isn't doing very well now adays. That's why I'm giving some of these things free of charge to anyone that needs help. By the looks of it, it seems like you need all the help you can get. This Amasawa guy, I knew him back then. He used to be my apprentice, actually," The older man explained to him.
Iida's eyes widened in shock, not knowing that he even had a quirk at all to begin with.
"You knew him? Then, why would you be selling his spell books? Do you realize what kind of person he is?" Iida asked him.
"Yes. I know very well," The older man said to him, "I was even trying to help him see things from a different perspective. All I ever wanted was for him to understand what it meant to have powers like this. His kind of quirk is rare and not something to take for granted. He never seemed to understand where I was coming from. I even took things too far with that fairy of his. I tried to stop him, but it was too late. I thought that maybe selling his spell books and other magical items would help out with what he could've been doing with this quirk."
Iida was shocked to find out about all of this. He knew about Mr. Amasawa and Sakura, but didn't know what became of him. He had no idea that he was cursed into one of his spell books. He could tell that he was just trying to help him become a better hero by selling his things. He felt kind of bad for him that things didn't turn out very good for this older man.
"You know, you might not be able to help him... but my friends really could use your help," Iida told him, "I understand how you feel. I tried to help Midoriya and Uraraka get rid of the spell book and necklace, but I couldn't do anything to stop this from happening. I'm just trying to find a way to help them so things don't turn out like your apprentice and Sakura."
The older man stopped in his tracks, and Iida could tell that he was a little stumped about the whole thing. Iida watched him and noticed that he was trying to lose his composure. Something about this older man looked like he wanted to be done selling these magical items. Iida frowned, but wondered if he could something to help him.
"Even if these things are mostly Mr. Amasawa's, this is still your shop. Right?" Iida pointed out, "You should still keep running. Maybe if you cleaned it up a bit and reorganized it, you could actually make it look more presentable. Maybe things are a little hard for you right now, but if you keep look closer, I'm sure that you could find something magical about this place. That's what you said to me, right?"
The older man's eyes widened and looked back at Iida. Something about his eyes looked more hopeful, and Iida knew that he had gotten through to him.
"My boy, I can see that you've been through a lot as well," The older man told him, "Tell ya what, I'll help you if you can help me reorganize the shop. You seem like someone who knows how to stay organized."
Iida smiled at him, feeling like he could get behind that. Something about the place didn't seem as weird as it once was.
"Sure. But the thing is sir... I don't know your name," Iida pointed out.
"Oh. I'm sorry. Where are my manners?" The older man said to him, "I'm Daiki Tachibana."
Tachibana extended his arm out for a handshake, and Iida smiled at him.
"I'm Tenya Iida. I'm Class 1-A's Class Rep.," Iida told him, "I'd be honored to help you organize your shop when I get the chance."
Tachibana smiled at him and went right to finding him something to help his friends. He looked around his shelf, and Iida was worried about his friends. Before he could even worry about them however, Tachibana grabbed something from the shelf. Iida couldn't tell what it was, but it was in a box. Soon enough, Tachibana led him to the front of the shop.
"This will help you defeat Mr. Amasawa," Tachibana told him, "I don't know if it'll stop him completely or if he'll go back in the spell book, but you'll need something just as powerful as his quirk. I've trained for a while, so I know that he's someone that would need something to rely on. That's why he writes spells and charms, it somehow helps him control his quirk better. This should help you take advantage of that and maybe even help your friends."
Iida looked down at the box, wondering what it could be. He hesitated to open the box, wondering about Uraraka and Midoriya's condition.
"You really think that this will bring my friends back?" Iida asked him, "They're aren't exactly themselves at the moment."
Tachibana looked down at the box and nodded at him. Then he went behind the register area, looking for something to give him. He grabbed him something on the shelves in the back, wondering what it could possibly be. Tachibana held something in his hand and handed it to Iida.
"This is something that I found alongside the spell book," Tachibana explained to him, "For some reason, it was torn out of it. It might've been something important to his plan. Whatever happened between him and Sakura, clearly she was tricked. But this charm... might help bring back your friends."
Iida took the piece of paper, realizing that because there was a spell or charm out of the book, he could possibly use it to his advantage. He opened it up, and his eyes widened in shock when he read the charm.
Reversing Charm...
It was exactly what he needed. He realized that someone must've torn it out of the spell book. It was either Mr. Amasawa or Sakura. Whatever happened between them, he knew that they never got along very well.
"This is exactly what I need. Thank you sir!" Iida said a little too loud.
"It's my pleasure. Your friends seem like nice folks. I can tell that you care about them very much," Tachibana told him.
Iida couldn't help but smile when he thought about how much he really wanted to help them through anything. He wanted to be there for them and do whatever he could to help them out of the situation. Then Iida looked down at the box, wondering what was in it.
"What's this?" Iida asked him.
"This..." Tachibana said as he got ready to open the box, "Is something that I gave to Mr. Amasawa back when I trained him to be a pro hero. He may have a sorcerer type quirk, but he needed something to help him control it better. This is now yours. It'll help defeat him."
Iida's eyes widened in shock when Tachibana opened the box...
In Class 1-A's common room...
Mr. Amasawa kept casting spells and charms, trying to zap anyone who gets in his way. Yaoyorozu tried to protect Todoroki since he was still a rabbit. Everyone else made sure that Uraraka was okay and protected from the spells. Bakugo didn't leave her side as she laid there peacefully. She was not making any signs that she was getting up soon. Bakugo worried about her, but tried to focus on the enemy in front of him. Kirishima even tried to take the spell book from him, but almost got hit by a spell. Kaminari tried to weave around the spells, but couldn't find a way to reach Mr. Amasawa. He thought that he could zap him and knock him out, but he was too fast.
