Neb: I do not own My Hero: Academia. The following is a fanfic, based on my ideal Quirk from my Ideal OC from this show. I don't feel like self inserting into Midoriya's class, so I'm thinking this OC will be from a fan club instead to keep other OCs to a minimum. That may change as I continue the story, but for now we will keep a clear goal in mind.

Shoyomi Takashi, age fourteen had just graduated a delinquent middle school only to be accepted to a delinquent highschool. His eyes were red and his hair was black spiky. It sucked, his older sister didn't have the funds to send him to UA or any of the other upstanding hero building high schools. Meaning he would just have to be a regular human. No, that isn't going to stop him, his quirk has been developing very nicely through the years. Even if going to UA was out of his way, he could still be a positive influence on the community. Getting a Hero License was going to be much harder for him, but their was many alternative opportunities to receiving one. Growing up in the slums meant he could stop the rise of villains before they even have a chance to develop themselves. Not to mention he had eyes on the civilian population that never get shown on the news, those who are lost and forgotten. Granted, he can't use his quirk to fight villains, or else he himself will just be thrown in prison. Meaning he had to utilize it in a way that helped other people. On his way to school he could hear police cars and fire trucks heading off towards the nearby bridge that connected the slums to the civilization. A villain down there was intending to cut cord that tied the good to the bad, more than likely so he could groom the bad himself without interference from those who live up in the big city. Shoyo was wearing his school uniform, a button down white shirt and black pants, he left his black school jacket back in his sisters car before he took off. He had no intentions of dressing in a hero outfit until he's at least gained some recognition, right now it's the local authorities who should be looked up to. As Shoyo made his way towards the bridge, he saw destruction laid out across the streets. The area was blocked off by the police, and the fire fighters were already on scene trying to put out fires. Shoyo kept to the shadows and then waited to see if their was anything he could help with. If he interfered with their jobs, he would be arrested still. It looked like their was a pro hero already on scene, Mt. Lady. Was she fighting the villain by herself, or was she just the only one that stood out. Either way, Shoyo didn't come here to fight any villains. It didn't look like he was needed for rescue either. He'll have to consider this particular battle out of his hands. As he turned around to head away from the scene, he saw a creature with a brain poking out of it's head jump away from the bridge. "What the?"

The creature flew through the air with draconic like wings and it had sharp teeth. Did someone's quirk made it look like that? Either way, the creature flew down to attack some police officers.

"No you don't," Mt. Lady yelled as she slammed her fist into the creature. Luckily her giant size proved to be to much, she punted the creature into the air away from the civilians.

The creature recovered in the air and started flying back towards her. It opened it's mouth and begun breathing a blue flame at her.

She grunted as she fell back from the damage. Where were the other heroes, were they tied down by more of these beasts?

The fire ignited on the ground and begun to move towards the vehicles. Then explosions came causing officers and everyone on the sidelines to scatter.

"Somebody help my mom," a little girl screamed as the fire moved towards their car. Her mother had a head injury and was resting her head against the steering wheel. She was slipping in and out of consciousness. "Please, Mt. Lady!"

Mt. Lady reached for the car in her giant size, but her hand was kicked away by the brain exposed monster. It then begun breathing fire at her again causing her to stumble back.

"Don't worry about them," Shoyo yelled at her. "Keep fighting the monster!" He charged across the road pass the police who were trying to stop him. He got to the car and yanked the driver door open. The creature then flew at him, but Mt. Lady punched the creature away again.

"Get them out of here kid," she yelled as she continued to fight the monster. "Hurry before the fire reaches you."

"Save my daughter," the woman grunted as she laid on the steering wheel. "Please. Forget about me."

"Don't sound crazy," Shoyo shook his head. His first quirk was creating razor sharp energy, at this moment of his life he could only create it in the palms of his hands. He used it to cut her seat belt, and then he pulled her out of the car.

The monster flew past Mt. Lady and breathed the blue fire towards them.

Shoyo grunted as he grabbed the little girl and pulled her behind himself along with her mother. The birthmark on his right arm hardened into metal and formed into a short barrier that could only protect the top part of his body. That was enough to defend the two people he was protecting. Though he could feel the heat of the flames reaching down to his legs. Then the monster got smacked back again by Mt. Lady. "What is with this monster, it's getting punched by a giant and it keeps coming back." He wish he could help the Pro Hero, but his quirk wasn't developed right, but some day he'd be able to control the sharp energy and extend the metal birthmark however he wants. He calls his quirk, Sword and Shield.

"Mom, are you ok?", the little girl cried.

"Let's go," Shoyo ordered her and she followed him as he carried her mother back behind the police tape. Shoyo then fell over as his legs gave in.

"What were you thinking?", one of the officers scolded him.

Shoyo looked back at Mt. Lady who was fighting against the brain exposed beast. Even though she was giant, she wasn't able to keep it down, and it's fire breathing was causing her to keep falling back. Shoyo got ready to jump in and help, but someone beat him to the punch. A man with blonde hair wearing a blue outfit showed up and then punched the green scaly monster sending it falling back. Of course Shoyo recognized this hero, everyone recognized the strongest man. The creature flew back and breathed it's fire again, but the man dodged it and then landed another punch across it's side, and finally a punch to it's jaw sending it crashing to the ground.

"All Might," Shoyo spoke up.

"No need to worry everyone," All Might grinned. "I am here!"