The spell book weaved around, which gave no sign to Midoriya waking up. Mr. Amasawa had gotten out of those ropes, so he was avoiding the mirror. They couldn't see Midoriya anymore in the mirror as they tried to defeat Mr. Amasawa. They launched at the spell book, trying to get it away from him. He kept casting spells, but he had to have the book by his side in order to do it.
They knew that, but they still couldn't get it away from him. With Todoroki being a rabbit, they couldn't just freeze his feet to the floor. Sero tried to wrap him up in sticky tape, but he got him with more spells to make it lose its quality. It even went limp, making it tougher to shoot out. Even Mineta couldn't get the sticky balls to stick to the spell book.
Bakugo wanted to jump in and grab the spell book, but he didn't want to leave Uraraka behind. She laid there looking like a fairy even more. He was nervous that he was too late to transform back to normal. He didn't even know if Uraraka was still herself or Sakura at this point. He gritted his teeth, feeling frustated with himself that he couldn't do anything.
"Uraraka. I'm going to fix this," Bakugo said under hia breath, "Don't worry about it."
Bakugo locked onto Mr. Amasawa as he raised his arms up. His hands glowed pink and green, ready to zap more spells at anyone that comes into contact with him. He then spotted Uraraka on the couch, making him smirk from ear to ear.
"It looks like your friend is a goner at this point," Mr. Amasawa told them, "You might as well give up now. I've got the spell book and your friend. If you accidentally burn the book, you might never get your friend back."
Everyone stepped back, worried that they might hurt Midoriya. Bakugo noticed everyone hesitate, which worried him that Mr. Amasawa might run off with Midoriya. He couldn't let that happen to him. He may annoy him at times, but he would never want anything like this to happen to him. If anything, he deserve have a fighting chance. He clenched his fists, getting ready to go after him.
"You bastard..." Bakugo growled out, "You think you can just come in here and take our friends away. Uraraka and Deku are stuck like this because of you. Everything that you've done, you won't even clean your own damn mess. You got out of the spell book, you should at least let Deku and Uraraka go."
Everyone was shocked to see Bakugo stand up them, especially Midoriya. Mr. Amasawa locked onto Bakugo and couldn't look away. Something about him intrigued him a little. The spell book floated in front of him, getting ready to go after him.
"You seem the type to think that you're better than everyone else," Mr. Amasawa told him, "I bet you used to pick on Izuku a lot given that nickname you've given him. Hell, you probably don't even care what happens to him one way or another. I bet if I just took him now, you would a better chance of becoming a pro hero."
Bakugo gritted his teeth, hearing him say those kind of things to him. Something about it made him realize that he might've thought that a long time ago, but now... He couldn't stand the thought of losing him, especially to someone like him. He would never admit it, but Midoriya entering U.A. helped him understand things better here. He clenched his fists, ready to take him back.
"May be right..." Bakugo growled out, shocking everyone.
"Katsuki, you don't actually mean that. I know you don't," Kirishima said back with a concerned look on his face.
"...But things are different now. Deku is not going anywhere, especially with someone like you, Spell Caster," Bakugo growled out, "You better give him back if you know what's good for you."
Mr. Amasawa looked at him and looked unimpressed, which annoyed Bakugo even more.
"Do you really think that I would even keep a spell like that in my spell book?" Mr. Amasawa asked them, "Sakura's the one that curse me. If anyone knows how to get him out of here, it's her. Besides..."
Mr. Amasawa flipped through the pages and flew it open for anyone to see. There was a torn page in the book, which caught everyone's attention.
"The reverse spell is gone."
Bakugo's eyes widened in shock, not sure what to do to help them get back to normal. Even his classmates and friends felt defeated as Mr. Amasawa showed them the spell book. His eyes and smile widened, feeling power flow through him as he activated One for All. The spell book and hands glowed so brightly as he got ready to take down this class of heroes in training.
"You really thought that you could defeat me? Katsuki was it?" Mr. Amasawa said back, "I'll be taking your friend now. First things first, I'll make sure that you get what's coming to you!"
Mr. Amasawa targeted Bakugo, and he tried to avoid being hit. Bakugo launched right at him, but he already had a spell at the ready. Before he knew it, a spell flew right at him and hitting him right in the chest.
"Katsuki!" Kirishima cried out.
Everyone was shocked to see Bakugo fade away as he fell to the floor. They were all staring at the spot where he just fell and couldn't look away. Kirishima's eyes widened in shock, seeing his partner disappear like that. He felt his knees shaking and fell to the floor. No one knew what to do in that moment as they faced Mr. Amasawa. Something about him looking like Midoriya made things even more chilling to them.
Mr. Amasawa chuckled, feeling the power of One for All flowing through him.
Then he aimed his glowing hand right at Uraraka, causing everyone to shield her.
"Midoriya! Wake up!" Yaoyorozu cried out.
"Come on, man! Wake up!" Kirishima cried out with tears in his eyes.
Mr. Amasawa flipped through the spell book, ready to take everyone down. He smiled as the glowing didn't settle down or fight back like Midoriya did a while ago.
"Katsuki is down! Who's next?!" Mr. Amasawa cried out.
Before he could zap at anyone with a spell or charm, someone came charging in and kicked him in the side. He skidded across the floor and slammed into the wall. The spell book fell down, and Mr. Amasawa's eyes widened in shock to see Iida back.
Not only was he back, but he held something that he wasn't expecting.
Iida got in a fighting stance, with a wand at the ready.
